Our story with getting married at the Park Hyatt is unique. The basics and five star review below, but to further impress upon anyone looking at the Park Hyatt and Kevin O'Rourke for their wedding, I hope hearing about our experience tips your scales. I self planned with Kevin and my father. We were all beyond excited, my father more than any of us. 10 days before the wedding, my father suffered a massive heart attack. Life changed in that moment and I couldn't even think about the wedding, let alone if I could go through with it. Kevin and the Park Hyatt handled our situation beautifully. They accommodated all possible scenarios, never made myself, family, or guests feel worried about payments and cancellations. We did have family members who ended up being unable to attend the wedding due to my father's health and the hotel took care of their cancellations and never made us feel like we had any obligation other than caring for our family and our emotional state. In the end, we knew that my dad would want the wedding to go on. Kevin was amazing about helping us get everything finalized onsite and making the event extra special, while also acknowledging the trauma we were all facing. When my father saw the pictures he was overjoyed. He passed away not long after, and I can never thank Kevin and the Park Hyatt enough for making some of his last memories so special.

We got married at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek in August, 2017. The venue was suggested by my father and when we visited it, we fell in love. Working with Kevin O'Rourke and the events team at the Park Hyatt was a dream come true. I do plenty of events for work, and Kevin is just a rock star. I'm a typical type A bride, and Kevin handled my panic and neurosis with charm, whit, and grace. He never made me feel like a burden! The wedding turned out to be more beautiful, seamless, and special than we could have imagined which is ALL attributed to Kevin and the Park Hyatt.

Megan Hoguh and the entire staff at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek bent over backwards to make my wedding a success. My husband and I wanted a mountain wedding (we live in San Francisco) and found this to be the perfect location with it's rustic-chic decor and high-end amenities. All weekend, the staff all know who we were and greeted/ congratulated us at every turn, we felt like royalty.

The chef onsite is awesome, the tasting was with him directly and super fun, same with the baker- our wedding cake was delicious! We opted for the dinner option that allowed each guest to order their main course from a menu of 4 items, it was a really nice touch and everyone seemed to really love it! The local and seasonal menu options were fantastic!

Megan and I had a lot of meetings leading up to the wedding, she even met directly with my florist (Caitlyn and Vintage Magnolia) to coordinate both of their efforts for the day. Megan was always very responsive and open to all of my pie in the sky ideas.

We also did our Bride's Brunch at PHBC in the private dining room of their restaurant, 8100. Megan coordinated everything for that as well from the crep and egg stations, to the DIY bloody mary and mimosa bar, to the flowers and music. She even made sure to have a TV brought in so the guests could watch the Broncos game in the billiards room during and after the brunch after a child broke the TV that is usually in that area the day before.

I have already become friends with Megan on Facebook because you can't help but fall in love her!

My husband and I also plan to go back to PHBC for many anniversaries to come!

Megan Hough, event planner at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, is exceptional in every way. My daughter's wedding was perfect--our guests were thrilled with the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and following day brunch. Because we were planning our wedding from Ohio--I was very worried about how we would be able to have the type of wedding my daughter and I envisioned from so far away. Megan assured us that she could handle every aspect of the wedding--and she and her team delivered. Megan's suggestions were all exactly what we envisioned. I wish there was a rating system to adequately describe our experience with Megan and the Park Hyatt--five stars are not enough--I would have to say that a perfect 10 on all aspects would be a more accurate rating.

Everything that the Park Hyatt was hired to do for the reception was perfect thanks to Megan Hough who was the event Sales Event Manager! Megan answered all our questions promptly and managed her responsibilities for the reception like a PRO. She helped us with all the planning of the reception from start to finish. Whatever was promised was done! The Wedding cake from chef Jackie was perfect!
The dinner reception was definitely done to our expectations plus++. Can't thank Megan Hough and the staff at Park Hyatt enough!

I can't thank the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek staff enough for helping to make the 2015 Beaver Creek Microbrew Festival a success! At the last minute we had to move our event indoors and the staff went far above and beyond and worked countless additional hours to put on a world class event!

Megan Hough, Tom Puntel and Shanna Sweeneykonka were instrumental in pre-planning for the event and making the quick switch happen without a hitch. Shanna was an amazing contact for our brewers and couldn't have picked a better band!

So many people on the Hyatt team stepped up to the plate to help us pull off this 1000 person event. I hope I don't miss anyone that worked event setup, worked during the event or helped break down, but I really want to thank Reinier, Garrett, Dan Mahan, Edward, Casey, Moussa, Pam, Soule, Paola, Kathy, Curtis, Chef Jackie, Chef Mitch, Chef Dani and Chef Christian. You are an amazing group of hard working people that truly own each and every event you do! CHEERS!

We had a small wedding which sometimes can be more problematic that when a large wedding crowd is gathered. Two of the guests do not eat meat and three did not drink alcohol. Megan and crew MORE than accommodated us, giving us lots of selections of food and drink to satisfy everyone, including sparking cider for the toasts. Additionally, Megan in planning and presentation, and Paiola and our server during the reception were so attentive to our needs. Our family could not have enjoyed a better venue and service than what we had at the Hyatt! Bravo!!

I cannot say enough about the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek. They made our overall wedding experience truly special. I am from Nashville and the majority of our out of town guests stayed at the Park Hyatt and were visiting the area for the first time. The location is perfect and the resort is so warm and welcoming. Megan Hough and her team went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and stress-free. Every request that we had was accommodated immediately. My guests have mentioned how lovely their stay was and how friendly the staff were.

We held our rehearsal dinner at the 8100 Mountainside Bar and Grill in the hotel. The food was fabulous and the ambiance was romantic and beautiful. We had several unique requests that Megan and her team made happen for us. They worked with us to set up the room just how we wanted it and made sure it was perfect. The wait staff was also excellent and made sure our guests were taken care of.

On wedding day, we took several pictures in the lobby of the hotel and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. In addition, the housekeeping staff even brought extra stools and chairs to my room for hair and makeup preparation for the bride and bridesmaids.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek to any bride or for any occasion. The staff is wonderful and the event staff can make all your wedding dreams come true. They certainly did for me.

Megan Hough was wonderful! She was very responsive to us. We live in Boston, so she had to work extra hard with us. The events we had were excellent! We had rehersal dinner. Wedding. Brunch. We were happy with all three

It was easy to be hands off with this experienced catering crew. They made set up easy and provided a great service to our guests.

Megan Hough and The Park Hyatt gave us a beautiful wedding weekend! The whole process went smoothly and the weekend was so relaxing and stress free thanks to all their hard work. The wedding and the day after brunch were better then we ever expected and I wouldn't of changed a thing! All of our guests were so impressed by everything from the dinner, cake and everything in between!

Everyone (Megan and all the servers) were so pleasant to work with. Megan always emailed or called us back when we needed anything. I received so many compliments on the servers being so nice to our guest. So many compliments about the food and beautiful hotel.

Megan, the event sales manager, at the Beaver Creek Hyatt was amazing. She is a delightful person to work with and very organized. Megan is very efficient, knowledgeable and all about customer service. The event went off without any problems, the food was excellent, and the staff exceptional. It is a beautiful location! I highly recommend the Hyatt at Beaver Creek for your wedding and event needs!

All I can say is WOW, what a wedding! We also heard this from so many of our friends and family. Thanks to Megan Hough and her staff at the Park Hyatt our wedding was an absolute dream.

I will start off with the venue. We selected the 8100 Private Dining Room because of the room's unique character and rustic (but elegant) appeal. The space has room for ~90 guests with a dance floor and it was the perfect size.

Megan was so wonderful to work with and we couldn't have pulled the day off without her! She made sure that everything was perfect down to the last detail. We also cannot talk highly enough about the wait staff, chef and pastry chef. The wait staff made everyone feel as if they were celebrities and were so kind and accommodating. The food was out of this world, literally the best food I have ever had. The chef even worked with us to create a customized menu with a Wasabi crusted Filet. Now onto the cake, oh my gosh. I have never seen a more beautiful cake! Yes, I may be biased, but the intricacy of the icing was so beautiful and elegant. Not to mention, it tasted delicious.

Like I said before, our wedding was a fairy tale and it could not have been more perfect!

A year ago we booked my daughter’s wedding at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and it was absolutely perfect in every sense. Megan Hough was incredible from start to finish and stopped at nothing to be sure we had a flawless wedding.
The venue is absolutely gorgeous and left a lot of our out of town guests speechless. I cannot think of a more perfect location to host a wedding. It would be hard to match the beauty of the mountain, the quaint village of Beaver Creek and the hospitality of the Park Hyatt Resort.
The food at the Park Hyatt is top-notch; Chef Mitch was a pleasure to work with, from the incredible tasting to the reception dinners, every detail was perfection. Many of our guests continue to rave to us about the dinner and how it was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The Park Hyatt also has an impressive pastry chef, the wedding cake she created was exactly what we had envisioned. The cake was absolutely stunning!
Wedding planning can be extremely stressful, but Megan handled every detail and every request beautifully! You can rest assured knowing that she will support you through every step of the process. Additionally, she flawlessly makes sure every detail is taken care of, from extensive agendas, overseeing menus, room set up to keeping the timeline perfect and I could go on and on. The service provided at the Park Hyatt is no less than what you would expect from a 5 star resort and they definitely delivered.
The entire experience was amazing and everything we had wanted for our daughter’s wedding! I cannot express my gratitude enough to Megan Hough, Chef Mitch and the staff at the Park Hyatt for the excellent service they provided!

My husband and I got married at the Park Hyatt in Beaver Creek about a month and a half ago and we could not have been more pleased with how the day turned out! We worked with Peach through the whole process and she was AWESOME to work with! We got married on the wedding lawn, had cocktail hour on McCoy's patio and our reception in the ballroom at the Park Hyatt. The day flowed so smoothly and the staff was very friendly! You will not regret getting married at the Park Hyatt!!

Staff was amazing. Our wedding turned out perfect. Could not have asked for anything more.

My bridesmaids and I got our hair and makeup done at the Park Hyatt's spa. They did a fantastic job! All of our hair and makeup looked beautiful ALL DAY LONG! The stylists are very nice and helpful, and they even gave me a gift (which I forgot to grab before I left the spa :() for choosing them. They even accommodated my one bridesmaid who at the last minute (literally... our appointment went till 11:45 and at 11:15 she made this decision) wanted her hair done too! Gorgeous spa, professional and very talented stylists... we would definitely recommend them! (And I will definitely be going back to their spa for all my needs while I'm in Vail or Beaver Creek)

Our wedding ceremony was on the lawn at the base of the mountain, cocktail hour on the patio of the 8100 restaurant and reception in the private dining space of the 8100 restaurant. We worked with several different employees from the time we booked the space to the actual wedding, but Christie was our contact at the time of the wedding and did a great job organizing everything. We had a total of 36 guests attend our wedding, so the restaurant space worked perfectly for us. I loved the decor, fireplace, chandeliers, and amount of space you get (patio, dining area, and billiards room). It had a lot more personality than a typical ballroom and the cost was substantially less. The food was amazing! They hired a new chef over the summer and his dishes are to die for - the menu tasting is one of our favorite planning memories. We wanted a dessert bar instead of a wedding cake and their pasty chef created cake pops specifically for us, along with other delicious treats. Everyone there really went above and beyond to make our day really special.

Megan was amazing. We chose the Hyatt because we knew she would do a great job!

We loved this venue! The 8100 room was gorgeous and perfect for our wedding size. The food provided for our sit down dinner was phenomenal. We received many compliments on the menu. The cake provided by the pastry chef was fabulous as well. We were very pleased! The Park a Hyatt provided everything we needed to make our wedding perfect!

We chose the Park Hyatt for its beautiful location, its convenience for our guests, and for the uniqueness and coziness of our reception space (the private dining room of 8100). We also had our ceremony there, on the lawn facing the mountain. We looked at 10+ other venues in Vail and Beaver Creek, and the Hyatt was the only one that had everything we were looking for.

The staff there, particularly Megan, were great to work with every step of the way. We felt that they were very upfront about information, policies, and fees, and they were flexible with almost everything we requested. I had a lot of questions for Megan during our planning process since I live out of state. Megan always took the time to give me all the info I needed.

On our wedding weekend Megan and all the staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. All our guests raved about the food. All weekend, the staff at the Hyatt recognized us and wishes us congratulations and took special care of us during our stay, which was really appreciated.

The Hyatt is not quite as expensive as some of the other wedding venues in the area, but we definitely felt that it was pricey. We of course expected to have a costly wedding since it was in Beaver Creek, but we also never wanted to feel like we were wasting money. Since all our guests (about 100) stayed at the hotel for the weekend on top of us paying for the wedding, we felt that we were giving a lot of business to the Hyatt - and therefore the extra costs, like a fee for each welcome bag to be delivered to guests, seemed unnecessary and annoying. Overall, though, we felt like it was a fairly good value.

We look forward to returning to the Park Hyatt for anniversaries and special occasions for years to come, and the hotel will always be very special to us thanks in large part to the great experience we had there for our wedding and the top notch service we have received from them!

We used the Park Hyatt for our client's lodging and home base when they were married last month in Beaver Creek. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and were especially pleasant during the course of the weekend with the various needs that arose. Meghan even customized our welcome bag s'mores kits with the couple's crest as a surprise! Theresa and Robert were especially helpful with lodging details, helping us get some last minute guest accommodations. This was the ideal lodging and gathering point for our client's weekend.
