  Both Andrew and his mother Wendy are most professional as well as personal. My wife and I are wedding photographers and have had the pleasure of working with the two of them many times and highly recommend them for their services and all around great nature that they bring to the special occasions. If you are looking for a Marriage Officiant and a great guitarist for your wedding, look no further than Our Simple Ceremony with Wendy and Andrew : )

  Wendy was perfect for "Our Simple Ceremony"! We just wanted quick, simple and private and she was very accommodating. She also suggested a pretty park with gorgeous oaks for us to exchange our vows under!

  Wendy has been amazing to work with!! She provided me with all the tools and information I needed which made the ceremony and rehearsal a breeze. She has been very responsive, professional, and always kind. She personalized our ceremony and made it everything I wanted it to be. Andrew played our ceremony songs so beautifully. I highly recommend her to anyone and would do it all over again with her as my officiant. Great job!

  We were extremely pleased to have Wendy officiate our ceremony. After spending weeks and countless hours dithering about minutiae in our reception we realized we had forgotten the most important part: an officiant! Even with our last minute request Wendy was wonderful about always communicating promptly, preparing a personal ceremony with tons of options to choose from, and patiently waiting as we worked things out prior to responding. The day of she met with both of us to go over everything, endured the usual small delays without complaint, gave us a nice keepsake of our ceremony, and got the official paperwork mailed off right away. I don't intend to have more than wedding ceremony in my life, but, if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to get Wendy to administer our vows.

  We chose Wendy to officiate our wedding ceremony after reading all of her fabulous reviews and she certainly lives up to them! She was prompt in answering all of my emails, was super organized, very detailed, and made sure you knew exactly what to expect. She made putting together our ceremony so easy and had a lot of suggestions for the different parts of the ceremony. You are free to pick from her suggestions, combine things, delete things, make it your own, whatever you want. She was so helpful at our rehearsal by making sure everyone knew what they were supposed to do and where they were supposed to be. We would have been a mess without her! She did an amazing job and our ceremony was perfect. Wendy truly cares about making sure your ceremony is perfect and that it is all about you! I can't say enough great things about her, we highly recommend Our Simple Ceremony!

  25th Anniversary Wedding Vow Renewal

  Our Wedding Officiant, Wendy Thurow was Professional and very sweet. Easy to work with and very receptive to what we envisioned. The communication with Wendy was great. We could not ask for a better day, she helped alot and was extremely patient. We highly recommend her.

  Wendy did our wedding ceremony yesterday. It was very small and private but she made it so special for us! She included our three quests in the ceremony and made it something we will never forget.   The briefest and least effort seemed enough when remarrying after being divorced for 46 years. Finding Our Simple Ceremony was such a blessing for us.   I found Our Simple Ceremony and Wendy Thurow by doing a Google search for wedding officiants, and am so glad that I did. Wendy was the officiated at Danny (my husband) and my wedding, which was at the Hilton Pimlico Room, the evening of February 11, 2011. Right from the start, Wendy showed she was an expert in her area and a professional, by recommending places to hold an outdoor ceremony. (Because of the weather and ceremony time, we changed the location to indoors!) After giving Wendy some background information about us, she composed a beautiful, personalized, meaningful ceremony, which she presented to us in a folder afterwards. All of my communication with Wendy was through e-mail; I didn't actually see her until I was walking up the aisle wondering who the pretty blonde woman was standing near my fiance! Everything about our ceremony was perfect--from Wendy's smiling face and pleasant-sounding voice as she performed the ceremony, to the exchanging of roses, the readings, and the exchange of rings. I could not have asked for anything more. Oh! And Wendy's son is a talented guitarist. His playing before, during the entrance of the bridal party, and after the ceremony added just the right touch. I highly recommend Wendy Thurow/Our Simple Ceremony to any engaged couple who want a truly special wedding ceremony at an affordable cost.

She provided an amazing package of ceremony details that we chose from, and helped us customize them to make them special for us. The day of the wedding, she was an awesome asset throughout the day, talking through exactly what we’ll need to do and how to have the ideal ceremony and photo opportunities. Our ceremony was phenomenal, and we could not have done it without her expertise, confidence and amazing personality. We are so happy we chose her, and would highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking to have an amazing, hassle-free wedding experience. She was truly the MVP of creating the romantic ceremony of our dreams, and we could not have asked for anyone more helpful and kind!
