We had an amazing experience with Pamela! From the moment we met her, Pamela made us feel completely comfortable and at ease, which really shows in the natural, relaxed photos she captured. Her warm, calming presence and professionalism helped take all the pressure off, allowing us just to be ourselves and enjoy the moment. She has an incredible eye for detail and a true talent for capturing genuine emotion. The final photos were absolutely stunning — beautifully lit, thoughtfully composed, and full of life-very true to her style. I recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Pamela and her amazing team for my wedding photography and videography, and I can confidently say that they were nothing short of excellent. I was first introduced to Pamela at a close friend's wedding, and what struck me immediately was her warm, friendly, and down-to-earth personality. She had such a natural ability to make everyone feel at ease, and after seeing the stunning photos she captured from that event, I made a mental note to reach out to her when my own wedding day arrived.
Fast forward six months after my engagement, I immediately contacted Pamela to inquire about her availability. Although she wasn't available for our wedding date, I was thrilled when she offered an alternative solution. We had a wonderful consultation meeting where she explained that she could still be heavily involved in our wedding day by overseeing the editing and coordination, while another talented photographer from her team would take the lead on capturing the day itself.
Pamela took the time to walk us through every detail, even coordinating with our other vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her involvement in the planning process gave me so much peace of mind knowing that we were in the best hands. The results were simply breathtaking. The photos and videos captured every moment beautifully, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
I highly recommend Pamela and her team to anyone looking for not only incredible work but also a truly positive and professional experience. From the consultation to the final product, they exceeded all my expectations, and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with them. -

Pamela Tatz and her team were absolutely the best choice we could have made when hiring a photographer for our wedding! We were an out of state couple and working with Pamela was super easy and the communication was great! We were looking for someone to capture us as is with a true to color and a more candid, less “pose-y”, vision for our day. She really listened to everything we envisioned for the day and she definitely delivered. On the day of the wedding Pamela and her team were professional and reliable. They showed up early and brought the energy and vibes and made myself, my husband, and our party feel so comfortable. My husband was a little nervous that taking a ton of pictures wouldn’t be fun but he had a blast with his groomsmen! They even had a TikTok viral moment that left us with some really fun photos and Pamela and her team were there to capture the whole thing! We got married at a golf course and I thought some of the areas to take photos would be a bit tough or weird and Pamela’s creativity made every location look like it was made to be in the photo. She also helped us recreate a photo that my parents took at the same location on their wedding day! The whole day felt so natural and didn’t feel forced at all. I feel as though they truly captured us as who we are and that was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer.
She got us our sneak peeks so quickly and we were blown away by them. They had us immediately reliving our day and crying over how beautifully she captured it. Then the full gallery was delivered and boy oh boy! It had us and our family members feeling all the feels and all the love from that day. The photos were ART. Absolutely beautiful! We feel so blessed to have had our wedding captured by Pamela and her team. We got so many great ones back that we don’t even know how we are going to fit all the perfect ones into an album. There are that many! Every photo told the story of our day and really highlighted who we are as a couple. The sheer amount of joy that radiated from each image just proves how well she captured us true to ourselves and to that day. Pamela and her team captured everything! The points of view, the small intimate moments, the candid reactions of us, our party, family and friends were all captured with such expertise. We are still blown away. Each image is a work of art and lets us relive all the emotions we experienced during our wedding. Pamela and her team managed to capture and create timeless memories that we will cherish forever. I cannot recommend and cannot thank Pamela and her team enough!

Pamela is just amazing! Her style makes you feel so ease, and the photos she took are breathtaking. Her team was also amazing, professional, wonderful to work with. She took the time to get to know us, and her experience behind the camera had her capturing all the lovely details I wouldn’t have thought to ask for. Her style is golden dipped light —she made us feel and look like a million bucks in front of the camera. You will not be sorry you have her at your wedding —I will treasure the photos she took for the rest of my life.

I am very late to review but we got married in October 2023 and Pamela took all the stress and worries away from one of the most important events we’ve ever planned. We did a lot of research and interviews of several photographers in the area and Pamela just really stood out to us because of her artistry, general attention to detail, and just her excitement and love for photography, weddings, and people! You don’t really think about how important it is to have photographer that is just as excited as you are to get married but they are literally following you for all 12+ hours of the day.
She did our engagement shoot and was extremely flexible with our schedule. She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and gave us all sorts of poses and tricks throughout the photoshoot. It felt like were taking photos with a friend we’ve known forever. She is high energy and went along with all our crazy ideas, she almost lost her drone to the ocean and fell into a river just to get the shot. That is true dedication right there. The photos themselves exceeded our expectations, they were romantic, artistic, and full of life.
On the days leading to our wedding day she was super organized, had clear communication with us and was on time. She was on her feet from morning until the late hours of the evening. All my family and friends mentioned how amazing her and her team were throughout the day. She was efficient and got all the family photos we needed and more. She was never the center of attention and literally acted like a fly on the wall. We were flabbergasted when we got the sneak peaks, I couldn’t stop looking at them and loved our whole album even more. Again photos were exactly what we hoped for extremely romantic and beautiful. Hire her, best decision ever and she is one of the best people. You will not regret it. -

Pam was incredible -- she has a wonderful eye for lighting and helped us to coordinate to get the best pictures possible.
Our wedding photographs are full of joy, spontaneity, and love; bursting at the seams with life. She truly did a wonderful job.
Pam also took our engagement photos which we were enthralled with. We described the photoshoot often and warmly to friends afterward.
I would recommend Pam to any couple looking for well-lit, artistically pleasing, authentic photos of their big day. My wife and I are very picky, and also quite pleased with the results! -

Talented, Brilliant, Incredible, Amazing, Show-Stopping, Spectacular, Never the Same, Totally Unique, Completely not ever been done before
In the words of the iconic Lady Gaga, "talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before" - this is one way to aptly describe Pamela Tatz Photography, and more specifically, the woman behind the lens, Pamela Tatz herself.
Exactly a year ago, I stumbled upon an IG reel that a venue had reposted showcasing Pamela's recent work capturing a wedding for a couple. As a newly engaged bride, I had scoured through countless photographers in search of someone who could bring my vision to life. However, no one quite seemed to match what I was looking for until I stumbled upon Pamela's work. It might sound dramatic, but watching her reel gave me chills, igniting my imagination with the magic she could bring to our special day. Without hesitation, I reached out, and within a week, we were on track with our consultation call.
While the details of that initial call have faded with time, what remains clear is the joy Pamela brought to our conversation. Her friendly, laid-back demeanor coupled with unwavering professionalism made the decision to hire her an easy one. There was no debate; my then-fiancé had no choice but to trust my judgment. Months later, we embarked on our engagement shoot at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Beyond the thrill of having our own paparazzi, it was delightful getting to know Pamela and spending time with her. Some people can become tiresome after a few hours, but Pamela was certainly not one of them. In the lead-up to our wedding, she remained in constant communication, joining us for venue walk-through, and readily addressing any questions we had.
On the big day, Pamela arrived promptly, even earlier than scheduled, and dedicated a full 10.5 hours to us, capturing every moment from our traditional tea ceremony to the Catholic mass and reception. Her professionalism and camaraderie made it feel as though we were all old friends. She seamlessly directed her team while maintaining a warm rapport with everyone. I had a surprise planned for my husband, which I communicated to Pamela beforehand, and she ensured her team was in on it, resulting in a flawless execution. She treated my parents and elderly guests with the utmost respect, a gesture that did not go unnoticed. Now, three weeks after our wedding, we are still receiving compliments on the professionalism and composure displayed by Pamela and her team. The entire day unfolded with pure perfection, and we never felt overwhelmed or pulled away excessively for photos. Pamela even had a discreet "code" in place for when we needed a break from the festivities, showcasing her thoughtfulness.
A photographer can indeed make or break your wedding day, and we consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have had Pamela and her exceptional talents guiding us through ours. The sneak peeks she provided the next day left us speechless, and we've been unable to pick our jaws up since. In all seriousness, Pamela is truly remarkable, and we look forward to the opportunity of working with her again in the future. Otherwise, we will continue to wholeheartedly recommend her to family, friends, and prospective clients alike. If you're reading this, do yourself a favor and hire Pamela—you won't regret it. An incredibly joyful experience!
If a ray of sunshine was somehow turned into a person, it would be PAM. She is amazing. Leading up to the wedding, she was very hands-on and helpful, and it definitely eased my mind when it came to the actual timeline of the day. On the wedding day itself, I was so nervous. But when I met Pam and her team for the first time, my anxiety melted away because of just how she is as a person. She is incredibly sweet, knows exactly what to do, and she is FUN. Pam made the whole experience a joyous one, and the whole wedding party loved her! It truly takes a special person to wrangle friends and family for wedding photos, because the day is definitely chaotic. But Pam was professional, incredibly patient, and just overall such a kind person. You could feel her energy and how genuine it is, and you can’t help but reciprocate and feel at ease.
Now on to the quality of the photos: WOW. They are beautiful! Pam must be a wizard, because she made even my bad angles look good! I’ve been obnoxiously obsessing over my wedding photos ever since she’s sent them (and I received them so quickly). I will cherish these photos forever.
Pam is spectacular, and her work is beyond anything I could’ve hoped for. My husband and I are so happy to have shared our special day with her. -

When every single guest at your wedding goes out of their way to commend the amazing photographer who brought wonderful energy and a beautiful smile to your special day, it's evident that you've selected an exceptional photographer for your event. Seriously! Not one, not two, but we heard it from at least ten guests.
Like many of you reading this, we were initially overwhelmed by the sheer volume of tasks involved in planning our wedding. Browsing Pamela's website offered us a delightful glimpse into her style and approach.
Right after our first meeting with Pamela, it was clear that we wanted her to capture our wedding day. She took great care to understand our vision (to be honest, we were a bit uncertain about what we wanted, only knowing that we wanted natural, free-flowing photos and videos) and she guided us in shaping the wedding of our dreams every step of the way.
Communication with Pamela was excellent, and here's why: she assisted us in crafting our initial vision early on, which included both photography and documentary-style videography. As our plans progressed, she maintained efficient check-ins, gathering necessary information and increasing the frequency of communication as our wedding day approached, ensuring that she got to know us personally. On the day of our wedding, it felt as though a dear friend was leading the photography and videography (aside from your partner, your wedding photographer and their team are the individuals you'll spend most of your wedding day with, so their energy is crucial).
Pamela and her team did an exceptional job capturing every detail of our wedding day in the most beautiful way possible. When we got our photos and videos, we were able to relive each moment and cherish them forever. Our wedding was a fusion of Persian and American styles, and we're immensely grateful for Pamela's dedication, care, and energy in capturing beautiful moments and scenes in our videos, considering that most conversations and music were in Farsi.

I truly don’t even know where to begin. Pam and her team were INCREDIBLE! She was a photographer, coordinator, and friend all in one! Not only are her photography skills beyond amazing, she is the kindest person I have ever met. It was a hot day and I am awful at remembering to drink water and she went out of her way to make sure I was taking time to drink water on top of all of the other things she was doing. She also handled everything flawlessly without needing any assistance from me! Wedding day can sometimes be stressful when vendors are pulling at you but she coordinated things without ever needing me perfectly! I truly believe that my wedding day would not have run as smoothly as it did if I didn’t have her. I also usually feel so awkward being photographed, but she made me feel so comfortable. She also really knows how to make you feel special on your day by hyping you up and always having a smile on her face! Whenever I needed her she was there, it was amazing. She was easily my favorite vendor and I am forever grateful to her for making my day so very special. Even my wedding guests and family were bragging about how kind and amazing she was. She also sent so many sneak peaks sooo soon after the wedding and they were all even more amazing than I could’ve imagined! -

One piece of advice that I read while wedding planning was to hire a photographer that you like as a person since they will spend many hours with you on your wedding day. Pamela was such a joy and delightful to spend the day with. She and her team were so sweet and made the sessions fun and comfortable. Multiple guests even commented on how much they liked Pamela and her team.
An engagement session was included in the package which made us feel more prepared and was a great opportunity to get to know each other. She is very organized and that was reassuring during the planning process. Pamela worked with me on my long photo request list and managed to fit all of them into the schedule.
We are very grateful for the memories that Pamela captured. She provided so many wonderful photos and the highlight film was absolutely amazing! -

Pamela Tatz is an incredibly talented photographer. Her work is impeccable. I was in awe when I received my wedding photos. All the pictures that were capture were scenic, and exquisite. She covered my wedding ceremony, and reception in Carmel California, and my husband and I were extremely satisfied, and happy. Ahead of Pamela's beautiful work, she's also a beautiful human being. Very professional, and humble. Please, please, please hire Pamela as your photographer. You will not be disappointed! -

Beyond my expectations!!
My boyfriend and I had the absolute Pleasure of shooting maternity photos with Pam and the photos are so gorgeous I could cry!!! She was beyond generous with her time and patience (as we included our not very cooperative dog in the photos). I am a photographer myself so I am always so picky with who I choose to take photos for me and Pam surpassed all of our expectations. She delivered the photos so quick and gave us a gallery with so many photos to choose from. I highly recommend Pam not just for your wedding photos, but for any occasion! She is talented on so many different levels!! -
