I was so fortunate to be able to work with Victoria with Outstanding Occasions and I cannot speak highly enough about her! She was organized, flexible, responsive, detail oriented, kind, and most importantly such an amazing friend to have walk us through this entire process. People keep asking if anything went wrong during the weekend. Victoria was so amazing that I honestly could not tell you if something was off because she was always thinking 10 steps ahead. Victoria is truly exceptional. From the very beginning, she handled every conversation, detail, and expectation with a level of professionalism and ease that instantly made us feel at peace.
We got married at Sottise, and even when we couldn’t fully articulate our exact vision, she just got it. She understood what we were hoping for and brought it to life in a way that felt completely us, and perfectly fit the space and experience at Sottise.
What sets her apart is not just her expertise, but who she is as a person. She is kind, honest, and incredibly thoughtful in how she approaches every decision. We always felt like we were getting genuine guidance, not just “yes” answers, which made such a difference in trusting the process. Her level of organization, awareness, and follow-through is next level. She thought of everything before it even crossed our minds, which allowed us to relax, be present, and enjoy. And when things could have felt overwhelming, she stepped in seamlessly and kept everything running smoothly, bringing a sense of calm and control to every moment of planning.
She is quite literally an absolute need, not a want, for your wedding day. We truly don’t know what we would have done without her. Victoria Meadows at Outstanding Occasions
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Victoria Meadows from Outstanding Occasions for my daughter’s wedding, and I cannot express all the wonderful things about our experience. From our first meeting to the final moments of the reception, Victoria was organized, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the day unforgettable. She didn’t just plan an event—she helped create one of the most meaningful, joy‑filled days of our lives.
What impressed us most was their ability to anticipate needs before we even voiced them. Every detail—big and small—was handled with such care and professionalism. Victoria and her team kept us calm, on schedule, and completely confident that everything was under control. The vendors she recommended were great, her timeline ran flawlessly, and the entire event felt seamless. I loved that we were able to truly be present, soaking in every moment, because Victoria was quietly orchestrating everything behind the scenes with grace and intention.
Alexandra and Kyle’s wedding day was magical, and was everything they wanted and more. We owe so much of that to Victoria. Her kindness and dedication to making sure everything was the way we wanted was always noticed. Our family will forever be grateful for the care and compassion that her whole team put into the wedding. We recently got married on 10.24.25 in Arizona and Outstanding Occasions helped create the most magical day for our wedding day. We worked personally with Rachelle and she was simply the best. She made planning a destination wedding effortless. She was a joy to work with, she is connected with all the local vendors, and was very detailed oriented. She was there every step of the way and for every tough decision. She truly took my Pinterest wedding board and made it a reality. We also appreciated that she helped us find ways to save money during the planning process not the other way around. We would highly recommend Outstanding Occasions for their wedding planning services, they exceeded all of our expectations. -

Rachelle was fabulous
Rachelle was amazing! Very professional and knowledgeable. The many vendors we used for florist, event, band, bakery, stationery… she had worked with them all and knew them well. Everything was above our expectations.
We splurged on some things but helped us cut back on other things that we could. I had no worries that when we walked into the event all would be perfect. And it was -

A wedding NEED! Hire the planner (specifically Caitlin @ Outstanding Occasions)!
Caitlin with Outstanding Occasions is the type of planner you NEED for your wedding. Not once did I (the bride) sweat, stress or have a moment of panic, because Caitlin was on it. She was organized, meticulous, highly communicative, honest, a great listener and someone I genuinely could rely on.
I literally feel like I lived a fairytale on my wedding day and can’t believe that I get to say that wedding was mine. It was beyond my expectations and more than anything I could have envisioned! Caitlin not only understood our vision, but exceeded it, even in the final hours when rain was in the forecast. It wasn’t just aesthetically beautiful, but she facilitated the perfect flow of events from guests arriving and receiving champagne (yum + such a luxe touch) to the ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. A black tie event that guests will remember because everything was intentionally done and felt personal. She helped plan the most epic event.
We have received so many compliments on the florals, the little touches, the music (!!!), the speakeasy, the food - with so many saying it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended (even one of our groomsmen said they felt like they were living in a dream).
I can’t thank Caitlin and the incredible crew of women at Outstanding Occasions (Kathryn and Rachel) enough for being part of our wedding journey and for making it a DREAM for my husband and me, and our entire family! Rachelle was our planner for both our wedding and welcome party the night before and she was INCREDIBLE. We live in London so we thought planning a wedding from a different country could be difficult but she made the process so easy and was amazing to work with. The welcome party was at my parents home and we would not have been able to pull it off without her - from her recommendations for catering to how rentals and lighting should be set up, having her plan and coordinating everything made our lives so much easier, especially the days leading up and the day of. She also gave incredible vendor recommendations for the wedding and we loved everyone we worked with so much. Throughout the wedding weekend we received so many compliments on both events and everything was perfect thanks to Rachelle!!! We said numerous times how grateful we were for her and her team at Outstanding Occasions and I could not imagine trying to plan the wedding without her. Couldn’t be happier
Victoria with outstanding occasions was nothing short of amazing. Victoria answered every phone call, text and email promptly. She knew every answer to my questions. Outstanding occasions made the whole process super easy for me. They provided a timeline of the whole day, a seating chart and visual, was the main point of contact for all of my many vendors, and set up and took down all decor. That is just a small list of everything they did but there is much more they provided. Katherine victorias assistant was also very sweet and beyond helpful during the wedding. Me and my husband could not have asked for a better coordinator. Will forever be thankful and highly recommend the outstanding occasions team. -

Victoria at Outstanding Occasions is INCREDIBLE
Choosing to work with Victoria at OO for my wedding was by far the best decision I made throughout the whole planning process. She was with me every step of the way, always supportive and armed with advice and knowledge. I live out of the area, and knowing that she was there in-person to coordinate with my vendors was helpful and reassuring. She was also supportive and empathetic in helping me deal with the stress and drama that inherently comes along with planning! Post-wedding, I even now consider Victoria a friend and would highly recommend her to anyone who asks! -

Outstanding occasions is amazing!
When my daughter first got engaged, I was convinced that the whole planning process was going to be so stressful and overwhelming! We had no idea where to even begin and how to make her vision come to life. We knew we wanted a planner to help us, but I also thought that would be difficult as I am a total self-proclaimed control freak!
My daughter chose Outstanding Occasions and from the beginning to the end, it was amazing!!!
Victoria met with my daughter on multiple occasions to really get to know her and to be able to get the perfect idea of what her dream wedding looked like. She made sure to include me via facetime and always kept both of in the loop on everything going on. She helped us figure out what we could DIY versus where it was worth it to splurge. She made sure we stayed on task during planning and made every decision seem almost easy.
The day of the wedding was an absolute DREAM!!!! Victoria and her team made sure everyone was where they needed to be, when they needed to be there. She literally handled Every. Single. Detail. the entire day and we just showed up and had fun. The amount of stress that was lifted off our shoulders knowing that this special day was in the hands of an incredible team was priceless for my daughter and myself. I kept waiting to feel stressed or worried and I just simply was not. Victoria and her team were our eyes and ears for everything from the vendors to the guests and there wasn’t a beat skipped all day.
I can truly say that the entire experience was a dream and we owe that to Victoria and her team at Outstanding Occasions. I would do the whole thing again and again, as long as I had them!!!

The best wedding experience I could ask for!
I cannot say enough positive things about Victoria with Outstanding Occasions & their whole team. Victoria truly made our wedding experience stress free during our entire engagement. She was so organized, kind, detail oriented, and fun to work with. I can 100 percent say my wedding day was as perfect as possible thanks to Victoria and her team. Victoria was thoughtful when checking in on me, and was always helpful taking care of any small hiccups. Her and her team worked so hard on every single detail so we could just enjoy the wedding day without stressing about anything big or small. We had so many guests comment on how beautiful everything was set up, and how friendly and professional the OO team was. I cannot thank Victoria enough for everything she did for us during the wedding process, and helping to create the most perfect and memorable day! -

I am not from AZ and do not reside in PHX, so I was thrilled to meet and begin working with my wedding coordinator, Danielle Goettle of Outstanding Occasions who I needed to help guide me through the local and specific aspects of a destination wedding location.
I am an organized type-A person and have been to dozens of weddings and knew what I wanted for 75% of my vision, so I didn’t need a “FULL SERVICE” vendor to do it all. When I learned that Outstanding Occasions had different packages that could be customized to execute the remainder of what I needed help with, the planning and final details became effortless and a breeze with Danielle’s expertise, local points of reference, and help. She was ALWAYS going to listen to my wish and vision first, but each time there was a decision to make where I had the opportunity to consult a variety of vendors, Danielle was sure to present the best options for my consideration. She would suggest why I might wish to go with any of them, but always left it up to me to “feel it out” on my own since I ultimately had to be the one to pay them and have them share the vision of my special day.
Danielle would take things off my plate - constantly! It was helpful to delegate specific things to her and the Outstanding Occasions team and know that it was handled the minute it was discussed. Everyone in attendance at our wedding commented that I seemed so refreshed and focused; truly enjoying the moment! I know much of those calm and relaxed feelings came from 'to do's' being taken from my list and placed on Danielle's. I am so appreciative for her thorough attention to detail. She never delivered any news with a sense of urgency or panic, but always with genuine excitement and balanced attention that left me feeling my best! I am so lucky to have made a new friend! Kerry Sent on 06/25/2010Sharisa was such a joy to work with! She works for Outstanding-Occasions, a wedding planning company based in Phoenix, AZ. Heather and Jennifer are the owners (who also do weddings) and Sharisa is one of their amazing associate planners! She has an eye for style and perfection and I felt so comfortable letting her take care of everything. I had given her tons of boxes of decorations and supplies and told her to just put them wherever she felt they should go and the end result was BREATHTAKING! I could never have imagined everything would look so perfect! Since then she has become a personal friend of mind and I couldn't recommend a better wedding planner. She works with budgets and will customize her price list to whatever you feel works best for you and your wallet. Her eye for style is so refreshing because I didn't want my wedding to look like everyone elses with the same layout and decorations. I wanted something new and vintage without looking thrifty or tacky, and she pulled it off without a problem. She is honest (which was VERY important to me) because I wanted someone who I could trust would tell me if an idea I had would be realistic or look "out of place." Caitlin Caval was my husband's and my wedding planner in April and we cannot say enough great things about her! She instantly understood our vision and always allowed us to make our own decisions but gave her input when needed. Part way through planning, we decided we wanted to have her plan our rehearsal dinner as well. She handles all of the stress so well and always seems cool, calm and collected. Our rehearsal dinner and wedding by far surpassed our expectations and we owe it all to Caitlin and her team! If we did it all over again we would 1000% use Outstanding Occasions again! -

The worst decision I made while planning was hiring Caitlin at Outstanding Occasions. She came highly recommended by our venue, so we trusted that she would provide excellent service. I had doubts about her service throughout the planning process, but brushed them off thinking that when our day came we would have her full attention. Leading up to the wedding, I always felt like our wedding was not a priority- there would be very delayed response/communication and on multiple occasions vendors that she was managing would have our names wrong, and we were sent other couples contracts. My mom would reassure me that they (OO) needed to focus on the bride that was that week and on my day, the focus would be all mine. Unfortunately, "all mine" on the day of only works if the legwork leading up to the day is completed accurately.
There were so many things that slipped through the cracks it is hard to know where to begin. First of all, our photographer did not have our very detailed shot list which started the wedding on a stressful note as we were trying to make sure we got all the shots we wanted. Next, right before the first look Caitlin notified me she could not find the marriage license. The license was supposed to be included with all day-of items given to her the day before. We are shocked that she did not have a checklist to make sure we gave her everything needed for the wedding. The reason we hired a planner was so that I would not have to be stressed or worry about things going smoothly the day of. The assistant forgot to give me my bouquet (it was sitting in water in the bridal suite) and they sent me down the aisle with no bouquet. I realized as I was walking down the aisle and didn’t know what to do with my hands and my heart sank. Caitlin and her assistant were the final check before sending me down the aisle and completely failed me.
In addition to making sure the details are in order and the day runs smoothly, the planner’s main job is to ensure everything was set up correctly, which it was not. I specifically said multiple times no colored lighting as I wanted soft/candle-lit lighting for reception (and paid $$$ to have candles and extra chandeliers rented). The band had set up colored (blue/purple) up lighting on the stage and had a large TV screen with their logo right in front, ruining the backdrop of our first dance. We did not see the full set-up of the reception until after our first dance as we entered the room and immediately started dancing. Now all of our first dance pictures are colored blue and have an ugly TV in the background. I had to text Caitlin under the table during my father’s toast to tell her to fix the lights and remove the TV so they wouldn’t ruin the father/daughter dance pictures as well. This is something Caitlin should have corrected before anyone entered the reception space and certainly before I had to ask her to fix it. I felt the entire time like I had to fix things she was not paying attention to.
It is hard to put in words how disappointed and devastated I feel. To add salt on the wound, we have not heard anything from Caitlin after the wedding. I would expect some type of final communication would go out to all couples after their wedding (even an automated email thanking us for our business). We reached out to Caitlin a few weeks after the wedding to express our disappointment in her services and never received any response. I am shocked by the lack of professionalism they have shown.
The sole reason we paid a wedding planner was to make sure the details were all in order. Outstanding Occasions is clearly either taking on more business than they can handle or are just not organized and detail-oriented. They were one of the most expensive planning companies we interviewed, but we thought it would be worth it to not have to stress on the wedding day. I encourage future brides to find a planner that makes every wedding they take on a priority, pays attention to the details, and actually cares about their business.
