Surprise in a box
We hired Aimee for our wedding last year. Of course …a couple drinking on their wedding day can’t decipher between flavors and we dishonorably thought Aimee hadn’t delivered on the flavors promised. A year later we are having our wedding cake and realize how perfect Aimee was able to get our two unique wedding flavors of coffee and champagne in our wedding cake. She is magical. She is supportive. She was everything we could have imagined in a wedding cake baker. She delivered our dream cake. She was perfection. Hire her and you won’t be disappointed. We feel so remorseful to have waited a whole year before this review. But with our biggest heart do we recommend you to hire Aimee as your wedding baker of choice for your special day. -

Absolutely perfect
Aimee was incredible to work with. I showed her a picture of something I was interested in and had a phone consultation and sent pictures of my bouquet. She brought the cake to the venue 2 hours before our starting time and it was all set up and ready to go!! She offered to get the cake topper for me or said I could bring it with me, which is what I ended up doing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The cake was absolutely delicious. The cake was perfectly moist, the frosting wasn’t too sweet, and the ratio of icing to cake was perfect. -

Our cake was fantastic! Aimee was so helpful when we needed to change our cake baker with only 3 months before the wedding. She made us a custom and gorgeous cake that tasted delicious! We went with almond by the way, which was really unique and fantastic, we received a lot of compliments :) -

Our cake was both delicious and beautiful. We got so many compliments for how beautiful it was- she made a custom cake just for us! I was completely against fondant but once I tried hers, we actually went with it for our cake because it was the best we have ever tasted. We are convinced that there is nobody better in the area! -

Amazing. I would recommend Pamkakes to anyone. Very responsive, helpful, and informative during the whole time leading up to the wedding. Aimee saw our vision perfectly from the very first sketch, and it turned out just as perfect in the end. It was everything we hoped for and more- gorgeous and tasted just as good. Absolutely delicious. -

Completely pleased with every aspect of the process, from design to delivery, they are amazing to work with. When I explained what I wanted, they took my idea and made into a beautiful wedding cake. My Husband saw the cake before I did and said WOW, I didn't know the detail was going to be so precise! Very professional and extremely talent! -

After the cake tasting, we knew that Pamkakes would be our wedding cake designer. Pam sat and really worked with us until we had the perfect design. I was not expecting the cake to look as amazing as it did the day of the wedding. Everyone could not stop talking about how amazing the cake looked and tasted. The cake was beautiful and delicious. The service received was wonderful! -

Pamkakes made our wedding cake the talk of the evening! It was an arrangement of 4 flavors of cupcakes and they were DELICIOUS ! They were perfectly accently with butterflies that looked like they were flying right off the cake! I couldn't have asked for a better cake! -

I loved working with Pam. She made a beautiful wedding cake for us that was exactly what we wanted. I didn't get a chance to have any at my wedding sadly, but my guests told me it was amazing. She also made cute paw print cookies for us to give with our donation favor cards - those I did try, and they were delicious! -

Pamkakes was wonderful! We did a tasting and instantly fell in love. We had a small 2-tiered take then 3 different kinds of cupcakes. Pam was very accommodating of our requests and everything turned out wonderfully! The guests raved about how delicious everything was! -

Our wedding was in the Lehigh Valley, and with 250 guests, we were getting quotes for cakes that were $2000 and up. Pamkakes to the rescue!
Pam did a spectacular job, and we were able to get a wedding cake and a phenomenal groom's cake for way under budget. Everything was delicious and looked EXACTLY like the photos I gave her. She was incredibly sweet to work with and clearly loves what she does. I can't believe I found this quality of work in Hometown! -

Pam was awesome! Our cake was beautiful and so perfect for our wedding. Everyone loved it and raved about how beautiful it was (not to mention delicious). We had our wedding in Pennsylvania, but were planning it from Baltimore, so we only had one chance to meet with Pam and everything else was done over email. Of all of the vendors that we worked with, she was definitely one of the most responsive and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her services -- excellent quality and very affordable. -

Pamkakes is wonderful!!! Most importantly, my wedding cake was absolutely delicious. Our guests raved about how great the cake tasted. We had several guests asking for seconds and thirds! The red velvet/buttercream combo was amazing! Pamkakes was a great value, I was able to get a 4 tier cake that fed 230 guests for UNDER my budget. The cake was exactly how I had pictured it. The cake arrived on time and was set up beautifully in our venue. I would highly recommend Pam to anyone getting a wedding cake....she is fantastic!!!! -

I used Pam for my wedding cake. I didn't have your typical wedding cake that everyone has. My cake topper was alligators sitting under an umberalla and she made a little alligator out of fondunt to represent our daughter. The cake was amazing and really delicous. I would recommed her to anybody. -

Our cake looked beautiful. I'm sad to say, I didnt get to eat it the day of because we were having a blast and were away from the table when it was served. I did get a bite at the cutting and from what I remember it was delicious. Everyone else said the same. -

My wedding was 2/21/09. Pam and Keith did my cake, and it was beautiful! I had worked in a local grocery store bakery and everyone always talked about how her cakes were the best and i thought why not give it a try. She worked well with me, even though I was very indecisive. But the ending result was awesome. Everyone loved the cake. Even though Ive moved away my family still uses Pam's services. Whether it be for a birthday or just a snack. Everyone I know loves her cakes... -

We have been using Pamkakes exclusively since she opened! We absolutely love her creativeness, flexibility, not too mention the yumminess of her cakes!! Last July she even recreated my parents' wedding cake for their 50th wedding anniversary, from a 50 yr old black and white photo. In a word, AMAZING!! -

I got married on 08/08/08 and Pamkakes provided my beautiful wedding cake! I went for a consultation with Pam about my "pink" wedding and she worked well with my requests. The price was just right and my cake was stunning! It was hot pink with white dots with a big white bow at the top. It was perfect! Visit Pam's website to see it under wedding cakes. Pam's cakes are simply the best! When I was getting married in PA, my sister-in-law-to-be instantly referred me to Pam, because she'd had one of her cakes at another function and said how delicious it was.
Our wedding was the day after Christmas, so I didn't know if Pam would be available, but she was wonderfully flexible and was able to do it! We also didn't want a traditional wedding cake. I'm a chocoholic so the cake had to be all chocolate, and Pam completely understood. :)
Her site was very helpful in seeing her designs, and my husband and I immediately knew which kind of cake we wanted. Since it was Christmas, we wanted holly and ivy leaves down the side of the cake, and Pam was very receptive to this.
She called us about a week ahead of time to confirm where the cake should be delivered. And when we arrived at the reception, the cake was there, beautifully presented. It was exactly as I imagined it.
And here's the best part: it tasted DIVINE!!!! Seriously, every single person at the wedding raved about how moist and luscious it was.
"This is the best wedding cake I've ever tasted!" That's what everyone was saying!
Needless to say, it was a hit!
And you know what? The staff saved us such a giant piece to take home with us. We wrapped a little piece to freeze for our anniversary,and then we enjoyed the rest of it the entire rest of the week. It stayed that moist and delicious for a full week!
Mmm! Wish I could do it all over again! Thanks, Pam!
