Excellent Quality and a Great Spot
Park Inn was a great spot to host our reception. Being in the military and out of town for most of the planning process they worked with us when we had to change the date, and plan everything by phone. Jessica was attentive and listened to all of our needs. We weren't able to decorate the hall ourselves but I sent a few pictures of what I wanted and she put everything together perfectly. I would highly recommend Park Inn. The Ballroom was beautiful and in a downtown location it was perfect for all of our out of town guests.Park Inn by Radisson Toledo's reply:

Tierra Sent on 10/01/2017Had my wedding there and loved every bit of the process! My planning process was a little less than 2years (we booked feb.2016) and I felt appreciated each and every time we met and/or contacted the coordinators and staff. The wedding day was amazing and EVERY roadblock that occurred, we later found out that the coordinator Peter and the awesome staff swiftly fixed without hesitation! We were not bothered and they did not add any stress during the process or the actual wedding day. My husband and I truly appreciated their services and completely loved every moment there. We were treated nothing less than royalty and I thanks them for that awesome experience! Also their suites were amazing and had an awesome view of downtown Toledo!

Katya Sent on 04/25/2016We initially landed with Park Inn because of its proximity to our ceremony location (Fifth Third Field). In theory, guests would be able to come into town and walk everywhere they needed during the course of the weekend. Worst case with possible weather, everything was within a couple blocks of one another. In reality, all of those logistics tumbled out perfectly.
Our main contact was Samantha and there could not have been a better fit for us to work with. She was upbeat, friendly, professional and helpful from the moment I got on the phone with her. Need more rooms? Done. Want different cheese on the mac? No problem. Need candle votifs? I'll see what we have. Can we make cinnamon rolls? Yes we can. You don't want a head table? Cool. Top to bottom, all around an absolute joy to work with. For me, since I live in Texas and was having the wedding in Ohio, getting along with the vendors was king. Sam and crew - Lori, Billy, everyone at the front desk during our weekend including Mary and I believe Ruth?, Tony, etc. - were smiling and seemed genuinely happy for our marriage. And I loved that.
The reception hall was great. Plenty of room, awesome lighting, all the sounds were good. Food was top notch - ribs, bratwurst and especially the mac got rave reviews. An added bonus was that many of our guests also utilized the Presidential Suite we rented all weekend. This maxmized the time everyone was able to spend together and all enjoyed the balcony views of the Maumee River. Many of the guests' rooms faced the Toledo Mudhens ballpark, and in my opinion there's not much better to look at than that.
Dream wedding and dream weekend. Thanks Park Inn.

User2619819 Sent on 05/24/2016We were really happy with the Park Inn. The staff was always responsive, and we loved having a wedding in Downtown Toledo. We received compliments on the food, and everything appeared to go seamlessly. We also really enjoyed our stay in the Presidential Suite! -

Laura Sent on 08/10/2009The park inn Toledo is beautiful. Everyone said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Also included was a suite for that night and also a suite on your anniversary the next year. Definitely would recommend them! -

User2748625 Sent on 08/30/2016There was only one major problem and it was out of the hands of the staff. The A/C went out a few days before the wedding, and the Event Planner and Director of Sales bent over backwards to find a backup space if we wanted it (we chose not to), worked overtime to get some A/C working & rented a chiller, and even refunded some money for the event and the rooms because of the inconvenience/slight discomfort. In the end, it was very beautiful and only slightly uncomfortable temperature-wise.

So I will start off with the things that went very well. All of my guests raved over the food. The waiters/waitresses did AMAZING. Everyone talked about how polite and attentive they were. The venue was very clean and overall was just beautiful.
Now what did not go so well. They changed wedding coordinators like half way through our wedding planning and I had sent numerous emails and finally had to call to get ahold of someone. No one ever mentioned this until I called.
Our meetings leading up to the wedding went well, but then our wedding day came and that’s when I began to get pretty frustrated. The communication between the front desk and the wedding coordinator/business office was terrible. The wedding coordinator did not attend our rehearsal which is fine but definitely made our wedding day pretty stressful for me (the bride).
So, I had hair and make up start at 8am and we had conference rooms booked from 8am-5pm. Yes, we paid extra for these as well. When we tried to get into our conference rooms we did not know which ones were booked and the wedding coordinator was no where to be found. When we asked the front desk about this they looked at me with blank stares. They quickly fixed this problem and got us into the room. Then when they showed us where the groomsmen were getting ready it was literally right next to the bridesmaids and bride. Now, I don’t know what bride and groom would request this but the wedding coordinator made sure to tell my mom that this is what we requested (we never requested this). Finally, the wedding coordinator arrived at 11am. Then they opened up the doors for dinner and she had not even put table numbers on the tables. So our wedding guests did not know where they were going to be seated. We discussed how tables would be numbered at our final meeting with her and then again, I got blank stares. I was just over it and told them to sit wherever.
So basically some things went very well and others not so much. Still the best day of my life!
