Beautiful elopement

Paniolo Ranch was the perfect place for our elopement!
Every detail was beautifully brought to life by Judy—from the stunning flowers to the delicious dinner, champagne toast, and of course, the cake. The elopement package included everything we needed, and it was exactly what we were looking for—simple, elegant, and stress-free.

We stayed at The Pineapple House, which offered the perfect amount of seclusion. The private hot tub was an amazing way to relax and unwind.

The entire property is breathtaking. The grounds are filled with vibrant flowers, fluttering butterflies, and thoughtful touches that make the space feel magical. Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement or a larger celebration, there are so many beautiful ceremony spots with stunning views throughout the ranch.

I highly recommend Paniolo Ranch for a wedding, anniversary celebration, or a peaceful getaway. It’s truly a hidden gem!

Perfect Hill Country Wedding!

Paniolo Ranch is a BEAUTIFUL location for a perfect hill country wedding! My husband and I got married at Paniolo Ranch in October 2022 and it was PERFECT!
The venue has a beautiful location for stunning hill country views for the ceremony. A nice open area for an outdoor cocktail hour. A very spacious reception area that held 100+ guests and a open dance floor! Paniolo Ranch also offered us a spacial and lovely bridal suite and grooms suite.
Not only was the venue perfect but what truly made it AMAZING was Hunter! We booked our venue in January of 2021. Between Jan 2021 to the day before our wedding in Oct 2022 Hunter was VERY communicative! It made our experience PERFECT! He also let us view the venue whenever we needed to! Which helps when trying to figure out decor, etc. I wish I could leave 100 stars for Paniolo Ranch! We loved it here! It made our wedding day PERFECT!

Paniolo went above and beyond!

The staff at Paniolo Ranch was incredible. They were able to accommodate 329 guests at my wedding. The team was extremely responsive and they went above and beyond to make our day special.

Choose Paniolo!

Paniolo Ranch was perfect for our wedding! The views were spectacular and made for amazing photos. HUGE shoutout to Hunter who helped us with our ceremony and reception. He was the nicest, most accommodating, and just insanely helpful. He did his best to help us with whatever he could and anytime we needed to contact him he was always immediately available. Judy, with the bed and breakfast side, was so sweet and easy to work with which made for a stress-free wedding weekend. We would recommend Paniolo Ranch to anyone!

Schorp Wedding

Paniolo ranch is a beautiful wedding venue and the staff is friendly and professional. This wedding venue is an excellent and unique choice for any couple! To say scenery is peaceful and breathtaking is an understatement. I especially liked the gardens near the ceremony area as there is a canopy of flowers that forms a tunnel which makes one of many beautiful photo opportunities. You and your bride would do well to choose this venue!

Beautiful property for our wedding

We had our wedding here about a month ago. Judy and her staff were very accommodating especially with me planning from out of state she was very patient with all my emails calls and questions and answered everything for me. We did the bells and banquets package which included basically everything (catering, floral, officiant, ceremony and reception space) except for photography and dj. I am so thankful to have gotten this package as it made planning from out of state so much less stressful. It included a buffet dinner with chicken shrimp pork and pasta and salad. It was honestly delicious and just as good if not better than if we would have hired an outside caterer! Judy also made the cake which was DELICIOUS! And let me tell you, if you book this package do not worry your wedding details are in great hands with Judy and her team. For one, Judy just has fantastic taste in decor, and really has an eye for rustic wedding aesthetics. She really made everything turn out beautiful. We also decided to book out the entire B&B for the weekend so that our wedding party and family could stay on property and make it easier for everyone. And of course I would be remiss if I didnt mention how breathtakingly beautiful the entire property is!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop to our special day.

A magical wedding

I had my wedding here November 10, 2018. I did the bells and banquets package and also had 24 of my close friends and family stay on the property so it was like a wedding weekend. It was amazing. Everything pretty much was taken care of for me. I sent her pictures of things I like and she created it for me. It was definitely an amazing experience. The only thing I wasn't 100% happy with was during my ceremony they were confused as to why the DJ had not switched to the bridal song yet and I said because that is my song and was told that it was fine because the ring bearer and flower girl enter right before me. So they made my DJ change the song to mine and they started the walk for them and I just followed. So it wasn't as special since they already started walking to that song. My DJ was waiting for the flower girl and then was going to change the song. I don't understand why that was done being the whole reason to change the song is to announce that it is now the bride entering but hey it happend. Everything else was awesome. Food was great and I had the time of my life. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a beautiful venue that also can accommodate some of their guests.

Paniolo Ranch was the perfect place to have our wedding. On our first visit we fell in love with the place, and knew we had to have our wedding there. The view, garden, ceremony, and reception area are all to die for. The team at Paniolo is incredibly professional and accommodating. I was planning my wedding on my own from a different city. Each time I emailed with questions I got a speedy response back with the answers I needed.

At the last minute we decided to add the photo booth and WOW! It was sooooo worth it!! People were lined up all night, and the booth ran smoothly. We received the best pictures complete with funny props to help us remember the night.

We stayed the night in the gorgeous bridal suite, and many of our guests booked rooms on the Ranch. Everyone commented on how nice the rooms were, and how impressed they were with the service. Many mentioned wanting to go back and stay there again.

I highly recommend Paniolo Ranch as your wedding venue.

We got married at Paniolo Ranch on May 27th, 2018. Judy, Hunter and entire staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout the stay. All the guest loved the venue and the staff. It was so beautiful inside and outside. My bridal party stayed at the ranch and everyone loved their rooms and service provided by Judy and the staff. The bridal suite is so spacious and view from the room is breathtaking.

Perfect Hill Country Wedding! My husband and I got married 10/29/2016. Being from the hill country we wanted something that reminded us of home and Paniolo Ranch was the perfect spot. The grounds are beautiful with lush flowers and greenery. Paniolo Ranch is a hidden gem. Guests were asking how did we find this place?!? and how much they loved the overlook and scenery. The grounds make for beautiful pictures with the waterfountain, the fire bowls, the lights... everything was perfect. The Bridal & Groom suite were great to get ready in. The Bridal suite is decorated so nice and really treat to get primped and ready in. Lots of room and really beautiful views also. Everything was taken care of by the wonderful staff. Judy and her team were so kind and helpful during our wedding journey and it such a memorable experience for us. Paniolo Ranch is perfect for ceremony and reception. We loved our experience! Thank you Judy and all at Paniolo Ranch for making our wedding the BEST DAY EVER!

My son married his best friend here this weekend. EVERYTHING was perfect. The owner and her staff were amazing. The property is beautiful. The food was delicious. I recently had My Wedding (Pappas Wedding April 4th, 205) at the Paniolo Ranch B&B Spa, and it was Amazing! I received so many positive compliments it truly made me feel so positive in my decision to choose this as my ceremony and reception Venue. What I loved was that it is an all in one package (if you choose) the guest didn't have to drive to different locations, and if they needed they even had a place to stay the night. Judy, Hunter and Karli (her team all family and close friends) were so sweet and helpful, they basically now feel like my extended family. If you are thinking about having your wedding or even just a weekend stay at the Bed and Breakfast I would say do not hesitate just choose the Ranch :)

I chose Paniolo Ranch as my wedding venue and had the most beautiful, perfect wedding that far exceeded my expectations! We selected the "Sweetest Nuptials" package because we wanted something small and intimate. We only visited the venue once prior to the wedding and met with Judy to go over some details and preferences. After that, I only emailed her a few times with pictures of bouquets and cakes I liked. I was a little nervous because I knew Judy handled both the flowers and the cake, as well as the photography. I was sure there was no way one person could do all of that and do it well. Well, let me assure you that I was wrong! Judy created the most beautiful bridal bouquet! It was far prettier than any of the Pinterest pictures I had sent her. The cake was also spectacular and tasted great! She also photographed the wedding ceremony, and although I have not seen all of those shots yet, I am very pleased with the ones I have seen! Judy is an incredibly talented woman, so do not doubt her for one second! She will make sure everything is beautiful and just as you had wanted. In addition to the flowers, cake, and photography, Judy also has painted a majority of the artwork hanging in the rooms there, and her paintings are incredible! After seeing how talented she is, I have a new goal to be like Judy when I grow up! She has also done an amazing job of making all of the rooms at the ranch comfortable, clean, and luxurious. We stayed in the bridal suite, which I would recommend for the honeymoon night. It has spectacular views, a Jacuzzi tub that overlooks the hills, an electric fireplace in the bedroom, and very romantic decor. I cannot say enough positive things about our wedding experience at Paniolo Ranch! I would do it all again in a heartbeat! We look forward to visiting for future anniversaries.

My wedding was 12.13.14. Weather was going to be our only concern since that makes it an indoor wedding instead of an outdoor. Judy made sure I had the best venue for my ceremony if it was in or out. Thankfully it was outside. Everything went perfect. Judy, her family & staff made the day seamless. I did not have a single BrideZilla moment & that is thanks to the work & efforts of Judy & her staff. I wouldn't change a thing & we are going back to enjoy a relaxing weekend soon.

My Husband and I tied the knot at the beautiful Paniolo Ranch on October 24th and it was a huge success. The number one question I received from my guests throughout the night was, "how did you find this place?" Everyone was floored at how beautiful the venue is, from the natural beauty of the Hill Country as a backdrop, to the beautiful on-site landscaping and stonework. When I was originally looking for our venue, I knew that I didn't want the themey barn wedding that has become so popular, instead a place that showcases Texas' beauty without being so literally "country". Paniolo is just this. It has just the perfect amount of rustic touches to go with the elegant furnishings and finishes. The pictures on the website won me over but even the pictures don't do this place justice. It is even more beautiful in person and we didn't look further after our first visit to Paniolo. One of my concerns about going with an outdoor ceremony was having to move inside if the weather didn't cooperate but the indoor venue's walls open up so that there is an outdoor feel if the ceremony has to take place indoors. I would have been equally happy with the ceremony, had that been the case. In fact we did have the walls pushed up during our reception and it was a big hit with our guests. They loved being able to move from indoor to outdoor while still being part of the reception. Judy and the team are extremely nice and were very accommodating to us. Our families also stayed at the houses on the ranch and they were all very nice, clean, and comfortable. They too are beautifully decorated. If you are considering Paniolo, please go see this place in person, you will not be disappointed. I'm so happy we did!

My now wife and I had a great wedding experience this past weekend at Paniolo Ranch in Boerne, TX. Eight months ago we were trying to decide where to have our ceremony. We live in Houston and most of our family is here. We originally thought we would only consider local options, but a friend from church suggested we look outside of Houston for a more original venue. Our friends mentioned that they stayed at the Bed and Breakfast portion of Paniolo Ranch and informed us that there was a gorgeous out door chapel. We checked out the web site and contacted the ranch to schedule an appointment. In addition to the chapel, they also have a reception hall on site that was perfect for our party.

We drove through Boerne on the way to the ranch and was impressed with the hills and surroundings. The atmosphere was very inviting. The venue was perfect! We instantly knew we wanted to have the wedding there. We had plenty of space and seating for the venue and reception hall. There was also enough space for parking.

We had our wedding last Sunday on June 8th. Everything was perfect and the facility looked great. My wife loved the bridal suite and I had just enough plenty of space in the grooms room. All the bathrooms were clean and it was like we were in a 5 star resort. If you are looking for an original place to get married or to have a great get away, call Hunter and Judy Kennell at the Paniolo Ranch. We will be going back there for future family outings.

We are a middle aged couple and found it to be overwhelming to find a location and package for our wedding...until we found Paniolo Ranch. From the moment we met with Judy, saw the venues offered and the various packages we were so relieved. We found our place. Not only is it a beautiful location but the personal hands on service provided by her and the staff is unbelievable. The décor, the food, the settings, all perfect. Paniolo Ranch met every expectation me and my now Husband were looking for. Judy who is the owner was very attentive to our every need. My husband and I tied the knot on this beautiful ranch. The scenery is breath taking! When we pulled up to see the venue for the first time I knew instantly it was the "place". My wedding day went smoothly and was just as I imagined. The wedding planner provided with the venue was extremely helpful and did most of the work. The honeymoon suite provided with the rental of the indoor reception room was amazing and romantic. Overall it was a great decision and I am very happy with my fairy tale wedding day!!!

My fiancé (now husband) and I were looking for intimate and stress-free wedding options, and Paniolo Ranch’s Lovers Only package had everything we wanted and more! Judy is a lovely and wonderful hostess! She worked closely with us prior to the wedding to make sure that we had everything we wanted for our wedding. She arranged for the officiant, bouquet, boutonnière, champagne, and even a delicious wedding cake! She also took pictures of our ceremony and created a professional picture album of our special day. Our perfect day ended with a romantic candlelight dinner with wine.

We stayed in the Pineapple House for two nights following our ceremony. It is so adorable! My husband and I loved the privacy and beautiful landscape. We loved looking at the starry sky from the outdoor hot tub every evening. Our mini-fridge was stocked with awesome breakfast options every day. We even had a basket of goodies waiting for us!

We were treated to one-hour massages during our stay in Paniolo Ranch’s spa. I was so impressed with the accommodations and care that we received in the spa! It was very peaceful and serene.

My husband and I cannot say enough about the awesome service and accommodations we received, and we are so excited about spending our future anniversaries there!

I highly recommend and hope to return one year for our anniversary. Our tiny Hill country wedding was perfect and stress free at Paniolo ranch. It was simple, beautiful, country, outdoorsy, and very private...exactly what we were looking for. Judy was very easy to work with. I highly recommend actually renting out all 4 cabins for you and your guests and not only just using the wedding venue, so that you have the entire property for yourselves and your guests all weekend. There are so many amazing places for photos, I wish I would have spent more time before the wedding planning out creative ideas to give to our hired photographer, but we were still able to get some pretty amazing shots. Judy actually snapped some of the best ones herself. The photo album she made from her shots was fantasic. If you are strictly a city girl, this may not be your venue, but if you love fresh clean air and a beautiful natural backdrop I highly recommend Paniolo Ranch.

Couldnt have asked for a better wedding site. Judy did EVERYTHING for us! All I had to do was find a dress and do the invitations! We had the most amazing weekend. She should be charging so much more for what she does! This place is a hidden gem!!!

Judy was very accommodating to our needs & wants for our ceremony & reception as we were having a small wedding with less than 20 guests with only about 2 months to plan. The Paniolo Ranch could not have been a better choice for us - the views, sunset, food and staff were all perfect and the night couldn't have been better. Judy & her staff were very helpful and kept the night moving along from photos to food to dancing and the cake & toast. I would highly recommend this venue to anybody looking for an outside wedding location or just a getaway.

Our small wedding here was absolutely beautiful. There is honestly not a bad view anywhere on this ranch. Every picture had such a beautiful, natural, breathtaking backdrop. Judy and staff have mastered the art of being right there and making sure everything is taken care of, but at the same time, making you feel like they are not there and giving you complete privacy. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a secluded Texas Hill Country destination wedding. From the location, to the staff, to the rooms, to the food, to the spa services, to the peace and quiet, everything was just perfect. Me and my new husband really didn't want to leave when it was time to check out. Thank you so much Paniolo Ranch!!!

It's awesome when I think about the most beautiful and enjoyable wedding I've ever attended, that it was in fact my own wedding at Paniolo Ranch. From the appearance of the well-kept grounds (which were spotless), I kept forgetting we were actually outdoors - and the scenery wasn't just some fantastic mural! I was very impressed at the superb quality of the equipment, supplies, and accommodations... even the restrooms were so nice, I took pictures.

I DJed at this venue for the first time and was blown away by the helpfulness and responsiveness of the staff. They were there right upon my arrival to point me to the right spot for set-up. The grounds were beautiful and hill-country scenery terrific. And worth the drive!

I got married at Paniolo Ranch on 10/1/16.

We fell in love with this venue after looking at tons of pictures online. We actually didn’t see the venue in person before booking it. (We saw it for the first time on our wedding day!) I had a lot of conversations with Judy (the venue owner) and had my MOH tour it, since she lives in TX. She loved it, so we booked it. Still…I had so many reservations and spent a lot of time worrying about this, since I was leaving so much in their hands.

Luckily all of my worries were COMPLETELY unnecessary. I cannot recommend this venue enough.

Of course, the venue itself is absolutely perfect. It’s breathtaking, serene, and has stunning views. The landscaping is impeccable.

We went with a "modified" Aloha Package - the venue was kind enough to work with us since we had such a small group. As part of the package, they provided the reception dinner and a hosted breakfast the next morning. Both were delicious and the service was great. They even kindly accommodated some last minute dietary preferences. All of our guests stayed in the on-site rooms and they were all very happy with their accommodations. All of the rooms were luxurious and well maintained - a couple of the guesthouses even had hot tubs! The Paniolo staff constantly checked in and made sure to take care of our every need.

Everyone that works there is awesome and SO on top of it - they thought of things I missed, pretty much took care of all of the decor (with only vague instructions from me), and kept us stress-free and on time the day of.

Basically, it’s the staff that really makes this place as wonderful as it is. A HUGE thank you to Judy and C'Ne...you helped to make our wedding day perfect in every way.

My husband and I got married at Paniolo Ranch on 10/08/16 and it was absolutely amazing! The venue itself is one of a kind, with all of the elements of an elegant, outdoor, hill country wedding incorporated. The staff was extremely helpful and super flexible with us! We also had our wedding party and some of our family stay out at the venue in the B&B's. They we're all impressed by houses and happy to be staying at the location. Be sure to read the contract over and ask any questions about it before signing. It helps alleviate any confusion, they were very helpful and it made everything go smoothly. They were very accommodating to our needs we had a large group for the wedding and we also rented out the majority of the rooms at the B&B my guest loved it and said they had a great time. The staff was very professional especially my coordinator she did an excellent job of make sure my crowd transitioned from one event to the next smoothly. The venue has views to die for and an amazing vibe a great time was had by all!

What a beautiful place for a wedding...from the rehersal dinner on Friday night to the Wedding & Reception on Saturday evening/night. We were able to book the entire ranch for the whole weekend so the entire wedding party never had to leave. We selected the "I Did it My Way" & the "Aloha" packages and we were extremely happy with everything. Judy & Hunter did an excellent job. All the guests raved about what a beautiful wedding and the setting could not have been more perfect.

My husband and I got married here this past April, and everything was beautiful. We had them provide essentially an all-inclusive wedding for us. We stayed on the property for the weekend and rented all the accommodations for ourselves and about twenty of our family. On Friday night the ranch provided our rehearsal dinner, which was a simple yet elegant pasta dinner with appetizer, salad, main course and dessert.

The wedding was Saturday evening in the outdoor wedding venue. We lucked out, because the roses were blooming on the arbor walkway and my brother walked me through it and then down the aisle to my groom. The rose-covered arbor was also a wonderful backdrop for some of our wedding photos. For the reception we chose to have a broad assortment of heavy appetizers, and our guests seemed to enjoy everything.

The venue was beautiful, the staff at Paniolo did an excellent joy of organizing everything. I had made all the decorations myself and gave them instructions on how and where to set them up, and they did exactly as I asked. The flower centerpieces they provided, as well as my bouquet and the boutonnieres were all beautiful. They also provided a very nice send-off breakfast for all of our guests on Sunday morning.

I'm still hearing from friends and family about how beautiful our wedding was. It was a perfect day, and a wonderful weekend. I'm very pleased with the service and accommodations Paniolo Ranch provided.

Judy and her team at Paniolo Ranch were awesome. All we had to do was get the invitations and the dress and she did the rest. We had a small wedding of about 40 people and it was perfect. So nice and relaxing to have everything there at the Ranch. The whole experience was more than I could have hoped for. The venue was absolutely beautiful! So many people asked us how we found this place and I thank God every day that we did. We planned our wedding in 2 months and got so lucky that they had a Saturday available. We met at the venue a month before the wedding, made a layout of where we wanted everything and the day of the wedding we showed up and it looked amazing. Judy worked alongside our coordinator and did a great job with the vendors and offering recommendations to make our wedding day the best one ever. Being able to rent the linens and everything through Paniolo took one less stress off of our plate because it was one less vendor we had to work with. Judy even special ordered linens that we wanted.

Judy was a joy to work with and our wedding day went by flawlessly. I highly recommend Paniolo Ranch!

Beautiful venue

We fell in love with the venue as soon as we stepped foot on the property. Hunter was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. We received many compliments from our guests. The bartender who was staffed by Paniolo was a hit with our guests as well! They loved him!

We only had one issue which was a phone call less than a week before the wedding that claimed we were not paid in full (although we had finished paying about a couple of months prior). This discussion also unveiled a big miscommunication on both sides that caused a lot of unnecessary stress and scrambling on my end. I would advise to be very thorough with the owner and have everything in writing as proof of any communication you have. Besides that, we enjoyed every moment at the venue on our wedding day and our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was!

Absolutely Gorgeous and Personal

We are so happy that we picked Paniolo Ranch for our wedding. The view was spectacular and the owner not only coordinated the wedding but she made sure that all guests were personally taken care of as well. All of us felt like we were at home! We got married here in a super small ceremony (14 guests) which was primarily held at the main house during September. The ranch is absolutely beautiful, I can't imagine a more perfect backdrop for our wedding. Since our wedding was small, we had dinner inside the main house, which Judy's team did a wonderful job decorating. We had the steak dinner listed on their website and it was phenomenal. I had several guests say it was the best wedding dinner they'd ever had. Our package also included a couples massage and seriously, best massage ever. I'm pretty ticklish and usually can't relax during a massage but I was almost falling asleep. So overall, ranch is gorgeous, food is fantastic and the staff are great!

This place is absolutely breath taking. It is definitely the most beautiful venue near San Antonio. Our friends and family still compliment us on the location. Everything was in full bloom and the lake was full. The reception room is classy and cab be decorated however one likes. We highly recommend this venue!

Paniolo was a great choice for our elopement! It was simple yet elegant! Judy and her team made sure we had everything we needed and then went above and beyond with a few extra things. The place is lovely! The view is just breathtaking, and the people are nice to work with.
Negatives:
My main complaint is the speed at which they answered emails. I feel they need someone to help them on the internet side of the running running their business, but every time you talk to them you feel like you are talking to a good friend that's helping you out. On several occasions they missed my email, or didn't get to it for a few a week or so. On the other hand, they tend to answer the phone and voicemails within 48 hours.
I had to email them several times to get an updated invoice to keep track of my costs. I didn't get the actual "complete" final bill until the day of the wedding (of maybe the day before). There were not any hidden fees, only the annoyance of not having a "final bill" after having asked for it on multiple occasions.
The positives
They purchased extra the linens since they didn't have the color I wanted for my tables. They made runners that I wanted. Everything was setup as discussed. They are SUPER flexible in terms of working with you. They really are committed to bringing your vision come to life. They are very laid back, and make you feel very comfortable and relaxed when talking to you about the details.
My husband wanted his dog to part of the wedding, this meant we had to have the dog on the property all evening. We kept her in a little room right next to the reception. Hunter (one of the owners) frequently checked up on our dog and made sure she had plenty of water - something he didn't have to do, and was greatly appreciated. Judy is a very sweet woman, who frequently greets you with a smile and makes you feel at home.
Overall it was a wonderful experience, they just a better email client to keep up with communication.

Let me start by saying that I'm so glad we chose Paniolo Ranch for our wedding. The venue is breathtaking, and it set the tone for the whole wedding. We had looked at a lot of other venues before we drove up to Paniolo, and the second we pulled in the driveway, I told my then fiance, "This is it." The only reason I'm not giving it five stars all around is that I definitely experienced some of what other reviewers have mentioned about the lack of staff responsiveness and communication. Though we always eventually got an answer, we frequently had to stay on top of the staff for days when we asked questions. This especially made me a little nervous when we rented our linens from them. The numbers changed several times and since we sometimes didn't get confirmation of receipt, I was definitely worried that we might show up and find we didn't have enough. This didn't happen, though. Everything went off without a hitch. My only other complaint is that because there was a wedding at the venue the night before ours, we didn't get access to the venue until 12:00pm the day of the wedding. I don't know what the policy is at other venues, but we definitely could have used some extra time to set up. I hadn't even had time to shower when the make-up artist arrived at 3:30pm. All this being said, I wouldn't have wanted to get married anywhere else. Several of our guests told us that it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever been to. To top it off, the fact that there is a B&B on site means that my now husband and I can go back and visit whenever we want, and we definitely plan to do so.

Review of Paniolo Ranch - ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We recently booked Paniolo Ranch for our international wedding, and it was a beautiful experience overall. Having the entire place to accommodate our guests allowed us to spend three wonderful days together. On Friday, we enjoyed grilling by the pool with breathtaking views, setting the perfect tone for the weekend.

Saturday was our wedding day, and I stayed in the lovely bridal suite. Everything was going smoothly until around 2 PM when we unexpectedly lost power across the entire complex. It turned out that the whole area was affected, and while the facility had one generator that was used to finish dinner, many of us were left without power – my suite even lacked running water. One of our guests had to go to a friend's ranch to borrow a generator, and I had to get my hair done in a truck outside.

Additionally, I was surprised that during this chaotic time, the owners were still showing the property to other couples, which felt quite inconsiderate.
Fortunately, the power was restored around 5 PM, just in time for our ceremony. Despite the earlier hiccup, the food was delicious, and the dinner area looked stunning. Ultimately, Paniolo Ranch is a magical venue, and despite the challenges, we ended up having an incredible and unforgettable time. I would recommend this place with the hope that they improve their response to power outages in the future!

I had my wedding and reception here. I also rented out the entire bed and breakfast for the weekend since I had alot of out of town family. The venue was beautiful. All the guests raved about the wedding and reception. My family loved their accommodations for the weekend. We had the rehearsal dinner and a breakfast for family and friends there on Sunday as well. The food was awesome and the table decorations and flowers were lovely. I really enjoyed working with the owner's son and his wife and all the other staff were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this venue for a wedding or reception. A few things to be aware of: The venue charges gratuity on top of the venue use fee. This is in addition to any gratuity for any services provided such as bartenders, security guards or maid service. I would also get a list of things the venue doesn't allow before you start planning. They decided not to allow kegs two weeks before the wedding even though I had already purchased some. I was able to return them but buying bottles was way more expensive. I purchased confetti to put on the tables and they told me the day before the wedding I couldn't use it. I would just confirm what they allow in writing prior to purchasing anything to avoid spending money unnecessarily.

My Husband & I had our wedding at Paniolo Ranch in June and it was absolutely beautiful! I will have a mixed review for fare warning. My Husband and I booked Paniolo almost a year in advanced and a few months later we move to Colorado for my Husband job. I have mixed feelings because I was more times than not, a pain to communicate with anyone at the ranch(if they would even answer or return phone calls). I was blessed to of had a wedding planner to help with communication since I was out of state but I still kept in communication every few weeks. We Love the venue though, It is absolutely gorgeous!! But My advice would be to get EVERY change of ANY kind; chairs, tables, guest count, timetable, bar service, security any minor details, changed in the contract or like I had to start doing, verify in an e-mail. You talk to anyone at Paniolo on the phone PLEASE get a name of who you talked to, the date of the conversation and make a note and then send an e-mail summarizing everything you just went over and with whom and then PRINT & SAVE. They tend to "forget" things at the ranch and as much as I recommend the venue, working with several different people on details of our wedding and not one would know about a conversations I had with the other was maddening. However the Houses are awesome! We booked all 4 so we could be on our own timeline and not worry about any other guest. I would say that for as much as we spend in renting the 4 houses and taking advantage of most if not everything they offered for the wedding, we would have loved to have gotten something like a free honeymoon night or half off a night stay but no such luck. It doesn't have to be as stressful as what my Husband & I went through, at the end of the day most of it was worth it but just be smart. If you can, get a wedding planner and it will make it SO much easier, if not then again, just be smart. Anyone you talk to person, phone, e-mail... verify through e-mail and maybe even put in the contract.

Stressful but beautiful

The property and venue itself is just gorgeous. Hunter was really great and attentive to work with. Unfortunately it did seem like the rest of the staff was not as organized. Vendors began showing up and we're also unable to get ahold of any staff at the beginning. Brenda then met us at the reception hall telling us how busy she is and that the vendor should have known already where to drop things off at. Yes, we are all busy on my wedding day. Later on Brenda rudely told my cousin and bridesmaids during our cocktail hour that they had to get all of our things out of the bridal suite at that very moment since we didn't rent that specific suite for the night. Even though we had rented out all of the B&Bs. They all had to rush and get everything as we're preparing to go into our reception. If that was the case, that should have been calmly communicated to all of us before the wedding even began. Not minutes before our reception was to begin. At the end of the night there was also confusion and different communications on where we should have our things for the getaway limo. Even arguing in front of my husband and I.

While the venue is completely beautiful, there were a few factors that detracted from the overall experience. First, the venue was not always responsive to our wedding planner when we had concerns. Second, there is a 20% gratuity fee on top of the venue rental fee that we were not aware of until the final bill arrived a few weeks before the wedding. I'm still not sure what that was for. When we arrived the day of the wedding, I was not sure where to go as I hadn't been to the venue in months and hadn't been able to see the prep areas when I visited because they were in use. The staff was not incredibly helpful in helping us locate the proper area, which as a bride already under the stress of a wedding day was not ideal. Finally, we were told by the venue that we needed to decide on Thursday whether to set up tables inside or outside. We had picked the venue solely for the outside area and were really hesitant to go inside unless the weather absolutely prohibited it. On Thursday there was a 30% chance of rain. In Texas we all know how quickly that can change. It ended up working out, but I thought that it was rather inflexible to make a decision about setup over 2 days in advance.

A Wedding Day Nightmare

I recently had an elopement wedding at Paniolo Ranch, and I can't express my disappointment enough regarding my experience. Despite initial promises, the owner Judy did not uphold her commitments nor our contract by double booking another wedding over mine. Being that I was 30 minutes late to the alter Judy allowed another wedding party to rehearsal their event at the alter putting me and my wedding party on hold informing me that it was my fault because I was late. Our contract has us paying or 2 hours! This led to a cascade of issue that significantly impacted our special day. The lack of attention to detail, blame put on bride, and failure to prioritize our event left us feeling neglected and disheartened.
Our wedding day should have been a joyous, and intimate occasion, but due to these issues, it turned into a stressful and hurtful experience. My hope is that future couples won't have to endure the same challenges.

The Owner Judy ruined my wedding with her attitude and last minute "you have to pay" charges ON EVERYTHING. She got in my fathers face and yelled at him for a ONE beer can left in the garden the day after the wedding and demanded an $100 cleaning charge! Also, Charged us $75 for ice the day of the wedding! My Caterer opted to purchase our own ice in order to avoid that extra expense and she told us there was no off site ice allowed. So we were forced to make that payment in order to have cold beverages at the wedding. Furthermore, she turned off the ice maker right before the reception so we ran out. The catering kitchen manager did not notice it was off until it was empty. We had to send someone for ice in the nearest town 30 minutes away... one way so that we could have cold drinks. She also turned off the air conditioning several times on our JUNE wedding, even though we were charged EXTRA for it. Yeah, air conditioning doesn't come with the room charge. And the room charge doesn't come with the base charge of $9000 (that charge was just for the WALLS, we paid for every single thing on top of that.) My mother was locked out of our room at 3 am. Her reasoning was she needed to make sure that there were only three people staying in the room. She saw there were a bunch of us in the hot tub and she wanted to know where everyone else was staying. They were our guests sobering up before their drive home. I repeat, this was the absolute worst experience of my life.. None ever came close to how awful this woman was. The saving grace is that it is a beautiful venue and we had an amazing time regardless. I could go on even further but I believe I've made my point. My advice, do yourself a favor and find somewhere just as beautiful with half the expense and hassle.
