I can't begin to explain how great Aaron was ..not only during the wedding and the photography and video we received but throughout the entire planning process of the wedding. We hired him as our photographer and videographer but he ended up being a great friend. I can't give him enough props for what he does!! -

Alexia Sent on 08/03/2018Aaron is AWESOME!!! So precise, detailing, & comfortable! My fiancé & I shot with him for about 2 hours at Patina Creek and the pictures turned out phenomenal! The quality of the photos are so natural and clear! 10/10 recommend! :) -

Ashley Sent on 06/09/2018This man is awesome!! Him and his son did a wonderful job at me and my husband’s beach wedding at The Dock’s Beach House in Port Clinton Ohio. He was easy to get a hold of and he was very reasonable in price. I would love to hire him down the road to get some anniversary shots of us and the family :)

My wife and I were really excited to work with Aaron. Communication was slow leading up to our wedding day.
Aaron had an error between two contracts and went to a wedding 2.5 hours away from ours by mistake. He was not going to make it in time for our ceremony by his admission. He agreed to a full refund and we have all cellphone pictures from our wedding day.
Fast forward a month later and the promised refund has still not be issued. Despite that we were told twice that it had been initiated. In the most recent communication it was also made out to be our fault this happened.
We were completely will to let the whole thing go as ‘’mistakes happen’ until the unprofessional way were we treated over the last month since the wedding and the failure to issue the promised and deserved refund. User beware! Especially do not pay in full as we did. You may just be out a lot of money. -

Hired Parriott to shoot my wedding in September with photo and videography. Up front Aaron was responsive and easy to get ahold of. After our wedding though has been a complete nightmare. The majority of photos he took were below average at best with out of focus shots and crooked angles. Not one picture of my wife and I kissing at the altar was taken. Some photos were decent enough and needed minor editing but he has yet to do that which is supposed to be included. As far as the video, I have yet to receive it and believe it to be lost, destroyed, or never attempted. I have tried to get in touch with Aaron multiple times over the last 4-5 months through various emails, texts, and phone calls to get this resolved but he already has my money so I doubt a response will be forthcoming anytime soon or at all for that matter. Hope this review is a clear warning to anyone considering Parriott Creative Photography for their big day and to steer clear. He may be more affordable than most but trust me, even with that you do not get what you pay for. You will not get the memory you're trying to capture. As for Aaron... If you see this I doubt you'll get back to me as per usual but unless you treat all your clients like this you know who I am and you know how to reach me. -

Liar Liar Pants on Fire
I was a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding this past July. She hired this photographer A YEAR before her wedding. She paid him in full up front. There was supposed to be a planning session before the wedding but she never heard back from him until the day before the wedding. He came to the rehersal, instructed us on where to stand in the church, where to stop in the aisle, and told my friend he would see her at the salon in the morning (he told her he would be there at 8am) to photograph us getting ready. At 7:50 he called her and told her that he had a family emergency in Toledo and would not be at the salon but he was sending another photographer that he works with, and he would be back at 1pm to take pictures of the guys, and then be at the ceremony. Not exactly what any of us wanted to hear but things happen and she (the bride) was very understanding. When the "other photographer" got there we were all talking to her, just making small talk, and we asked her how many weddings she had done with him and she said none...we were all confused and of course told her that he said they had worked together and she said no he had hired her in February, paid her X amount of dollars (which was half of the fee that he charged my friend) and told her that he had double booked himself but he would be editing her photos. She also said that he told her he would not be there at all. So we finished getting our hair and makeup done, the substitute photographer left to go photograph the guys getting ready and there wasn't a photographer there to take pictures while myself, my friend, and the rest of the bridesmaids were getting dressed. She was understandably upset and sent him a message asking him when he was getting there (at this time he didn't know that she knew what he had done). He apologized and said he was not going to make it. So she let him know that she knew what he did and that she was upset. His response to her was "I'm sorry you feel that way". So fast forward to after the wedding, my friend contacted the substitute photographer and asked if she could have her pictures because he just kept telling her that he was still editing them, even though he had posted photos of events that were after hers. The substitute photographer told her that he had contacted her and told her that per their contract she was not to release any photos to my friend or share them on social media. The photographer took that contract to her lawyer and asked if that was correct (which it was). The lawyer contacted my friend and told her what was going on, he also asked for a copy of the contract that she signed with him when she booked him. He told her that he's clearly done this before because he knew to make the contract very loose. So lawyer contacts Mr. Parriott and lets him know that my friend has retained legal representation, and that he needs to send the photographs to him when he is done editing them. So fast forward to this week, over two months after my friend's wedding, and Mr. Parriott sent her photos to the lawyer. They look horrible. None of them are edited. My phone takes better pictures than what she got. He didnt even send ALL of the photos. The sub photographer took pictures of me giving her a special gift at the salon and there are no pictures of that. She also took pictures of just my friend and I at the reception and none of those were included either. All in all it was a horrible experience that could have been avoided. All he had to do was let her know ahead of time that he had double booked himself (which we later found out wasnt the truth either) and she would have had time to find a different photographer. She deserved better. -
