Leslie and her staff were wonderful from start to finish. They were patient, kind and took the time to help us not only with the stationary, but also appropriate wording and etiquette for our invitations, thank you notes and wedding website. The store is lovely and their selection of stationary is beautiful and extensive. A lovely shop and a lovely experience from start to finish. -
User1246861 Sent on 07/18/2013We LOVED our invitations! We couldn't have asked for anything more perfect!! We have gotten so many complements on them!
They are so willing to work with a budget, while still maintaining the same quality. We had to cut our original budget in half, and Lesley made two quick changes to our invitations and in about 5 minutes we were able to cut it in half. (And I liked the second version better than the first!)
Our experience was a memorable one with an end result that far exceeded our expectations! We look forward to working with you again in the future!!

Meagan Sent on 09/21/2011Invitations were the second thing on our list of wedding to-do's (after the venue, of course) and I'm SO glad we went with Papier Girl. I was very familiar with downtown Naperville growing up, but had never stepped into the store until it was time to plan my wedding. It's such a sweet and professional setting, definitely some where I felt comfortable purchasing such an expensive wedding investment.
Leslie, the owner, has her own line of stationary called "Sentiments," which is what we ended up choosing. They were so elegant, but full of flair at the same time - exactly what I was looking for!
The proofing process was quick and simple and the turn-around time was fantastic (considering we needed them in under a month due to a short engagement). When we received the invitations I was completely in love! The quality is great. You definitely get what you pay for!
My mother and I worked with Lori to design the invitations as well as table numbers and everything was absolutely perfect. We loved working with Lori and Leslie at Papier Girl and will definitely be using their awesome services again when it's time for another big event! -

Gabriela Sent on 09/24/2011When I stepped foot in papier girl I fel lin love with one of their sample wedding invitations. Lori was a such a pleasure to work with so friendly evertytime you went in and answered emails and phone calls promptly. Invitations are expensive but what can you do but you do get what you paid for! My wedding invitations were stunning when I picked them up I was so excited! an most of my responses everyoen wrote a little side not of how beautiful the invitations looked! thank you lori and leslie for helping in the weddign invitation process! -

From our initial meeting to the Save The Dates being mailed to us, she gave us phenomenal service and paid attention to every detail. Her creativity and knowledge helped us create the most beautiful Save The Dates and I was so proud to send them out to our family and friends. We received countless compliments on them and get so excited when we see them hanging up on our guests' fridges and cork boards! Thank you Lesley for all your design ideas and beautiful products! You did a wonderful job creating exactly what we envisioned and fitting our budget. Can't wait to design our ceremony programs together! :)

Abbie Sent on 07/09/2016Our wedding invitations were gorgeous. Papier Girl was very accomodating to let us have an invitation appointment the weekend after Thanksgiving. The store is adorable and Lesley was very professional, friendly, and knowledgable about her products. They carry several different brands of invitations in their store and we ended up going with one from Tag & Company. We were able to get thermography and do the invitations in black and gold to match our wedding colors. We customized the invitation wording, the reply card wording, an accomodations card, and a rehearsal dinner invitation all in one appointment. They then send you a proof which you can edit as many times as needed to get the correct spelling, wording, feeling etc. When our invitations arrived from IL all the way in CA where we live they were in perfect shape. We had a small snafu in which the invitations that arrived were on a paper slightly too large for the envelopes and Papier Girl handled the re-ordering and sent us an entirely new set for free extremely quickly. You definitely pay a little more by going through a physical store rather than purchasing your invitations online, but having professional help with designing exactly what you want was totally worth it! We would definitely recommend Papier Girl for all your wedding paper needs!Papier Girl's reply:

User968757 Sent on 10/11/2012Our invitation experience here was mixed. We ordered special order invites. It was two weeks before we were going to send out our invites and we were told the color paper we order was on back order for two months. Had I not called and asked what was going on it would have taken even longer to find out!! I know it was out of their control that their supplier was out, but someone should have contacted me to tell me. Same thing happened with a credit I was owed because the paper I chose was cheaper than the one we originally ordered. We loved working with the people there because everyone was so friendly. We spent a lot of money on our invites and unfortunately didn't get exactly what we wanted.

User854748 Sent on 07/07/2012We had gone to Papier Girl to make our invitation process easier, well that was not the case. We had multiple problems working with Papier Girl. After recieving our first proofs, we had a few changes that we requested be made before we approved them for printing- not only did we deal with 3-4 different people during the process for our requests of changes to be made but each time not all of the changes were made. This delayed the process, which pushed back us being able to mail the invitations on time. Also the responsiveness of the shop are terrible- as the customer I had to call several times to check on the status of our invitations. There was a backorder on the type of invitation that we order, which delayed the delivery, so you would have thought the responsible thing to do would have been to call your customer, but that was not the case.
When I picked up the invitations- I noticed that one of the changes that we requested to be made had not been, which was very annoying because I had an email response confirming that it would be changed before they printed. They also had a backorder of 10 invitation, so we didn't receive our complete order and had to go back another time to pick them up. Also all the invitations were wrapped up when I picked them up- so I was only able to review one proof that they had kept out for me. I noticed on the proof that the invitation and response card looked a little miss printed (almost a blurry effect on the font)- but the store attendant assurred me that the rest of the invitations that were wrapped up were fine and that sometimes there will be one or two miss prints in the batch. Well that was not the case- when I got home, over half of the response cards and accomidation cards were miss printed and several of the invitations as well. Given the price that we paid- I was furious. When we called to inform the store- the store attendant diminshed our complaints saying that these were "minor" issues. So much for the customer always being right.
When we finally brought in the product so the store owner could see the poor quality product, she did agree that it was not right and offered to reprint them. But because the process had took so long and was delayed- we did not have enough time to reprint all the invitations, so they only reprinted the ones that were poor quality. Which they STILL messed up. But because we were at our deadline of when to send them out- they went out as is.
The only thing they offered in compensation was to print our thank you cards for free- which still took several weeks and us reaching out to them multiple times for a proof.
The invitations are the first impression that your guests have of your wedding, and Papier Girl made it one of the worst experiences of our wedding. In the end the ones that did turn out right looked beautiful- but out of 120 invites there was probably 25% of them that were right. Given the price we paid for the invitaitons- this was unacceptable and very disappointing. We would not recommend using them for your invitations.
