Hannah did such a great job understanding what WE wanted our makeup to look like. Not what Instagram said wedding makeup should look like, not what our parents would have done... she really listened to us. I'm very feminine, and my (now) wife is more of a tomboy, and she really did an amazing job listening to us and understanding what sort of makeup would make us feel like ourselves (but elevated!) when we walked down the aisle. -

I asked Hannah and her team to help me and my friends with our hair and makeup the morning of my wedding. Hannah went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with my wedding day look. We had a pre-meeting test run for hair and make up, and she really listened to what I wanted and gave really helpful advice and tips. I had hair extensions, and she even prepped them for me advance! We ended up changing my look from test run to final day, and she was extremely flexible with my desires. Highly recommend! -

Hannah was so amazing, I cannot recommend her enough. She was super easy to get in touch with and responsive before the wedding. I was so glad I did the trial as Hannah talked me through all of the options, made sure I was totally comfortable, had me take notes on what I liked and didn’t like and was just fun to talk to and hang out with. The day of she was so efficient. My bridesmaids were not prepared with what they wanted and basically just asked for any up do and they all loved what she did. The makeup all looked gorgeous. Hannah was super patient with some of my not so easy to work with family members. She made my makeup look exactly how I wanted it and my hair looked stunning. Everyone’s hair and makeup lasted all night. She is super warm while also being professional and clearly wanted us all to feel our best! I would hire her and her team again in a heartbeat! -

Highly recommend!
Hannah is a delight to work with and made the communication process very easy (in fact, the day before my wedding, a situation came up that was 100% not in her control, and she contacted me immediately with options to resolve it with the least amount of stress). She gives you input, but really puts the ball in your court and trusts you to make the right decisions for your own wedding.
We had 8 total people receiving services, and Hannah and Sharna were super efficient and made everyone look incredible. It was a hot day and our makeup still looked flawless at the end of the night!
Also... trust Hannah about the lashes. You'll look amazing. -

Hannah is super talented and was a pleasure to work with. We had my hair and make up trail 3 days before the wedding, and that was great for me because I was able to make small tweaks the day-of without obsessing over it for too long. She was down a staff member due to an emergency and was able to do 5 hair and makeup services by herself and everyone looked amazing. The photos speak for themselves. I'd recommend Hannah and Palindrome to any bride! -

I hired Hannah to come onsite for my wedding in Sept 2020. She did an amazing job, so glad I picked her! I did my trial with her ahead of time and she colored my hair as well. I didn't really know the exact look I was going for at the trail. She ended up combining two looks I loved for an amazing look! I loved my hair and stayed perfect all day/night.
She also did my small party and was super efficient at getting everyone done.
I highly recommend hiring Hannah for your wedding, you will not regret it! -

I got married 10/30/2020. Hannah was amazing and showed up on time. I was deciding between traditional makeup and airbrush makeup. Hannah was able to explain to me the benefit of both and I ultimately went with airbrush, which I was glad I did because it turned out great.
She did a great job with with my bridesmaids' hair and makeup, everyone was happy. During the last hour, I asked Hanna if she could work on my mother's hair, which was not part of the original plan, but Hannah said yes. I'm happy to have used her service. I highly recommend Palidrome Hair. -

Maddie from Palindrome did the makeup for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding and she did an amazing job! Everyone looked beautiful without looking over done. Hannah was very response and fair in terms of pricing and communication too. -

Hannah is absolutely incredible! Not only did she create the exact style I wanted, it held up the ENTIRE night in rainy weather. I got rained on twice (good luck, right!?) and it was 86% humidity on my wedding day and I was so happy and couldn't believe that my hair stayed and looked gorgeous all night! Hannah is experienced professional and super talented and I would highly recommend her for your wedding party. Also should note that our wedding was in the middle of COVID and she was super prepared and professional dealing with all of that as well. Excellent service and team! -

Hannah was great for my wife and I on our wedding day! We had a lot of girls who were all over the place and things got a bit chaotic but she hung in there and executed everything flawlessly! Our makeup turned out perfect and all our bridesmaids were in love with theirs as well!
The airbrush is definitely worth the extra. My makeup didn’t move or smudge through tears or humidity.
It is hard in times like these to find vendors that are LGBT friendly and Hannah definitely fits the bill. We highly recommend her for your wedding! -

I found Palindrome via a suggestion from another bride in my friends group after my original make up option canceled with less than 24hrs before my wedding day (!!!) and thank God.
Madalyn was my make up artist and she made me feel so beautiful and comfortable throughout the whole process, even with only having met me that day. She saw my vision and made it happen and I have to say she matched my airbrush skin tone EXACTLY. It felt so natural but also fancy, I loved it.
My mother got her make up done (which she never does) and I could just tell she felt like it was her special day too. We were able to get in an additional bridesmaid last minute as well which was much appreciated. Madalyn also made sure to use one time/disposable make up applicators and wore a mask and gloves so that I always felt safe (especially with COVID) and had one less thing to worry about.
Highly recommend! In fact, I've been converted and will use them for my May reception as well. Such a great experience! -

As a bare-faced, crazy-haired tomboy, I was nervous about booking a hair and makeup artist for my wedding. Hannah was wonderfully personable, calming, and got right to the heart of what I wanted, regardless of the conflicting ideas I was throwing out. I absolutely loved our trial (and finally looked nice for a company party!), and she was so helpful in narrowing down my accessory options to make sure they worked. I also loved how specific she was in regard to hair/skincare leading up to the day, as I was transitioning to unscented products. We tested everything out to make sure I didn't react poorly, and she had lots of great insight.
Hannah showed up bright and early to our hotel the day-of, and was funny and charming to myself and my party. Everyone loved the look, and it lasted the whole day, through ceremony, brewery hopping, and dancing through the night!
Hannah is AWESOME! -

Hannah & Kelly did an amazing job! Given our short engagement, they were available with 2 months' notice and extremely flexible. I absolutely loved my hair, and it stayed perfect through the entire night and lots of dancing. :) I gave Hannah varying styles and she was able to do exactly what I was looking for, and I really appreciate it. Hannah is extremely punctual and responsive. My emails to her throughout the process of planning would get a reply from her in under an hour. She was so friendly and easy to work with leading up to the wedding and was instrumental in creating a positive and upbeat atmosphere in the ladies' room on the morning of the wedding. I am not someone who knows a lot about hair or makeup, so she was very patient with me throughout the process and helped me to create a look that felt very personalized, accounting for my skin tone (she really understands makeup for women of all races), dress color, flowers, and personality. On top of all of this, the price she was offering her incredible services for is unbeatable. You won't be disappointed if you decide to hire Palindrome. -

I worked closely with Hannah to plan the vision for my wedding hair and make-up. She was always prompt in her responses and professional and upfront in communication. Hannah was able to look through my Pinterest board and understand my vision even when I was sometimes confused and distracted. During the practice run, Hannah listened to my desire for a vintage 60s style, offered helpful hints, and was extremely personable and professional during the whole process. On my actual wedding day, Hannah was organized, on time, and did an amazing job with my hair (remembered exactly what I liked and didn't like during my practice run). My hair and make up lasted perfectly the entire day and I had multiple people compliment it. Even the photographer, who had seen hundreds of brides, mentioned that she was completely obsessed with the style! Hannah is worth every penny and I give her my most whole-hearted endorsement!

Overall, Palindrome was great at providing hair and makeup services. Hannah was my main point of contact, and was always quick to respond to any questions or clarifications I had. Prices are comparable to today’s norms. Lucy and Kelly provided makeup and hair services for my trial and for the day of. They managed a larger wedding party well - carrying themselves in a calm, cool, collected manner, which fit in perfectly with our group for the morning of. They arrived at our venue on time, and everyone’s services were finished with time to spare. I’m thankful I went with Palindrome, and would highly recommend to anyone! -

After a negative hair trial with a different vendor (Glamour Beauty), I looked into booking Palindrome a month before my wedding. Hannah (the owner) was extremely responsive to my emails and replied to me within about five minutes. I was impressed by how quickly she was able to set up a hair trial for me (within a couple of days). Additionally, hair and makeup trials are half the price of their day-of services. I couldn't find a better deal anywhere else.
I was impressed that my hair stylist, Krista, came to my home for my hair trial. She listened to what I wanted and made me feel confident that I would look beautiful on my wedding day. I booked Palindrome soon after my trial was done.
I was also impressed with Palindrome's contract. First of all, you can find it on their website, so you know what you're getting into before booking with them. Second, it's short and reasonable. The deposit is only $100, and you can cancel prior to 30 days before your event for a full refund. With my other vendor, the deposit was 50% of the total cost, and you had to cancel within 24 hours of booking to get a full refund. Palindrome's prices were also very reasonable.
One thing to be aware of with Palindrome is that communication isn't always the most clear. While Hannah is very quick to respond, she doesn't always provide full explanations. For example, she didn't tell me the names of my hair and makeup artists or when they would arrive on my wedding day. I requested that they come around 10:30, which was when my hair stylist arrived. However, my makeup artist still hadn't arrived by 11:00. I emailed Hannah, who replied seeming flustered (she said the artist was on her way!). The makeup artist arrived around noon and gave me a $10 discount for being late. It ended up working out just fine, and it didn't cause me any stress. -

I booked Palindrome for my and my wedding party's wedding hair. Hannah was responsive and easy to work with, other than a couple items that I wish I would have known upfront. 1) I did not realize at the time that I booked that I would not be able to even schedule a trial run until 6 weeks before the wedding. So if I would have been disappointed with the trial run, there would have been no time to book another stylist ~a month prior to the wedding. 2) I was under the impression that we would have a 2nd stylist if needed. I reached out to Hannah prior to the wedding to request a 2nd stylist and was informed that 9 up dos (including the bride) was doable in 4 hours. We ended up having a bridesmaid cancel due to COVID and it took the full 4 hours for 8 of us. We would have been far behind schedule with the 9 I paid for, which wouldn't have been Krista's fault. She was moving fast, but that was an unrealistic schedule. All in all Krista was great. Good value. Just wished some of the policies could have been more flexible. -

Overall, I was very impressed with Hannah’s work. I loved how she worked with my hair and helped me come up with a style for my wedding day. She was very responsive and came earlier than the time I requested. However, the one drawback is the fact that my curls fell flat after the first look and before the ceremony. One of my bridesmaids had to curl my hair again before walking down the aisle. Despite that, I appreciate her work, flexibility and affordability. I would definitely recommend her. -

On-site Hair and Makeup - Palindrome - 7/10
Hair was great. We had Kelly and she was very nice and on time with each service as she needed to get 10 women done in a few hours.
Makeup was mediocre especially for the higher prices we paid. We had Molly Ray for our makeup artist. I got my makeup done around 11am and already by 1pm before my first looks the eyeshadow was coming off and my lashes were coming off. She also charged each women $12 extra which I had to request back later due to that being different than what the contract stated. Hannah the owner informed me that their prices went up recently and that’s where she charged the new prices accidentally. Palindrome also has a $100 booking fee that does not get applied to your services which is unusual. They also have various teams doing makeup for several weddings. My specific team did not get back about trial dates until 5 weeks before the wedding which was a little too close for my comfort. All in all, I would choose a different vendor for hair and makeup and would not recommend based on the team that I had. -

Overall, everyone at Palindrome is enthusiastic and eager to help. Hannah's response time is incredible! As someone who never wears makeup, the trial made me very comfortable with Malena. Unfortunately though, Malena went into labor the week of the wedding, making the trial a waste of time and money. The girls who came in her place were unprepared, and I basically had to try to explain everything again. It turned out okay (although not as good as Malena's work at the trial). I definitely was frustrated at the lack of preparation when Palindrome knew full well how far along Malena was.
