I highly recommend Guy / Our Wedding Movie!! We felt the service was top notch - The communication was excellent from start to finish. The videographers were professional and paid the best attention to detail, they also made us feel comfortable on our wedding day - everything felt organic and nothing felt too forced. We are absolutely obsessed with the final results, they captured all the best moments - from the ceremony, first dance, speeches, dance time, and everything in between! When I first started planning my wedding I did not want the expense of a videographer but I had some brides tell me that I would regret it. I found Our Wedding Movie online and decided to go for it. I am so glad I did! They were easy to book online and have different packages to choose from. I just received the video and could not have asked for a better memory of the day. The video is beautiful. It was well put together with the music I asked for. Sound quality and picture were on point. I'm so glad I found them and thankful for the beautiful video they created. I will watch it over and over again. I would 100% recommend Our Wedding Movie to any couples looking for a reliable videographer.

My husband Scott and I had our wedding in Oak Brook, IL on Friday July 15, 2023 and we hired Our Wedding Movie Inc as our Wedding Videographer. When I tell you they arw AMAZINGLY PHENOMENAL. They truly are!!!! Our day was already off to a great start BUT from the moment our videohrapher arrived (promptly on time a PLUS) it was all magical. He captured every moment we requested and moments we hadn't thought of. He was there from the moment of the first stroke of my make up artist's brush until the last dance of the evening. The beautiful way he captured priceless moments on video have left us as well as our guests in awe. The quality is simply SUPERB!!!!!! and their prices are STUPENDOUS for the QUALITY, PROFESSIONALISM and RELIABILITY that they deliver!!!!!! My husband and I had a great experience working with Our Wedding Movie. They had great options for very affordable prices and were responsive whenever we emailed with questions. On our wedding day, the videographer was pleasant and we almost didn't even notice that he was there, yet they were able to capture our day in such a beautiful way. Both the wedding Hilite and Full Movie are expertly done, matched to our song requests and include all of the special moments from our big day. We will cherish these movies forever! A truly exceptional experience!

Great Wedding Videographer
We loved working with Our Wedding Movie! David was a great videographer. He was very pleasant to work with and worked well with our wedding photographer. All of the big key moments were captured. David got some great shots of my husband joking around with his groomsmen, which was fun to see looking back. We appreciated the extra footage of the church before the ceremony began and the reception hall before guests arrived. Our main goals were to have our big day captured simply, with good quality and an affordable price, and we got all of those things with Our Wedding Movie. We would recommend them to anyone!

Budget-friendly Videographer!
Our Wedding Movie was the perfect choice for our wedding. We knew we wanted a videographer, but didn't want to spend $2k+. We were already on a tight budget and had limited resources for an extra vendor. I stumbled upon OWM, saw they were reasonably priced and had add-on's to accommodate all our needs. We chose the silver package and added the highlight reel, an additional hour, and 2 physical discs. The cost of all these items together was a fraction of what other companies were charging.
The owner Guy was easy to communicate with - I did have to follow up on a few emails during the time we signed our contract to the days before our wedding, but I didn't mind because I prefer to be on top of things and had to do the same with other vendors. Guy also helped us out when our photographer failed to capture images for us. It meant a lot to me and my husband that Guy graciously offered his help and eased our after wedding stress.
Christian was our videographer for our wedding day and was so great to work with! He arrived early, was attentive and captured so many beautiful moments of our day. He was very kind and professional. He stayed until our contracted end time and made sure to find me on the dance floor to let me know he was taking off rather than just disappearing. It was great to work with him!
Overall, if you are on a budget and want a simple, well constructed video to capture your day, go with Our Wedding Movie.

Beautiful movie of our wedding day
Our Wedding Movie was a great company to work with, who also offer reasonable pricing. Our videographer showed up on time and captured every special moment. He also worked great with our photographer so they never got in each other’s way. We were able to pick out the music we wanted to play throughout the video. They also use a wireless microphone on the groom to capture the entire ceremony. Our video is an hour and 45 minutes so we definitely got a lot of footage. We are so happy that we will always be able to look back on our special day forever’

Julian was the absolute best! He captured our wedding SO beautifully. Everyone who’s watched our video couldn’t hold back their tears within the first few minutes of our video. Julian was punctual and so polite! There was so much going on, I wasn’t sure how our video would turn out but it was the candid moments and small details along with when he cued our song choices in just brought it all together. Glad We Got a Videographer
Going into wedding planning, I wasn't sure if I wanted a videographer. My husband really wanted one so we decided to price it out to see how expensive it would be. Our Wedding Movie was the perfect compromise. We got an excellent price so that we can have a movie to capture our day forever. We opted for the bronze package so that we could get our vows and first dance to show our kids some day. Unfortunately my grandparents also ended up not being able to attend, so I am so glad my husband talked me into getting a video so we can go over there to relive our day with them.

Wonderful Videography at a Phenomenal Price!!!
If you think you can’t afford wedding videography, THINK AGAIN!!! Words can’t express how in love I am with our wedding videos! I originally just wanted our ceremony captured as a keepsake, but Guy was so affordable that we ended up picking the most expensive package and hung out with him and Jeremy the entire wedding day! We live in Northwest Indiana and he is out of Schaumburg, IL, so I was nervous to see if he would be willing to even capture our wedding, and thankfully he was! The travel fee was minimal, too. I was hesitant because this company is literally 1/3 of the price of videography companies around here, and then they only are with you a few hours and do a quick highlight with nothing else! Our wedding movie was with us through our pre-ceremony, ceremony, photos, cocktail hour and three hours of the reception! Guy and Jeremy were so professional and personable, and they worked incredibly well with our photography team! They really pay attention to family dynamics and really care about giving you your own personalized experience. Their pricing seemed way too good to be true, but it definitely isn’t!!! I cannot speak more highly about Our Wedding Movie. On our wedding day, unfortunately, our hired photographer did not show up, or her assistant photographer. As you can imagine, our day of joy quickly turned to anger and disappointment. However, Our Wedding Movie more than made up for the lack of a photographer. We were worried that priceless moments wouldn't be captured because of no photographer, but Vick, our videographer from Our Wedding Movie, more than stepped up. Our replacement photographer would not be able to make it until after the ceremony, but Vick took charge and led the way and helped organize everything for our wedding guests who volunteered to take photos.
We ordered the package that included two Blu-rays. I could not be more blown away by the packaging, the presentation, and the overall quality of the Blu-rays. I have seen other friends' wedding videos, and they do not even compare to ours in those areas. I have shown this video to a few friends, and they were blown away by it. Vick, as well as Our Wedding Movie, did an absolutely tremendous job capturing our special day, and they really saved the day when we needed them. I cannot recommend this company more for your special day!

We are so happy with "Our Wedding Movie"! This was a surprise from my mom as part of our wedding gift and we are so thankful that she chose to do this for us. A videographer was a must for us to document our 3/18/17, but we didn't want to spend a lot of money on it and we didn't have high expectations on the quality. I was impressed with Our Wedding Movie from the start. Great communication and wonderful reviews. They have a great selection of plans/prices to choose from as well. We went with the lowest tier and honestly could not be happier. Guy was very responsive to emails and helped put me at ease about this part of our wedding. Julian was our videographer and he was such a joy to work with. He was so kind, respectful, and happy. We were so excited to see our video and Guy was able to finish it for us more than a month earlier than promised! We were so happy with the video and how well put together it was. From Start to finish these men are so professional and so much fun to work with. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Guy. From the time we initiated contact, to the day of our wedding, Guy was incredible! He made the decision of choosing a videographer easy. He took the time to get to know us, and it truly made all the difference. When we received the video, we could not have been more happy! He captured every moment and detail from our wedding day. I was hesitant to get a videographer because I didn't want our wedding to feel like a production, but thankfully, Jimmy was so respectful and I hardly noticed he was there! Our Wedding Movie was fantastic. We weren't sure we were going to go with a videographer but my husband's brother and sister in law said it was the best decision that they made. When meeting with our photographer he suggested Our Wedding Movie to us and after checking out their samples we were convinced this was something we should do.Their package prices are very reasonable and they allow for flexibility and lots of add ons if you choose to do so. Our videographer was "T" and he was amazing to work with! He was so much fun and smiling the whole time. He was running around the entire time and getting all kinds of angles and his creativity paid off because our video turned out better than I could've hoped for. It was so nice to be able to see the day through another person's eyes and to be honest as the bride the day was a blur so having this to be able to look back on is priceless. I love how they did the highlight video as well. It's nice to have a quick look back at the day instead of watching the whole video.

Love being able to watch our wedding day over and over again
We used "Our Wedding Movie" for our videographer for our wedding. The finished product was beyond what we expected. We paid for the Gold package and were very satisfied with the end results. The person on location the day of our wedding was Christian and he was very friendly and easy to work with. The prices are very reasonable. The only reason I gave a 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because communication via email was not the greatest. Slow response time until the week before the wedding when we had a form to fill out for the videographer assistant to know where to go for the day and for the videographer, Guy, to know what music we wanted as background music. Phone calls are the best form of communication that I found. The DVD we received as the final product looked like a movie starring me and my husband. We are very happy with choosing Our Wedding Movie as the videographer for our special day.

Updated review: Updated review: I'm a little late on my reviews! My husband and I got married in April of 2017 and we still love our wedding movie. Vic was our videographer for our wedding and has such a fun personality. He worked so well with our photographer and captured all of our amazing moments. On the dance floor, I had no idea he was there, just breezing through all the guests (and the dance floor was BUSY!). He even shot some footage on our party bus due to the rain. He was amazing and we couldn't say enough things about him. I can't get enough of our shortened video, as well as the actual video. It's beautiful and exactly what we wanted!

Our videographer Julian was amazing !
Our videographer Julian was absolutely fantastic! He was extremely professional and had great attention to details. Our video turned out amazing and he captured every moment I hoped for and ones I didn’t even think of, but am so grateful that he did ! I would highly recommend Julian, he is absolutely fabulous! And our wedding video turned out absolutely perfect!

The videographer himself was great. He was very nice, adorably dressed and easy to work with. The initial process of hiring and organizing what we wanted for our wedding video was a quick, simple and clean process.
Adding a videographer was a last minute addition for us so we had to work within a small budget and time frame and this company could deliver that. The wait for our finished product was within the quoted time frame.
I was so excited to receive the email stating our DVD was on the way. They provided tracking and it arrived on time and in perfect condition. The DVD case design is amazing! So much fun and makes you feel as if it's a legit movie, complete with sweet pictures from our wedding.
The footage itself, on our movie, content-wise, was great! I will tell you this though, If you are looking for a 3-5 minute romantic (highly edited) highlight movie of your wedding, do not opt for the cheapest package.
We went for the cheapest one and though we have a lot of good footage it is not the Youtube style that many brides are hoping for.
I contacted the own after receiving the movie and did ask about the quality of the footage as it was grainy. He offered to send me the blue ray version which proved to be way higher quality and for that I am grateful.
Overall, I feel that this company was great to work with. I would recommend them moving forward and as long as you pay attention to package wording and allocate a bit more money, you will be satisfied with hiring Our Wedding Movie to supply videography for your special day.

I was looking for something that was good quality and affordable. Guy Batila was understanding and helpful in getting us the best quality and best price. He showed up to the wedding on time and was dressed appropriately. He was professional and discrete about getting the best shot for the moment. Our first impression was enjoyable. We haven't got out video yet but we are excited to see they end result.

The overall service and quality of the vendor was very well, but they lacked in communication at times.
Pros: The videographer showed up on time, was very professional, and did a great job filming our wedding! The videographer was very accommodating with our request and made a good point to find out exactly what we wanted done. The DVD was put together very nicely and we were very satisfied with the final product, especially for the price. We were very impressed with these aspects of the company.
Cons: Me and my wife were married on May 23rd, 2015 but we did not receive the rough draft of our DVD until early October 2015, and our final copy until late January 2016. There was an extreme lack of communication early on when trying to receive our product. It was told to us that this lack of communication, and unanswered calls, was due to the company moving. Regardless, it was difficult getting in touch with the company and we were not notified of this. This caused much frustration for me and my wife. Once we did finally get in touch with them however, they were apologetic and tried to keep a better line of communication thereafter.
Overall: I would recommend Our Wedding Movie to others, but I would be careful with them not keeping an open line of communication after your event. This would be my only complaint, for the final product was satisfactory to our liking, and they also included extra DVDs as compensation. However it just took forever for us to get our final product. If this was not the case, i would have nothing negative to say about the company. Hope this is not a problem for anyone else that chooses Our Wedding Movie.

Our Honest Experience
Our Wedding Movie, Inc. took some good footage and provided us with some wonderful captured memories of our wedding day. Our videographer assigned to us was very nice. The owner took the time, at our request, to add in a very special unpublished song to it for us from a local music artist, who we are grateful to have as a friend. On our wedding day they captured moments that we will treasure forever.
Some faults that we found was that the videographer did not move around much to capture the entire venue. A lot of the raw footage was dark and/or blurry. Also, not all of our guests and venue were shown in the edited version or raw footage. My suggestion to the company is to have the assigned videographer contact the couple before the event and before the editing to make sure they know what and who the couple wants shown. They did send out a questionnaire that asked some of that (which they did have on film) but it would help for the videographer to ask at the event (the event coordinator or even the maid of honor) who is most important to the couple to be shown. I say this because we are an older couple, with this being the first marriage for both of us, and it was special to us that the only remaining parent we have (my mother) attended our day. She was not even shown on the edited version. The videographer definitely did not move around much at all. For a bigger wedding and venue (we did ceremony and reception at the same location), definitely get the second videographer that they offer.
Overall, the price fit our budget. We did get a video with our special request song added, our ceremony, clear sound with vows, our first dance, and moments from our day. We received what we needed to get, but honestly had hoped for more. All we had requested was video of the venue, wedding, and reception (we did not use them for other location wedding hair, dress, prep, etc that they offered). We had hoped that a professional videographer and company would know what to capture in a better way, even with budget friendly pricing.
We'd like to note that Guy, the owner, was very helpful on calls and with troubles with the downloading process. And again, our videographer was very nice.
If you are thinking of purchasing with them, take a close look at the extras that they offer in addition to their original packages, and consider what your vision is for your final video. Also, make sure you communicate with them before, during, and after what you're looking for.

The video was great, once we finally received it. My lower rating is a result of the customer service. Initially we told that we would receive the final product 90 days after the wedding. After 4 months, we had not received the video nor had we heard from Guy. My husband and I both called, left voice mails, and emailed over the course of about 2 weeks and received absolutely no response. I began to worry that we may never get to see our wedding footage and that we had paid a vendor that would not deliver. I then called Guy from my work phone line instead of my personal cell phone and surprisingly he answered the call. I had to threaten legal action to get a draft of the video. A week after we reviewed the draft, my husband contacted Guy and requested a minor change. Guy told my husband we'd receive the final product in a week. Fast forward to February 2016 and we still had no finished product. My husband had to contact Guy once again and we FINALLY received the final video roughly 8 months after our wedding. I understand that sometimes these things can take longer than expected, but we should have been notified and I shouldn't have had to go out of my way to get a product that we paid for in full.

He made a great video it just took six months to get it. We also have not received the whole package we paid for. I would not recommend him because of this. Does not return phone calls or emails. We have received one video and this was the rough copy he said. Don't think we will see any more of the ones he promised. I had to make my own copies.

My husband and I just finished watching our video and I’m in tears, completely heartbroken. The video we received was so choppy and such poor quality. The sound was so muffled it could have been filmed on a phone. We paid extra for raw footage and they gave us the same film that was in our “movie”. We weren’t sure how they’d edit so we wanted to have the whole day just in case there was something significant to us that they saw as an outtake. There were so many moments they edited out that involved the groom and myself and our families and those moments are now lost. Do not use this company if you want a gorgeous video of your wedding.

When I was first in contact with Guy at Our Wedding Movie, he was very responsive and professional. His contracts were through a system that was very easy to use, and he was easy to get a hold of. We signed a contract with him for the Diamond package (his best).
During our wedding, we were really impressed to see that his assistant and him seemed to be everywhere without getting in the way, and we were really excited to see our video.
Unfortunately, we have yet to receive anything from Guy, except for excuses. My emails to him asking for an ETA on the video have gone unanswered, calls and voice mails have gone unanswered, and when we happen to catch him on the phone (when he answers), he lies to us. At first he gave us excuses about losing an editor, but that he'd have it to us "next week," 2 months later he told us that he put our video in the mail "that day." I would have been just fine if he told us the truth that he's behind on the work for our wedding. I'm a patient person and as long as I know that it's being worked on, I would have been okay with that response. Our last correspondence was weeks ago, and I have yet to receive a single thing from Our Wedding Movie.
It has been over 5 months since our wedding, and I cannot fully express my disappointment in Our Wedding Movie and of the fact that I still do not have video footage of our wedding. I am truly crushed.
As a side note, I see that another wedding that has reviewed Our Wedding Movie has received their video even though our wedding was 08/10/2014, and the other reviewer's wedding was on 08/29/2014. While I am happy for that reviewer, it is unacceptable that he has produced work for weddings that were after ours.
Once I receive something from Our Wedding Movie, I will be happy to update this review to include the quality of the work that they have produced. Unfortunately, I am not optimistic that we will get anything out of the $1,395 we paid.

I was hired by this company to perform wedding videography service, But did not get paid for the job. Business owner who hired me just stopped answering the phone, texts or e-mails. There are also numerous complains from the customers who are not happy with the level of service provided by the shooters the owner hires. it appears he is running some scam. Stay away from this company and do not work for them or with them.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS VENDOR. They are scammers! Specifically Guy Batila. I booked their services back in February 2022 for my wedding this Saturday November 12th. I paid my $200 deposit and signed the contract and did not hear from him until early September after sending close to 7 emails basically begging for a response. I should have let this vendor go then!!
Then comes the end of October and again, I’m chasing him down with multiple emails, my day of coordinator is calling and leaving voice mails still no response!! I
was literally chasing them down to pay the remaining money owed as it says in their janky contract that the total fee must be paid 7 days in advance of your event or they reserve the right to not show up. Well, how can I pay the invoice if nobody responds??????
I truly believe that Guy was going to ghost us on the day of our event. So today, 3 says before my wedding my fiancé and I had to find another videographer for our wedding on November 12th. Thank God we found an amazing professional to do it for us!! And that we didn’t go with this sorry excuse of a business! So thankful that we did not waste close to 1K and risk the chance of not even getting our wedding video back.
Again, DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

A video taken but not delivered is worthless
A videographer arrived and recorded the contracted portion of our wedding ceremony and reception. Not the most professional appearance but got the job done. That was where the positives stopped. The contract allows 90 days after the wedding for the video to be completed. We are now well over 100 days with no response to multiple emails and calls. Unfortunately we may end up with no wedding video and a trip to small claims court in an attempt to get our money back. Avoid at all costs.

Beware the good reviews
When I booked this vendor over a year ago, I thought it seemed like a great deal. I read lots of great reviews, saw some negatives, but I like to give the benefit of the doubt with that, and most of what I saw was positive. Fast forward to today, two weeks before my wedding, we notified 'Our Wedding Movie' in February that we had relocated our wedding to our back yard because COVID, and they responded back very quickly that we were good as it was still in their service area. That we WOULD receive a form 3 weeks before our wedding date to confirm venue, times, etc. 3 weeks before was last Saturday, nothing. Call, no answer, email, no reply. Multiple attempts at both, nothing, until yesterday when I called and left another VM telling them this felt very uncomfortable for me. I expressed my concerns at other reviews showing this to be a pattern of behavior from them. First thing next morning, I have the form in my inbox, no call back, no message apologizing, nothing; just a form in my inbox that I have no good feelings about.
'Our Wedding Movie' puts on a good front at first, but then when it comes down to the deadlines, they drop the ball. They leave you hanging. That is not an experience any Groom or Bride should have to have leading into their wedding day. Things can be stressful enough, why do they add to it?
I would not book this vendor again if I was asked, I am already looking at alternatives to replace them, because I don't trust them.

Still NO video 16 MONTHS Later
This company has clearly taken a negative turn since the good reviews here. If you would have asked me on my wedding day if I would recommend them then yes 100%. They were a little hard to reach at some points but i was never concerned.
However, 16 months after our wedding I would not recommend them at all. We ordered the video discs and I started reaching out 2 months after our wedding wanting an update. No response. I called/emailed monthly with no response. 16 MONTHS later I threatened legal action and they immediately sent me my wedding video. The disc arrived with only 5 minutes of audio!!! They didn't even check to see if the disc worked. I still have gotten no response from them at all! This is unbelievable. I tried to give them the benefit of doubt because of COVID but not anymore.

When doing your research on this merchant, dig deep! Don’t fall for the recent good reviews, look at ALL of the reviews on the next page. He will tell you everything you want to hear when initially signing up. He’ll tell you that he’ll provide the draft and everything within 90 days. Keep in mind, he tells you this verbally, but does not put it on paper. I didn’t see all the past reviews till I started having issues with this merchant. He does NOT answer phone calls or respond to emails. I had to file a chargeback in order to get his attention then he rushed the whole thing and sent it to me without even calling me or emailing me. This is your wedding, work with a reputable company and do deep research. You’ll see that others have had these same issues when looking at the reviews on Yelp, BBB, Wedding Wire, and Google. You don’t want to trust a merchant like this for such a special occasion. When he had sent the dvd/blue ray, the cases were all cracked and it was very unprofessional. Also one of the DVD’s does not work and skips. At this point, I haven't heard from the merchant.

We have yet to receive our video in raw or edited form. Our wedding was on September 1st 2013 and we have yet to receive anything as of March 22, 2017. The owner Guy Batila, stopped returning my wife's calls and now has stopped returning my calls. We paid for the service in full (our mistake).
I am posting this review in hopes that someone else does not get shafted with no video of their wedding day.

I am giving Guy from Our Wedding Movie 0 stars. He took our money and we have not heard from him regarding the video he recorded for our Sept 13th 2014 wedding. He said we would receive the film in a few months. December ended and he said we would see it in January. January has come and gone and he is now not even responding to calls and emails. I would not recommend this vendor to ANYONE. Customer service is beyond poor. I am so upset that I may never have the memories on film from our wedding. Had I known it would end like this, I would have gladly paid more money to someone else.
