I can't say enough about this beautiful soul! She officiated my daughter's wedding and mesmerized us all. The ceremony was flawless as she could, with so much ease and compassion flow from one part to another. Wonderful experience!
My husband I decided to get married where he proposed, in Snowshoe, West Virginia. Sadly, this meant my childhood pastor would not be able to perform our ceremony. We were concerned about where to even begin. Thankfully, Pam made the process painless. She answered all of my questions and did a great job of walking me through the process. There were a few mix ups during the ceremony, outside of her control, but she did an outstanding job improvising and made sure the ceremony went as smoothly as possible. Excellent Intimate Service
We decided to do a private marriage (signature service) and have a small reception and a big honeymoon instead of a formal wedding. Pam was excellent in responding and having our special date available (which for us was in early March). Pam was very friendly and kind. She took our pictures for us as well. Truly the best of the best
When I first started working as a wedding officiant in WV in 2014 Pam was the only officiant I could find, at that time, working as an officiant and doing so in a truly professional manner. I know for a fact that she goes out of her way to make sure the ceremony that she creates for her couples is the perfect ceremony for them. She is personable and professional and when you talk with her you can tell right away that she has a genuine interest in you.
Pam has always been gracious to help anytime I had a question or concern about one of my weddings and she has become a trusted mentor and a true friend.
Pam won the Best of The Best in the officiant category from WV Wedding Magazine for 2023, and in my opinion she is just that, The Best of The Best!

On 10/12/23, I was blessed to marry my best friend and the love of my life. Pastor Pam officiated our small, but intimate ceremony. She was kind, genuine, and had such a beautiful way with her words. She also provided a list of steps for myself on the process of changing my name which was very helpful, and provided us a portfolio of photos from our day that we will cherish forever. We would do it all over again, and would not change one single thing.

Perfect Elopement Ceremony
My husband and I wanted to hold a small, intimate wedding ceremony (only the 2 of us, no guests) at a location to where we frequently traveled and held a special place in our hearts. As I researched wedding officiants near the area that we desired, I came across overwhelmingly positive reviews for Pam Powers Moore. From the very first contact with Pastor Pam, I knew that we found our ideal wedding officiant. Pastor Pam was very responsive and extremely helpful during the entire process. Neither my husband or I had a clue as to what to include in a private wedding ceremony and Pastor Pam took us by the hand and guided us every step of the way. The ceremony draft that Pastor Pam put together and sent for our review was so touching, I became emotional and shed a few tears partway through reading it and I’m not normally a “crier”. Pam encouraged us to make any changes or revisions as we saw fit, however what she put together was simply perfect and we did not change a thing. Pam made herself available to us and answered any questions that we had prior to our ceremony.
As it turns out, I suddenly became very sick (food poisoning) on our big day. I was so ill that I was not able to sit upright for hours that morning and again minutes leading up to our ceremony time. I sent my husband to be to greet Pastor Pam upon her arrival and to let her know that I was not well and running a little behind. I arrived about 10 or 15 minutes late to our ceremony and to my delight, Pastor Pam was not upset at all. She was so very kind and patient with us. Her demeanor and warm smile were the calming presence that I needed after being so stressed out over being sick.
The wedding ceremony was better than I could even imagine. Thanks to Pam, it was absolutely perfect! I’m convinced that she even had something to do with the rainy weather clearing up in time for our ceremony and for the remainder of the day. I cannot say enough about her professionalism, attention to detail and kindheartedness. Pam took extra care to make our elopement ceremony very special and did she ever deliver! We cannot thank her enough for everything that she did to make our wedding day just perfect along with the extra special and unexpected touches. Having Pam as our officiant was a blessing and we are so grateful. If you are hesitant to hire Pastor Pam as your wedding officiant, rest assured. You would be hard pressed to find a better officiant or a warmer, more caring person on this planet.

A Wonderfully Personalized Service!
For a few years now, my girlfriend and I have spent a lot of time in the summer months traveling to various parks in WV. So, when we began planning for our wedding, nine to ten months prior, we started looking for an out-of-town pastor who might marry us on one of our trips. We wanted a small service (with just she, I, and the pastor), but "small" should not mean we needed to settle for something that wasn't also special. Personal. Memorable. We absolutely did not want a cookie-cutter, generic, “say your vows and go down the road” type wedding.
After much review, I contacted Pastor Pam Powers Moore. She impressed me so much so that I didn't even call any other pastors. Within a very short period we had a date and time locked in! We had decided on the venue Heaven’s Grace. Pastor Pam touched base with me from time to time over the next six months or so, and she was always responsive when I corresponded with her.
About a month out, Pastor Pam sent me a draft for our wedding, asking for our review, requesting revisions/additions/corrections, etc. When I reviewed it – what a wonderful surprise! It was extremely clear she must have taken good notes during our communications, because the draft for OUR wedding was specific to US!!! We didn't ask her to change a thing!
Our day finally came, and our service was conducted. Pastor Pam was so very kind, personable, well spoken, and accommodating to our wishes. She clearly has a true passion for what she does. She takes both the content and the execution of her ceremonies seriously. We wanted a special, personal, and memorable wedding and that is EXACTLY what Pastor Pam Powers Moore gave us!!!
Last thing, simply because some folks reading the reviews may want to know…. The price. I assure you, the great ceremony we received versus what we paid? It was worth every single penny!

First things first: book Pam Powers Moore for your marriage ceremony!! I can’t say that enough. You will be so happy that you did. My now husband and I have been together a while, but declining health with a beloved family member put us in a position of wanting and needing to put together our marriage ceremony quickly. Our Perfect Day!
Our Vow Renewal was everything we had dreamed of and more! Pam Powers Moore took the time to write a beautiful ceremony for us that highlighted everything that was pertinent to a couple recommitting themselves to one another. It was so touching and beautiful, it was like she already knew us! She took the time to take multiple photos of us and told us that she will be creating collage pics for us to cherish in the years ahead….I can’t wait to see them! We received a beautiful certificate suitable for framing to commemorate our special day! Amazing Wedding Officiant-Unique and Beautiful Ceremony!
Pastor Pam truly made our wedding day magical! I can't say enough about how amazing she has been throughout this entire process. From the moment I found her, I told her her it felt "meant to be". Pam poured her heart and soul into writing our ceremony and took the time to really get to know us and learn about our love story. We opted for one of her ceremonial add-ons- the Butterfly Release! It was nothing short of MAGICAL. Our guests raved that they had never experienced such a unique and beautiful unity ceremony. Pam helped with every step along the way- helping me to find and order the butterflies from the perfect company, to incorporating our connection to the butterfly effortlessly into our ceremony. Perfect ceremony & pictures. Pam did the research to create the perfect experience for us. We wanted Irish and that is exactly what we got. Music, oathing stone, handbinding, and barefoot! Our ceremony was phenomenal and she and her husband captured it all! We couldn't have asked for a better officiant! Pam ROCKS!!

Words cannot express how wonderful Pam made our experience. Our daughter and new son are both in the military and were home on leave to visit and get married. Perfect Day!
My fiance and I wanted a very small, private ceremony for just the two of us. This ended up being the perfect place! The drive alone to the location is beautiful and makes you even more excited. One of the prettiest country roads I have ever been on. Pam wrote beautiful vows for us and made it very personal. We weren't really planning on photos, just one at the end was all we wanted, but Pam took several and I cherish them now with all my heart! She made it the perfect day in all ways possible! I am so thrilled with the whole experience.

Our wedding at Havens Grace
Pam is such a blessing to me and my husband and our family!!! We had our wedding short notice but it was more than we could have imagined! Great space for any wedding and she did the entire ceremony and took any pictures we would like with family and all! We even did an add on for a sand ceremony that is very special to our hearts! We both have children from previous relations and she made sure to include them throughout the ceremony. Pastor Pam was just so amazing helping to organize our big day. It was very last minute when I realized I had everything planned for the wedding except for the fact that I had forgotten to find an officiant! I read reviews from many possible candidates but pastor Pam just seemed like the perfect fit. She was so nice and flexible to my last minute planning. She typed up our entire ceremony so that we could read it and make sure it fit our personalities and vision for our wedding. We had a large bridal party with some goof ball groomsmen and she handled them wonderfully and made everyone laugh and feel comfortable. I can not recommend her enough!!

Sweet Song Ministries is a very unique and affordable service that is offered by Pam. She offers many ways to have a wedding the way you and your partner envision it. Pam is a gentle soul that has words of wisdom for now and forever on the future of your marriage. My husband I took our vows on her property and it was perfect for us and our children. The day was filled with fun and joy as we became one and one family unit. I wouldn't have changed anything. Pam and the photographer Jimmy Clark helped make our day special and we really are very happy with the outcome of the ceremony!

Best Experience Ever!!!
We had hired Pastor Pam for a small wedding in a tiny church in Elkins, W.V. She was so gracious to meet us last minute and prepared the most beautiful ceremony and vows for us. It was a very memorable and loving ceremony, and my husband and I are so grateful for her. She was so helpful and gave us a wonderful feeling about her marrying us. We are so blessed to have had her and would recommend her to any couple looking to have the best experience possible in getting married. My husband and I are both so happy she was able to bless us in the most important day of our lives.

We contacted Pam well in advance of our ceremony and booked her servive immediately.
Everything about our experience with her was perfect. Very detail oriented and accommodating to all our requests and wishes. She even traveled 3 hrs each way for us. She made our day everything we wanted it to be, and have since remained friends. She is a great lady and we definitely recommend her for all your officiant needs.

Pam made it such an absolutely wonderful day for our elopement !
Pam’s customized vows and blessings for us were so very touching and accurate for our situation and we could not have asked for anything more for our special day! She was available for us in such short notice and was extremely sweet to have given us her written vows for us on a printed copy that we will be able to look back on and remember every single word spoken !

Pam was so wonderful! My husband and I had a very short time window of time that would work for us ( we have crazy schedules to work around being an active military family) Pam was very understanding and more than accommodated our needs. The service was BEAUTIFULLY written, and her home (which is where our service was held) is so beautiful. Pam really goes above and beyond to get to know her clients, and it really shows! I definitely 100% recommend using her services!

A wonderful experience
She is lovely and provides a wonderful wedding experience. Such warmth and caring in person and thoughfulness within her writing of the vows. She was flexible to help us to meet our needs very quickly and was very responsive from the beginning of setting up all of the details to the conclusion of the service. She went above and beyond to even provide wedding pictures as we had eloped.
