Oyster Point Hotel Reviews

I had my wedding here in July and Rachel was a joy to work with! She helped and supported me through the whole wedding planning process - from the very start of viewing the venue, to when we booked, all the way until the day of. She was super responsive to emails and even offered to meet me in person the couple months leading up to the wedding. We were over the moon with how everything turned out and couldn't recommend The Oyster Point enough!

We had our wedding at Oyster Point this past summer and absolutely loved it! In slightly more detail:

- The food is fantastic (they don't do food tastings, but don't worry it's great. The hors d'oeuvres were exceptionally good, but the seated meals were also good).
- The space is also fantastic.
- Our Maitre' D (Odelia) was engaged, responsive, and great.
- Our point of contact (Jessica) was super engaged, super responsive, and easy to work with. There were some minor snags on the day of, but Jessica was available to fix everything promptly.
- The price was quite competitive with comparable venues.
- They're familiar with many vendors in the area, and coordinating was seamless.

One note to be aware of: ultimately, everything about our wedding was amazing, and everything Oyster Point offered was fantastic (especially for the price). But, there were a few details we got surprised by along the way (where exactly an outdoor ceremony could be held, when the reserved space becomes available for use, space for groomsmen to get ready). All of these eventually got worked out, and the evening was truly perfect. And Jessica was responsive and friendly in managing questions as they came up. But, I would either be prepared for minor things to come up along the way and roll with it, or consider being fairly detail-oriented on the initial visit before booking. I feel bad spending half the text of this review on a nuanced suggestion (and maybe this is just unavoidable when planning a wedding anyway), because really everything was amazing and we'd be thrilled to do it all again exactly the same. But it would have saved us some angst during the planning phase if we'd been expecting it.

But, again, everything was perfect and we'd do it again exactly the same way. It was a wonderful event!

We had the best experience at the Molly pitcher inn! Our wedding day on 9/13/24 was so perfect! Since the day we booked our wedding coordinator Rachel was an absolute pleasure to work with and made things very easy for us. The day of the wedding our maitre d Christian was amazing and made sure everything went smooth. The staff was very professional and I have to point out our head server Anne who took amazing care of us! They always made sure we were taken care of and made sure we ate and always had a fresh drink at our table. This day was everything I'd ever dreamed of and I cannot thank everyone enough at the Molly pitcher inn for making my dreams come true! Thank you!

We had an excellent experience for our wedding at the Oyster Point Hotel, very underrated venue! From the beginning the team was responsive and a pleasure to work with. We worked with Lauren on the sales team and our Maitre D Odelia, both went above and beyond expectations. We received a ton of compliments from our guests regarding the food, alcohol was flowing all night, the venue is gorgeous and on the water - very picturesque. It is a hotel and also near other hotels which made it very convenient for guests. Our bridal suite was also gorgeous, spacious, had excellent lighting so the pictures could not have come out any better. Would highly recommend this venue!

The Oyster Point Hotel was our unofficial wedding headquarters: Our entire bridal party (and some close friends) stayed there and the hotel hosted our Rehearsal Dinner and our Morning-After the Wedding Breakfast. Rachel was a huge help booking our dinner and breakfast. The view is amazing and the rooms were great. Highly recommend!

We had our reception booked at the Oyster Point in 2020, but had to delay the reception to 2021 due to the pandemic. The Oyster Point staff made this easy for us, helping us reserve a date that worked for us as well as our vendors. They were responsive throughout the year, keeping in touch with us the changing restrictions and helping us plan the reception we had dreamed of. We had a few catering managers, but ended up working the most with Katie. She was wonderful to work with and made the last month of planning before the reception easy and stress free for us! Jamie was our maitre'd and he made sure we had everything we needed throughout our special day. He was attentive and helped make the day run smoothly! We cannot thank the Oyster Point staff for making our day absolutely perfect! Worth the 1 year delay!

Me and my husband had our wedding here on December 28, 2019. We booked far in advance back in February of 2017. I looked at maybe 5 or 6 others before I fell in love with the Oyster Point. They have a great value for off season pricing. We booked the day of The View for Two event which I believe they do every year. You get to see the venue set up and try their delicious food and meet with a ton of preferred vendors. I worked with Jessica up until the week before when I started working with our Maitre’d Cristian also. I cannot say enough good things about these two. Jessica probably answered hundreds of my questions via email and phone calls within hours of me asking and if she couldnt answer she found someone who could right away. As for Cristian he was ON TOP OF EVERYTHING the day of the wedding. Always asking if me and the groom needed anything. He even went as far as going out to get a case of red bull for the groom because they had none... within minutes! The staff was absolutely amazing and it was a dream. I'm so happy I booked with the oyster point. I am just so sad I no longer have a reason to email Jessica anymore! The team I had was just the best. Thank you Oyster Point for giving me my dream wedding!!

09/07/2019 - We held our daughter and son-in-laws wedding at the Oyster Point! It was perfect. Every detail cared for, service was exceptional. Katie and Cristian made everything easy for us as parents. We could not have asked for a more perfect event!

Everything was absolutely perfect! From our first step into the venue we knew that it was where we wanted our wedding. Allison was fantastic, she worked with us throughout our entire wedding process. She was always quick to answer any questions I had. Anything we needed she was able to help us with. They were able to make any accommodations that we needed. Cristian was our Maitre’d for the night and he was amazing also. Everything was set up perfect for our wedding and just how we wanted. Someone was always available to help with anything that we needed. All the staff members were great the night of the wedding and even the next morning when we had a breakfast buffet for our overnight guests. The food was outstanding! We could not have asked for a better venue, everything was perfect!

The minute we walked into the Oyster Point we knew this was going to be our venue. Allison Mercer was absolutely amazing and walked us through every detail of our big day. She answered every e-mail promptly and assured me that everything would be exactly how I wanted. Needless to say I was blown away on our actual wedding day. Every detail was perfect, the food was amazing and the staff was great. Our guests enjoyed the stunning view of the Navesink River from the floor to ceiling windows lining the back of the room as well as on the outdoor patio. We still have family members talking about the view as well as the food, especially the raw bar/ lobster tails. We would definitely recommend the Oyster Point to any couple who is looking for a reasonable venue on the water. Trust us you will not be disappointed!!

Fairytale wedding! Absolutely perfect! The view, staff, space, food, and accommodations all amazing. My guests raved about our wedding and said best they’ve ever been to. I even have friends who want to book there wedding their now. Thank you Oyster Point for making our wedding dreams come true.

With jaw-dropping views and killer food/drinks, who wouldn’t love Oyster Point Hotel! There was plenty of food for our guests at the cocktail hour and all our food selections received positive reviews from the guests. Our wedding was lovely and just as we imagined. The staff were uber helpful. As a bride, I was treated with great care and thoughtfulness on the day of the wedding and didn’t have to worry about anything the photos done in the area were also great with the water view as the background.

Everyone at the Oyster Point was extremely accommodating - from pre-planning all the way until we checked out the morning after our wedding. Everything was incredible. Allison Mercer's help and expertise were essential in us having such an amazing night. Cristian, our maitre D was amazing as well. When we arrived at the hotel and saw Allison and Cristian coming to help us get situated, it was a huge relief. They both made the night so much less stressful and gave us the opportunity to take it all in. All of our family and friends are saying the same things to us. We are beyond thankful for everything they both did to provide us with the best wedding night!

Our wedding at the Oyster Point on 8/19/17 was everything we dreamed of and much much more. Since booking over a year prior, Allison was incredibly responsive in answering all questions via email almost immediately! I knew right off the bat I had nothing to worry about based on her responsiveness and how easy she was to work with. As the date drew closer, we had a pre-wedding meeting with Allison and Christian to review all the details. I literally have not one bad thing to say. Everything went so smoothly. The ballroom looked beautiful and the hotel worked with our vendors to ensure it was set up just as we wanted...and it truly exceeded our expectations. Our guests could not stop raving about the service, the view, and the FOOD! They were also kind enough to extend the bar area in the ballroom since we had a larger wedding of 186 people. We included the next day Brunch in our package and it was out of this world good. Having our wedding here was the best decision we could have made. It was wonderful having our guests stay right at the hotel and Allison and Christian made the entire day stress free. If you want a fabulous wedding with delicious and abundant food and fabulous food, this is your place.

I just got married at the Oyster Point and words can't describe how amazing this place is. From start to finish our wedding went flawlessly here. Allison and Cristain made our wedding run so smoothly. We has endless compliments that it was the best wedding our guests have been to. Everyone said the food was soooo great as well. Overall, i would recommend the Oyster Point to anyone who wants to have any kind of event, especially a wedding.

Every moment of our wedding day was perfect, thanks in large part to the Oyster Point Hotel. We were married during one of the busiest holiday weekends for a Jersey Shore venue, but nothing was ever a bother to them. Every aspect of our day was executed perfectly; they took care of every last detail with care and professionalism. The outdoor ceremony space on the Navesink River is simply unforgettable, and the food - from the appetizers to the pastries - was impeccable. From the day we booked with Bill, he was incredibly attentive and responsive through every stage of the planning process, helping to make it as stress-free as possible. Cristian took amazing care of us as well as our entire bridal party and families, both in the bridal suite (which is luxurious beyond belief) and during the reception. We never wanted for anything, and he was extremely personable. We cannot recommend this staff and this space highly enough!

My husband and I couldn't be happier with the services we were provided for our wedding at the Oyster Point Hotel. Allison was extremely timely in her responses and was happy to answer any questions or address any concerns we had. The entire staff was super attentive to our guests from the moment they entered the venue. Odilia was our "day of" coordinator and she was excellent! In our pre-wedding meeting, she noted every detail to ensure a smooth evening, and she definitely delivered! The food was amazing at both cocktail hour and dinner. The weather was nice, so we were able to utilize the outdoor space all night, which was absolutely gorgeous. My fiance loves gin and tonics, and when the venue didn't carry his preferred brand of gin, they went out and bought him his own bottle, and used it for his drinks all night without him even having to ask. Each element of our wedding was unbelievable, and we wouldn't change one thing. My husband and I would highly recommend the Oyster Point Hotel for a wedding reception. Between the incredible views of the river, the delicious food and the attentive service, we wish we could go back and do it again!

When starting the planning and preparation for a wedding the desire is that all tasks and vendor selection will turn out to be perfect and the event will take place without incidents or “speed bumps”. The biggest decision towards this goal of perfection is the selection of the venue and the event manager for the place of the venue.

Our criteria for the venue was that the guests could stay at the location of the reception; that the venue could provide a digified environment for the wedding ceremony and that the venue had a reputation for providing a quality service for such an event. Of course cost was also a consideration. We visited 12 to 15 other places before going to the Oyster Point. One visit with the tour by Bill Murray, our event manager, and the decision was made.

There are many accolades that describe the Oyster Point: responsive, organized, professional, punctual, involved, suggestive, flexible, etc. The accolades while attributed to the venue, the Oyster Point, are not possible without the buy-in from the personnel staff. Lead by Bill Murray, event planner, and Odilia Ll, maitre d', the quest for perfection was obiously and evident.

Certainly the accolades are important to the success of the wedding however others factors weighed in the decision for the Oyster Point. The ambience is terrific – a special view of the Navesink River on a beautiful day which we were luckly to have. And the food! The quality was second to none and the quantity was ample for the most heartily of appetite.

Suggestions: get started early and book early, use the Oyster Point list of suggestive vendors – we did and were very happy with all – entertainment, florist, wedding cake provider and photographer.

Bill, Odilia, a job well done! Please give out thank-yous to everyone involved. Our quest for perfection was met and the compliments from many of our guests reinforced that.

11/25/2016 Wedding. Approximately 140 people. We were very satisfied with the entire affair. The Sales Manager Allison was very accommodating and easy to work with. The food was plentiful and very good. The service was excellent and all servers were very capable and pleasant all evening. The Massa family would highly recommend the Oyster Point Hotel as a wedding venue.

We had our wedding reception at the Oyster Point Hotel in November 2016 and could not be happier with our experience! Allison, our wedding coordinator, was wonderfully responsive and accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. She was so easy to work with and gave us comfort and confidence in the venue leading up to such an important event in our lives! The venue and entire service staff on the day of our wedding were also fantastic! Jessica, our maitre'd, was super sweet and helpful too. We felt so comfortable throughout the evening and everyone worked with us to keep things running smoothly and ensured we were able to enjoy ourselves without having to worry about a thing! We are so thankful for that and would highly recommend this venue to any couple! We even received comments from guests that they would like to get married at this venue based on their experiences!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the end of November. Everything from the booking process through the wedding went perfectly smooth. Bill was fabulous and responsive the whole year before, and Cristian, the maître d was everything i could ask for and more to make sure our event was exactly how we envisioned it (and did it with a smile!). Every request we had- big or small- was accommodated and they graciously worked within our budget. We truly felt special and not like we were at a wedding factory like so many other venues in NJ. Our guests are still raving about the food, the view, and the professionalism of the entire staff at the Oyster Point. Working in the wedding industry myself, I was beyond impressed and would recommend this venue to anyone!

We had our wedding at the Oyster Point on September 24, 2016. It was absolutely perfect. Allison could not have been more responsive and helpful during the year of planning. Cristian was our maitre d' and he made sure that we had something to eat and made everything go smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful. The food was delicious and we got so many compliments on it. The suite that we stayed in was beautiful. All in all, I highly recommend the Oyster Point. The staff is wonderful and you really get your money's worth. I wish we could do it all over again!

We got married at the Oyster Point in October and we could't be happier with our choice! We had known from previous experience that the food would be amazing, but we were so impressed with the whole experience overall. We planned the wedding from out of state and the amazing staff made the process way less daunting for us. The banquet coordinator, Bill Murray, was always so great about answering all of our questions and even making suggestions to help us along the way. Mike, our maître d,' did a wonderful job making sure everything came together exactly as we had planned. I cannot begin to express how happy my husband and I were with Oyster Point. The team there is extremely professional, courteous and will 100% make sure that your wedding day is the best day of your life. From the rooms, to the food ( which is out of this world good!), to the view, everything was perfect. The service was impeccable, and the team helped us along the way when planning. Oyster Point is exceptional because it is everything you need in one place. The value for your money is impressive, there is a package for every budget and wedding size (seriously!). The setting and view on the river is breathtaking and a perfect backdrop for your wedding day. The convenience of guests being able to just go upstairs to their room after the party is priceless. The venue/rooms/outside make a perfect place to take your photos, and makes it easy for everyone since you don't have to go anywhere! If you are looking for value, stress free everything, a great hotel, wonderful food, and amazing, amazing service, Oyster Point is your place. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and we owe it all to Oyster Point for making it possible.

The staff was beyond accommodating and flexible to my long list of diy projects coming in the night before and our 230 guests. I could not be happier with views, food, and remarkable staff.

You not only get a gorgeous view, but also an amazing staff who go above and beyond to make your day perfect! I am so happy I went with the Oyster Point for my July wedding. Bill and Allison were so attentive and helpful in every way. They handled everything with such professionalism and were always available when I called or had a question (which I had many). The food was amazing and all my guests said it was a spectacular day. This is a wonderful place to get married from the food, view, service, to the amazing hotel rooms and bridal suite it is definitely a great value.

The Oyster Point Hotel was fantastic in every aspect! They were accommodating in every way possible. Allison was always there to answer any questions we had and got back to us immediately. She was extremely helpful in the planning process. Cristian was our maitre 'd and he was amazing! Anything we needed, he was there to help. From the time we walked in to Oyster Point until the very end of the night he was always there to help us and guide us through our day. All of our guests said they had an amazing time and raved about how great the food was. We had many guests stay overnight and join us for breakfast the following morning. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and it was a great way to end the celebration. We couldn't have asked for better service and professionalism. The Oyster Point Hotel was perfect for our wedding and we would highly recommend them!

The Oyster Point Hotel was the perfect venue! From the moment we booked our Wedding through our Big Day, Bill Murray and his staff did an excellent job. I was in constant contact with Bill, whether I called in with a question or sent an email he was very helpful and always able to offer suggestions or answers. Growing up in the area one thing I loved was the location of the hotel, overlooking the Navesink River. It has a stunning backdrop. We have also continually heard from our guests that the food was excellent, whether it was during cocktail hour or their dinner. I couldn't have asked for more! The day went sooo smoothly, the rooms looked spectacular, cocktail hour was a hit, the night was coordinated flawlessly by our Matre'de Odelia, the after party in the lobby bar was convenient right downstairs, and the hotel rooms were gorgeous and extremely comfortable! This is definitely a venue I would suggest to any bride, you will not be disappointed!!!

We chose The Oyster Point Hotel for our daughter's wedding because of it's excellent reputation, as well as it's beautiful water views. This venue also provided our guests with the convenience of an overnight stay after the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, all at one location. The wedding weekend, from start to finish, was everything we'd hoped for. Bill Murray, Banquet Manager, and Cristian Soto, Maitre'd, and the wonderful staff worked with us from the early planning stages to the end to make sure our event was perfect! Our guests couldn't say enough about the fantastic cocktail hour, and the entrees, and also the comfy bed pillows in each guest's room! We are so happy we chose The Oyster Point!

My husband and I got married at the Oyster Point 3 weeks ago, and we honestly could not be anymore pleased with our experience with the Oyster Point as our reception site.

Allison was our catering/event planner and Christian was our Maitre D, and they both were fantastic throughout the process. Whenever I e-mailed Allison with questions, she would get back to me right away and was always extremely helpful. Christian was unbelievable the day of the wedding. From the minute we got to the Oyster Point after our ceremony to the end of the reception, he kept us on track and made sure that everything flowed seamlessly. All of the tables, favors, and decorations were set up exactly how we wanted them.

Also, over the last three weeks countless wedding guests have reached out to us to tell us how GREAT the food was. The cocktail hour was unbelievable, and the dinner was even better. Guests loved the surf 'n' turf, it was great.

I grew up in the Red Bank area, and we drove by The Oyster Point very often. Ever since I was young, I always told my mom, "I want to get married here!". Years later, the day finally came, and our first stop for a venue selection was The Oyster Point. It was also our last stop. The hotel is inviting with a lot of great detail - spiral staircase and glass-walled elevator in the lobby, to name a couple. On the second floor, (which you have the run of during the cocktail hour and reception) the floor to ceiling windows with a view of the Navesink River took our breath away. It was like you were on a cruise ship. We worked closely with Allison and Cristian, who were both a joy to work with, and they made our day run perfectly. All of our guests told us, "This was the best wedding we've ever been to!". The best part was at the end of the night, we just went right upstairs to our room! Excellent service, delicious food, and beautiful surroundings. What more could you ask for on your wedding day?

The only thing we would change about our wedding at the Oyster Point would be to make it longer!!! We were pretty much set on the Oyster Point as soon as we saw it last year: I wanted a wedding at a hotel and my husband wanted a wedding with a view! The Oyster Point could not have been more perfect! Luckily, we had a beautiful August day for our wedding, which only enhanced the view and use of the balconies! Working with Bill Murray was wonderful, he is patient and always gets back to you quickly with any little question. He worked with us to make sure our wedding had everything we wanted! Christian was our Maitre D and in line with what we heard, he was fantastic: the attention to detail and smoothness of the wedding day was apparent to all in attendance! I was completely relaxed on my wedding day, since I was SO confident these two had everything under control! We had our ceremony on site and the turn over to the ballroom reception seemed to be perfect! The food was delicious from cocktail hour until the cake from Tinton Falls pastry chef! Everyone is still raving about the meal! Post-ceremony some of the bridal party went up to the suite and they even had food up there for us to enjoy so we would not miss out. Our server brought my husband and I one of each meal to our sweetheart table, from which we both took one bite! When we got up to the suite at the end of the night, our three meals were there along with cake and champagne! The following morning we had a brunch back in the ballroom and the room still looked gorgeous with our centerpieces reused on the tables.No detail was overlooked! I am so happy we chose the Oyster Point for our wedding- it turned out to be everything I dreamed for and more! Thank you Bill, Christian and everyone at the Oyster Point!

My husband and I got married there at the end of August and it was amazing!!! The food, the atmosphere, the views... It was clean and everyone was friendly. It was perfect! We booked in February and had the best experience from start to finish! Allison, our wedding planner was so helpful and thoughtful and kind! (We could not have done this without her! Thank you Allison!!) Our maitre'd Christian was amazing as well.. He knew his stuff! When we met with him we knew we were in good hands, he was organized and helpful. On the day of, He kept our bridal party in check- as well as us!! :) If I could do it all over, I would still choose oyster point again and again!!!! Thank you to the entire staff! We definitely recommend this place for any event you have! Or even just to get away a few nights. It is beautiful! The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. All of our guests had nothing but nice things to say about their stay and about our wedding! We had our ceremony here as well & it was set up beautifully and organized well.

I knew I wanted the have my reception at the Oyster Point the second I got engaged. It had it all- gorgeous reception room, huge beautiful balconies, views of the water and the boats, and hotel rooms right upstairs. I worked with Allison Mercer who is just beyond wonderful. I don't have enough good things to say about her! She was organized, responsive, and so helpful with everything. She also remembered any little details I mentioned in passing that I wanted for wedding day without me having to remind or even send over in writing. Anytime I had a question she would get back to me almost immediately. Working with her helped make my planning process a million times easier. The wedding day was beyond perfect. Everything was set up perfectly and the room looked stunning. Christian was out Maitre D and he was wonderful as well! He made sure we were taken care of at all times. The Oyster Point exceeded all of my expectations and I could not be happier with the decision we made to book there. My guests are still raving about how gorgeous the venue was and the food! I've received so many messages about how it's the best food people have ever had at a wedding before. What a perfect day! Thank you Oyster Point, Allison, and Christian for everything.

I can't say enough good things about the Oyster Point. Everything was perfect. I had planned this wedding from Las Vegas. Our family lives in NJ so it was a destination for us. The venue itself is the perfect place for a day wedding. The setting is stunning. The views of the water are breathtaking.
The food was amazing. We are still getting compliments about it almost a week later.
We had an after-party in our suite and they set up all the food and drinks for us. We walked into our room and it was all ready to go!! Just incredible.

The Oyster Point Hotel was the PERFECT place for our 120 person wedding. The venue is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food/drinks were amazing.
We worked with Billy Murray from the very beginning and he is awesome! He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and very responsive to any and all questions we had.
Christian was our maître de and Anne was our server the day of the wedding. They did so much more though! They set up the entire ball room and cocktail room for us because we made our own centerpieces. They far exceeded our expectations in making our “vision” come to life.
The food was great! The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and people were so impressed that it actually came out the temperature they ordered it! The Peking duck station at the cocktail hour was a huge hit. People are still talking about the food that day.
Lastly, the venue is so beautiful and it was great to use the balcony at the cocktail hour. We had the North Suite, which is included in the package and is used as the bridal suite. It was perfect to hang out in before the cocktail hour and they brought up all of the apps and the signature drinks.
I can’t think of one negative thing to say about the Oyster Point, it was the venue and the staff there that really made our wedding day perfect.

Him and his staff were ready to help us and they did a wonderful job doing it! The bridal suite was insanely nice - gorgeous view of the Navesink and very modern touch. The balcony off the reception room was gorgeous as well, everyone is still talking about our wedding! Definitely recommend this place - please do yourself a favor and check it out!

I cannot express how happy I am that I had my wedding at the Oyster Point Hotel. From my first meeting with Allison Mercer I knew we were going to be so happy working with her and having our wedding at the OP. Allison was so patient with us, answering all of my questions quickly, and meeting every single one of our requests. Not only is the Oyster Point a beautiful reception space it also has beautiful hotel accommodations for your guests. You have to see it in person to fully experience it's beauty. The food that they serve is also fantastic! This is not your typical wedding menu, this is above and beyond in terms of quality and options. Having been a guest to a wedding here as well I experienced on both sides how wonderful it is to be at a wedding here! Could not be happier with my wedding at the Oyster Point Hotel!

After a destination wedding on the island of Kauai, Hawaii, we held a small reception for 45 people in the Terrace Room at the Oyster Point Hotel. We decided on the Monte Carlo package because of the excellent selection of food for both the cocktail hour and dinner. We could not be happier with the results. The presentation, food, service and venue made the day perfect. The guests could not say enough how excellent everything was. Nicole and Denise provided the music and were a great addition to the party. Special thanks to Aliison Mercer, Catering Sales Manager and Cristian Soto, Maitre d’ for overseeing our wedding and their efficient staff, especially Anne and Julie. From the moment I first walked in the door and met with Allison, I knew this was the perfect place for our wedding. We held our ceremony and reception here and could not have made a better choice! The professional staff exceeded our expectations throughout the planning process and during our entire wedding weekend. Our coordinator Allison was extremely responsive and helpful and I loved working with her as we picked our vendors and coordinated the details of the wedding. She really understood our vision for the wedding and even worked with us to create the perfect signature cocktail! The food was excellent and we received so many compliments from our guests on the good, venue, service, hotel rooms, and general atmosphere. When it came time to the actaul wedding week we began to with with Cristian the Maître d. He was wonderful!! He removed all the stress and worry from the wedding process and allowed us to enjoy every minute of our rehearsal, wedding and post wedding brunch. He treated us, our families, our guests and our vendors with such kindness and consideration. We truely appreciated him! I would highly recommend the Oyster Point to anyone planning their wedding. We celebrated our wedding at the Oyster Point on 9/6/14. Throughout the process William Murray was there to assist me with every little question and detail I could think of. If he was out of the office or in a meeting someone else on his team was there to jump in and handle any request that I had. After the food tasting we had high expectations for the food and we were not disappointed on the night of the wedding. Even with a power outage 30 minutes before the ceremony was going to start they tried to keep our entire party optimistic! Christian was our maître d and he was there to make sure things went smoothly the entire night. Within the reception our server, Anna, took extremely good care of the groom and myself along with our fa milies! We couldn't have asked for better service to top off the already amazing night! While we did have a rain storm they allowed us to take over any part of the hotel to take pictures which was truly appreciated. We love Oyster Point as a hotel and would absolutely recommend it to those who are looking for a venue with an amazing view, fabulous food and a great staff!!

Allison, the Catering/Sales manager, was professional and went above and beyond the minute we first met with her. She was in constant communication with me and answered my every question at all hours of the day in a timely manner. They really went above and beyond to make sure our every need was planned out perfectly! The day of the wedding she even helped me with my bustle when we had some minor difficulties and my mother's wedding dress when there was a last minute spill! Christian was excellent and really saved our night a couple of times with some things that happened beyond Oyster Point's control. Without him, I don't know what I would have done! The atmosphere was phenomenal with the beautiful sights of the Navesink and the cocktail hour was amazing! My entire wedding party was pleased with their service and we were always taken care of throughout the night! I accidentally stepped on glass on the dance floor and Christian was right there with my sister helping me! This is the kind of service you get at the Oyster Point! People are still raving about the service there and how great the food was! SIMPLY AMAZING!!! Not only was my wedding absolutely stunning, beautiful views of the river, gorgeous hotel, amazing food that my guests could not stop raving over, but also the most amazing staff. We could not be happier with The Oyster Point - our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be! From the first meeting - to the final minute - I was very impressed. Bill Murray and Allison Mercer, the two banquet coordinators - were fantastic. They always returned calls and emails promptly and addressed all of our questions and concerns. I planned my wedding in 4 months and the employees at the Oyster Point made it a wonderful experience. They were very helpful, catering to mine and my husband's needs, the food was delicious, and the employees friendly and hard working. Allison was extremely supportive and understood that wedding planning can be incredibly intimidating for a new bride. Even though Allison has coordinated millions of weddings, she was so incredibly patient, accommodating and valuable. No matter what a Bride wishes to add to their wedding, it is going to be a huge success, because they choose Allison and Cristian at OP.
Cristian is extremely kind and has a calming presence, as well he is an expert in etiquette. Wedding planning was extremely intimidating for us and Cristian was very supportive of our nontraditional ideas and helped make them possible. He helped us make tough decisions on timelines, details for the ceremony procession (we had ceremony at OP), the reception entrance, cake cutting and so many more details we never realized to include. Cristian’s expert advice and guidance was invaluable.
They both have a talent on creating an unforgettable event, that is most importantly, tailored to the bride and groom.

Everything was WONDERFUL. It was such a great time and my entire wedding is still raving about everything. We had a small wedding of only about 70 people. The food was excellent and the set up was amazing. Our servers were immediately on top of everything the entire time. And Cristian was awesome. My father was a big fan of the raw bar but unfortunately, all the clams were stuck in their shell. I understand that it was hard to shuck them all cause then the clam falls out of the shell. But it makes them very hard to eat if they aren't cleaned out. My dad complained and the chef refused. But Cristian came right over with a knife and stood there in cocktail hour for 15 minutes shucking all those clams for my dad. SUCH SERVICE!! I can't recommend enough. Everything was perfect and wonderful. Allison who was our planner, was also so great with answering all my questions in the months prior to the wedding. She did a fantastic job! And lastly, the doorman was great. He helped me every chance he got lugging me stuff all around the hotel!! Thank you to everyone!!

The room and the views had me at hello, then you meet the staff and you fall in love with everything the Oyster Point has to offer. Our wedding experience was Absolutely Amazing!
We had an intimate wedding with a little over 50 guest and each and every guest is still talking about what an great time they had. The food, from start to finish is a foodies dream come true your guest will be in heaven with the menus. When you receive feedback from your guest who tell you that they do not think anyone can top your wedding, that should tell you all you need to know about booking your wedding or any special event for that matter here.
The food, staff, and service was not only perfect for us as the bride and groom but for each and every one of our guest as well. When the staff not only ensures you are taken care of but each of your guest as well that’s what counts. You couldn’t ask for a more attentive staff, our Maître D was Christian who was top notch he provided perfect service from start to finish. He runs the whole reception with his staff perfectly timed for everything you want to do that night, he worked great with our other vendors as well.
Of course the planning aspect was so much fun from start to finish it was a pleasure working with Allison. She is an absolute delight, she is quite accommodating and professional making the whole process a fun experience.

We booked our wedding ceremony and reception about 1 year in advance.
The planning as time grew closer was assisted by Bill Murray, our catering manager. All of the details were in order. The wedding was a dream come true, in the Terrace Room, and open air cocktail lounge.

I booked the hotel for my daughter, Cara's, wedding on September 21st and I knew that it would be beautiful but that doesn't come close. The staff are truly amazing. Bill Murray, the Senior Banquet Manager, and Christian Soto, Maitre 'D were outstanding. Bill answered each and every question posed to him and he helped coordinate a gorgeous wedding. Bill was always available to answer any question, no matter how small, and always with a smile. We had many overnight guests and they happily enjoyed their stay as well. Christian oversaw the reception and no detail was left unattended; Christian made each and every guest feel welcomed. The affair was beautifully orchestrated. The food was amazing! During my venue search, we looked at over 30 venues across NJ. When we found the Oyster Point we knew this was THE place to host our wedding. We worked with Bill Murray to coordinate the details and he was such a pleasure to work with. We made a lot of changes to our wedding package and he was more than willing to work with us to make sure that we had everything we wanted. He was very responsive during the entire planning process and had great suggestions to offer.

Our Maitre'd for the evening was Christian and I could not have more wonderful things to say about him. He greeted my husband and I at the front door and whisked us up to our suite before anyone could distract us. In our room we had cocktails and champagne setup and were able to take a few minutes to relax before joining our cocktail hour. Christian was attentive throughout the entire evening consistently checking on us and making sure that we always had a drink. After our reception we had cake and champagne in our room to enjoy while we relaxed.

We got to know a good portion of the staff and they treated us like old friend, the front desk, bell-hops and wait staff was very professional and friendly. I knew that my first wedding decision, choosing the Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank, New Jersey, would be the best decision. It is a modern hotel on the water perfect for a bride looking for a funky boutique hotel and a classy, first-rate dining and event experience. Words cannot describe the amazing staff, particularly Bill (event coordinator) and Cristian (maitre d'). With all of my DIY projects and little details, the Oyster Point was a canvas on which I could paint my nautical wedding experience, and the staff did an amazing job of making it happen. I didn't have to worry about a single thing on the day of my wedding. The food and service was spectacular, beyond the quality of any wedding I have ever attended. Cristian even made sure that all of my favorite appetizers and mashed potato bar were brought up to the bridal suite so that I could enjoy the cocktail hour with my wedding party in a more intimate setting. At one point, I said, "Is this heaven?", just to show how perfect the overall wedding experience was for me and my guests. The experience was first-rate and I would hold many more events there in the future.

Organizing the wedding while living in London was at times difficult but Bill did everything he could to make things easier. Our wedding reception at Oyster Point was just perfect! Judy and Bill are wonderful to work with. They are accommodating, helpful, detail-orientated and just plain fantastic. The food is delicious and our guests even said they they have never had better food at a wedding. We did our post-wedding brunch the next day at Oyster Point as well, and it was just as amazing. The bridal suite is so gorgeous that we used it as the backdrop of our bride and bridesmaid pictures. Every aspect of Oyster Point was perfect for our wedding.

The Oyster Point is a fabulous place to get married. From the food to the service there was not one thing I would change about our wedding. We had our rehersal dinner, reception and brunch the next morning there and everything was perfect. Bill and Gerry are both amazing at what they do. They were able to make the whole weekend enjoyable, stress free and beautiful. The rest of the staff was great as well, super helpful and thoughtful. Our Maitre Dei Raul was AMAZING!!!! I honestly could write pages on how fantastic he was, escorting us to a private cocktail hour in our honeymoon suite with champagne and guiding us through the whole evening while ensuring that we didn't miss a beat on our special day. He literally was outside waiting for us to arrive and was by our sides taking care of every detail the entire evening and again at brunch the next morning. Everyone LOVED him!

The food was absolutely incredible our guests are still raving about it and I can only imagine they'll be doing so for quite some time. Special details like taking temperatures on meet at the tables and accommodating guests with gluten allergies or that were Vegan was so helpful to us- and it eased my mind that it wasn't something I had to worry about. We actually eat at OP when we visit Red Bank too- just because the food and service are SO amazing! Also, the buffet they set up in our room with another bottle champagne after the reception was incredible- even though they made sure we ate at our wedding which we LOVED!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Oyster Point. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful during the planning process. We spent the whole weekend at the Oyster Point for our Saturday wedding. Our guests found their weekend stay there very comfortable. The wedding ceremony and reception were absolutely beautiful with the river as the background. The food is amazing!!! Our guest raved about the location and food stating it was the best wedding they have been to. We highly recommend choosing the Oyster Point for your wedding!!! Unbelievable service, very attentive, friendly and accommodating.

This is such a great place to get married. food is outstanding every thing was just amazing. we had a ceremony, reception and breakfast at the oyster point. we had a suite overlooking the water it just made our wedding more fantastic to have views of the water all day. we had great food, service. i wish some would invite me to a wedding at the oyster point. we had guest stay overnight and they loved the hotel just as much as we did. the food is quaility made right. we are a tuff crowd being in the foodservice industry and when i say food and service are outstanding you can put money on it picky restaurant people....you and your guest will love it.

I cannot say enough about The Oyster Point, from my first visit up until right after my wedding. The venue was beautiful and the staff was amazing. They took care of everything and on the day of my wedding we were able to just relax and enjoy ourselves. I highly recommend Christian the Maitre D, he was amazing and catered to our every need on the day of our wedding, he was wonderful.

The Oyster Point Hotel was the perfect spot for our wedding reception! It has a beautiful room with a deck that overlooks the Navesink River. The food is UNBELIEVABLE! The service from their staff was unsurpassed. We had the reception at night, reserved a block of rooms in the hotel (another HUGE PLUS!) and then had brunch the next morning.

Bill and Christian made sure every detail was addressed and they took the stress out of my hands and into theirs. I didn't have to worry about anything because I knew they had it taken care of. I couldn'timagine a better experience. The day went off without a hitch!

If you are looking for somewhere in Monmouth County to be married, definitely call Bill at the Oyster Point and have him make your wedding day perfect!!!!!

Born and raised in red bank I already knew the quality of this wonderful business. My wife fell in love at first sight. The staff was excellent and our sales red allison was awesome to work with.

Our wedding was about 150 guests and each and every guest is still talking about what a great time they had. Not a single guest left early. Everyone was raving about how incredible the food during cocktail hour was, to how amazing the entrée’s and appetizers were. When you receive feedback from your guest who tells you that they do not think anyone can top your wedding, or that it’s the best wedding they have ever been to that should tell you all you need to know.
The food, staff, and service were not only perfect for us as the bride and groom but for each and every one of our guest as well. When the staff not only ensures you are taken care of but each of your guest as well that’s what counts. You couldn’t ask for a more attentive staff, our Maître D was Christian was amazing! We met him a few weeks before the wedding and anything we needed he was there. The entire wedding if you thought of anything you might want you had it before even needing to ask for it. They anticipate your every move.
Of course the planning aspect was so much fun from start to finish it was a pleasure working with Allison Mercer. She was incredible and I’m not sure I could have gotten through this planning without her. No matter how many questions you have or how many emails you send her she never makes you feel like you are a pain. She answers you almost immediately if she can and will work her magic to help you out. She was amazing the entire year I was planning!
We could not have found a better venue for our reception or asked for a better staff from start to finish!

The food was amazing! Everyone raved that it was the best food they have had at a wedding. The place itself is so modern and unique in comparison to most wedding banquet facilities. We loved our wedding and everyone that made the day a success that works there.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here, and the folks at OP gave us incredible service the entire weekend. The complementary suite offers a lot of getting-ready room - but only for one half of the couple, if you don't want to see them the morning of the ceremony. Our coordinator Lauren and our maitre d' Odelia did an incredible job. On the day of, they made sure my husband and I were always comfortable with hot food and a drink nearby. All this is despite the fact we were nearly maxing out the guest capacity at 200+ guests and had a ton of decorations. The food was incredible. Our guests, my partner, and I couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was, and there was more than enough to satisfy everyone. Lovely space, and we were lucky enough to have good weather so we could use the balcony at the reception, which I really enjoyed. Lauren and management were also very gracious in accommodating our silly karaoke afterparty idea. And then the breakfast service for the morning after blew us away, with a delicious spread and chefs making fresh omelets. Our only big gripe was the starting price for the hotel rooms in our block ($359 a night in the off season???) Eventually the price came down, but by then a lot of our guests had already made their travel arrangements. Overall, OP has some issues on the hotel side and may look dated, but it’s a top-notch event venue.

The Oyster Point was the perfect venue for our wedding! We had to reschedule multiple times and they were very flexible and understanding with all the changes and worked with us to find the best solutions. Jamie was very responsive and helpful as I prepared and planned. Everything went perfectly the day of and our maitre de Jaime was extremely helpful and attentive, meeting all our requests and needs. The food is delicious and plentiful for the price and the view is amazing. Bridal suite/hotel suite is beautiful.

Oyster Point did a fantastic job with my daughter's bridal shower. I chose the Coral room for the shower because it has spectacular views of the river. I did the Classic Afternoon Tea menu and it worked out perfectly! There was plenty of food that was really very good. I also added in a Peach Bellini punch in addition to the tea, coffee, and sodas offered. They set the room up beautifully, the wait staff and maitre 'd provided impeccable service, and the planning coordinator was a pleasure to work with! I got so many compliments from guests about how nice the shower was. Would definitely recommend Oyster Point for your next event!

My experience with The Oyster Point Hotel was absolutely perfect. Allison was my sales rep and I was so calm and responsive, my reception was the least stressful part of my wedding. Any questions I had were quickly answered. The level of professionalism by the entire staff was amazing. Cristian is a class act, he quietly observes everything and anticipates your needs on your big day. From schedules to mishaps he does it all...even when a bride spills chocolate mousse on her dress and is panicked- he is right there to shout it out. I ate cocktail hour foods with my wedding party in a private bridal area they had prepared for us before greeting our guests. They made sure I had a drink in my hand at all times. I know many brides who have said they never ate or drank anything at their wedding. Cristian made sure to politely pull us aside when new courses were at our table so we enjoyed every part of our menu. Every one of our guests said how wonderful the food was and they were all impressed with the hotel. The back deck was beautiful for Memorial Day weekend. Fireworks went off after dinner over the river and made my day perfect. Go with Oyster Point, you won't be disappointed.

I loved having our wedding at the Oyster Point! It was exactly what we were looking for - an amazing water view, indoor and outdoor areas for the cocktail hour and the reception, a great ballroom, and excellent food, drink, and service. Since many of our guests were from out of town I wanted a hotel for them to stay in and they were very impressed with the Oyster Point! Even better was the service for us - I highly recommend getting the suite the night before so you and your girls can get ready in there - our photographer, videographer and makeup artist were super impressed with the light and space! The sunrise over the river made the start to our wedding day perfect! We had the ceremony at a nearby church, and then headed back to the Oyster Point for cocktail hour! We had our own personal tray delivered to our room which was great, and then we headed down for the party! Everything was perfect and our personal waitress made sure we had everything we wanted! When it finally ended, we had our cake and a bottle of champagne in our suite to celebrate. I would definitely get married here again!!!

our wedding at the oyster point was amazing. it exceeded my expectations. the staff followed my directions to a T...everything was perfect. we worked with bill on the front end, who was fabulous. so attentive. and our maitre d' was gerry, who was new to the oyster point, but we would have never known. he ran the show like he had been there forever.

the food was wonderful. as my husband and i did our rounds to the tables, we couldn't help but notice all the empty plates...they looked licked clean! everyone complimented all the food, from the cocktail hour to the sit-down dinner.

i would recommend the oyster point hotel to any bride looking for an elegant affair in an amazing setting with good food. it was truly impressive.

The Oyster Point staff were friendly and helpful throughout the process. I worked with a woman named Judy and whenever I called her she would call me right back. I had a problem with my photographer who demanded she be served the food the guests were eating and when I called Judy she told me she would take care of everything and she did! The place is so beautiful, perfect for a summer wedding. There is a large balcony overlooking the river. The food is excellent. I have never had good wedding food but this food was excellent.

The Oyster Point hotel perfect! It has a beautiful setting overlooking the water. They were very attentive to our needs and were flexible with our budget.

I would highly recomend them to anyone.
