The best bridal store on Long Island ! Gorgeous selection on dresses !

Hands down the best bridal store on Long Island ! The selection of gowns , one more beautiful than the next. The entire staff at Paradise Bridals was such a pleasure to work with. I purchased an Eve of Milady gown here. Christina the seamstress made my gown fit like a glove. It felt like it was custom made for me. Maria in tuxedoes is amazing ! Patty the manager is wonderful. Honestly every sales person in the store was absolutely amazing. I purchased my gown here , both mothers gowns were purchased here and the tuxedos were all rented here. Everything came in a timely manner. My entire experience with Paradise Bridals was stress free and lovely.

Great affordable selection, amazing service

Go to Paradise and see Matilde. Once she knew what I wanted she picked amazing gowns right up my alley it was so hard to choose! Amazing service, flexible hours. They helped me in the tail end of my search and were beyond accommodating. Matilde was personally available by cell phone answering any inquiries I had. She is fantastic.

I bought my wedding dress here 33 years ago. Now 33 years later, I told my future daughter-in-law to try them. She was so happy she did. All the ladies that work there are so warming and make you feel welcome in their store. You get a more personal touch there, as if your family. My daughter-in-law was extremely happy with the whole experience. I even found a dress to wear for my son's wedding. Matilda asked me what I like, so I told her my style and she picked a dress she knew I would love. She was right! Then Patty took my hollow hem, so I wouldn't have to pay extra in alterations. Cilia is a genus behind her sewing machine. I told her I didn't like the neck to be too high, so she worked her magic and my dress was created how I envisioned it. I wont lie, there were minor problems. That was until Tiffany came along with her superwoman cape and took all my worries away. She even gave me her cell phone number and made me a promise that she would take care of everything. I also had my three daughters get their bridesmaid dresses there too. Rosie & Vera were with my daughters throughout the whole experience. They are masters of their craft and did magic on my daughter's dresses. All three have different body shapes, but Rosie & Vera made them all look flawless. Make your appointment with Paradise Bridal, you wont be sorry. Tell them Roberta sent you!

I absolutely loved my wedding gown!!!!!! My experience at Paradise Bridals was wonderful!!!! I was treated like family. My consultant was Patty, and as other reviewers have posted she actually gave me her personal cell phone number and came in for my fittings on her days off. Mt alteration experience started out a little bumpy, looking back I do not fault the seamstress, I was a little difficult and I do not have the most positive body image. When I spoke to Patty about this, she said do not worry and without even telling me she surprised me and showed up for my fitting. My gown ended up perfect and I thank Celia and Vera for their patience and psychology classes they gave during my fittings. I highly recommend Paradise Bridals for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day.

My experience at Paradise Bridals was very special and completely without incident. My saleslady was Patty. She nailed my style. I think she knew me better than I know myself. Patty was always there to help with all my fittings and even gave me her personal cell phone number, I don't know if this is typical of all the staff at Paradise Bridals. I will say this, everyone there treated me and my family amazing. I can't say enough about my very special and wonderful experience. Thank you to Patty and all the nice ladies. and one real nice man I think his name is Richard, for your help and dedication to my wedding.

Everything about my experience was above and beyond amazing! I couldn’t find my dream lazaro dress anywhere and I called Paradise and they had it. I was so excited and I ran right there to see it. Patty greeted me with a hug and brought me to the dress. It was amazing but way over budget, Patty tried everything to find a dress I would love that was in my budget. I ended up going with the lazaro because nothing compared. Patty was there every step of the way! She came in on her days off to be with me during my fittings. I actually cried saying goodbye to her. You will not be disappointed!!

Let me start by saying I was a very nervous bride, I shopped for bridal gowns for over a year, visiting for than 20 bridal salons. I was very reluctant to commit to a gown always thinking there was something better out there or a better "DEAL" at another bridal shop. I visited Paradise Bridals over 2 years prior to my wedding, The service was wonderful, the gowns were beautiful the prices were great, but I just was not ready to take the plunge and order a gown. I called Paradise Bridals countless times looking for particular style numbers of gowns that I had tried on at other shops, I was on a strict budget and needed to get the best price. While I was calling Paradise, I was also calling every other store on Long Island. The difference with Paradise Bridals is that they called me back, they answered my questions and tried to help me. I finally purchased my bridal gown in July of 2016 for my November 2017 wedding. I never regretted my decision. My heartfelt thanks go out to Patty for her unending kindness and patience. I called her on a daily basis and she never ever waivered. Matilda for always remembering my name and her hugs and encouragement. Cyndy for helping me find the perfect veil. Connie for helping my Mom and Grandma find their beautiful gowns, and for helping my Mom think out of the box and making my her feel beautiful. We purchased everything for our November 3rd wedding at Paradise Bridals. We strolled in to Paradise Bridals almost 2 years ago on freezing Sunday morning. We had a long wait for a table to have breakfast. The men waited and the girls took a walk down to Paradise Bridals. We were just killing time. Never did I expect to find the gown of my dreams. I was warmly greeted by Patty and Cherise. I will never forget how cold it was that day. They were just getting the store opened and invited us in to sit and warm up. I told Patty that we were waiting for a table at Toast and we were just looking. She said that's ok come on in and browse. I had never been to Paradise Bridals and had no idea how big this store is. It does not look big from the front. I have lived in Patchogue my whole life, but never went there. I ended up buying my bridal gown on that zero degree Sunday. We went to Breakfast and ended up back at Paradise Bridals.
I am so happy with my decision. I received so many compliments on my wedding day. My gown was everything I ever wanted and I did not expect to find it right under my nose in my hometown. I consider myself very fortunate to have stumbled into Paradise that day. Patty ended up being my bridal consultant. She helped me every step of the way. I highly recommend Paradise Bridals in my good old hometown of Patchogue!!!

Overall experience was wonderful!!! I would highly recommend Paradise Bridals. This is a busy bridal salon, so be prepared to have a bit of a wait tie for alterations. Vera is amazing, a genuinely kind and wonderful lady. She listened to all my concerns and completely made me feel confident that everything would be perfect. Sure enough it was. She addressed every issue I had, and believe me there were plenty. I lost about 25 pounds from when I purchased the gown until my first alteration. So there was plenty of work to be done. I was completely happy with the finished gown!!! I highly recommend Vera and Paradise Bridals.

Finding the perfect dress is the most important thing to any bride. When I called to make my appointment they asked what type of styles I would like. This was my first time trying on dresses so I already had my mind set that I wasn't going to commit to anything during my appointment. Patty, our saleswoman, nailed my style immediately! She pulled a handful of dresses that met everything that I was looking for. The 4th dress I tried I had that "this is the one!" moment. I hear nightmare stories of girls trying on hundreds of dresses and not finding the perfect dress. Luckily, Patty had me all figured out and it was such a wonderful experience. My dress was ordered in December, came in mid August and I started my fittings in October. The dress I ordered was the sample size that fit perfect when I bought it. Well, almost 10 months later and 43lbs lost, my dress was quite big when I started the alteration process. Maria was my seamstress and I can't praise her enough! It did take a few visits to get it right but that's only because my dress was all satin, VERY heavy and needed to fit perfect so the weight of it didn't pull the top down. Maria altered my dress perfectly and I received so many compliments on how nice it fit. Both Patty and Maria went above and beyond and because of them I felt so beautiful on my wedding day!

Paradise helped me to find the perfect wedding gown 5 years ago. Rosie, Peter, Rosalie the seamstress and Jo from tuxedos all chipped in to make me feel so special! I love this store! Everything went perfect! I still use this store for all my party dress and gown needs and the same employees still exist there which tells you something about a buisness! They are so friendly and accommodation is just an every day thing they do. Always willing to work around you. I see that there are some bad feelings from people about paradise and I'm so sorry to see that because if you just speak to them maybe sit down with someone to discuss an issue that you're not happy about, I think between them explaining whats going on in your specific case and allowing them a chance to make it right I honestly believe you would be happy too! Most people also only review when they have a bad experience so if you are someone reading this and are worried because of that I would say go in there with a clear mind and make judgemental influence of your own and not others because you might miss out on a wonderful experience. I have worked with so many of the girls there including Cherise, Lolita, Patty, Tiffany, Marge ect.aybe ask for one of them if you are having any trouble. I'm sure they would help you. God bless

I went in for an Allure Trunk show at the end of March 2015 for a dress I thought I was in love with. As I walked in with my daughter, we were assigned Debbie as our consultant. I told her the dress I wanted to try on again for the 6th time (tried as several different places). She pulled the dress out along with other similar ones according to my wants. As she was looking for others, my daughter an I spotted one on a Mannequin, I immediately knew that could of been the one. I looked at the price, slightly over my budget but asked to try that one on. I told Debbie that I wanted to try it on first. When I walked out, my daughter had the biggest smile and when I looked in the mirror I couldn't believe how beautiful it looked on me. I fell in love and asked my daughter her opinion; she loved it too. Debbie put on a veil and I envisioned myself walking down the isle. I said "Yes to the Dress". Debbie was very nice, listened to me and gave me her opinions as well. Very tentative and professional. I ordered my dress, and still received the promo they were offering for the trunk show even though I chose a Casa Blanca. So far I have had a great experience. Will keep you updated.

I got married on 10/31/2014 in the 1st dress I fell in love with. Charisse found it for me to try on and I immediately fell in love. Being a big girl, its hard to find sample dresses to try on, but Paradise Brides had many options for me to try. I ended up purchasing a Amelia Carrara dress. Maria (the best seamstress) perfected an already perfect dress.

I LOVE my wedding dress... and Rosie in alterations in an angel! She really made my wedding special by custom making my very special veil and making it even more special!

After a few weeks of ripping out dresses, amongst other things, from bridal magazines...I went through the dresses I found. Turns out I ripped out the same dress more than once on different models, etc. I couldn't find the dress anywhere local. Most places said they didn't carry it and that was it. Then I spoke to the sweetest woman named Cherise at Paradise Bridal. She arranged for me to rent the dress from the designer for the weekend and have it shipped out for me to try on. (I didn't even know this type of thing was done.) To make a long story short, I put on the dress, cried and that was it. It was beyond what I could have dreamed of and was the only dress I ever tried on. If it wasn't for Cherise at Paradise Bridal who thought "out of the box" that day, I wouldn't have had the wedding gown of my dreams. She was great and kept me updated on everything and was so patient. I can't review Paradise's alterations as I already have someone that I swear by that did them.

I had a great experience with Paradise Bridal. I wasn't expecting to find my dress when I went there on, but I ended up finding the dress of my dreams. I worked with Stephanie and she was amazing! She is sweet and so easy to talk to. She listens to you and is truly passionate about what she does. Choosing the perfect dress can be overwhelming with so many choices, but Stephanie must be a mind reader. She choose my dress before I could even tell her what I was looking for. I have been back several times to see Stephanie to ask questions and she has always been so personable and professional. Now for alterations, Maria is the go to seamstress. Her work is flawless! She noticed things that needed tweaking before I did. I definitely recommend asking for her when having alterations done. Stephanie and Marie made my experience at Paradise Bridal 5 star.

Paradise bridals was an experience I'll never forget. It was completely wonderful. They are a little over priced though, but they are all nice. Donna was my consultant and can u believe, it was the first dress she grabbed that stole my heart! Not even an hour, and i was done! All the women there were all so nice and helpfull. The day before my wedding, i had a dilema with my veil which i did not purchase at the store. It had not been pressed and it was pretty late. I'm sorry that i do not remember her name, but i do know that she is in charge of putting the jewelry together with the gowns. She was on her way out when she heard about my problem and she decided to help me and pressed my veil for me. Its the small things in life that matter, and you have no idea how much that meant to me. I will forever be thankful to the women there. Also, there gowns are gorgeous!!!

I met Danielle at a bridal showcase and she was so nice that I had to go to her place. The people there were so nice and the variety was amazing. Danielle picked out exactly what I wanted. She went on maternity leave and after that I dealt with a lot of different people but I didn't mind because they were all nice. I ordered my veil from there and it was discontinued so the quickly found me another one that went great with my dress. They were very accomodating.

I have not one bad thing to say about Paradise Bridals. I am so happy with my decision to purchase my wedding gown here. Barbara was so sweet and helped me find “the one”. Everyone agreed that it was the perfect dress for me.
The whole staff was helpful and caring throughout the entire process. Even though I did not need major alterations done, the seamstress did a terrific job. There were never any problems and I never had any concerns. I also purchased my veil and headpiece here and they were absolutely stunning.

As a plus size bride dress shopping was a daunting task! The ladies there took such great care of me! The dress was BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait to TRASH IT!!

I purchased my bridal gown from Paradise Bridals and the whole experience was great. Patty W. helped me pick my dress. She chose a dress for me that I would have never chosen in my wildest dreams and it turned out to be "THE ONE". You can tell she was genuine and not just trying to make a sale. i tried on many other dresses that were WAY more expensive than my dress and never once did she push me towards the others. I got a terrific price for my dress. I had no problems with my fittings or alterations. Anytime I called for anything, they were always so helpful.

I had my dress custom made by Celia the seamstress there, the dress was absolutly beautiful! The whole staff worked with me to make sure I got exactly what I envisioned! Highly recommended! Excellent prices

I had gone to many shops to find the perfect wedding gown and when I walked into Paradise and met Lolita I knew I had found the place that I would do business with. She was extremely nice and catering to my every need. She didn't try to sell me but instead spent the time listening to what I needed. 2 dresses later I was in the dress of my dreams. She worked very well with me on the price and made the whole experience very easy. When my dress came in there were a few problems but not because of Paradise or their employees but just common wedding dress issues. The seamstress Maria was extremely nice and reassured me several times that my dress would be exactly as I imagined. The staff was very nice and even as I am still working with them as my wedding is two weeks away they are very professional and helpful. I will recommend them to any future brides. We got all our bridesmaid dresses and tuxes here it was a wonderful experience and continues to be.

They were very easy going in the store, helped me find the pefect peice that looks great on me and had the piece when they said they would! My piece was a bit pricey but i got complimets all day for it and it was definetly worth it!!I would highly recommend working with them.

Art Deco Dress

Such beautiful dresses! After searching for way too long, I finally found my perfect dress at Paradise Bridals in Bellport, NY. The girls here were always so helpful and Christina (the seamstress was such a sweetheart), she made my dress exactly what I wanted. I can't thank them enough for the help the gave and what a personable shopping experience I had. Christina also did my mom's dress and my MOH. All came out gorgeous! I would highly recommend this shop. The prices are reasonable and they will work with your schedule to make it work for you!

Best Bridal Store

I already had a dress prior to coming here but was unhappy with it. I was running out of time and Donna was amazing and found the dress of my dreams and seamstress Aileen did an awesome job. My dress fit me perfect for my wedding and I was sooo very happy with all the staff there. I luv Paradise Bridals and I highly recommend them to others.

My sister had bought her dress here 4 years ago and working with Stephanie was such an enjoyable and fun experience that 4 years later I went back and requested Stephanie for myself. She makes your whole experience fun and stress free. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she knew exactly what to put me in. She is so knowledgable and had me try on everything that I wanted so I had zero regrets. I wound up purchasing the first dress I tried on and I can't wait to go back for my fittings. All their staff is welcoming and great.

I bought my wedding gown from Paradise and this is also where my mother bought her dress. We had already ordered the bridesmaids dress at another location months prior to my mom and I looking. As for my dress, OMG, it was everything I wanted! My mom and I saw it and just knew it had everything I was looking for. This shop had SO much to choose from. It was the 3rd store I went looking at and it ended up being the final one. The woman who helped me find my dress, I believe her name was Constance maybe, she was a pleasure to work with. Then Rosie worked with me to pick out my veil and jewelry, again, so sweet and patient with me and gave me beautiful options. I took a little away for quality of service because I wasn't completely happy with the woman who ran the desks. I felt like they were kind of rude and not so pleasant to work with. They are also a very busy place and usually pretty booked when it came to appointments. The seamstress was very nice and did exactly what I asked her to do. My moms dressed looked stunning as well and came out beautiful. We also rented the guys tuxs from there as well. My dad's was a bit of an issue with sizing but everyone else seemed to be ok. Thank you to Paradise for all you help and for making me feel beautiful that day.

I had a great experience with Paradise Bridals. Marge helped me find my beautiful dress and she was great. My alterations were great also. A little unorganized about calling me to let me know the dress was in, but Rose makes up for it with her great personality and attention to the bride, she got me in right away and made me a priority. I was very pleased with the services of Paradise Bridal. We had a large wedding party (8 bridesmaids and 2 flower girls) plus the bridal gown, all from Paradise. Wonderful staff .Beautiful wedding gowns!! ..My daughter and I went to this salon while deciding last minute that we would go start to get an idea on styles.... By no means were-we about to purchase a gown...stopped in without an Appt. The woman at the front desk was so sweet and kind, she went to get us a bridal consultant and asked us to have a seat for a moment .... our consultant introduced herself and started talking with us about style, reception, and everything to do with planning the wedding . My daughter was already convinced she was going to find her dress . She felt so comfortable with her .. well after 2 hrs I must say our trip of not intending to buy just changed. The selection there is amazing !!!! Everyone is so genuinely nice and caring .they are like a family making u feel so welcomed ....the afternoon was a wonderful experience there. Thank you for being a part of my daughter's wedding planning ....

Wonderful staff--expecially Donna--who actually picked out my wedding gown for me! I went in with my pre-conceived notion of what my dress should look like, and she chose one that was everything I didn't ask for and asked me to try it anyway, because she thought it would be perfect for me! Why not? I did, and she was right it was a beautiful dress that looked like it was made especially for me! No need to go anywhere else! I also got my bridesmaids dresses there, and they have no problems. I would not however recommend them for tuxedos, as they are overpriced compared to the competition--try Roger's Tuxedos instead!

Be careful when they are measuring you! They measured me wrong and ordered a dress too small...They did fix it for no more $ than the alteration cap.

Matilda sold me my dress, she knew EXACTLY what i was looking for, i fell in love with the first one she pulled for me. She was personable, kind and helpful.
My dress came in roughly 10 months later (they told me this prior to ordering and it was way before my wedding date). Unfortunately the length was too long and bottom was see through (didnt know this when buying it) as it was an issue with the dressmaker. Patty and Matilda worked hard to make sure that the designer fixed the problem for me and at no cost to me. They certainly did right by me and i couldnt be happier. Thank you guys, i cant wait to wear my dress on my big day!

I still had over a year before my wedding date and wasn't even planning on getting a dress just yet. Paradise Bridals was having a trunk show for David Tutera and I was interested in trying on some dresses to get a better idea of what style I wanted. I made my appointment with Donna and my mom, sister, and cousin came with me. Little did I know I would find MY dress. Donna was amazing in knowing just what style fit me the best. I put my deposit down and was THRILLED. After I left I came across some pretty negative reviews of Paradise Bridals and I became nervous. I should have never doubted them. I just went this morning and picked up my dress and it's perfect. Anyone I ever spoke to was always professional, courteous, and pleasant. From Donna, to Cherise, to Patty, they were all amazing. I wanted to go out of my way to write a positive review after reading about all of the negative experiences some people had. I would go back 100 times over. My mom passed away this past July and knowing that she saw me in my dress and that it came in perfect means the world to me. I cannot thank Paradise Bridals enough, I couldn't hold back the tears as I picked up my dress today.

I purchased my bridal gown at Paradise bridals back in September 2013. From the minute I walked
into the store I was greeted at the front desk and was asked if I had an appointment. I did not have
an appt. I just stopped in while dress shopping with my mom for our special day out together. I was
given a consultant who treated me so kind and listened to every detail I had wanted for my gown. I had been to two other shops right before I came to Paradise. I must say with all the negative comments that are out there ,this salon was absolutely the top in customer service and everyone treated me like a bride and not a sale.... I had no intention of buying my dress that day however I did
purchase my dress that day with confidence and I knew with the selection they have I was not going to find anything elsewhere... My gown came in as promised in March and the wonderful customer service continued with my fittings.. My seamstress was amazing and put the final touches on my gown . Yes I did have to wait a little while for my appt, one night but like going to the doctors office if someone before you throughout the day is running late then everyone gets pushed back a bit... When all said and done my wedding dress was beautiful and I would reccommend Paradise Bridals to every bride out there looking for their dream dress...Their selection is amazing!!

I ordered my dress from here without reading reviews as they were the only place willing to order a loaner Maggie Sottero dress for me that I could not find anywhere. Cherisse was very accommodating from day one and was a pleasure to work with. When the loaner came in and I tried it on, I knew without any hesitations that it was my dress. I ordered on the spot. When I got home I read reviews on Paradise Bridal and my heart dropped. Surprisingly, I had no issues at all with them. My dress came in within the time frame they told me and I was able to make alteration appointments with no problems. Rosalie was my seamstress and she did a wonderful job. The only thing I thought was absurd is she charged $20 to cut the strings of my corset (she told me the price after the strings were cut). When I made my final payment, I brought it up to the lady who seemed in shock but did confirm it with Rosalie. I hope everyone else has a good experience here like I did!

Stephanie helped me find my dress and she did a great job. I didn't really like any of the dresses that I tried on that I thought I had wanted. So she ended up having me try on a dress that she thought would look good on me, and I fell in love! I definitely recommend making an appointment with Stephanie to help you find your dress! I wasn't thrilled with the alterations department, but overall they were fine. I was just a little upset that my seamstress said my gown could only be bustled one way, which I later found out was wrong. And even when you make an appointment, sometimes they're really backed up and you end up waiting a long time.

Paradise Bridals was the second place I went looking for my dress. Vivian was my bridal consultant, and she was great! She let me choose a few dresses and once she saw what looked good on me and my style, she was able to pull beautiful dresses off the rack. It didn’t take long for me to find my perfect dress. She couldn’t be happier for me! She was not at all pushy and understood that I had other appointments before I bought the dress, but I knew I had found the one, thanks to Vivian! I did start to get a little worried as it got closer to my wedding, since I ordered my dress about 11 months ahead of time, and when I called 8 weeks before the wedding, my dress still wasn’t in. I dealt with a few rude people over the phone, but once I got in touch with manager Donna, everything went smoothly! My dress came in 6 weeks before the wedding, luckily didn’t need many alterations. But the woman who did my alterations, I’m sorry I can’t remember her name, was great. Overall I had a good experience, but they needed to be kept on top of about getting the dress into the store.

I purchased my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses at Paradise. While everything worked out in the end and I couldnt have been happier with my dress, the alterations, and my b-maids dresses...it was definitely a bumpy ride. First, my dress came in a month later than they originally told me. Not a big deal...because everything else was done on time...but it was frustrating going through it. Second, one of my girls ordered extra length for her gown because she is 5'11" - but it was still 4 inches too short when it came in. Now the shop was great in helping fix this problem (I sent them the dress, told them how much length needed to be added, and they took care of it all) but why give all those measurements if not to get it right the first time?

This is based on my experience with Paradise Bridal thus far. My wedding is in 7 months and I intend to update this review in the future.
I first went to Paradise Bridal in July of 2014 (16 months before wedding date) I had no intention to buy at that time being that it was so early. Although I didn't have an appointment they set me up with a consultant that was very helpful. After trying on about 5 dresses I fell head over heels for a dress my Maid of Honor spotted( it wasn't a dress the consultant pulled). I didn't purchase it that day but the consultant said she would note it in my file for when I came back. I went back several months later(12 months before wedding) with family and a couple bridesmaids, ready to buy my dress. Since so much time had passed I was sure the dress I loved would be gone. When I arrived Charisse said that the computer showed it hadn't been sold but that she couldn't find it. However I could try on other dresses while she searched. After putting on 3 dresses she said she still couldn't find it. One of the 3 dresses I tried on was becoming a possible alternative until my Maid of Honor took it upon herself to look for my original dress and somehow found it. I put it on and fell in love all over again. Charisse also found a veil that matched the dress and I received a discount on the veil through a promotion they had from attending a showcase. My bridesmaids also picked out their dresses that same day. As of now all of my bridesmaids have been measured and dress orders have been placed and I am awaiting my dress to come in which they said should be in November or December. So far my experience with Paradise Bridal are very pleasant and I hope it stays that way.

After visiting several Bridal Shops and doing the whole Kleinfelds shopping experience (waste of time very over priced) I was refereed to Paradise by a coworker who had purchased her gown from there. In June we visited Paradise on the quest for the perfect dress
We were greeted by Donna, who immediately knew what type of dress I was interested in after a brief conversation. After trying on several gowns I fell in LOVE with one that she choose, an Allure and way below my original price point. The gown was ordered in June!
August and it is time to do the Bridesmaids, ugh! Wish there was one dress that everyone loved, not happening. So after advice from Paradise I decided to let the women choose there individual gown and all had to be in same color Bill Levkoff, Primrose. Now comes the sizing, 2 of my attendants did have to pay an additional fee because of there size $50.00 and that seemed a bit high.
Fast forward to yesterday 1/29 and I had my first fitting. Dress did come in a little small and was tight. My seamstress Maria, who is a sweetheart, had me take the gown off and come back in an hour so that she could release it to fit. After an hour we returned and had to wait a bit because there was already another fitting in session. When it was time for me once again to try my gown on, PERFECT all I require is a hem, price seems a bit high $175.00.
I did try to schedule my bridesmaids fittings last night but they advised that it was to soon and will do a fitting them until 4 weeks before before the wedding which does make it a little difficult since 2 of my attendants are form out of town.

Review: Would Highly recommend

I did read some of the other post and being in retail myself I realize that you cannot make everyone happy all of the time, also people tend to only review when they are unhappy with services. Good deeds and service always go unrecognized.

I loved my dress! The dress finding process was easy and my lady was awesome. She really listened to what I wanted and found me my dress! Their alterations are great very attentive, just be aware they charge for each bustle which can add up. At times the waiting process to get to alterations was long and disorganized but lets be real they are dealing with a lot of brides its understandable. They do great work.

My dress was amazing! I had a great experience with Paradise Bridal. Because I came in on a very slow, rainy night, I had the entire salon to myself. I was treated like a princess the first time I came in. I ordered the dress on the spot. I really loved it and loved my sales associate.

The next few times I came in, they weren't so nice. All of the other ladies besides my sales associate were a little snooty and seemed bothered by me, for some reason.

Other than that, I was very happy with everything. Perhaps, I was extremely lucky to have Fanny as my sales associate because she was absolutely flawless! Their prices seemed quite fair and competitive. A!

I called Paradise because I saw online that they carried Jasmine bridal gowns and there was a specific style I was looking at online. When I called to see if they had it in stock, I was told that specific one wasn't there but they had ones just like it. Stephanie did not rush me off the phone like some previous bridal salons did, and spent a lot of time telling me that there were various dresses and she was sure she could help me find my wedding dress. She was extremely personable and answered all of my questions thoroughly on the phone. I honestly couldn't wait to get down there to look at some gowns! After trying on three gowns, I said yes to the dress. It was exact opposite style of dress I thought I originally wanted…but it was absolutely perfect. Stephanie really knows her stuff and going along with her suggestion to just let her pick something out for me for my body type was the best decision I made. My dress was a Maggie Sotero strapless dress. I did not want strapless at all. I was having a winter wedding and also am not the biggest fan of how I look without sleeves. She called the dress the "shell," and basically said that we could build up from there. We purchased extra lace from the designer and the seamstress at Paradise built up on my dress. The seamstress created sleeves and an illusion top with a boatneck. It also had a corset back, but I wanted a more vintage look. The corset was removed and buttons were put on in its place. Not only was my dress beyond BEAUTIFUL, it was an original. It was created just for me and was made exactly how I had envisioned my wedding gown to look. I ended up going quite a bit over my budget but it was absolutely worth it. I have never felt more beautiful in anything and the compliments I received from family, to friends, to strangers- are still coming in. I was nothing but happy in the end with my gown.

Not sure why someone would go through these steps to try to ruin the reputation of such a professional and courteous business.
My experience has been Wonderful, they went above and beyond any customer service I have ever experienced. Long story short after purchasing my Wedding Dress with Donna, a sample dress and 3 sizes to big since I did not have enough time to order the correct size. Rosalie the Bridal Seamstress was magical in her ways in altering my dress to fit me perfectly. I must admit I was a little skeptical at first about trusting there services after reading some of the reviews. When questioning Donna about them she not only reassured me but was truthful in letting me know that when you do over a 1000 Bridal Gowns a year it is impossible to make everyone happy, some people are just miserable no matter how much effort is put into accommodating them. Also the owners of Paradise refuse to pay to remove negative online reviews like most other Bridal Salons.

I LOVED MY DRESS. The day of my wedding everything about it was perfect. It fit wonderfully and the bustle (11points) held together for the entire day. We also got the bridesmaid dresses there and they too looked wonderful the day of the wedding. The service/alteration end of the business is a little difficult to deal with. It seems that they are much more flexible with bridal then bridesmaid gowns. It was difficult to get an appointment with them and they were usually late when it came time for your appointment. I would recommend them for your bridal gown but you may want to look elsewhere for your bridesmaids.The good thing (and what made us order from there) is that if you get your bridal gown there, they offer 10% off the bridesmaids dresses.

Got my bridesmaids dresses here. Selection was good but it took forever for the dresses to come in. Ordered them in December and they didn't come in until the last week of August. Otherwise was pretty good.

I actually had a decent experience here. The only problem was the tailoring in terms of timing. I wasn't stressed out at all until my first fitting. I felt nervous and was anxious to get into my dress but this family of like 20 took the store 2 hours to get to me. I was VERY upset that they didn't acknowledge me at all until then. Needless to say, after that i made sure they saw me. Also, when getting your dress altered there, request Maria. Shes amazing and made my dress perfect. The price is great to!

They have a wide range of beautiful dresses to choose from. Beware that they are very busy and alterations tend to take much longer than expected. The seamstress are very hard working and do their best to get it all done on time.

They did the Suits for the Men. All went well -- we went in July 2 and some items had to be returned but they were ready for pick up the next day July 3.

I will start by saying that my dress was everything I wanted. I first went in and Cindy helped me. She was amazing. I didn’t personally have any issues with them besides the long waits every time I went in and nobody really acknowledging me being there. My bridesmaids felt the same way.
My mom ordered her dress from here in the beginning of January. When she called in July to find out about her dress, they said it would come in second week of September. My wedding was third week of September. They said they would accommodate her right away for alterations and they didn’t. She went somewhere else and her dress ended up being perfect. But it was a hassle.
For the groomsmen and fathers, the suits weren’t really sized right. My husband had to get a new size overnighted which is hard on the nerves. My dad needed a bigger vest, two of the men needed different sizes also.
So I will say overall that I myself had a good experience there but the people in my bridal party really didn’t. Their hours also are not great.

I loved my dress and everything was perfect without any alterations! I had a bit of trouble arranging a viewing proir to my fitting but aside from that everything with my dress was perfect. My mother had trouble with her dress, after being told that they could take a strapless dress and add tank style straps when ordering the women in alterations refused to make the changes.

I chose Paradise Bridal for my first dress shopping experience solely because it was close to my mom (about an hour away from me) and because they carried the designer I was in love with. My first shopping experience was mostly great. They didn't have the dress I had seen online that I loved, but they showed me lots of other great ones. When I fell in love with a dress that had sleeves, but didn't like the sleeves, they immediately said they could take the sleeves off for me to make my dream dress. I felt my dress was affordable (around $1000), though I found that their accessories (particularly my veil and alterations) were more costly. It wasn't until about 6 months before my wedding, when I told my friend that I had bought my dress at Paradise and she said "uh oh, I haven't heard great things about that place," that I panicked. I went online to read all these reviews and panicked some more. But I really can't complain much about the alterations process. Rosie was fantastic at my first fitting, and when I came back for my second fitting, the dress fit nearly perfectly - it only needed to be taken in another inch. I did not have the experience that other brides said they had - that their first alterations had never been made, or that their dress didn't come in on time. The one issue I did have was scheduling of the alterations. As other brides mentioned, they only do alterations on some Saturdays, and that's only during their "busy season." I got married in the winter, and they don't do ANY alterations on weekends during the winter. My first fitting was on a Saturday, but I was forced to take a day off of work for my second fitting (since I live in NYC), and when it was time for my final fitting the week before my wedding, they had no flexibility. They offer that they are open late on some weekdays, but since I live in the city, that didn't help me any. I wound up coming in on a Saturday and crossing my fingers that it fit right, which it did.

we bought both bridal gowns here:
L- I expected to have a bad experience here. I went in thinking “I am only getting their price on this dress and then leaving!!!” Well, a great price led to a change of heart… but each time I thought “today’s the day they will mess up” (I had a bad experience there with a bridesmaid dress years ago). Although they took my hollow to hem measurement 3 times… and came up with a different one each time…. This was an easy fix when the dress came in too long. -- Higher shoes (as expected). Other than that, I really had a good experience at Paradise! Hint- order your dress for a month before your actual wedding!
M- I, also, was hesitant about paradise bridal based on things I’d read and heard about other brides/bridesmaids experiences. I had found a dress I really loved at another store and was pleased to find essentially the same dress for HALF the price at Paradise (it had POCKETS!)- my attendant was Stephanie and she was super helpful and very pleasant to work with. The dress I chose was somewhat plain so she assisted me in finding a “belt” detail that worked with the design and could be sewn on. I found the rest of the staff to be helpful throughout the process but over the phone they were dishonest, confused and impatient. The seamstress, Maria, was incredibly sweet but ended up screwing up while sewing on the belt ultimately making my dress SMALLER (she cut the belt fabric too short and had to compensate by tightening the dress)- a detail that could’ve potentially DESTROYED our wedding. I am not a big girl so this was a definite set-back… but thankfully, nothing a pair of spanx couldn’t fix.

The lady that ended up helping me find "The Dress" was awesome. She even gave me a discount on my dress. They made you feel like you were the only person in the store until... it was dress fitting time. OMG! Ok so the seamstress was nice, English wasn't very good hard to understand her. I had a 1 and 2 o'clock appointment for my bridesmaid and maid of honor and my appointment was at 5 (that was all they had) well my two bridesmaid dresses were the wrong color and one dress was ordered to have extra length and did not come with extra length 2 weeks before my wedding! i was FREAKING OUT!!!! but in the end they pulled threw and fixed all the mistakes that were made. My dress was gorgeous a little more expensive then i was anticipating. When i was waiting for my appointment at 5 i noticed they just started to hem my dress.. my appointment before that was 2 weeks prior so i don't get why they would do it right before you get there even though i was there all day and watched them do it too i ended up waiting an extra hour and a half while they worked on my dress while i was there watching them do it (They get you with fitting and hemming charges!) Other then the mix-ups they were very good.

I have heard so many negative things about Paradise Bridals that I was very reluctant to go there. After having gone to six other wedding dress places on Long Island, I figured I might as well look one afternoon in Paradise Bridals since it happens to be the closest place to my house. I never expected to find my wedding dress there. The dress was a beautiful Paloma Blanca gown. I fell in love. The saleswoman Patti took her time with me and was very patient. My initial interaction was completely positive. The dress was out of my price range, but after having been to seven other places I was done. They did work with me on the price, so far so good. My problem came when they told me when my dress would arrive. I ordered it 14 months before my wedding. I was told it would arrive in February 2014. When I called in February they told me definitely next month. When I called April 1st they said it should be in the next shipment. I felt like I was being jerked around. I also picked out a belt and was told a note of it would be made it my file and that when the dress came in they would pull the belt for me so I could see the two together. I did not want to buy a $300 belt without seeing it with my gown. When I asked to see the belt the saleswoman pulled something completely different. I thought she wrote it down???? They seemed very disorganized and I was nervous about my dress coming in on time. My dress did arrive in time and everything worked out in the end, but the added stress of them not really knowing when dresses would arrive didn't sit well with me. I also had a friend go there for bridesmaid dress alterations. She went to the seamstress for 7 different fittings. I am glad I took my wedding gown somewhere else for alterations.

Quality of Service: The consultant I had and the alterations manager were very very helpful. In terms of service, my consultant actually was the one who found my wedding dress for me haha, i didn't even want to try it on and just did for the heck of it and it ended up being my dress. Now the quality of the dress was gorgeous. I know every bride loves their wedding dress, but I got SOOO many compliments on my dress it was amazing haha, every bead, every crystal was in place, a few stings here and there that should have been cut during alterations, but it fit me like a glove too. When i say i am tiny, i mean it. I am 5'4 but i only weigh like 100 pounds and have a very small figure. The had to order me the smallest size AND still take off about an inch on both sides, but they did an amazing job and it was perfect.

Responsiveness: they were very good at responding to my calls and also to my emails when asking questions about when my dress would come in, cost of alterations, etc. However, the only thing is they could never give me a exact date on when it should come in and also, even though i ordered the dress in August of the previous year, my dress did not come in until 5 weeks before the wedding in June. I know it's kinda standard for a custom cut dress but they should have been able to at least give me a time frame on when the dress was coming in.

Professionalism: They were very professional on helping me not only find the dress, but also with the alterations and with giving me updates and setting up appointments.

Value: Don't come here unless you want to spend at least 1,000 or more. I went completely above my budget haha, the dress was worth it don't get me wrong, but this is not like a davids bridal shop, these are all DESIGNER gowns and they have the prices of them. However i think i got a deal because my dress was pretty different and intricate and i ended up paying just a little under 2,000 with alterations. Not too bad.

Flexibility: The only real con i ever had was their flexibility issues. When it came to getting the dress fitted, i explained to numerous people that i was out of state and living in pa at the time and couldn't just hop in the car to a 4 hr car ride to get a half an hr dress fitting on their schedule. I was also attending college at the time. This bridal shop only has fittings on tuesdays and thursday . . . thats it. So guess what? If you can't take off of school or work or take a long car ride on a tuesday or thursday you're f*cked. I tried to get them to make an exception, i pulled any string i could and they still wouldn't budge for me which made me getting my dress fitted very frustrating and difficult.

They had a hard time making and keeping fitting appointments with me. But MArge was able to get me my dress at a discount then other stores I went to so I was happy with it.
The place itself could use a face-lift, it felt a little depressing trying on a gown for the most important day of my life when the floors were chipping away and the 80's decor.

I would say don't bother with this place. They have very reasonably priced dresses but they will kill you on the alterations. My dress was not complicated (no lace or intricacies, straight satin hem) and only required a hem, cups, bussle, and the straps to be pulled up and it was almost half the price of my dress. The customer service is very good. All of the women are really nice so if you do find a dress there, just look out for the alteration costs.

I stopped in after a show i had been to.I was told if I ordeered a dress there I would get a free tuxedo.After i looked around i actually found a dress that i liked after some alterations that I thought were great MY actual dress came to life. the tuxedo was on the other hand none existant they said that i must have misunderstood but they would discount a tux for me at a good price...The price was not good i got the tuxedo at mens wearhouse...I wouldnt reccomend this store because...I got a good price but after all the alterations and 10 dollaars a point(which i think means button or bustle the price starts goin up up up...then there are the appointments that take wayyyyy toooo long and the ones they wont schedule or over schedule or re-schedule....thankfully all our gowns(me and 3 bridesmaids) all turned out fine BUT we ordered our gowns in FEb...they didnt come in till may..and i was gettin married in july...AND the dresses were sooo long and heavy...someone there should have said "well maybe you should rethink these gowns they r for winter weddings"HELLLOOOO I dont know these thing these r their jobs...Really shoyuld have shopped around but ...I got my dress and all ended well...happy hunting ladies!!!
PS..Staff was very nice although completely overwelmed they need to hire more people,make sunday appts. and ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!!!

Overall, I had a very positive experience with Paradise Bridal. I did not go in thinking I was going to find "my dress" but I did. They were the only Bridal store that listened to exactly what I was looking for in a dress. I loved my dress and my veil and was very happy that I found them at Paradise Bridal, it was close and made going for fitting very easy. Being that we got married in the first week of July the alterations ladies were swamped. Every appointment I had the time was changed to be later. Be flexible and patient and these ladies will take care of you. Rosie was great! My dress was fit perfectly. The day of my "final" fitting I arrived and my dress was way too big and needed more alterations. They were made and I picked up my dress two days later. I was very happy with my overall experience with Paradise Bridal and would recommend them to others.

Overall my gown was amazing, the woman who sold my mom and I the dress and veil was lovely but by far the best was Tina the seamstress. I believe that when you are in the same business for awhile you forget that this isn't something girls do every day so repeating or explaining prior is important. Especially when I happened to find this place on a fluke and its 2 and a half hours away from home (in rush hour).
Please know for your first fitting you have to have the rest of the money in cash. They probably mentioned this to me when I made the appointment but with so many other things going on the last thing you are thinking is to have a lot of cash on you.
No one tells you prior that dress fittings - is not one- I had to have 4. Also the seamstress during the months leading to my wedding are only in one day a week. I may have either bought the dress there and got alterations closer or found a closer location that may have had the dress. 2 and a half hour drives 4 times after work or leaving work early is hard.
It's the small things- the last time I went the bathroom was out of order - I drove 5 hours in total and was there for an hour before getting home!
Then for pick up my mom and sister were picking it up for me. Paradise bridal told us Thursday (before the wedding) at 3 pm. My sister and mom arrived and the dress and veil weren't even pressed yet.
As I said the dress was amazing - overall experience wasn't the best- know that going in and all should be okay.

I was not happy with my experience at Paradise Bridal. My consultant did not listen very attentively to my taste and picked dresses in the silhouette she thought looked good on me. Despite my reservations, I tried on these dresses and did not care for many. I wasn't opposed to trying on different looks, but after voicing my opinion she continued pulling ballgowns. I would not recommend this salon and searched elsewhere for my dress.

I had a great experience picking out my wedding gown with the help of Stephanie C. She was patient, had such an upbeat personality and maintained a level of professionalism that you would expect when choosing the most important dress of your life. I live out of state and was told that they could accommodate my schedule for fittings when I was in town over the weekends leading up to the wedding. Every time I tried to schedule a Saturday fitting, I had to jump through hoops to get an appointment and was often told “no, we don’t do fittings on the weekends”. The seamstresses were gruff, but I chalked that up to the fact that their strength was sewing and not customer service. My dress required very few alterations and when I went to pick up my gown I was surprised to see several loose strings and a dress that was visibly wrinkled. I certainly wasn’t expecting a “Say Yes To The Dress” experience, but the lack of professionalism that I received during the alteration process at Paradise makes me hesitant to recommend them as a vendor.
