My daughter needed escort cards, thank you cards, table # cards, and place cards for her wedding, and we only had 2 weeks until the wedding. McKenzie at Paper Tie Affair responded immediately and was able to quickly get my daughter proofs. We approved them, and shipping was very fast. They were beautiful, and we are forever grateful! -

McKenzie is the sweetest and so talented! She was easy to work with and I felt like she really cared about making the perfect wedding invitations to reflect our personalities and theme. The customization was so perfect! We went back and forth on formatting and font style with our names just to get the proportion right. They turned out so great and we received so many compliments! Thank you SO much!! I would highly recommend your team of professionals. -

McKenzie at Paper Tie Affair was amazing to work with. She helped with everything from the vision of how we wanted our wedding to look and then how to execute it with all of our wedding paper. She was quick, responsive, had AMAZING suggestions, and the quality was top notch. I highly recommend using Paper Tie Affair!

I was recommended by a friend to use Mckenzie's services at Paper Tie Affair. At first, I was nervous because I am located in California and she is based in Texas. However, I am have been blown away! Mckenzie designed our invites and all our day of paper and I am so pleased with how everything turned out. I sent her some things I was gravitating towards and she was able to very quickly turn unique designs around that only required one round of edits max! As someone who works with designers to produce marketing pieces frequently that is pretty unheard of. And on top of it, she is the sweetest and so responsive. I am the third girl in our crew to use Paper Tie Affair for wedding needs and I can't wait for the next lucky couple to get engaged so we can send them to Mckenzie! -

Unique and great service
McKenzie did a great job from the beginning. I found her on Etsy and immediately contacted her about my interest in one of the invitation suites she had on her Etsy page. She sent me a complimentary sample of that suite. I chose to work with McKenzie and her team to create my wedding invites. They got it all exactly right! And were very patient with any changes that needed to be made to make the invites perfect! McKenzie even did the signs for my reception! I would definitively recommend Paparr Tie Affair if you want something unique and a personalized experience. Thank you McKenzie! -

I worked with Paper Tie Affair for both my custom invitation suite and day-of stationery. While the final products looked decent, my experience was unfortunately ruined by multiple significant errors and a lack of proactive guidance throughout the process.
The Good: The invitations looked good enough and had a nice aesthetic. For couples who aren't too particular about details, the basic product quality will do.
Areas for Improvement: I wish there had been more consultation during the design process. I would have appreciated being offered premium upgrade options like thicker cardstock or inner and outer envelopes to achieve the high-end look I was going for. More guidance on how to elevate the suite would have been helpful.
The Bad: Unfortunately, there were several errors that caused real problems:
-The wrong QR code was printed on my reply card.. Because it wasn't a dynamic QR code that could be updated, I had to personally text all my guests with the correct RSVP link. This was embarrassing and stressful. I received a $200 credit for this mistake.
-My day-of stationery was missing place cards for my husband and me, despite including them on the Excel sheet and calling them out in my email.
-The escort cards had inconsistent formatting. Numbers weren't justified properly, and longer names were made with smaller font sizes. While I didn't see the proof she sent via email,, I would expect a stationery professional to clearly communicate when using different font sizes rather than letting it go unnoticed. I can’t imagine many brides would want to go for this look. I had to pay for the escort cards to be redone.
-Most frustratingly, 500 custom cocktail napkins arrived in blue-green instead of the approved moss green from my proof. . .just 10 days before my wedding. The color was never flagged as different in the proof, and no solutions were offered. I had to order replacement napkins elsewhere to ensure everything matched. By the end, I spent $1,000 on paper napkins.
Throughout the process, there were numerous typos that required my constant attention-to-detail. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability when mistakes occurred, particularly those so close to my wedding date.
If you're looking for a vendor who will guide you through the process, catch their own errors, and take responsibility when things go wrong, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. This was my only difficult vendor experience.
