After looking at many photographers and weighing out the packages and pricing we finally found our wonderful photographer Pamela Harvey! From the first conversation with Pam till the last hug goodbye at the end of the wedding Pam put all of our worries and stresses at ease. Pam worked with every little change that came, especially with Covid. Pam responded right away when we emailed her and we even had a video chat prior to the wedding to meet officially. Pam and her assistant where right there the day of the wedding when we needed them, and phased into the crowd when the party got started! They captured every part of our wedding day perfectly! Pam had our beautiful photos sent to us a week after the wedding! If you are looking for a photographer to capture your special moments look now further then Pamela Harvey!

Stunning Photos & an Amazing Experience with Pamela Harvey Photography
We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Pamela Harvey. From our engagement photo session to our wedding day, Pam was an absolute joy. She was professional, incredibly talented, and communicated with us every step of the way, which made everything feel easy and stress-free.
Pam captured the love between Nick and I so naturally and beautifully. She didn’t just take photos she preserved the moments that truly mattered. From Nick’s first look as I walked down the aisle, to our “kiss the bride” moment, to the bridal party and family portraits, every image felt heartfelt and intentional.

From the first time we met Pam, her warm personality and enthusiasm for photography came shining through! Pam was absolutely incredible to work with. From our engagement session to the wedding day. Our family and friends commented on how pleasant and professional Pam is. She makes you feel comfortable and truly is a friend. I would recommend Pam to anyone for any photography needs-her talent is flawless and so natural. The Pictures I Dreamed of Having!
Pam was recommended to us through a family friend. She shot our second wedding reception in Maryland at a nearby farm. We weren't able to get any outdoor photos from our first wedding due to the weather and our family photos ended up looking stiff and posed. When Pam sent us our photos, just days after the reception, I began to cry. They were so beautiful. She captured our family's love, our kids' quirky personalities, and the fun that we have as a family. I absolutely treasure all of the photos and had a hard time choosing which ones to enlarge and display in our home.
We will have to just rotate them because I loved them! You cannot go wrong with Pam and I am actually going to work with her for my professional headshots for work. She is incredibly talented! She is also so sweet to work with and very professional and responsive. I instantly felt like we have been friends for years when I met her.

Not only did she take beautiful photos of us and our family but she captured each perfect moment. Looking back on our photos I could feel the emotion and it helped me remember how I felt. Amazing Experience
I am so happy that Pamela Harvey Photography was available on my wedding day. She took excellent photos in both color and black & white. A true professional and a true friend!
Pam has been photographing my family events for over five years now. She's our go-to!! Senior and graduation photos, enagement shoots, baby showers, and weddings! She recently phorographed my wedding at the Concord Point Lighthouse in Havre de Grace, MD. Pam was super helpful in setting up a timeline and making adjustments as we brainstormed along - the timing, the locations, the photo ideas, and the weather. Oh man, the weather...
Pam is TOP TIER at communication from start to finish. We constantly talked, texted, and emailed about our weather watching worries and being prepared for rain. She reassured my mother and I that she would be there no matter what and that the ceremony and photos would turn out beautiful. I had even jokingly suggested shooting at Bomboy's Homemade Ice Cream Shop, and Pam reached out to ask permission from the owner for us just in case! Pam initiates and guides conversation, is very clear in her communication, and responds fast. Never be afraid to reach out - I've learned that there are no such things as dumb questions or ideas. She will let you know when the photos will be about ready and she's true to her word! From start to finish...
My loud and wacky family, an eight month old that had just been woken up, a reluctant two year old, and five year old bouncing off the walls. None of it phased Pam. She made the weather, setting, and situation fun and comfortable. Pam went with the flow - guiding when she needed to and blending into the background mostly. Everything just felt so natural. The photos turned out beautiful and I can't wait for more future sessions.

My dude and I are weird. We're feminist, anti-tradition, artsy weirdos. And I had no idea if we'd find someone in Harford County who could hang with that, but boy was I wrong! Pam didn't just roll with all the weirdness, she reveled in it! From our shoot jumping into a pool in full wedding gear to breaking out Frankenstein masks, Pam was thrilled to be part of the party. I cannot recommend her enough!
Not only is she up for anything, which is important, but she's also just a dang good photographer. She understands light, she knows how to set the stage, she's a brilliant composer of images. She has an eye for both beauty and whimsy, which is so amazing!

Exceeded all my expectations!
I can not write enough good things about hiring Pam as our wedding photographer! From working to put together a list of all our requests ahead of time, to amazing communications and professional manner Pam was a true dream of a photographer. I was blown away and held back tears when I saw the pictures she took of our wedding. Seeing the pictures Pam took made me even more happy about my wedding day if that's possible! Pam was able to capture beautiful posed pictures as well as intimate moments and fun candid pictures! I had several family members and friends remark on how kind and warm Pam was and it really felt like we were having a friend take our photos. I cant recommend Pam enough!

Absolute Perfection
My now husband and I needed to get married in a hurry. We hadn't met Pam previously but she came highly recommended and she did not disappoint. She jumped right in and was professional and super kind. She captured all of our special moments, our laughter, our tears and even our midday sparkler send off! The photos were beautiful. Pam made me and my husband look gorgeous. Usually I am so awkward in front of the camera but she had me totally relaxed and captured genuine and emotional moments. I cannot recommend her enough, especially if you want great candid shots as well as traditional wedding portraits. Her editing was quick and our photos are FABULOUS! 10/10!

Just Simply Amazing
Pam is literally the best. We canceled our wedding twice due to COVID , she was willing to do anything and everything we needed. She is the kindest, funniest , hard working, best photographer ever. She treats you like family from day one. We received photos from Pam the next freaking day. I was so shocked. My photos are beautiful and I honestly have no one else to thank but her. Pams work is above and beyond I have not had one photo from her that I didn’t like. Pam has all the ideas too you don’t have to plan anything she knows what photos to take and how to make it perfect. Best photographer ever
After two cancellations due to COVID the wedding finally happened. Pam worked with us through all of it. She even took photos on the date that we cancelled. She arrived early at the wedding for preparation photos and took so many photos throughout the day, during the ceremony, and the reception. And we had the pictures to look at three days later. She was always responsive to all requests and made everyone comfortable so the pictures turned out unbelievable. I would recommend Pam for any wedding, party or whatever you need a photogapher for.

We are obsessed with pam
Pam was amazing. We were so lucky to stumble upon her table at a bridal show back in January 2020 and everything fell into place from there. She was excellent to work with throughout the COVID-19 postponement process and even photographed us on our first planned wedding date - which is an unbelievably special memory for us.

Pam was a joy to have as our Daughter's photographer! She was in constant contact with us the whole time leading up to the wedding day! She offered several packages . The day of the wedding she was there early. Love the photo of our daughter and her husband exchanging rings with her grandfather as their minister, that is a priceless photo I will cherish forever. After our original wedding in Florida was postponed to February due to COVID, my fiancé and I decided we couldn't wait any longer and were going to have a micro ceremony with only our parents at his family home in Maryland. I was totally unfamiliar with the area and did not know any local vendors. Pam turned out to be the much needed rainbow at the end of our wedding-storm. We fell in love with her after my first email to her.
From the very start, Pam felt like an instant friend. Her communication was excellent and she had this presence about her that made us feel like she was part of the family, not just another client. I've worked in the event industry for many years and have worked with many vendors, and Pam falls in the top 1% of my favorites EVER.
Her personality was just the start, as her photos were amazing. She had them back to us much faster than we ever expected and she was sweet enough to give us a great preview of some of her favorites while we waited.

Amazing photos!
I contacted Pam to do a photo session of my girlfriend and I on a family farm. I told Pam, in my initial conversation with her, that I was planning a surprise proposal during the session and Pam's reaction was amazing! She was so excited and engaged in helping capture this special moment. Pam was so great throughout the whole process. The photos turned out great and Pam was able to capture the proposal! Pamela Harvey is an excellent photographer and a delightful person whose knowledge of her craft and skills, whose personal joy and passion for her profession are clearly apparent in each and every photo she takes. Pamela is a lovely person with which to work. Before, during, and after my daughter's wedding in October 2018, Pamela's presence was calming and joyful and her work ethic impeccable. Pamela was absolutely amazing. From beginning when asked last minute (day before) is getting legally married to come down and capture the amazing special day. Amazing and Beautiful photos!
The best word to describe Pam is amazing! I met Pam at a local Bridal Show and was immediately interested in working with her. Out of all the photographers I talked to that day, Pam was the most outgoing, she was the only one that approached me rather than waiting for me to speak with her. She was more interested in talking with me about what I wanted in a photographer then selling me the products she thought I needed. We used Pam for both our engagement photos and our wedding and they photos are phenomenal. Pam did everything as a single shooter but you never would have realized it, she somehow managed to get so many amazing shots from different angles in a very short amount of time. Pam made everything super fun, she listened to our requests and wasn’t afraid to make suggestions of her own. Pam took her time editing the photos but kept us constantly in the loop by sending us photos almost every day so we could get a sneak peak of everything. Typically photographers take upwards of a month to get photos back (I have heard so many stories of it taking multiple months) but not Pam! We had all of our digital photos within 6 days of the wedding!
There is one thing besides being an amazing photographer that I need to call out. The day of the wedding while we were getting ready we began to run behind schedule (it was due to an error on our venues part) and a lot of people including myself became very nervous about it. My husband and I didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, but he knows me well and knew that I would be a nervous wreck. Pam spoke with him and confirmed his suspicions. He gave her a message to pass along to me and she did it without hesitation. Pam was a huge help in keeping the situation calm and ensuring everyone made it to the ceremony. Perfect Wedding Photographer!

Boudoir Session
After several months of consideration, I recently decided to do a Boudoir Session with Pam. After two children and almost nine years of marriage, I thought it would be the perfect birthday present for my husband. Little did I know it would end up being a priceless gift to myself. I am so glad I pushed past my fear and hesitation and went for it!
From the moment I contacted Pam, she guided me through the process. She prepped me by having me answer questions about myself and my marriage. It was the perfect way for me to reflect about what I wanted out of the session. She offered suggestions on outfits, as well as different locations in my home to shoot. Leading up to the session I was very nervous, but Pam put me at ease the moment she walked in the door. It ended up being such a fun 3 hours with lots of laughs!
Pam followed up in a very timely manner with my photos via Skype. It was so fun to look through the photos with Pam. She helped me pick the final photos for an album. The next day the proof of the album was waiting in my email and I was blown away. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the photos turned out. Pam far surpassed my expectations.
To any woman who is considering a Boudoir Session, I encourage you to call Pam. She is professional, incredibly talented and so much fun to work with!! I am so glad I did!

After viewing the beautiful work in Pam’s collection, I contacted her to set up our first-ever photo session for our family of five. I couldn’t have been happier with the entire process. Exceeded Any and All Expectations!
Pam was overall fantastic to work with. She made everything easy and stress-free, going through the whole process from the planning to the day of action. She was always prompt to any meetings as well as the day of, and was even super helpful in the positioning and planning to get the best angles and photographs. You can tell from the start that she is super knowledgeable in what she does, and you can also tell by the beautiful pictures she takes and scenes she creates! She conducts herself with the utmost professionalism, and is extremely personable. She gave great suggestions and ideas when I was unsure of what I wanted, and also made sure to capture all of the moments I knew I wanted to document. I was so thrilled with the shots from our wedding. She sent them to us in a very timely manner, and was super patient with us when life got busy and I wasn't always on top of responding to my emails. My husband and I smiled, laughed, and loved reminiscing about our perfect day when looking through our photos done by Pam. I cannot recommend her enough for the incredible services she provides! Pam is the best of the best. She has been photographing our family for the past 2 1/2 years. From our engagement session, boudoir session, wedding, and now family photographs she knows us and gets us. She is part of our family. The quality of Pam's photos and her natural style are what set her apart. There is no formal posing and everything is relaxed. For someone who is not comfortable in front of the camera, she makes you comfortable. Her sessions are filled with laughter and dialogue and you do not even know she is taking pictures.
When it comes time to view the finished product Pam sits down with you through Skype and you get to view the photos together. This added feature provides that extra personal touch! You get to talk about the photos, how you feel when you look at them, and see what products she has available - because that is the MOST important thing, displaying these photos. I liken photos to being the only way to document memories and what good are memories if they are sitting on a hard drive somewhere. Being able to display these works of art is what I love the most.
Pam's work is addicting. Once you start using her to document you and your family's life you will never be able to find another photographer that matches her skill, style, and personality.
To put it simply - we love Pam and will use her for all of our photos from now until eternity.
(She also loves black and white photography which I LOVE - pretty sure I only picked black and white photos from our latest session with her)!!!

Pam did an amazing job photographing our wedding. We are so happy we chose her. She was super professional and responsive throughout the entire planning process. The day of she showed up early, and was a calming force as we were getting ready. She got some great shot. We challenged her with some large group shots, two feisty flower girls, and even my dog. She was super patient and got some great shots of even the hardest models. Pam immediately sent us some sneak peaks the very next day!!!! and we had all our photos within one week!!!!! Would highly recommend Pam!!!

Pam is amazing! She really makes you feel comfortable with taking photographs (if you're a little camera shy) and she is always asking you for your input. She is very flexible, I had an experience where my first shoot was cancelled because of snow, but she STILL called and asked if I wanted to do the shoot. We ended up rescheduling and she was very patient with that. Overall Pam Harvey photography is 10 out of 10 and I highly recommend her to all!

Pam is an extraordinary talent, her pictures are proof. She takes the time to get to know you beforehand, being photographed was like meeting and old friend, comfortable, natural and enjoyable. Her creativity and excitement as the camera was clicking was infectious. It was an absolutely wonderful journey from start to finish. No occasion necessary, no wedding, baby, just me and the camera and I would have never expected to say that at 41 years of age I just had the best photograph taken of myself, but it’s true, thanks to Pam.

Of all my Wedding Vendors, Pamela was my favorite!
She required very low amounts of input from me (wedding planning is time consuming, and I had little time to spare). She could pivot on a dime when it became apparent that the large crane in the middle of our main photo-shoot location was going to be an "issue", finding a beautiful park full of Autumn leaves for a stunning backdrop.
I am a little "photo phobic", and was pleasantly surprised to find that every shot captured the beauty of the days event, the love of family & friends, and also made a very "self-conscious bride" feel beautiful.
