Wonderful and beautiful

Lorie of Party Blooms has been amazing to work with. We had a bridesmaid pick up the flowers and bring them to the venue due to the distance between the venue and Party Blooms. The bouquets were perfect and Lorie even sent individual flowers, not in bouquets, just in case we needed to replace anything in the bouquets.

Party Blooms did an incredible job with my flowers! I did not want anything over the top, so it was the perfect touch of greenery and flowers. She also helped with my centerpieces, which turned out amazing!

Book Party Blooms NOW!

I can't even begin to express how happy I was with our wedding flowers! If Lorie has availability, book her immediately! She can work with any budget, but she made us the most amazing bouquets for such a great price. I am not very well versed in flowers, and I didn't have a great grasps on what I wanted. Lorie helped me with my colors, designs, and final choices! She even met with us twice because I changed the wedding theme! The hit of the wedding was my dog's flower collar!

There is no need to keep shopping! Booked Lori ASAP!

Great to work with!

Party Blooms was amazing!!! Lorie was great to work with. She was very accomidating with our request, and last minute changes. We met with Lorie to get a rough quote and go over everything we wanted. Then a follow up meeting right before the wedding where I changed a good bit. Lorie and her team exceed all expectations on our wedding day. She was very budget friendly, and conscious of our budget and pointed us in directions that would save cost and give us the same effect we wanted. Highly recommend Party Blooms!

Amazing Florist

I hired Lorie for my October 27th wedding. I couldn't be happier with the results. Not only was it more inexpensive than I planned for, the flower arrangements turned out far lovelier than I imagined! I gave her a very rough idea of what I wanted and she made it even better! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a florist in the Charlotte/Rock Hill Area!

Beautiful work for a good value!

We used Lorie at the suggestion of someone who mentioned Party Blooms was cheaper than the standard places in Charlotte we were recommended for a big wedding.

Working with Lorie was lovely - she was patient with us, particularly as we added lots of non-standard elements just two weeks before (like a “floral tapestry” that hung over a balcony - we showed her one picture and she totally ran with it - it got so many compliments the day of!)

She also did our rehearsal dinner (another last minute request) and she was able to work with both locations flawlessly (aka, without any involvement from us!) in dropping everything off.

We would recommend Lorie to anyone!

Finding a florist was the hardest part of wedding planning for me! However, Lorie made the entire process so incredibly easy! She was incredibly knowledgable, had tons of pictures of her previous work, and was so helpful in making suggestions and giving advice. Our bouquets and centerpieces were absolutely stunning and lasted for days!!! She took a lot of stress off of me in selecting the flowers for the arrangements. She is the best!!

We used Party Blooms as the florist for our wedding at the Ballantyne Hotel and Resort at the end of September. We were very impressed with Lorie’s work. At our initial meeting, I had some ideas of what I wanted in regards to flowers and colors, but also needed some guidance with the layout of the flowers for the ballroom. Lorie was able to show examples of other ballroom setups she had done and we were able to decide exactly what would look best. When the bouquets arrived in the bridal suite- I was thrilled! They were exactly what I was hoping for. The flowers in the ballroom were also exactly what my mom and I had planned out in our heads so needless to say we were super excited! If you are looking for a florist who is very reasonably priced compared to others, then Lorie is your girl!

Wedding planning gets crazy and finding a florist took the back burner until about 1-2 months out from the wedding. I reached out to Lorie and she was responsive and made the process quick and painless! I had flowers and bouts for the entire wedding party plus loose stemmed flowers in bottles on the tables that she set up the day of the wedding. I'm so glad that I reached out to her because she waved her wand and put the magical final touches on my big day!!

Lorie's work was fabulous!!! Our Wedding day was superb due to Lorie's attention to color and detail with our flowers!!! From the bouquets, alter flowers, petals down the sides of aisle and the cake flowers Lorie did - just wonderful !! I could not have asked for better presentation on the colors etc... many many comments by everyone!! I highly recommend Lorie if you are particular and are looking for someone that will make you day just fabulous!!

Lorie at Party Blooms was so great to work with!! She was quick to respond to my emails and helped advise me on some flower decisions. The bridal party bouquets and boutonnières were beautiful, as were all of our centerpieces. Everything was perfect and we loved it!! We would highly recommend her! :)

I am not a flowers type of bride and had no idea of what type of flower I wanted to use. When the florist suggested a coral color, I was immediately hooked. The color went perfectly with my navy and champagne colors. Everyone loved the bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces. Lorie, thank you so much for suggesting the Hollywood roses. They were a great accessory to a great day.

Lorie was AMAZING!!! My budget was small and she never questioned it and just worked with the money I had to make my ideas come to life! I could not have been more pleased with the outcome of the flowers! She had given me the quote based only on my emails and a few photos and it was really very accurate. When we had an in person meeting 3 weeks before the wedding (I live out of town and couldn't do it before that) we discovered that I had wanted more full centerpieces than she originally thought, she quickly re-calculated and showed me the differences and made it work for me! I left feeling confident in her abilities and willing to pay a bit more for what I wanted. I will also say that her prices are SO REASONABLE!!! I can't believe we got the flowers we got for the price we paid! She did all of the bouquets (8 bridesmaids, 1 bridal, 1 flower girl), 6 ceremony bouquets and 11 table centerpieces for less than half of her competitors and they were gorgeous! She's also very attentive to emails and made time to see me when it worked for me. Super accommodating and she delivered and set up my flowers for a reasonable charge despite the 1 hour drive! She also told me that my bridal and bridesmaids bouquets were smaller than what she normally does, but I never noticed it. They were PERFECTION! I could not be more pleased to have found her and booked her. I would recommend her over and over again to anyone looking for a florist in the Charlotte area.

Lori was great with giving my husband and I ideas for the wedding flowers we wanted. She really did make my vision come to life with the flowers and throughout the entire time she was professional, always answering emails or phone calls. On the day of the wedding she arrived on time and was able to do her thing. When my husband and I saw all the flowers we were truly amazed. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Lori!

Lorie was great to work with. She responded to my e-mails quickly and designed the perfect flowers with little guidance. I e-mailed her a couple of pictures and she did an amazing job! I was sad that our wedding was out of state so I couldn't take home the beautiful arrangement she made for the chapel. I thought her prices were great and she delivered on time. I would recommend anyone to order from her.

Lorie was great! I was so lost when it came to flowers and what I wanted, that I kept going back and forth with her for a while there. In the end, she was really accomodating and patient with me AND the final products were beautiful! Everything came out even better than I imagined and I'm so thankful that she was so helpful and honest when picking out flowers in the first case --- for me, I knew I wanted certain expensive flowers and for the rest, something more economical.

She was GREAT with providing everything that fit our needs/requests/budget. If only the flowers lasted longer than a few days - i would have loved to keep them forever.

Of all my vendors my florist was my absolute favorite. Lauri did an amazing job with the flowers well within my budget. Fresh flowers was something that I did not want to compromise on when planning a wedding and I am so glad that I did not have to. I was in awe when I saw everyone's bouquet the day of, especially mine.

Where to start? I cried tears of joy when I saw my bouquet; I couldn't believe something so beautiful was just for me. Where exactly does someone file burlap colored live roses? Not sure, but Lorie had them. I wish I could post pictures of just how beautiful everything was and how much attention to detail Lorie put in everything. The two large flower arrangements where gigantic (as ordered) and had every flower I asked for with exactly the color scheme I described. My cake was perfectly executed from a Pinterest picture I showed her, my throwaway bouquet was definitely worth fighting for. Lorie created masterpieces for me. I wish I could preserve every flower she provided. I was beyond thrilled on my wedding day!

We had an amazing experience working with Lorie! We were looking for a florist who understood our desire of simplicity and beauty. We wanted the bare minimum of flowers but we wanted them to pop and be beautiful! Lorie did exactly that! The bridesmaid held beautiful rose bouquets, along with my beautiful red roses and white cali lilies and our bridesmen had red rose boutonnieres. But we had a twist! And we wanted to add adorable lego mini figure heroes to the boutonnieres. Lorie was so accommodating and volunteered to put those together for us and they were perfect! We also had rose petals on our tables for the reception and Lorie arrived early to help setup those flowers. She did an amazing job and had such an affordable price. We were very lucky to find her and would recommend her to everyone!!

Lorie was great in assisting us with our flower selection for the wedding. Since we were needing two bridal bouquets, Lori helped us to incorporate our color scheme and create two similar but different bouquets. One with tulips and roses and the other with calla lillies and roses. Both bouquets were beautiful. We did have some last minute changes a couple of weeks prior to the wedding but Lori was extremely flexible and was able to make the changes. She had some great advice for flower selection and placement. We will definitely be using her services again!

My husband and I were married in Charlotte on January 5, 2015. I was living in Wisconsin during our engagement, so I was looking for reputable wedding florists online. I liked the positive reviews of Lori, so I contacted her via email. She responded back immediately with pricing and options. Her pricing was reasonable, and she offered to be as flexible as possible. I was a little hesitant since I saw some reviews which said her flowers were wilted by the time they arrived, but I decided to go ahead with ordering my bouquets from Lori. I ordered rose bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. We agreed to meet in person before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page.
A week before the wedding, we met to finalize payment and specifics of the flowers and ribbons. On our wedding day, Lori delivered the flowers exactly when we requested her to, and the arrangements were exactly how I wanted! None of the flowers were brown or wilted. Everyone said our wedding flowers were gorgeous!

Party Blooms was an awesome suggestion from our wedding planner. All I knew regarding flowers was that I didn’t like sunflowers :) My planner gave Lorie our wedding colors and she ran with it! I literally gasped at my bouquet of roses, orchids, dahlias and astilbe on my wedding day. The flowers were absolutely stunning. Lorie was also able to stay within my budget for the members of my bridal party and reception. I highly recommend Lorie and Party Blooms!

We used Party Blooms for our daughter's outside wedding in September. The florist was very helpful choosing the correct flowers for the event and making suggestions, which I appreciated as this was our first wedding. All the arrangements, bouquets, and arbor flowers were fresh and beautiful!

I found Party Blooms at a Bridal Show in Concord and I'm glad I did! Lori was easy to work with and very nice. My flowers turned out even better than I thought they would and it's like Lori was in my head- she made them exactly how I wanted. The flowers were very affordable and gorgeous.

Party Blooms was a fantastic decision made by my wedding planner! My planner knew the quality of work that Lorie (the florist) had done in the past and knew that she was the best florist for the specific things that we desired. I wanted a certain flower in my bouquet (ranunculus) and Party Blooms exceeded my expectations. I was so pleased with the floral decorations and arrangements. Everything was breathtaking! My bouquet was absolutely beautiful and smelled divine!

Lorie's work turned out beautifully! Not only was she reasonably priced but she handled my large wedding (400 people/ 60 tables) and wedding party (27 in all) fantastically. Party Blooms provide beautiful flowers for our wedding day that far exceeded our expectations. The Bouquets were beautiful and a good amount of flowers for the value. Our centerpieces I was blown away by! I expected a few bunches of flowers but once I walked in our reception room I noticed each table had a large arrangements that many guests gave us lots of compliments about. Party Blooms was a great to work with and a great value for the quality of flowers you recieve.

The bouquets from Party Blooms were beautiful and looked exactly how I described them. Lorie did a great job, and was by far one of the easiest vendors to work with. We only needed a few bouquets and boutonnieres, so we had one planning meeting with her, and after that the bouquets arrived at the church the morning of our wedding with no issues and looked exactly how I had imagined them. Lori is very creative and hands on. She helped me create the perfect floral selection for the bridal party, church and reception. When we arrived and saw the arrangements we were so pleased. The flowers were fresh and I absolutely love my bouquet.

Prior to my consultation, she asked me to send her pictures of floral decorations I liked and inspired me. During the consultation, she was able to present me with inventive ideas that were dynamic but stayed within my budget. The day of the wedding, Lorie and her teamed dropped off the bouquets and boutineers to my hotel room. Now that's service. The church was nicely decorated. Lorie created signature centerpieces for my wedding which were gorgeous and accented my reception venue perfectly. I highly recommend her for brides on any budget.

Lorie was the BEST! I booked her after I saw the flowers she did for my friends' wedding...and I am so glad I did! She was $100s cheaper than the 2 other florists I met with, and the quality of the flowers she used was amazing. We came home from our honeymoon to a leftover centerpiece that was still alive after not being watered for a week! I got so many compliments on both the bouquets and centerpieces at our wedding.

Lori was so great. We had a cake fiasco and a fussy caterer, but she took it all in stride and even brought in some extra flowers to help out the cake. The flowers were beautiful, and she really worked with my limited budget. I would recommend her to everyone!

Lorie at Party Blooms was simply amazing! She is so skilled and knowledgable about working with flowers, that you can simply give her your ideas and your budget idea, and she was create the most perfect set of flowers for your wedding day. She delivered my flowers to the church early, and even worked with my cake baker to coordinate the flowers for my cake. Everything was beautifully arranged, the quality of the flowers were perfect, and she is SO nice! Plus, the price is very affordable.

I loved working with Party Blooms. I went there once and she handled the rest!
I didn't have to worry about anything. The only problem I had was that the mens flowers were just leaves and berries and the leaves drooped the whole time. I guess I would of picked something else if I had known that. It looked like I had put them together. Other than that the rest of the flowers were gorgeous!

I loved working with Lorie on my wedding flowers. She really listened to what I wanted, and offered lots of suggestions when there were things I wasnt sure about or undecided on. She works out of her home, and keeps overhead down, so her prices were very reasonable. Better yet, she had worked with my venue before, and was familiar with the layout. We had a fall wedding and the flowers she provided were beyond anything I could have imagined. My bouquet, my bridesmaids' bouquets, were SO gorgeous. My photographer took so many pictures of the flowers, and it's no wonder. She also provided vases and candles etc for centerpieces, and I didnt have to pick them up and get them back to her, she took care of all of that. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME, would definitely recommend.

I am so happy that we used Laurie as our florist for our wedding! She was so helpful. I wasn't sure what flowers I wanted but I knew the colors I wanted. She was able to come up with beautiful centerpieces and bouquets for my bridesmaids. And, she was very flexible when I changed a few things a couple weeks before my wedding!

Lorie is AMAZING! Her work is gorgeous and cost-effective. If you're considering using her do yourself a favor and go with her as your florist. I was not disappointed AT ALL. My only wish is that I had used her for my centerpieces and I regret that decision. All the flowers she did for me were beautiful and I received MANY compliments on them. She's great to work with and a delight!

I absolutely loved my bouquet. It was perfect and exactly what I asked for and in visioned. I'm a petite bride and I didn't want something huge or too small. It was the perfect size. The bouts were the perfect color and my bridesmaids bouquets were bright and the perfect shades of the colors I wanted for an August wedding. The reception flowers were great. I thought I wanted white flowers on my cake, but the bridesmaid colors were used instead. Which just popped against our white-on-white cake and made beautiful pictures. I would have never thought about doing it. But she definitely has an eye for things. Great to work with and give me lots of options of different flowers that I hadn't thought of.

Lori did a great job with my BM bouquets, bouts and table arrangements. The flowers were just lovely and I had so many people say that they were the prettiest they have ever seen b/c they were so unique. There was one bout and one corsage that were not brought to the ceremony but the planners worked it out and fixed it and Lori is refunding me for the mistake. Overall, EXTREMELY happy with my florals and would hire her again in a second!

I'll start by saying that I am not a flower girl, I don't like to receive them or buy them so when it came to flowers for our wedding, they were not my priority and I looked for vendors solely on budget and availability. So if you ARE a flower enthusiast, please do further research. I found Party Blooms on Weddingwire and met with Lorie a a few months before my Sept wedding. She's a local entrepreneur and is no frills which means no overhead and reasonable pricing. I asked for simple flowers (sent her a few Pinterest pics) in all white - and deferred to Lorie on what was in season and in my price range. She provided a few different options, and that was that. For reference, I had a bride's bouquet, 1 matron of honor bouquet, 2 corsages, 11 bouts, 10 centerpieces and rose petals for aisle for about $925 which included delivery to 2 locations. I had seen a photo of my venue with an aisle runner and rose petals, so I asked her to add the runner... she really discouraged me from the aisle runner saying it wouldn't lay flat in the wind and are usually a hassle. It would have been easy for her to take my money but she didn't, that's a good vendor! On day of, she was prompt to deliver bouquets/corsages/bouts to hotel (all labeled for each wedding participant) and then delivered centerpieces to the venue. All were as expected and I was very happy with the final product and her overall service, definitely recommend!

Lorie was amazing. She did exactly what I asked for - only better. I had a few last minute emergency changes and she was so gracious and worked with me to make it all work! She made everything SO easy. That day and the day after the flowers magically appeared and disappeared with absolutely not stress on me. I would recommend Party Blooms over and over!

Lorie at Party Blooms is an absolute gem to work with!!! We were referred to Lorie by my eye doctor and we could not be happier with our experience working with Lorie. As a couple who knew what they wanted, we met with Lorie to discuss flowers and she knew exactly what to recommend to fit in our color palette - aubergine, white and green. We cannot wait to see our flowers on our upcoming wedding day!!! I know that my purple calla lily bouquet and boutonierres will be absolutely stunning!! I love the work that Lorie did for my wedding. Her centerpieces were very pretty & were much more reasonably priced than I was expecting. The bouquets were gorgeous & I got lots of compliments on them! She has great prices, but she can take a little bit longer than I liked to respond to e-mails.

The owner of this small business is WONDERFUL. I knew nothing about flowers and she explained everything to me. She made lots of suggestions, showed examples, and let me make final choices. The prices were way better than most florists, probably because she does it out of her home and avoids the overhead costs of a building. The flowers were gorgeous and in perfect condition.

We started working with Lori at Party Blooms after other florist’s quotes were way too much. Other wedding vendors had told us Lori could do a lot on a tight budget, which we were on. We set out by telling Lori the budget we had to stick to, and what we were looking for. She was familiar with the venue and knew what she was working with. Lori offered numerous alternatives for us to choose from, and thought of many creative ideas to decorate the dinner tables while staying under budget. We gave Lori swatches of our wedding colors, and she did a great job matching floral arrangements to them. We wanted to a variety of arrangements on the tables, rather than 12 identical ones. Lori did a great job making three different types and spreading them throughout the room. It all looked great and was done at a price that was very affordable. I would also recommend paying the pickup charge so that you don’t have to return the vases yourself; very handy! The day after the wedding was chaotic, and having Lori come get the vases from the hotel was very convenient. We were very happy with Party Blooms and would recommend them to our friends.

Lorie was great to work with and gave us a lot of suggestions. We were disappointed, however, when we got to the church a lot of the bouquets' roses were already browning. And 3 of the bouquets fell apart before we even left the church. I also thought that my bouquet would have been a bigger.

Lori was great to work with! I had no idea what I wanted and she spent two hours with me a few weeks before my wedding to narrow down the options. I really appreciated her time. I was really disappointed with the groomsman boutonnieres. They put silver ribbon on the stems of the boutonnieres and it looked really bad. It was not secured in anyway- it was just a loose piece of ribbon wrapped around the stem that was supposed to stay in place by a pin. However, it came loose on every single one of them and it looked really sloppy (and cheap). You could see the frayed edges of the ribbon on them in the pictures. I would have thought they would have been glued or secured in some way. Also, I requested a peony bridal bouquet and showed them pictures of two types of peonies (I don't know the names) and told them which type I wanted. The ones I received were not the ones I requested, so I was kinda bummed. I saw another bride in the lobby of our hotel on our wedding day and she had the kind I wanted in her bouquet so I know they were available. However, the bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful and so were the flowers and candles in the reception hall. Also, they made an adorable kissing ball for our flower girl.

I'm not typically one to write negative reviews, but we were pretty unhappy with this vendor. Her prices weren't bad, but now I know why. When the flowers showed up at the church, I was surprised as they were not really what we had discussed. They were also dying and falling apart within hours of receiving them. My flower girl's flower ball was literally losing flowers as she walked down the aisle! And my husband's boutonniere was losing petals and wilting during pictures. When we reached out to Lorie after the wedding to let her know about our experience, she made a lot of excuses and was not very friendly to deal with. Just a heads up for any potential brides looking to work with her!

My experience with Party Blooms was mediocre. The centerpieces were beautiful but I was not pleased with my bouquet, the grooms boutonnière or the bridesmaid bouquets. The problem was that I asked for a full, large bouquet and I was delivered a small bouquet that was much smaller than my bridesmaid bouquets. I understood that I picked expensive flowers-- but the bouquet was still $175 so I didn't feel that size would be a problem. The bridesmaid bouquets had unbloomed flowers hanging off them that were extremely unattractive- and not like the picture I provided. They did fix those the day of- but they basically cut off flowers that I had paid for. In the end, Lorie from Party Blooms did refund my money for my grooms bout (because it was browned) and gave me 20% back for my bridal bouquet. That and the fact that I liked the centerpieces is the reason why the review still received a 2.3/5.
