Jim made me an absolutely beautiful wedding cake. Despite it not being exactly why I had envisioned, it was AMAZING! People are still talking about it and we got married 6 months ago! Beyond that, it tasted great (and how often do you hear THAT about wedding cake?). Jim and Hope get an A++++ for flexibility. How about this: I gave them the wrong date for my wedding (WHOOPS!) Hope noticed it when they were at our engagement party (for which they made a BEAUTIFUL cake that looked like a glass slipper on a pillow). She saw the date written on the banner and realized that I'd booked her for the day before! She and Jim immediately adjusted their plans and made sure our wedding was 100% covered! Whew. Life savers. Both of them.

They did 5 cakes for me from the time I met them through my wedding (my graduation cake, my engagement cake, a grooms cake, an emergency baby shower cake and of course, our wedding cake). Each one tasted FANTASTIC. Hope and Jim aren't afraid to go out on a limb with innovative cake design (for instance, they tried to to a hulk cake that moved for our groom's cake and a brain for my graduation, but the logistics didn't work so they changed the plan, which was fine - the cakes were awesome!) they are flexible, versatile, friendly, honest, prompt and responsive.

Their prices can't be beat either. I can't believe I got lucky enough to find them :)

You will NOT be disappointed with this company.

Chef Jim and Hope are the 'Cake Boss' of Tampa Bay! They created a masterpiece for our cake and it tasted better than it looked! Everyone loved the cake... Even going as far to asking who made the cake! They even made a groom's cake for us last minute! Thank you Pandaisia!!!

I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved working with Hope. Not only did we order our wedding cake , rehearsal cupcakes and 2 other personal cakes along the way. I even rented by linens, centerpieces and chair covers from her other company. She even became my wedding day coordinator and saved me so much time and stress. She is a one stop shop!! If you choose Hope your wedding day will be amazing! Mine was perfect!!!

Hope at Pandaisia was wonderful! From the consultation through the delivery day of she was available and quick to respond to any of my questions or needs. The cake that they made was gorgeous and tasted amazing! All of my guests to this day are still talking about how beautiful and delicious the cake was. It literally was the best wedding cake that everyone said they have ever tasted, people went back for seconds and thirds trying all three of the flavors. There was not a single piece left at the end of the night. Not only was the service and the cake amazing, the price could not be beat. I cannot say enough good things about Pandaisia. They kept me stress free leading up to , and made sure that the cake was perfect the day of my wedding. They are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope can take any idea in your head and make it a reality, the entire staff is very talented and will take great care of you. I highly recomend you give Hope a call if you need a cake for any occasion. I know that I certainly will be using Pandaisia Cakes again! :)

We gave artistic freedom to the baker with a few of our preferences, keeping it fairly open to her interpretation. It was beautiful; it was a work of art. The heat caused the third tier to begin to lean and the caterer took the top tier off and presented it on the side, averting crisis...i don't fault the baker...i fault the florida heat and a broken Air Conditioner for that one. The cake tasted wonderful, everyone loved it, can't wait to eat it again on our anniversary. We found them about a month before the wedding too! They didn't care, and were super accommodating. Loved it.

OMG I can't say enough GREAT things about working with Hope at Pandaisia!! We got married at the Grand Plaza in St. Pete Beach and Pandaisia wasn't an option, at first. Our Wedding Cake was part of our Reception Package and we had to choose from either Cakes By Carolyn or A Piece Of Cake. Neither of which I had the pleasure of working with because 1 never responded and the other was unprofessional and rude to put it nicely!! I was at my wits end when I was offered to work with Pandaisia and man am I glad that they were taken on as a vendor at the Grand Plaza!! We weren't limited to what we could choose and weren't charged for fondant or anything else, though we would have gladly paid any monetary difference!! I gave Hope a few pictures of the type of cake we wanted and she was able to take our vision and make our dream cake!! :) We were getting compliments all night about our cake, even before it was tasted!! I could go on and on about how much it ment to us that Hope made sure we had the cake we wanted!! Thank you so much :)

Hope was fantastic to work with. She responds to messages and phone calls quickly. They were able to arrange everything for us a month before the wedding considering we changed our cake vendors at last minute due to budget issues. Pandasia came through full throttle and for a great price. I shared my ideas with Hope and she gave me a couple options that exceeded our expectations. The cake we chose was unique, and it arrived flawless at our outside reception. They were on time and efficient even though we were one of the few weddings that day. There are so many options and flavors with Pandaisia. The ideas and special touches are endless and there were no extra hidden fees. They were willing to work with our schedule. Would definitely recommend!

Cake was gorgeous and delicious! Multiple guests asked me about the cake and were impressed with the taste. The cost was very reasonable, the best we found. I would highly recommend.

Everything about working with Jim and Hope is INCREDIBLE!!! They just did my bridal shower cake and it was gorgeous, delicious, affordable and absolutely everything I could have hoped for! I am so glad they will also be doing my wedding cake and the ceremony decor and reception centerpieces. They are a pleasure to work with, are extremely professional, and have really set my mind at ease! I cannot say enough great things!!!!

Absolutely the best cake ever! Jim creates not only beautiful, unique cakes, they taste delicious!! We ordered a half chocolate and half vanilla cake for my daughter's birthday party......needles to say her cake was a BIG hit!! He was able to satisfy his guest by surprising them with two different flavors of cake! So everyone was able to eat cake. Needless to say, there was no leftover cake. If you are looking for a cake that is beautiful, flavorful, moist and served with the utmost professional service, Jim is your guy!!

Jim is absolutely amazing! Not only are his cakes delicious, he has one of the best personalities a bride could ask for. He's super kind and patient and goes out of his way to give you exactly what you want! I would highly recommend him and Pandaisia to anyone. 100% customer satisfaction. Pandaisia rocks!!!

Jim made an amazing cake. I worked with Jim through phone and email. I told him the theme of my wedding and the colors. He created a cake that was very beautiful. He is also creative in flavors. I had a white cakewith a banana puree filling. DELICIOUS! Everyone continued to rave about how good the cake was. You can definately tell he takes the time and energy to make each little individual cake perfect!

(We had a small 2 teir cake, and small individual ones for the guest that matched the larger cake)

We connected with Pandaisia maybe 3 weeks before our wedding date. They immediately felt our vision and sketched an idea for us. They helped us achieve a beautiful cake at a very reasonable price - and the taste was DELICIOUS!

Pandaisia cakes saved us a lot of money. We were able to get a fondant cake for what we had budgeted to pay, and we had a limited budget. The cake came out nice and tasted good, she also did the grooms cake. Overall we were satisfied.

This was the very first vendor I ever met with and looked no further after our initial meeting. Hope was excited and artistic and seemed to specialize in unique ideas and being different. Initially I wanted a plain ole cake nothing fancy but after she explained what she could do and I saw her work I happily shared what my vision was.

She took notes and submitted a drawing to me sometime later I responded with adjustments and got no feedback...but this was months in advance.

My wedding was 11:30am and at 11:15 the cake was not yet at the venue and I started freaking out! But then when I asked the coordinator to check on the cake I was told it was being delivered.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how my wishes were expressed and the cake was BEAUTIFUL totally UNIQUE!

Being more responsive would reduce the stresses associated with weddings considerably. Hope they keep that in mind going forward.

Brides-to-be: If your in the central florida area and looking for something (EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE) yet unique. Pandaisia is a great option to consider.

After having settled with a particular bakery my now husband and I had a change of heart. We wanted a home-made-feel cake; our venue suggested we contact Pandaisia. We looked online and their website described exactly what we wanted: a cake made from scratch! Since we live in Texas, we made sure we had and appointment for a tasting. Unfortunately it never happened! There was a problem with their system and our appointment got cancelled and they were unable to re-schedule. We decided everything four days before the wedding, over the phone! We ordered a bridal cake, a groom cake and cupcakes for a cocktail party the day before the wedding. I was a bit skeptical but everything turned out delicious! The cinnamon cupcakes are to die for, they were my favorite! My husband’s favorite was red velvet cake with cream cheese filling (which was his groom cake). I would definitely recommend Pandasia, but make sure you do it well in advance so you have the time to meet with the chef and plan in detail what you want your cake to look like.

We did not pay a lot for our cake, we got an email for a black friday deal. Well we got what we paid for. The cake tasted great, but it looked a little like a mess. I wasn't really expecting perfection since we did get such a good deal, but I'm not sure if that's how all of their work looks or if it was just because we didn't pay a lot.

I contacted Pandaisia after hearing that they created mini-cakes for guests instead of the typical big wedding cake. Hope was extremely nice and said that we could meet at a Bridal Expo (in January) as our locations were about 4 hours apart. I was so excited at the Expo because they had made a cake that I could bring home to my fiance' since he was unable to attend. All the samples were delicious. Hope told me she would also throw in a cake topper as well a groom's cake- I wanted to surprise my groom with a Patriots cake. In June, they sent an email saying we could pay off our balance early with a reduced price, so we did. In August when I asked Hope to confirm the topper, I was told that "they did not do that." I also asked to get a description of the design for the wedding and groom's cake. She told me she would send it, but never did. The night before my wedding, I spoke to Hope on the phone and we went over the details of both the wedding and the groom's cake. The day of my wedding- there was a beautiful cake, small mini-cakes for each guest, but NO GROOM'S CAKE! She never made it!! I was so disappointed as I had been so excited about that surprise for my groom! I never received an email or anything about it. The cake we did have was absolutely delicious and beautiful, everybody loved it- the design was perfect and it melted in your mouth. I would recommend Pandaisia, but would say don't be fooled if they offer you extras, you won't get them.

our wedding cake was included in our package at the grand plaza so price wise im not sure.but i paid a lot far the plaza and seen a lot of beautiful cakes from there. everyone was was nice and professional but the cake was not what i expected. the design was not what i wanted at all. in such an elegant ballroom the design looked like a child made it out of play dough. she told us it would be piped on. also the ribbon wasn't even on rite. it was falling off and the seams where on the side instead of the back. the cake looked tacky. i was soooo disappointed

My cake turned out completely different from the sketch. I asked for two different flavora in cake and they ended up only making one. The ribbon was suppose to be ivory on cake, instead it was royal blue on cake. My wedding colors were navy blue, pale pink and ivory. So the cake didn't go with the color scheme at all. I loved my wedding tons, but the cake was the huge letdown of the night.

Was at a wedding tonight where the cake was provided by this bakery. There was a fondant covering that wasn't part of the order. The groom's cake never got delivered. The middle layer of the cake was dry and flavorless.

I used Pandaisia for my wedding cake. At first Hope was very responsive. We met with them for a tasting and loved it. Hope drew out our cake design and said she was going to do something special with the table as we were getting married at an Aquarium. She said she would use a glass bowl and hang fish in it and set our cake on top of it so it looked like it was floating. Well that never happened. When I saw my cake I was very disappointed. It looked like a half completed version of my drawing with very little decorations or details. I will say it tasted pretty good, but that's about it. We were also told and it was in our contract, that they would provide us with a cake for our 1 year anniversary so we didn't have to worry about saving the top tier. I called and emailed well over a month prior to my anniversary, only to have no return call or email. I was very heartbroken, as we didn't save any of our cake and didn't get a new one for our anniversary this year. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone as they will only disappoint you.

WE were suppose to get a cake made for us for our one year anniversary and they never called or even called us back. I would not use them again. I had to make my own anniversary cake.

I had high hopes when I had my tasting w/ Chef Jim. He knew what he was talking about and boasted about working w/ all these famous people. We decided on a 4 tier, square cake with a patterned fondant on 2 w/ a plain tier w/ crystal banding alternating. I provided the crystal banding. Our cake flavors where simple, Chocolate cake w chocolate ganache, vanilla cake w vanilla buttercream, vanilla cake w fresh pineapple and a marble cake w chocolate ganache.. We were also told that a groom's cake was included in our package and I decided on a philly cheesesteak design. I paid my deposit the next day. We did not receive the contract until 3 months later. That was just the beginning, when I went to contact them about my final payment, I found that their website was gone and their number was not working either. So I contacted them through emails. I was assured I would have a cake and everything was going to be great! Then I walked into my reception and saw the cake, I cried. The design was wrong; every tier except the bottom had crystal banding. The layers were not square but rounded, the fondant was very lumpy and the cake was leaning forward. My guests were worried it would tip over. There was also no groom’s cake. I have contacted Pandaisia to find out what happened w/ my cake and was told that it was my reception hall’s fault and that they apparently had the temperature to high in the ballroom (it was set to 65) and that someone bumped the cake. Hope took it upon herself to change the design of the cake and I quote her email “There was extra banding left, so I did go ahead and add it to another layer of the cake for asthetics.” How is that not changing the design of the cake? They will not answer me as to why there was no groom’s cake. I never got proof of anything. Brides beware! They make themselves out to be these awesome cake designers. Unless you are shelling out big bucks with them, run away! The “Specials” are not what you think. Too Good to be True!

Disappointment! Hope has left an entire wedding party with a bad taste in their mouths. Wrong cake design, poorly executed desserts and unresponsive to calls and emails. BE CAREFUL! We had the most confidence in this company and were let down to the point where the venue had to fix this awful cake. It was Hope's design and plan. She had told us not to get a cake topper because she had a display to showcase the cake. We were promised peacock feathers and great design. We got a black cake, green shapes of fondant, and orange ribbon. Not a feather or even the right color! The venue went above and beyond (Dubsdread) to go to the store and purchase anything they could to fix this cake. Hope's staff did nothing and will still not return our phone calls.
And whoever heard of a chocolate covered strawberry consisting of a sad little strawberry covered in chocolate syrup and put in a cupcake wrapper! Disgusting!!!!

I will never recommend this compnay to any body. I will admitt i did send them a little bit of a nasty email because my cake wasnt what i wanted or paid for. So instead of calling me letting me know the situration i show up at my venue to see a cake that wasnt mine. I try to infom them on the situration and instead of trying to help me fill better all she did was brag about how the cake she picked and changed was going to be in a magazine. I am very dissappointed with them, and if you want a fake half done cake i would go with them, If thats not what you want then run away fast as you can. They only care about the highest price and not the customers filling or wedding, if they did they wouldnt of chnaged my cake without calling me or letting me know. You will talk with one person and someone else will decorate and bring your cake, will meet with the Chef one time at first visit anf never hear from them again unless, its time to collect money..I would highly recommend you do NOT go with this company.

UPDATE!!!! After trying to get ahold of this company for a couple days to order my anniversary cake that they persisted on being fresh so they did not make one the day of my wedding. NOW I can not get one!! They have no working emails, nobody answered the phone let alone call you back. My Cake was not the same as the picture and they know it. They brought me a Ivory cake, it was suppose to have Silver design throw out the hole cake. It did not have that. yes the cake was set up the way I liked but it was not the cake I sent them a pic of. Now I cant even get my anniversary cake. I paid that little because that was the promotion the Company had going on at the time, not something I asked for.
