  There is probably not enough space to write the endless list of great things to say about Ashley and Painted Peacock Photography. Ashley was referred to us by Events By Sarah and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the first phone call and coffee date, I hired Ashley immediately and never looked back. Our wedding was in North Texas and my (now) husband and I were planning our wedding from out of state, Ashely being located in Houston was never an issue! She made us always feel like she was right next door, answering questions whenever we had them, helping out with outfit ideas, locations for shoots, and always being flexible with our schedule and the limited time we were in Texas. Ashley did everything - engagements, boudoir, bridals, and the wedding and is more than a vendor to us now, she’s a friend! We hired both photographers for our wedding, and while we had never met Clay until the day of, he clicked with the guys immediately and Brian and his boys had a great, painless time, with all of the pictures.
  
  One of the best things we loved about Ashley is her easy-going shooting style (she’s everywhere!) and the fact that she knew us almost instantly! She captures the best out of individuals and couples making for a truly unique experience and end result in the photographs. During our honeymoon my dad was sad our dance went by so quickly and didn’t think we had any pictures of it, when I needed to show my dad that we had pictures of our first dance I texted Ashely during our honeymoon and within seconds I had a preview that I could send my emotional father, that is just a glimpse of the incredible customer service and dedication that Ashely provides her clients. Ashley will be our forever-photographer, even if that means flying to Texas to her, or flying her to us! Stop your search now and hire Painted Peacock Photography!

  Ashley photographed my wedding on May 28th, 2016 at Chateau Cocomar and I could not have been more blessed to have found The Painted Peacock Photography! I wanted someone who could take breathtaking images and capture every minute of such a momentous day for my husband and me, but I ended up getting so much more than I could have possibly hoped. Ashley’s photography work is not only amazing but her professionalism and sweet character are out of this world! The same day that I first sent her an email inquiring about her availability for my wedding date she followed up with a phone call to get to know me a little better and see if we were a good match for each other. This made such an impression with me because I knew she didn’t just snap photos at weddings but that she builds a relationship with her clients and truly cares about them. Ashley also took my bridal portraits, which were pushed back to the week before the Wedding thanks to Texas weather, and edited every photo that night and got them back to me the next afternoon so that I could order a portrait to be displayed at the wedding. She had let me know that she was going to be at my bridal portraits no matter when I scheduled them for and that she would have a portrait ready by the Wedding! This was the nicest thing that any vendor did for me during my entire wedding planning process. On the day of the wedding she was everywhere and always with me all at once. I couldn’t believe how many detail shots she snapped because it seemed like she was always right next to me capturing the moment. All of my family and friends mentioned at some point how bubbly and nice she was and also how efficient! Ashley has such an eye for the beauty and true meaning at weddings and her ability to reflect that in her photos is a gift. I am so thankful for Ashley and I would absolutely recommend The Painted Peacock Photography to anyone that wants a truly gifted photographer and new friend that will enjoy your day just as much as you!

  Ashley is such an amazing Photographer here in the Houston area. I am a wedding planner myself and was recommended to her from my partner and my husband and I immediately fell in love with her and her quality of work. She is a boss with the camera. But she is also great at guidance and making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. For someone that does not feel photogenic and doesn't take selfies it was nerve racking for me, but from the moment we met her for our engagement photos, she is telling you how to stand, fixing you hair, and just talking you through the whole process that your nervousness just disappears. And then when you get the photos you are so confident in her and in yourself. Ashley herself is extremely passionate in her work and you can tell by the way she just goes nuts when there is a great shot with the sun setting behind you or just the way the couple is looking at each other, it makes you want to have her with you everywhere you go! I am looking forward to working with Ashley in the future at other weddings and I fully recommend her to anyone needing a Photographer!

  Ashley was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! If you get the chance to work with her - take it! Instead of being a distraction on our wedding day, she added joy to it. She shot our engagement photos (and was flexible with us when it rained!), my bridals, and our wedding. Our engagement shots really captured our personalities and love for each other, my bridal shots looked like they could've been in a magazine, and our wedding photos were just perfect. Every time I look through the wedding photos, I feel like I'm re-living the day all over again. Ashley is creative, bubbly, professional, and easy to work with, and I loved watching her love what she does. I highly recommend her!

  Ashley was amazing during my engagement shoot. She was able to capture so many beautiful moments with my fiancé and I together. She truly is a talented and creative photographer and has an eye for detail and thinking outside the box. Ashley is an awesome photographer, not only is she super friendly and easy to work with, but you can tell she loves what she’s doing and has a passion for photography. It was a pleasure working with her. I cannot wait to work with Ashley and Painted Peacock Photography again in the future!

  We selected Painted Peacock Photography to take the journey with us to Jamaica for our destination wedding. I feel that wedding photos are really important because after the wedding is over, you have the pictures as memories of that special day. I was hoping for really good photos, but Painted Peacock Photography went above and beyond my expectations! Ashley captured some really amazing moments. Ashley is so talented and creative; she really listens to what it is that you want. Looking back I feel like deciding who was going to do the pictures was the most important decision of all of the wedding plans....and Painted Peacock Photography was the BEST decision I could have ever made.

  Ashley is amazing! Not only are her photos creative and beautiful, but she is a wonderfully sweet person. Some of the best pictures from our wedding were not the posed pictures but the moments she captured when we weren't looking. These are priceless memories. Ashley is very professional, easy going and flexible. She will do whatever it takes to make the day perfect and to make sure you are very happy. Ashley has become part of our family, and she is the only person that I will trust to capture all of our special moments. Not only did she photograph the wedding, she has taken my maternity pictures, pictures of the baby, and birthday parties. I am never disappointed with the results, and she always manages to surprise me with what she captures on film.

  I was really hopeful when I hired Ashley to shoot my wedding. She presented herself as a flexible photographer who could shoot any style. The wedding day was disorganized, and she did not follow the shot list. On top of that, she did not listen to my requests on images. I had sent her inspiration images and specific instructions beforehand. I do not have any good pictures of my first dance with my husband and an overwhelming number of the reception pictures were awkward. She also didn't capture images of all my centerpieces and decor, which I had walked her through prior to the event. I do not recommend hiring Painted Peacock, you will be disappointed. I've heard negative things from others that hired Ashely as well. The only positive thing is that Ashley is sweet and did try to fix the issue, but a wedding isn't something you can do over.
