Oxford Exchange had everything we were looking for in a venue. Beautiful INDOOR areas for ceremony & reception, amazing food selection, location for getting ready, and great vendor selections. We were required to select from their list the dessert and florals (no qualms about it, loved who was on the list and who we chose!) and they had a recommended list of other vendors which we also picked through. All in all, they know what they're doing, and it's why many couples choose the OE to celebrate their special day. Ours was pretty perfect, all of our family and friends loved the venue and food (we did too of course) and we absolutely felt no stress leading up to the week of our wedding. Elizabeth was our main POC throughout and we also did their coordinating services and it was just great - could not have had a seamless day without her! Highly recommend to host your wedding here, any events, or just have brunch! We love going here! -

We had our wedding at OE and it was absolutely magical from start to finish. I had been there for brunch so many times in the past and always thought this would be such a special place to have a wedding. When it came time to tour venues they were at the top our list and did not disappoint, We knew right way during out first meeting with the coordinators that we wanted to get married there,
The venue is stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. The staff were incredible throughout the entire process. Our coordinator, Elizabeth, was responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day special. She helped us with everything from layout planning to vendor coordination, and ensured everything ran smoothly on the big day.
Our guests raved about the ambiance and how seamless the event felt.
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you're looking for a venue that combines beauty, professionalism, and excellent service, we highly recommend Oxford Exchange. -

We had our wedding at OE in Dec 2024 and it was amazing. The venue does an amazing job transforming the already beautiful space into a very intimate space for all of the ceremony, dinner, reception, and everything in between. So many things are taken care of by the OE team that make it all that much easier on you. We worked with Elizabeth Lin and she was awesome - held us in check during the final month to the big day and helped us every step of the way. Everyone from the venue we worked with was very professional and kind, and on our wedding day everything went on without a hitch. Our guests can't stop telling us how unique and amazing the experience was, either. Cannot not recommend OE enough! -

On a perfect spring day in May, I married my husband at Oxford Exchange, and it was quite literally the most amazing few hours of my life. The venue speaks for itself—it is stunning from every angle, so unique, but still a blank canvas to create the ultimate vision for your day. If I could do it all over again, I would 1000% choose OE again and again.
We worked with Kathi Caccamo from day one (she toured us around the venue in early 2023), and I cannot say enough nice things about her. She made our wedding wonderful. I will never forget what she said to me and my family on our first visit: "You don't plan a wedding every day. We do!". This was a testament to our entire experience from that moment forward. It is extremely overwhelming and exciting and stressful to plan a wedding, but Kathi made us feel right at home and always took her time to ask and answer questions, check in, make suggestions, and explain everything in a lot of detail. I'm assuming most brides feel like total amateurs when they go from Pinterest board to real life, but Kathi assured me that whatever I envisioned for our day could happen, and I need not worry about not knowing the answer to every question. She was more than just a coordinator for us; she became family for the few months that we worked together and will always be an honorary member for helping make our dreams come true. She is a TRUE professional, and I hope all future brides get the chance to interact with her and the rest of the OE team.
As for the rest of the OE staff--they are INCREDIBLE. The associated costs with this venue are steep, but every single penny was worth it on our wedding day. It is completely priceless to have been able to float into that day stress-free, recognizing the friendly faces of OE's staff and being so happy to overhear your friends and family gush about how genuinely kind and wonderful everyone there is. I felt like a celebrity at our tasting. I felt like a VIP when I attended the OE Wedding Showcase. And on our wedding day, I felt like a queen. They truly cater to your every want and need.
The list of vendors provided by the OE team is also incredible. As mentioned, starting this process can be overwhelming, but every vendor on their list is warm and accommodating.
Oxford Exchange has perfected the formula for weddings. If you are considering OE as your venue in Tampa, please don't hesitate! -

From the beginning of wedding planning, Oxford Exchange and their team was nothing short of perfection. It was such an easy and fun experience planning our wedding with them. Kathi is the most incredible and professional woman we had the pleasure of working with. She is responsive and so unbelievably organized. We were able to share thoughts and details with her and every bit was transpired on the wedding day even down to the smallest note. I would absolutely recommend the coordinating service a month prior. Kathi made my life so much easier and took away a lot of the to do's and stress. Her connections are endless and weeks prior was able to make several last minute arrangements for us. We are so grateful she was part of our day.
We planned the wedding from out of state, and I think OE & Kathi made that process so much better than if we had gone elsewhere. The value at OE is limitless. The food was incredible, as one could imagine at Oxford. I don't think we could have found a better wedding dinner anywhere else in Tampa.
I think it goes without saying that the venue itself is absolutely stunning. When we sat down for dinner we both were taken aback by just how beautiful it was in there, especially at night with all of the candle light.
We couldn't have dreamed up a more perfect, seamless experience from start to the end of the wedding night. We would plan it all over again to work with Kathi & the incredible staff at OE! -

Timeless Venue & Incredible Staff
Oxford Exchange was worth every bit of its cost. We were originally concerned about the price tag associated, but are so pleased with the decision we made to have our special day here.
Beyond the beautiful backdrop it provides for photos throughout the day, the staff is what makes this venue top notch. They regularly hold weddings here and our event went off without a hitch because the team is a well-oiled machine. Everyone knows the timeline, prioritizes the bride, groom, wedding party and families, and goes above and beyond to make your wedding feel like the most important one they've ever worked.
If you choose to have your wedding at Oxford Exchange, you certainly won't regret it. They provide you a list of preferred vendors, saving you the time (and stress) of searching for your photographer, florist, etc. Because of the list provided, we were set up with a true dream team of vendors we likely wouldn't have put together otherwise.
We can't say enough about the month of coordinating service. Make sure you include this in your budget. And request Kathi to be your coordinator. She is phenomenal at her job. Throughout our time working with her she remained so warm & friendly, was organized and offered so many ideas. We shared our dreams with her and she made it a reality.
Our guests complimented us on the venue saying things like "this was the most elegant wedding I've been to" and "best wedding food I've had".

We had an incredible experience with our wedding at Oxford Exchange. We had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth as our coordinator and I cannot say enough good things about her - she was very responsive, paid attention to every detail and really made the planning process seamless. We had an amazing wedding day because we knew that everything was taken care of by Elizabeth and the OE team and we did not have to worry about a thing. Our guests were raving about how beautiful everything was and how amazing the food tasted. I would definitely recommend this venue to other couples. -

WOW! We could not have had the wedding we did without the beautiful venue itself and then on top of that having Kathi help us with every step. She had things for us before we even asked knowing what are next move/question was going to be. She is truly heaven sent with ensuring a stress free day!! I also have to shout out Colby who felt like our friend the whole night and made sure we had the best night celebrating. I had the most elegant and seamless wedding. I was the beneficiary of Oxford's wedding coordination team, especially my wedding coordinator, Kathi. I wanted an extremely hands off approach and they did everything and more and allowed me to enjoy my own wedding. Everything about the day was both picture perfect and organic. They were extremely professional, this is something they do every week and it shows in how organized and on top of everything they were.
Yes the food was great, yes the place was pretty, but the thing I cannot get over was how stress free and relaxed I could be because everything was just handled so well. -

I cannot express into words how magical our wedding/renewal was at the Oxford Exchange. I want to start out saying that working with Kathi Caccamo was an absolute dream! I am a VERY particular person, extremely detail oriented by trade and I have extremely high expectations. Oxford Exchange and their events team met all of those expectations and then some. In my life, I have had some incredible experiences and days, but I have never had a truly perfect day until our wedding. It was truly perfect. I have cried happy tears all weekend because it was so wonderful!
Now for some details. Oxford Exchange does require you to use their approved vendors for florals and cake/desserts, which I highly recommend using the additional vendors they suggest as it is a tight turn around from the time they close to the start of any event. I am truly amazed at how fast the event staff is able to turn over the venue from day to evening and make everything so perfect. I expected there to be glitches somewhere, but the entire day was perfection. The food at a venue can make or break any wedding experience, the food served the evening of our event was spectacular! We are somewhat foodies and on the judgy side when it comes to food in general. We chose to add an option for guests and served the filet and one of the chicken dishes with Meyer Lemon cream sauce. Both dishes were outstanding, and I don't even like chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy and the filets were cooked to perfection and so tender! ALL of our guests raved about the staff, the venue, the food (especially the food) and the entire night as a whole. I am writing this just two days after our wedding and I am still on cloud 9. For the florals, again I was very specific with what I wanted on the tables. Chris with Flora Fine Flowers did all of our floral arrangements, and knocked it out of the park. We did not have a large wedding party, so I did not need a lot of bouquets etc. Again, set up was a breeze, my florals were exactly what I envisioned. Same with our dessert and cake table. Hands on Sweets was in and out, I didn't even know they came to set up.
Throughout the night, Kathi and Colby were there for every whim I needed. Always had a drink ready, made sure we got to eat, took care of packing up all of our gifts and cards so they were ready to go by the end of the night. I did not use a day of wedding coordinator or a wedding coordinator for any planning's I am too much of a control freak. I also was extremely particular with what I wanted for flatware, chargers, goblets and napkins. I found that the rental costs were outrageous. I decided to purchase the items on my own, and saved a lot of money. I plan to keep some of the items for when I entertain at home, then sell the rest of the items. Kathi had everything set up exactly as I had asked when I sent over the mock up photo. All off the chargers, goblets, flatware, napkins, signs, table numbers, etc. were packed up and ready to go by the end of the night. I also wanted a venue for our 2 little dogs to be able to be a part of the ceremony, Oxford Exchange welcomed them and it was the sweetest detail that meant a lot to us. We had someone come pic them up right after the ceremony.
Well in advance, I had a million questions for Kathi and she was always there to be of assistance. Prior to our wedding this year, we attended SIX other weddings, so there were a lot of experiences and ideas to compare. Our evening was truly magical. There is no other way to describe it. The venue truly speaks for itself. I had a very specific vision and that vision came to life at the Oxford Exchange. -

Each space at the Oxford Exchange has its own feel and personality, and Kathi helped us curate an experience to celebrate our story. Kathi is exceptional at what she does, and she genuinely cares about her brides and grooms - it showed in every authentic interaction, thoughtful recommendation, and impeccable attention to detail. I can say with certainty that we couldn't have done it without her!
Ultimately, our wedding day was nothing short of perfection. Every single detail fell into place flawlessly, and not a single issue arose. The entire team was attentive, friendly, and ensured that our guests were well taken care of. We were overwhelmed with compliments about how enjoyable and elegant the evening was. Thanks to Kathi and her exceptional team, my husband and I were able to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the day without any worries. We wholeheartedly recommend Kathi and the Oxford Exchange as a wedding venue to anyone in search of a truly exceptional experience. It was better than we could have ever imagined.

Kathi was an absolute dream! My husband and I got engaged late January 2023, and we wanted a short engagement. Our dream venue (Oxford Exchange) just so happened to have a perfect date in April for us and so we jumped on it! We were a little worried that we wouldn't have enough time to plan everything out with such a short turnaround, but Kathi made it an absolute stress-free, smooth and fun process. We couldn't have done it without her. Not only was she responsive, she was thoughtful, detail oriented and all the while just genuinely excited for us the entire time. Working with Kathi felt like having a long time friend helping us plan the wedding. And, in the end, the wedding was PERFECT. Everything was a dream and went off without a single hitch. We received so many compliments on such a fun, beautiful event. Kathi and her team just handled everything so that my husband and I could just enjoy our special day. I would recommend Kathi and Oxford Exchange to anyone searching for a venue. Just a dream! -

The team at Oxford Exchange--led by the incomparable Kathi--made our reception dreams come true. We had an offsite ceremony and hosted cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing at the OE.
Every. single. thing. was 1. perfect and 2. taken care of. Be ready for compliments of "best wedding ever." Of course the venue is gorgeous (and if you thought the conservatory was pretty during the day, just wait to see how romantic it looks at night) and perfect for a small-medium sized wedding. The food and drinks were incredible.
But really, the Oxford Exchange team is worth every penny. The professionalism of the night was unmatched. We received a personal attendant who was there to wait on us for anything we needed throughout the night. The waitstaff managed to make an 80-person dinner efficient (and served everything warm). Our bridal party got to use a room upstairs to arrive, stash their bags, and grab refreshments before the other guests arrived for cocktail hour.
Your coordinator will walk you through the whole process from start to finish. When you choose Oxford Exchange, you're choosing a team that has everything nailed down to perfection. From the linens, to the food options, to the perfect vendors--choosing Oxford Exchange was the first choice we made and it made all the choices so easy. I cannot recommend OE enough.
And finally, if you do choose OE and get the honor of working with Kathi--you have hit the wedding lotto! We chose to add on an extra coordinating service to also have our OE coordinator be our month-of coordinator, which was also something I would recommend. Holy attention-to-detail! Kathi was there to craft our timeline, make herself accessible to our bridal party and guests, and handle all last-minute logistics (she even tied one of my bridesman's bowties 30 minutes before the ceremony). I cannot thank her enough for bringing the vision to life. -

My now husband and I planned our wedding from out of state, so we knew we wanted a venue that helped with the tables, chairs, linens, and food and drinks were bonus. The OE is such an incredible place, the venue is one of a kind. We had so many compliments on how unique, historic, fun, and intimate the place was! Not to mention how easy they made it on us! They did all the setting up, cleaning up, packaged slices of cake for us, and everything was ready to go by the door at the end of the night. We used the atrium for ceremony and cocktail hour and conservatory for dinner. OE staff flipped the room in less than 10 minutes! The food was fabulous! The shrimp tacos and beef wellington cups were crowd favorites! Our guests and I cannot stop talking about how perfect everything was! It made the wedding day and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! -

Oxford Exchange is rarity in the world of wedding venues. Yes, it's fabulous and beyond beautiful - many can accomplish such.
The attention to detail is immaculate, the event management is accommodating and careful (Elizabeth is the BEST in the business - she made our whole process a smooth sail), the food is incredible, and logistics not able to be topped. They run an impressive operation. I plan to host future events at Oxford Exchange, because they made wedding planning and the day-of so enjoyable.

We had our wedding reception at Oxford Exchange and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The venue itself is absolutely STUNNING - every single detail in OE is breathtaking. What really stood out to us though, was the customer service that OE provided us. Every staff member we met was so kind, helpful, and professional. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we have everyone involved to thank for that.
All of our guests were blown away not only with the venue, but the FOOD. OE's food is incredible and definitely will be something all our guests will remember. We had multiple people tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to!
We have to give a special shout out to Kathi, our day-of coordinator. Kathi is truly one of the most amazing people we've ever met! From our initial meeting, to all the emails and phone calls in-between, she was SO helpful and knowledgeable. She thought of everything before we could and was always one step ahead. She made our day go so smoothly and everyone was so thankful for her guidance. The day after the wedding, our families talked about how we all already missed Kathi lol!

Kathi is the events coordinator for the Oxford Exchange and she was incredible to work with! My husband and I were having a petite wedding at the OE, which only allows for 8 weeks of preparation. Kathi was great at walking me through the entire process and coordination. It was very apparent that Kathi has a great deal of experience with weddings/events, which made me feel comfortable and I knew I was in good hands. The day of our wedding, Kathi took care of setting our guest book table, our sweetheart table and our rooms for us to get ready. Throughout the evening she made sure we were on schedule and made sure we were well taken care of. The staff was was great, the food was excellent and the venue was just spectacular! If you’re thinking of getting married or throwing a private event at the Oxford Exchange, don’t hesitate. It is worth every penny and you get a fantastic coordinator to help your event go perfectly!

The Oxford Exchange is a picture-perfect venue, staffed with employees who tend to your every need and provide nothing short of an unforgettable event for you and your Guests. My wife and I along with our Guests were WOWed at the professionalism of the staff, quality, experience. Kathi was our wedding planner for the event and she was INCREDIBLE. She treats you as if you are the only people that matter and you are her total focus (although she has so many vendors, load-ins, etc. to handle). Kathi helped save our day when our photographer contracted COVID right before the event and landed us the perfect photographer for our event! Thank you! The food and beverage were impeccable and Guests still talk about how incredible the food was (Appetizers: Mini Tacos, General Tsao's Chicken, Whipped Burrata Cristinis... Dinner: Filet + Sea Bass). That Sea Bass was UNREAL. So good! We had the time of our life and would not have changed a thing about our special day. This is the spot for your wedding and hire Kathi for your coordination efforts-- worth 3x your investment! -

The venue is breath-taking (even more beautiful at night than it is during the day).
The staff is awesome (Kathi made sure everything ran perfectly), and the place is just absolutely wonderful.

Couldn't Ask For a Better Experience
Oxford Exchange is not only a stunning venue, but the people you will work with are extraordinary. There are so many options whether you have a large wedding planned or just something intimate. As soon as I got the tour with Kathi I knew I had to get married here. Even the bathrooms are gorgeous. Our original wedding date was in April of 2020 so you can imagine how devastated we were but Kathi cared about US. She made sure we were doing okay and was more than accommodating throughout that tough time. On top of that, from the tasting to the ridiculous amount of emails I sent, we felt cared for and supported. The servers, bartenders, and everyone involved the day of were fantastic. I hear a lot of brides say they didn't get to eat on their wedding day but they made sure I ate lol! I even felt sick at one point, probably from all the fun, and Kathi came into the bathroom and brought me ginger ale. My parents couldn't stop complimenting how much care they received as well. Kathi made sure we stayed on track with our timeline and I didn't lift a finger all day. I wouldn't change one thing about my wedding day thanks to them! -

Dreamy Venue
I cannot begin to express how incredible Oxford Exchange and their event planning team is. Special shout out to Elizabeth - she is the absolute best!!! First of all, the venue itself is beautiful. That is enhanced tenfold for weddings. It is truly magical at night.
From the beginning of the day: we rented the smith room early so all hair/makeup etc. could be done in one location. OE had it set up with a hanging rack, full length mirror, charcuterie board, champagne, water and soda for the ladies. They even had a wedding gift laid out. It was amazing. The guys were greeted with a bucket of ice cold beer; as you can imagine, that was well received.
The food - don't even get me started on the food. Our hors d'oeuvres were so delicious; the guests loved them. The entrees were cooked to perfection, tasted amazing & were complimented so many times. Nobody had to wait more than a few minutes to be served. The open bar was run very smoothly. The overall level of professionalism of the staff working the event was unmatched. My husband and I took a moment to ourselves during cocktail hour, and during that time an OE staff member brought us two of each appetizer to ensure we were able to try them. We didn't even ask for that. It was so appreciated.
The attention to detail and overall professionalism that was displayed was remarkable. The event flowed seamlessly and I could not be happier. Would 10/10 recommend OE as a wedding venue. We wish we could to it over again. Thank you! -

Beyond perfect wedding venue for so many reasons!
Can’t begin to capture all the reasons why Oxford Exchange was a perfect venue for our wedding day. First, it is an absolutely breathtaking space. The required and recommend vendors while at first seems limiting, is for good reason as they are all so so talented, easy to work with, and go well above and beyond to make your day perfect. Second, we had the extreme pleasure of working with Kathi who
not only made sure every detail was perfect from our tasting before the wedding all the way through our exit, but she was just a joy to work with and did so much to make everything so special. Kathi went out of her way to make recommendations for every little thing we asked about including hair, a classic car driver, balloon company, and even someone that could take care of our pup! The fact that everything was so turnkey was an immense help especially with our schedules and the changes we had to make due to the pandemic. I would not hesitate to pick this venue and and am looking for reasons to host more events here! -

The whole Oxford Exchange team truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day amazing! Carolina is a dream to work with, even if you live out of town – she's organized, flexible, fun, and has fantastic suggestions when you need help deciding on little details. She made sure everything flowed smoothly throughout the day, and she even brought us cocktails and appetizers when we were taking family pictures for longer than expected during cocktail hour. The food and drinks were incredible across the board, and we still hear from our friends and family about how much fun they loved the beautiful space. We can't imagine getting married anywhere else! -

Oxford Exchange had already held some significant meaning for us both going into planning our wedding, so in hindsight we suppose it shouldn't be surprising at all that it became a near-instant proclamation of "this is the one" when selecting a venue. From the very first meeting, to the tastings, to the big day itself, the staff at OE made us feel like royalty, and threw an unforgettably kick-ass party to prove it. With us living in Seattle and getting married in Tampa, it was an absolute God-send to have staff like Carolina, Sarah, and more who remained in constant communication on details and arrangements, and took so much of the stress out of the overall planning process. On the big day itself, Christina attended to us at every turn (especially appreciated with the groom on crutches) and helped orchestrate an unforgettable evening for absolutely everyone involved. The venue itself was gorgeous, the timing impeccable, and the food... dear Lord, the food. We're not sure we've ever had so many compliments on how good everything tasted. From opening discussions to our grand exit, Oxford Exchange proved to be simply perfect. We would do it a hundred times over again the exact same way if given the choice. If you're on the fence about finding a venue for your amazing milestone, you can go ahead and hop off now. You've found it. -

Wow. Oxford Exchange exceeded every one of our expectations and some. Carolina, the Private Events Manager, was incredibly focused and detail oriented. The servers and bartenders we're friendly and on top of everything all night. The food was AMAZING. The venue is like someone plucked your favorite downtown New York hang out spot, dropped in in the middle of Tampa, and gave it a fairytale makeover. Absolutely stunning and it was the perfect back drop for our forever photos. Thank you for hosting our dream wedding! -

Christina Sent on 12/12/2017Before we were even thinking of engagement or weddings, we used to go to Oxford Exchange quite a bit for coffee or brunch. Almost as soon as we got engaged, we emailed immediately to see if they could set up an appointment with us and if they had our date available. We met with Michelle and she gave us a tour of the building, a packet of menu options, and a detailed breakdown of pricing. We came prepared with about 40 questions and she answered every one of them. Within two weeks, we booked out date. We booked about two years out, so it wasn't until about 4 months to our wedding that the real planning began. Prior to that, we had emailed several times with Michelle, Sarah, and Brooks - all of the OE girls were absolutely amazing and so helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. They had great recommendations for us in terms DJ's, linens, decor, etc. It's important to note that they do have a preferred vendor list for a few things: IE - cakes and dessert by Chocolate Pi and 3 florist options - that you must choose from. However, this for us made the process a lot easier and every vendor we met with exceeded our expectations and reminded us why we booked with OE. These vendors are the BEST of the best and the end result from all of the vendors was flawless! We had our tasting about 4 months out and from there, everything fell in to place. The best part about booking at OE is the place is so gorgeous, we didn't have to add any other decor besides flowers and centerpieces. The menu options are endless and the chef, Rachel, was beyond accommodating and worked with us to create a menu we loved. The day of the wedding, it was amazing to watch everyone at OE transform the space in to our vision - all under an hour too! The night was magical, our guests were in awe of the space, and we could have stayed there all night to keep the magic going! If you're debating booking here, we highly encourage you to grab a cup of coffee or tea and sit and stay awhile. :)

A Dream Wedding at the Oxford Exchange
Getting married at the Oxford Exchange was an absolute dream! The moody yet stylish venue is stunning, offering an ambiance that's both unique and captivating. It's one of the few historic venues in Florida that provides an all-indoor setting, which is essential for weddings in this state. The food and service were impeccable, and everything ran smoothly on our wedding day.
We chose to have our ceremony offsite at a nearby church due to our larger guest count, which would have required using the upstairs space at the OE. While beautiful, it doesn't compare to the breathtaking elegance of the ground floor. Adding touches like a disco ball, coffee bar, and espresso martinis to our reception was a fantastic decision—these elements were a huge hit with our guests!
After consulting with six different wedding planners, I realized that OE's in-house day-of wedding coordinator, Kathi, was the perfect choice. Kathi was an absolute lifesaver. From the moment she stepped in, everything was executed with precision, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the joy of our special day. Her attention to detail was extraordinary; she anticipated needs we didn't even know we had and resolved any issues before they could arise.
Kathi managed the timeline seamlessly, coordinating with vendors and ensuring that every element of the day flowed perfectly. Her logistical expertise allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment, confident that everything was under control.
Effective communication and organization are Kathi's strengths. She kept everyone on track, and her intimate knowledge of the Oxford Exchange proved invaluable, making her far superior to any outside planner or coordinator.

This venue is unmatched. From the moment we walked into OE we knew this was the place we wanted to have our reception.
From start to finish, OE was professional and organized. A HUGE thank you to Carolina. She was the best. She is calm, professional and listens to your wants and needs!
Pros:
- The venue has a lot of character. It is hands down the most beautiful venue in Tampa. Guest will be talking for months about how beautiful your wedding was
- Required vendors are easy to work with (florist and cake)
- Staff is professional
- They let you borrow any furniture inside
- The food is the best in Tampa. The main meals are plentiful unique
- You don't need to hire a food vendor because they do it in house. Kitchen is in house so food is fresh
- Very organized
- Food tasting included
- OE has so much character you don't need much to dress your wedding up. You don't have to spend a ton on flowers and decorations because of how beautiful it is already
- Classy
- JUST BEAUTIFUL
Cons:
- Layout is a bit weird and not traditional, but the venue is stunning
- At nighttime it gets very dark inside. There is not much lighting
- The venue closes at 530 so you cannot start until 630. When we tried to get pictures inside it was very difficult because there is a lot of moving bodies, furniture, setting up, etc.
- The passed appetizers were very skimpy, I was disappointed in charcuterie display. For what you pay for it was very little display
Overall AMAZING venue. It is the BEST in Tampa. If I could do it all over again I would. -

We are so happy with our wedding at OE! We originally had an April wedding, which was rescheduled to August due to covid. We ultimately cut our guest list to 40 for our August day. Our day felt so special still and all of our guests felt safe. Kathi was incredible day of and help the night flow so smoothly. Everyone loved the venue and food, couldn’t ask for a better night, even with covid changing our plans twice! -

I want to start off saying Oxford Exchange was my first and only wedding venue choice. After having to move our wedding from Greece to the US, it was a no brainer I’d be having my wedding here. I simply just love the chicness and elegance, and the little decor needed as the space is already beautifully decorated. I’m going to start off by explaining what I didn’t like, following up with what I did.
I am a very, VERY, particular bride and was very specific with some of the things I wanted. There were some things when working with Oxford that I did not like. For example, we used their day of coordinator and I didn’t feel as I got my money’s worth. I did feel better that it wasn’t an outside company or individual, rather someone who knew the space, but I truly felt in control still. We had a champagne wall and I was very adamant I did not want full glasses being poured (rather only a few sips worth) as it’s charged off consumption. Was a little peeved when I saw pictures of the wall and the glasses were so full, to then getting my invoice and it was a more than I had wanted to pay. I know things go wrong on the wedding day and you just need to go with the flow, but that’s hard for my perfectionistic self. The ceremony seating chart got messed up and out of order (even with an excel spreadsheet and picture provided) which I really did not like to see as my grandparents were then placed all the way on the side, in the back. Having had a ceremony in the first place for them to see and witness, I was not happy about the mixup, actually rather sad. My grandparents could not hear the vows because of the placement mixup. The dj announced the last song at 12:05am (as he stated he was told to), about 20 minutes before we were scheduled to end. I went up and informed him to keep playing as we aren’t scheduled to end yet. He did, but I didn’t appreciate my night trying to be cut short as I was having too much fun. We also communicated we ordered 30 extra servings of cake so we would be able to take the leftovers home, only to find out they had cut larger pieces than supposed to and used it all. Kinda sucked as my fiancé and I were really looking forward to the leftovers. I also just felt like the communication from the team was lacking in the months leading up. Sometimes taking a full week to at least hear back from someone…. I really only had three months to plan this wedding, and was desperate for advice and answers and constantly had to wait.
The pros were the food and drink options, all were delicious and beautifully prepared and displayed. Having a venue basically be inclusive when it comes to the vendors and tables/chairs/linens was sooo nice as it’s one less thing to worry about. The planning was good, but I did expect more. I LOVED our coordinator, but I did sometimes feel neglected or out of the loop when it came to some things, especially the schedule of the day. Though there were negatives, it was honestly such a beautiful event I’m glad we had it here. The space, THE STAFF, the food, all amazing. When the communication was good, it was really good! The meetings were great. They were able to work with my needs and wants for the most part. The setup and tear down were seamless and we hardly noticed. But I just can’t reiterate how Beautiful the space was and the compliments we got on everything! We counted and had at least 22 people tell us it was the best, most beautiful wedding.
Honesty is the best policy and wanted to be completely transparent about our day. I love it and wouldn’t change anything (apart from my grandparents seats).
Now, I will recommend hiring a photographer that has experience shooting there. I loved our photographer from the first time I saw her pictures and felt reassured she had previously shot there. Her name is Stephanie Velez and her pictures are just out of this world.
Another tip, work with the florist on your budget! You are instructed to use one of their preferred florists which was fine but then was a little shocked when we saw the initial quote. I was able to cut her down more than half and loved what she did. (We used Carmen’s Flowers) -

I got married at Oxford recently and it was an absolutely beautiful day. Oxford was my first and only choice for my reception venue and I have absolutely no regrets using them. I’ll start with the pros and then mention the few cons just so other brides can be aware. First, the venue is completely stunning you hardly have to do anything to it. It includes so many things (tables, chairs, linen napkins, etc) and I loved that I barely had to spend any money on florals or decor, just some roses and candles. Everyone was obsessed with the look and I got a million compliments on how beautiful it was. They also do all set up and tear down for you which is perfect. The food was delicious (we did grilled chicken and short rib duo entree, highly recommend the short rib) and I loved that we got served first and had the passed apps brought to us since we missed half of the cocktail hour. They also made sure to keep our drinks filled and bring us champagne for toasts which is such a nice detail. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They have required vendors for cake and florals but they have a range of prices which is nice. We used publix and it was delicious and one of their new florists that was affordable. I did have an issue where my first florist cancelled and sent me to a new florist that Oxford would not let me use, but they were able to find a new florist for me which worked out. Overall it was unbelievably beautiful and I had the best day.
Some issues I had were mostly with coordination. Oxford includes day of coordinating which was a huge perk for me that ultimately kind of let me down. I worked with Kathi for a majority of the process and she was phenomenal. Two months before the wedding I reached out because of the florist cancellation and was told that Kathi was no longer with them. I’m not sure what happened or what was going on but it was frustrating to only find that out after I reached out. I was assigned a new day of coordinator who I didn’t get to meet until I arrived at the reception. I was supposed to meet her two days before to drop my items off and go over everything (or so I thought, could be miscommunication on my part) but was told she was busy when I got there. While she was very nice and helpful there were a few things wrong that would not have happened if they prioritized meeting before the day. Nothing major that ruined the day by any means, just details that were wrong like the entire welcome table was not as I planned with Kathi and it was overcrowded with stuff that I was told would be on a separate table. Our coordinator also left at midnight which I thought was odd. Our wedding did go late so maybe that is their normal protocol, but if so I was never told and assumed she would stay until it was over. Because of this the exit was chaotic and I was having to tell everyone what to do and to grab their things since she was not there. She was very nice and helpful while she was there, I just wish they had better communication overall. I was also told we could take the extra dinners home for those who didn’t show but when it came time to ask for them they said no. My sisters husband had to miss to take care of their sick child and they wouldn’t give her his dinner to go, which was a little annoying since the dinners are well over $100 each. Maybe the coordinator could have remedied this but I couldn’t find her in the moment and my sister had to leave. Also, we were told we could start photos after 5:30 when the restaurant closes but when we got there we were told we had to wait until 6 because they were doing a rehearsal. We had to wait until a little after 6 before we got start pictures which was frustrating and I was not told of before hand. We had to rush family portraits inside and it was winter so the sun set at 6 anyways so the lighting was worse. None of these issues ruined our day by any means, we really had the best day ever and I was so stress free because they handled almost everything. These were just a few irritating issues that I wouldn’t have expected with a venue so expensive and established.
At the end of the day, the wedding was so beautiful and I have no regrets using Oxford Exchange as my reception venue. We had the best day and I love all the photos and videos from the night. I would just encourage future brides to over communicate and speak up when something isn’t right! I think an issue or two of mine would have been resolved if I said something and I take responsibility for that, I was just in a great mood and didn’t want to deal! -
