Pamela is AMAZING! As a bridesmaid in a previous wedding, I had a bad experience with getting my makeup done, so I was particularly nervous about the makeup on my wedding day. With Pamela, I had no reason to be. She was incredible. She took the time to listen to what was important to me, what my skincare routine was & other sensitivities. During my trial & on my wedding day she made me feel so comfortable. Thanks to Pamela, I felt like a better version of myself on my wedding day – and it was fantastic. Pamela is the best, as a makeup artist and as a person!

Pamela Lesch is the best makeup artist in Charleston! She does incredible work and made me and each of my bridesmaids look absolutely stunning on my wedding day! At first I was skeptical about hiring a makeup artist but after my trial with Pamela I was blown away. She was extremely friendly and relatable, really listened to me, and created the exact "natural" look that I was envisioning -only better! I looked and felt more beautiful than I ever have before. The photos turned out great, and my bridesmaids and I received so many compliments. I would highly recommend Pamela to any bride who is looking for an excellent makeup artist in the Charleston area.

Pamela is absolute perfection! She is so sweet, calm, genuine, and was amazing to work with. I have very sensitive skin, so I felt more comfortable using a mixture of some of my own concealer and foundation. She complied with every request of mine and helped me figure out what was best for me and my look. She tested eyelashes and different shades of lip color with me until we found the perfect match. She made me feel so comfortable and happy and not to mention so beautiful! I felt like a princess on my wedding day. My makeup did not sweat or come off at all during the night. Pamela also made my bridesmaids and mom look incredible. They were so happy with her and made us all look and feel amazing! Love Pamela and would 100% recommend her to every bride!

I think the sheer number of 5 star reviews Pamela has is enough to show you her talent, but I couldn't resist adding another to the pile. Pamela is one of the most incredible makeup artists in Charleston, and she is constantly educating herself on the newest techniques, skin care regimens, and beauty lines to pass along to her clients. On top of her passion for beauty, she is an incredibly calming presence, and a wonderful person to have around on what can be a crazy day. She is honest, and never makes you feel uncomfortable with the makeup she applies; just makes you the prettiest version of your natural self for all important occasions :)

Pamela was such a doll to work with, and was one of my most responsive and attentive vendors! I was so happy we hired her :) She did such a phenomenal job on my makeup as well as my bridesmaids. Everyone was happy , confident, and comfortable with how they looked, which is sometimes difficult to accomplish with that many personalities! Pamela is a brilliant makeup artist and wonderful person to have with you on your wedding morning. I don't know how she stays so calm and collected, but it was impressive and contagious, helping me to calm down even when we were running 30 minutes late due to my family. I had my makeup done one other time for a friends wedding and it was terrible so naturally I was nervous. My trial was great and Pamela patiently applied more and more makeup to my eyes and tried on many different lip colors before we perfected my wedding day look. She then gave me a list of products and some homework (drink water, moisturize, etc.) in case I wanted to touch up on wedding day later in the evening. I love the lip and eye colors I bought and still use them now. When Pamela completed my look on wedding day, which included false eyelashes (best decision ever), I literally looked the best I had ever looked. It was very "me" but glammed up. Not so heavy that my husband complained about "too much makeup" but heavy enough that I looked good in pictures. All day. Airbrush makeup is amazing like that. And so is Pamela. Love her.

Pamela did a fabulous job with our wedding makeup! Mine looked exactly how I had envisioned it and it was absolutely beautiful. She really listens to you to make sure you are totally comfortable with your look. I really felt like a princess! Everyone else in my wedding party was raving about their makeup as well. She even helped to keep my mom calm during a dress near-catastrophe!

Additionally, Pamela is very professional and just an all-around pleasure to work with. Highly recommend her for wedding or any special occasion makeup!

I am one of those people who had to pour over vendor pages and reviews for hours before making any important decision when it came to hiring anyone for our wedding. As a bride, I am comfortable saying that hiring the perfect makeup artist was one of the top priorities from the beginning. It was love at first sight when I came across Pamela's webpage. There aren't many vendors that you find that have 5 stars from every reviewer. All of the photos of the makeup artistry she has done are without a doubt WOWing, but, my favorite quality of Pamela's is that every client of hers is unique and she makes sure that you look and feel like the beautiful you that you are. She was receptive to all of my skin concerns, and I must say, for the first time in my life, I was completely confident and comfortable with someone else doing my makeup. On the date of my trial makeup run, which was also the date I was having my bridal portraits taken, I had broken out. I kept apologizing to Pamela for the awful condition of my skin, and her response was "Leave your apologies at the door, you're beautiful." My photos turned out gorgeous, and not a blemish was visible, even in the close ups. Unbelievably enough, when I reluctantly took my makeup off that evening (because it looked so great), my skin was in BETTER condition than it was before any makeup had been applied. Pamela could not have been more graceful, considerate, and talented. She has the amazing ability to not only make you look stunning, but sincerely make you feel beautiful. I am honored to have been able to meet and work with such an amazing woman.

I can not say enough great things about this amazingly talented woman. I can honestly say I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day! Pamela was amazing. She did a fantastic job on my makeup and was so professional and sweet. My entire bridal party fell in love with her and some even took her cards to pass on recommendations. Pamela was absolutely amazing to work with! I normally do not wear much make-up so she did a great job of doing my make-up in a way that was heavy enough for the pictures but still looked like me. She came to our beach house to do the make-up of all my maids and moms and everyone looked beautiful! Pamela is pricier than most of the make-up artists in the Charleston area but she is worth every cent! She is a beautiful person inside and out. I would not hesitate to reccommend her to any bride in the Charleston area.

Pamela Lesch did a wonderful job on the make-up for myself and my seven bridesmaids. As an employee of a wedding planning company for the last decade, I have worked with many make-up artists but was still pleasantly surprised that Pamela's work was miles beyond other vendors. Not only was the quality of her work excellent, with attention to detail and flexibility for each of my bridesmaids - who are as different in personal style as they are in ethnicity - but Pamela was also a calming, relaxed presence to have around on what can be a stressful day for any bride. She did a detailed and personal consultation at her home, but traveled to our location early to be sure that every one was taken care of on time. Pamela even took the time to help with my grandmother's make-up last minute - a special extra touch that shows why she is the perfect choice for any special event.

I can't write enough positive things about Pamela! I had the pleasure of having Pamela do my makeup for my trial, my boudoir session (gift to my groom), and for my wedding! It has been 7 months since our wedding, and I keep meaning to write a review for the best makeup artist in the business, the wonderful Pamela Lesch. Unfortunately life gets in the way, and that is why I am just getting around to it! If I said that Pamela is an immense talent, that would be an understatement. I first saw Pamela's work on numerous wedding blogs. Every time I would see a stunningly flawless bride, I would note who the makeup artist was from the photo sessions and EVERY time it would be Pamela Lesch Makeup without fail. Since I had this strong affinity for her makeup before even meeting her, I knew that I must have her for my wedding. She literally was the second vendor I booked for my wedding, only because I had to secure a date with my venue which was the first. There are priorities, and an awesome makeup artist ranks equally high as photographer and florist in my book. After speaking with Pamela on the phone, I was so excited to book our trial run. I went to Pamela's studio and found the whole process to be stress-free and so much fun. I personally think that the airbrush makeup she offers is a "no-brainer" for brides who want that flawless skin look in their photographs. Even my photographer said that she makes their job easier and was the best in the business! I had no doubt that my makeup would be stunning at the wedding. When the time came, Pamela showed up early and stayed on time doing myself, bridesmaids, mother, and grandmother. Not only did everyone LOVE their makeup, it lasted for all hours of the night even through the serious dancing that took place at the reception. I promise, if you book Pamela Lesch Makeup you will not regret your decision. She is professional, extremely talented, and one of the nicest people you will ever meet! I cannot say enough great things about her, she is FANTASTIC!

Loved, loved, loved working with Pamela! My wedding party was so happy to not have to figure out what make-up I wanted- it made the 'day of' so much more relaxing! Pamela was very friendly, professional and highly skilled! She was a joy to work with both in our test-run before the wedding and of course on the special day. She was happy to travel out to our venue on folly beach and even arrived early on a day where the traffic was backed up for hours!

The makeup looked great in person--not caked on like theatre makeup! And still looked picture perfect in our wedding album. I have recommended Pamela to others via word of mouth, but am very happy to review her online for anyone who is trying to find a quality wedding makeup artist who is very talented and easy to work with.

I was very pleased with my choice of makeup artist. She responded to every email in a timely fashion and answered any questions I had. She was well worth every penny I paid. I was pleased with the way the makeup looked in person and in pictures. She even knew the type of lighting my photographer used and recommended the right amount of makeup for the best result. I had never had airbrush makeup but very glad I went that direction. My makeup lasted from about 11am until the early hours of the morning and it was July in Charleston!

I am still getting compliments from friends and family (parents included) that my makeup had never looked as good as it did on my wedding day. I was going for something with a little bit of drama with a smoky eye, but not too over the top. Pamela created a soft "bridal" look combined with a grey/taupe smoky eye that blew everyone away. My eyes looked huge and the makeup brought out the blue color wonderfully. Every person in my bridal party looked fantastic! She really took into account each personal style and created a customized look. Pamela was very professional, timely, and courteous. I plan to move to Charleston in a few years, and I look forward with excitement to the day where I can hire Pamela to do my make up again.

Pamela was a treasure to work with during my engagement and most importantly on my wedding day. She was available and flexible for my bridal portraits. Then we reviewed the pictures together, and decided what to change for the actual wedding day. On the day of the wedding, she came to my parent’s home, and was punctual and professional to the utmost degree. Pamela is AMAZING! I am very particular about my make-up, and Pamela did a FABULOUS job. I'm from Charleston but live in NYC and have worked with a couple different make-up artists in the City, but Pamela was by far the best. She did my make-up several times leading up to the wedding (trials, parties, portraits, etc) and did an outstanding job each time. She really listens to what you want, so you just look like a more beautiful version of yourself. My make-up lasted all night and all my bridesmaids (who have very different tastes in make-up style) were thrilled. All in all, Pamela is super talented, professional, and as sweet as can be. My portrait was stunning and I owe it all to her. My skin, which is not flawless, appeared flawless and my eyes looked brighter than ever. On our wedding day, Pamela brought all of her gear to the bridal suite and she managed to perfect my mom, sister, mother-in-law, and two sister-in-laws, and myself. That is 6 people and she did it in stride. She is so creative and we all looked different but beautiful. Pamela is a beautiful person inside and out and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. It is totally worth it!

I can't rave enough about how incredible Pamela was throughout the entire year leading up to our wedding and then, of course, in the week of the wedding! She was my third and final make-up trial and I'm so happy I didn't "settle" on someone before her. She has a wonderful demeanor and positive attitude -- essential qualities for her field. It's so important to have someone upbeat and calm during the fun chaos that often accompanies a wedding. Pamela went above and beyond to work with me in scheduling make-up applications for engagement photo session, boudoir photos, welcome dinner (rehearsal) night and wedding. She truly listened to my wants/needs and was very open and patient to my suggestions, questions and "revisions." Additionally, Pamela is extremely professional and amazingly talented! (The airbrush makeup is awesome and the lashes are unbelievable!) She got along wonderfully with all my other vendors she came in contact with as well as accomodating a very large wedding party and family members without any complaints. Pamela even carefully managed to sneak away and touch up dark undereye circle for the groom (w/ his consent!). His photos were great and saved our photographer from having to touch up dark circle...and NO one could tell in person! You will not be disappointed with Pamela Lesch Makeup!!!!

Pamela is a very talented make-up artist. I showed her a picture of the look I wanted for my wedding day and she nailed it during my trial run. My make-up was flawless during my wedding day and stayed looking beautiful for 16 hours. I love the false lashes she used, of which she applied perfectly. She created the perfect smokey eye, and her airbrushing looked flawless. My make-up in pictures was amazing. Moreover, Pamela is a kind, genuine person who truly cares about your happiness on your wedding day. She definitely surrounds you with love and warmth and sitting in her chair makes your stresses disappear. I highly recommend her!

I had the pleasure of having Pam as my make-up artist for my July 31, 2010 wedding. I reside in NY but traveled to SC for my wedding and met with 2 make-up artists. After both of my trials, it was very clear to both me and my family who was the best choice for me. Pam was very attentive, professional, and friendly. She looked at my complexion and found colors that matched me perfectly. I sat back, closed my eyes and let her do her thing. When I opened my eyes, I was astonished. I HATE a lot of make-up, so to open my eyes and still see myself in the mirror yet more beautified...it made me smile. I looked like a beautiful queen yet still looked natural. (And this was just the trial). I asked for a dramatic affect and she made my eyes pop like never before. My wedding venue changed due to closure of our first venue and when we informed Pam about the change, she was flexible and went along with the flow of our needs. Needless to say, my wedding day was a gorgeous event(We looked great is what I mean!). My bridal party looked wonderful, the flower girl was adorable with her lip color (which she loved), and I was gorgeous! I HIGHLY recommend Pamela Lesch. I can go on and on, but her work will totally speak for itself. She is amazing at her craft and including all of her other attributes, she is also extremely down to earth. I felt like I was chatting with one of my friends as I prepared for my wedding and her calm demeanor really helped me to relax. Pam was a dream come true! She came locked and loaded with MAC make-up and an Airbrush machine. She was worth every penny. She took the time to ensure she understood what I liked and what my comfort zone was. We did a trial run for my bridal shoot and she made me feel like a princess. My ‘day-beauty’ never faded and I never felt the need for touch-ups. My groom certainly didn’t have face imprint from me on his own face or suit, which is a major plus & detail that a lot don’t address in their testimonials. I enjoyed working with her too-she was easy conversationalist and met my every request, even when I may have been the overbearing bride demanding time changes on the day-of. I would recommend her to ALL of my friends for their weddings, special occasions or just to feel pretty for fun. Skip the silly make-up counters and go to her. She can give you the full on experience like no other make-up artist I’ve ever experienced. My bridesmaid who is getting married this weekend wanted to use her but she was already booked for another event-she’s a hot commodity and will need to be booked well in advance, much like Alhambra Hall is for the choice of venue!

Pamela was wonderful! She came highly recommended by my photographer, and I was not disappointed. As an older, 40-ish bride, it was important for me to look natural yet not washed out in my photos. I explained to Pamela that I did not wear much make up as a rule and wanted to look as much like "me" as possible. After several email conversations, I felt Pamela understood what I wanted so I booked her services. When I traveled to Charleston for the "trial run" make up application and we finally met in person, Pamela and I talked at length about what kind of look I wanted. Unlike some department store make up consultants who do what THEY think will look good, Pamela listens to you, studies your features, and does what YOU want. It's you, only better! :-) Pamela uses only quality (MAC) make up and brushes and she is very meticulous in the application. I LOVED what she did! I not only looked great for my photos but I felt I could go anywhere without looking like Lady Gaga! :-) Pamela was always flexible, on time and professional. I got married outside in SC in the summer yet my make up held up the entire time. On my wedding day, I felt beautiful and received tons of compliments on my make up. I also booked a make up lesson with her and purchased MAC products based on her recommendations. I would VERY highly recommend her for any special occasion!

My experience with Pamela was GREAT, beyond all of my expectations. I planned my wedding that took place at The Citadel while I was (and still am) living in Hawaii, and my fiance was deployed to Iraq. Planning a wedding is at times stressful and for myself planning it from Hawaii with my fiance deployed seemed to add a little extra stress. I had to do all of my research for a Charleston makeup artist, who offered airbrushing, online. After hours of looking, I came across Pamela's website it was a breath of fresh air, I called and booked her right away. I was unable to plan a trial run 3 months out like most brides, because I would not be in SC until the week before my wedding. Pamela put me at such ease and told me not to worry, that she would come to my hotel room the day of the rehearsal dinner for my trial. The day of the rehearsal she came early enough to look at all my magazine pictures, pictures of me in my dress, find the right light in the hotel room, and to find the perfect look for my wedding day. I was on time and looked great for my rehearsal dinner even with the pouring rain. Thank goodness the rain cleared for the day of the wedding! Pamela and my hair stylist arrived the morning of the wedding day and began working very cohesively on the bridesmaids and mothers. It was so awesome to have all the girls getting ready in my room, it was a great bonding experience before the walk down the aisle. Pamela has a unique gift of bringing positive, supportive and calm energy to the room, making everyone there including me (the bride) feel so comfortable and relaxed. She transformed all of us into our absolute best that lasted through out the entire day and evening.

I can't even begin to explain how much I LOVE the way Pamela did my makeup for my engagement pictures. She is absolutely phenomenal. To all you future brides out there, there is no comparison. I was a little nervous at first, but when she first did my make-up for my bridal protraits I immediately fell in love with her. She responded promptly, made me feel comfortable, and made arrangements to meet me anywhere, at anytime, if she was able to. She is very professional and uses MAC airbrush make-up. Pamela did the makeup for my wedding and portrait session. From the beginning, she knew exactly the look that I wanted for the day. She was easy to talk to and always professional. Every woman wants to look beautiful for her wedding, and her makeup is critical in making that happen. When I got married, I was undergoing chemotherapy, which presented additional challenges, like thinning eyebrows and eyelashes and unnatural skin color. Luckily, Pamela Lesch came to my rescue and performed magic! She did an awesome job, and my makeup looked great! Pamela Lesch is absolutely incredible. I have had several makeup artists do my make up through the years and NEVER have I looked as great as when Pamela worked with me. My pictures turned out so beautifully! She listened to me and she gave me exactly the look I wanted. She was so knowledgeable and such a pleasure to work with. I am confident that even after my wedding I will make an appointment with her on every trip I make to Charleston! She is FANTASTIC!

Pamela Lesch did wedding day make-up for me, my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law, and we were all SO pleased with the results. Even my most hesitant bridesmaids who don't wear a lot of make-up were shocked at how well Pamela enhanced their features, and I absolutely loved the bridal make-up she did for me. Everyone looks gorgeous in all of the pictures, even at the very end of the night. Most of all, we all loved Pamela's personality--everyone who sat in the chair came back inside and said, "can I please be friends with her??"!

Pamela is an amazing makeup artist. Besides being incredibly talented she is flexible, easy to work with, always prepared, creative, and super sweet.

Pamela was such a calming presence and a joy to have present on such a special day. Felt like I had known her forever just in the brief meetings we had together.
