We used Lucy's Porch and Bear Garden at Ouisie's Table for our wedding reception, and it was an excellent experience from booking to the wedding day. This restaurant is an excellent option for those who don't want to pay the exorbitant venue fees for a traditional wedding venue. We had about 60 guests and it was the perfect amount of space for everyone and in total cost us about $8k in total. The staff is incredibly professional and really know what they're doing, we had no issues on the day and they were quick and receptive to any requests we had. The food is also extremely tasty! Everyone raved about the sea bass and the mac. We had our wedding cake done through them, too, and it came out looking exactly like what I had asked for. They did amazing in creating my vision! I highly recommend them for any bride looking for a beautiful wedding ceremony and/or reception venue for their special day!

Ousie's Table was the perfect place for our daughter's wedding in October. It was a small wedding. The ceremony was on the patio with a lovely arch for the couple to stand in front. Alsey's Nest was the perfect room for the reception. The food and drinks were great. They even made the wedding cake and was so delicious. The staff, Francesca who answered all our questions and the wait staff who did an excellent job taking care of us.

Francesca is a very accommodating wedding planner. Always communicative if you have any questions for them before your event. Then, when we arrive at the venue on the day of, even the wait staff were very communicative to us during the event. And, very friendly wait staff!

Using Ouisie’s Table for our wedding was the best decision. We worked on wedding planning details with Adam and Eduardo, they made sure every aspect of the wedding was amazing! The food and wine was also top notch, not to mention, the service. We used the recommended florist for bouquets and she also did a wonderful job. Overall, we highly recommend the venue and their services.

This is long over due, but I just wanted to thank Ouisie's Table staff that assisted in helping my sister's bridal shower a memorable event for our guests and most importantly my sister! Everything was amazing!! The service was great, the food and cake were delicious and the flower arrangements came out beautiful! We received many compliments from our guests on how nice a shower it was. I have since returned to the restaurant for their delicious food and wonderful service!

Jordan Joplin directed us in the planning of our Rehearsal Dinner for our Son Dillon and his now wife Kathryn.

The Porch was decorated beautifully as per our request. The food and service could not have been any better. Several seasoned travel guest commented is was the best steak they had ever eaten.

I would recommend Ouisie's Table for most any occasion you might have.

Recently hosted my daughter's baby shower at Ouisie's - I can't say enough about what an exceptional job the entire staff did to make our event a tremendous success! From the initial planning to the day of....all of the details were taken care of and they completely exceeded all of our expectations! I would highly recommend this venue and talented staff to anyone who is planning a special event - they are fantastic!

We absolutely loved our wedding at Ouisie's's Table. :) It was elegant, delicious, and easy!!!!! Everyone has raved about the food, the service, and the decor! We had a 60 person wedding in Lucy's Porch and the garden. It was the most special, romantic wedding anyone had ever been to. :)

The decor was stunning, and we kept the flower and candle budget tight. Shundra was still able to work her magic! She had great ideas that we didn't think of. Like having a bright color (orange) to make all the pictures pop. Thank goodness she had this idea- the pictures of the ceremony are gorgeous with all the orange roses she incorporated!

The food was top notch. Multiple people have said the filet mignon was "the best they ever had"! The cake was gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. Get the carrot cake with cream cheese icing for your wedding cake! It looks pretty and it's delicious!

The passed apps were great, but small. We ran through them quickly. I would suggest ordering more than you think you need! We did an open bar, and the cocktails were delicious. We had any cocktail $12 or less available to guests.

The waitstaff was very attentive and professional! We always had what we needed! I was so pleased by the job they did! Jordan, the event planner, was wonderful! She is easy to get in touch with, and very calm and relaxed. I appreciated how she kept checking in with us throughout the evening to make sure things were going good. Even the hostesses got to know us (we stopped by the restaurant for many planning meetings) and they were so sweet to us! :)

I was concerned about the restaurant being busy on a Saturday night, but you would have never known our wedding was happening at the same time! I don't know how they do all that at the same time, but clearly they have it down to a science

If you want amazing southern hospitality, and a charming, intimate wedding to be proud of, you found it!!! They will treat you like royalty.

My 40th birthday celebration was held at Ouisie's Table and it did not disappoint! I knew the food would be delicious and the room would be elegant, but the service was beyond expectations! Hugo and Abraham were so friendly, gracious, attentive, and accommodating. All of our guests were served at the same time and everyone commented on how delicious the food was and how impressed with Ouisie's they were. It was perfect! The event coordinator, Jordan Joplin, made planning the celebration easy and seamless. I couldn't have asked for a better 40th birthday celebration!

We recently had our son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at Ouisie’s Table after it was highly recommended by some family friends. We were coming in from Dallas so all of our planning was basically handled by email or phone calls. We had visited once for dinner but had never attended a private event there. We could not have been happier with the results! Everything went exactly according to schedule. The food (from the passed appetizers through dessert) was delicious. The service was excellent throughout the entire event and all of the floral and candle arrangements were stunning!

We had guests from Dallas, Houston, Chicago, LA and San Francisco. EVERYONE commented about the meticulous service, the wonderful food and the beautiful décor in Lucy’s Porch. Of course, we were especially blessed with the weather so we were able to fully enjoy cocktails and appetizers outside in Bears’ Garden! I highly recommend Ouisie’s Table and Oui Florals for any private events!

I recently had my wedding at Ouises Table and I cannot say enough about how perfect everything went from start to finish. Jordan was so easy to work with and was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls. On the night of our wedding she checked on us several times making sure everything was going good. Shundra did an amazing job with the flowers and setup for the ceremony and reception. Her creativity blew me away and she was so fun to work with! The space was so beautiful and exactly what we had envisioned for our wedding day. The staff and service during the reception were outstanding. The food was delicious! We had so many guests comment on how great the food and service was. I would highly recommend having Ouises host your wedding or special event! They are professional and really help to make the day so special.

The bridal shower was beyond perfect. Jordan was so easy to work with. She pulled the whole thing together. Shundra did a magnificent job with the flowers. The waitstaff went above and beyond. I had a couple of people with special dietary needs and they were extremely accomodating. The manager on duty kept checking to see if we needed anything. I have gotten so much positive feedback from all my guests about the bridal shower. I was so pleased.

I hosted a dinner party for a friends birthday and the entire staff at the restaurant and the event planner, Jordan Joplin were fantastic to work with. The food was wonderful, the flowers were outstanding, the table was beautiful and the service was top notch. I thought the prices were reasonable as well for the quality of food and wine. I would work with them again for any occasion.

My daughter's bridal brunch was last Friday at your restaurant and I just want to say a HUGE thank you to all of you for surpassing our expectations. The service was A+, the floral arrangements were beautiful, and the food was excellent. Cooper's Bin was the perfect place for us and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you all so very much for making our event special!

We hosted a baby shower at Ouisies Table on Saturday. It was a great event! The food, waitstaff, flowers, menus and set-up was fabulous! Working with Jordan and Shundra for planning and flowers was great! I highly recommend using them for any event you may be hosting!

Ouisie's provided a beautiful private room decorated for the holidays to celebrate our out-of-town friends' recent marriage. The planning was easy, food delicious, service extraordinary, and as always, location and ambiance perfect. Our sincere thanks to Ouisie's for a special evening. I highly recommend this Houston institution for your next event! I know we'll be back!

This was a great venue for a bridal shower with a private room that was just the right size for 32 people. As someone who works full-time, the Ouisie's team made this a very easy event to plan. We picked the food and wine and they handled the menu cards, linens, and flowers and were highly responsive to all our questions and easily met our budget. The day of the event was perfect with great food and wonderful wait staff who helped get the gifts to the car.

Ouisie's staff makes this venue and no brainer. Great food, great service! Always a pleasure working with them!

Ouisie's Table made for an extraordinary wedding day for my daughter and new son in law. It was perfect in every way. Ouisie's staff pays close attention to the important details. It made for a beautiful wedding and wonderful day for all our family and friends. Thank you to all the staff at Ouisie's for going above and beyond.

You only get married once and choosing to spend the reception at Ouisie's was the right way to go!

Guests were raving about the food and the venue. It was elegant and easy throughout the entire process. The food was top notch and the service was right there along with it. We requested Butar as our waiter and he was amazing. He checked on my husband, dad and me the entire night and made sure we always had what we needed! YOU NEED HIM!!!

I haven't even begun about the flowers and decorations - Shundra did an amazing job making the room look lovely. She got us some BEAUTIFUL lavender and made my reception so unique and special for me. She made the entire process so easy and set-up the room just as I wanted it. She added so many special details for our event and even integrated my boutique into the reception which was very special!

Jordan our event coordinator did a fabulous job guiding my family and me through the process of getting everything decided. It was really great and you only pay for what you get past your minimum. Most places will charge you for the number you give them 10 days before. This venue is truly class act and they want you to enjoy your night with your guests...they aren't trying to make the most off of you. They are not your typical wedding venue...they are your special occasion safe haven!!!!

The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable at first was the temperature in the room...but that was because it was in July! It cooled down later in the night, but I would definitely check before hand to make sure they crank the thermostat down to get things colder before guests start arriving. Also, make sure your guests know if you're paying for their valet, it's the best way to guarantee that they don't try to pay for it.

This place is a 10 out of 10. I would recommend coming here to anyone looking to make their special day even more special. The food, the staff and the decorations will exceed expectations and you won't even believe it!!!!

I held a birthday party at Ouisie's and it was wonderful. It was a polished, classy event for an enjoyable occasion.

We hosted a reception at Ouisie's for a corporate event and everyone loved the ambiance and the food was the added perk. This was our first event here and we will definitely be back again. The service as always was impeccable. (dined there a few times prior) Please thank your wait staff also because they were exceptional! Even with last minute changes with some tables, the wait staff never hesitated to make it happen. Everyone did everything with a smile on their face. We had a lot of attendees that have never dined at Ouisie’s and they mentioned they would definitely love to come back and dine with you all.

We had our wedding at Ouisie's Table on April 9, 2016. I was incredibly happy with the way everything turned out and would highly recommend Ouisie's for a classy event with excellent food for a reasonable price in Houston. The event coordinator, Jordan, was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, practical, and helpful throughout the planning process. Being able to handle so much of the wedding planning process with one vendor and, even better, that we could take care of most of the details over email made it easy to do all of the necessary planning and communication while working full time during normal business hours. The venue was beautiful and the service and food were fantastic. Shundra did a great job of creating a beautiful design/floral concept within our budget. Ouisie's advises that the main dining room holds up to 120 guests with enough room for a dance floor. We weren’t sure of our guest count, so I was nervous about whether the main dining room would be enough space. We ultimately decided to expand our reservation to include Lucy's Porch, which includes Bear's Garden, too. We ended up with only 106 guests, so I went back and forth as to whether we should keep the additional space, since we didn't meet the food/beverage minimum and had to pay the additional room reservation fee. In the end, we kept the extra spaces and I am SO glad that we did. Everything worked out beautifully and I really think we needed all the space. The dance floor was in Lucy's Porch, which worked out great because people could hang out in the dining room and talk, dance in Lucy's Porch, or go outside on the patio and get some fresh air. If you have 100 guests or more, expect many people to dance, and can afford the additional room reservation fee, I would HIGHLY recommend reserving Lucy's Porch in addition to the main dining room. Overall, we had a wonderful wedding at Ouisie’s and would highly recommend this venue for a private event.

I had my bridal shower here & all I can say is amazing. The atmosphere, the food, the staff everything was amazing. Jordan was awesome in helping me capture the perfect "tea party" theme.

We had our daughter's wedding reception at Ouisie's table and could not be more pleased the way the whole occasion went. We had 125 guests for lunch in the main dining room. Jordan, the event planner, gave us great advise on beverages and menu. She was always very patient and kind to us and kept things flowing beautifully during the reception. We received so many compliments on the wait staff. They were so attentive to all our guests, from age 2 to 92! It was also impressive to see how they circle the table and lower all the plates simultaneously. The food was delicious, and the bridal cake and the groom's rice krispie treats were a hit. The floral designer, Shundra, was also very helpful in keeping the flowers within our budget and we left it all to her. She told us it would be dramatic and she was right!
One of our guests described the reception best. She stated it was elegant, yet cozy. What more could you ask for?

I couldn't have ask for a better place to have my friend's bridal shower. Everything was wonderful. I'm not much of an event planner, but, I didn't need to be. Jordan walked me through it all and the results were fabulous. The room was lovely, the food and wine were yummy and the staff took excellent care of us. I would use this venue again.

We spent the better part of two months researching venues for our son's rehearsal dinner. Not many places in Houston can easily handle 100 guests - including children. Ouisie's was the clear choice; pricing, atmosphere, customer service (my wife and I ate there four times to "test" the customer service and the menu) and other required amenities such as AV system with a large screen were deciding factors. Jordan patiently led us through the decision, planning and implementation processes effectively, resulting in a memorable event. We wholeheartedly recommend Ouisie's and Jordan Joplin to anyone hoping for a special venue for a special occasion.

We didn't want a big party so had our wedding reception at Ouisie's and I can't tell you how happy I am with how it turned out. Jordan is amazing, she listens to everything you need and is extremely patient with any last minute changes you might have. She made sure everything went as I wanted it that night. Shundra did a phenomenal job in doing the flowers and decorating the cake. Everything from the decoration, to the favors, food and the cake was perfect. I am so happy that I chose Ouisie's for our night and cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Jordan and Shundra for making my night so special :)

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Ouisie's. Our only glitch was the weather, but other than that everything was great. Jordan, the event coordinator was with us the entire time and made sure our day was as special as we wanted. The florist, Shundra, was amazing and the flowers and decorations were gorgeous! Our cake and the food tasted amazing and we heard nothing but compliments from our guests. I can't wait to celebrate there again. I definitely recommend this place. It was very charming.

We had our wedding at Ouisie's in October, and had the best possible experience. The absolute best thing for me about Ouisies is that they have an in house pastry chef who created a beautiful cake for us, and a stellar florist, Shundra, who focused on our preferences while keeping an eye on our budget. I loved that I could iron out so many details in one meeting and not have the stress of dealing with multiple vendors. Jordan, the wedding coordinator, was able to recommend an amazing musician who works with them frequently. He provided a lovely string duet and DJ services for a competitive price.

The restaurant itself is beautiful and the porch was a perfect place for our small (75 guests) ceremony. The food was delicious and the waitstaff was attentive, meeting every request with a smile and efficiency. Our guests have told us several times since our wedding how much they enjoyed themselves. We couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate!

I had a wedding in July at Ouisie's table. We held a brunch wedding, and I had the opportunity to work with their Event Coordinator, Jordan, and their Florist, Shundra. Both of them did an outstanding job, and we received so many compliments from all the guests. I planned the wedding mainly from out of town, and with just a few meetings and lots of emails, Jordan was able to capture what we were looking for and answer all of our questions. Shundra really helped me take my vision with the flowers and make it even more colorful and beautiful. Everyone was asking about our florist!

We were trying to stay on a budget for our wedding, and you never would have known it with the beauty of the flowers and the delicious meal. We served three courses, and each one was outstanding. Ouisie's did an incredible job with the wedding, and it was so much more beautiful that we could have imagined!

From start to finish, we had a great experience with Ouisie's! Our wedding was relatively small (85 guests), and the staff at Ouisie's did everything to make our event very special. Service was great! Guests all raved about the food. They allowed us to have five main courses from which to choose--so there was something for everyone, and we even had a kids menu if the kids preferred it. They gave us a general estimate of what it would cost well in advance, and we were actually amazed that the total came out to be almost exactly what they predicted, including flowers and candles. We did our own menus and placecards (and even entertainment bags for kids) and they set it all up exactly as we asked. When we walked into the room, it looked magical. David, their florist, was a dream to work with and we asked him to be creative and he was! We did a small wedding cake and a dessert bar and our guests raved about it again and again! Do that if you have the option! If you're not sentimental about a wedding cake, skip it and do the dessert bar. I seriously cannot say enough about it. There is only one thing I wished I had known in advance of the event, and I don't know how I could have, but maybe it will help you. We had the main dining room, and the guests at the table that was at the left rear of the room (across from the bar) ended up having trouble hearing because of the noise of the party in the adjacent room. This is not Ouisie's fault--nothing they can do--but I would have put young folks with better hearing back there, instead of the group that was there and couldn't hear. Overall, the thing we loved about Ouisie's is they make your special day much less complicated because they are a full service reception. The managers and I did all the planning through email, which I loved, and they were responsive and helpful. If I had a question, they were always happy to answer. I would recommend Ouisie's to anyone looking for a place to host a reception.

We loved having our reception at Ouisies and Katherine was so great to work with for our wedding! I would highly recommend Ouisies for an event!

Awesome venue! We had a noon ceremony in Bear's Garden followed by cocktails & fruit and then a reception in Lucy's Porch. The venue is beautiful and quaint, the food is really good, and the service is impeccable. The staff are accomodating, courteous, and very friendly. They were at our beck-and-call from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. They made us feel really special on such a glorious day. The coordinator, Lourdes is amazing. She's responsive, accomodating, and doesn't miss a detail. We were impressed with the venue, food, staff, and level of service. We highly recommend Ouisie's Table.

I planned my daughter's First Communion at Ouisie's Table and it was absolutely perfect! Shundra (the floral designer) was amazing to work with and Jordan (the event coordinator) was fantastic! The room turned out beautifully...they went above and beyond my expectations! I am extremely detail oriented and difficult to please so I was nervous but I was assured everything would be perfect and they did not disappoint! The service was outstanding and the food...delicious as always. We will be back!!

My ceremony and wedding reception was held at Ouisie's - I wanted an intimate venue for a 155-170 person wedding and they did not disappoint. The food (as always) was incredible and a huge hit - all of our guests complemented the food/beverages. We had an 8-person band play inside the main dining room with a dance floor and there was plenty of room for tables/dancing/serving to happen in one space. We also had tables on Lucy's Porch and the courtyard/garden reserved (where the ceremony was held) so our guests could freely walk in-and-out. Shundra, their on-site florist, is amazing and listened to and executed exactly what I had hoped for. They also made the wedding cake in-house, which was equally as amazing. Jordan, their on-site coordinator, was quick in responses, explained well and was very receptive to questions or changes I had. Their entire staff - Jordan, Shundra, managers, wait staff, bar staff, everyone -- were wonderful.

The only issue I had was that because we had the ceremony in the garden (which is tight) and the cocktail hour right after in the garden and on Lucy's Porch, the ceremony chairs needed to be picked up quickly, causing a little confusion on where the guests should go. Eventually everyone made their way back outside, it just seemed like a little bit of a cluster whilst moving the chairs.

We know Ouisie's Table well and they absolutely met our expectations for this event. The space was perfect for our needs and the room was invitingly elegant. The service staff struck exactly the right balance between attentiveness and making themselves inconspicuous during the toasts and other formalities. Even though it was a large party with multiple menu choices, the preparation and presentation of our meals was superb.

My daughter and I recently hosted a bridal shower at Ouisie's. It was an outstanding experience! The food, service, floral arrangements, etc were all done with the utmost professionalism. We could not have been happier and will definitely use Ouisie's again! Thanks for making the day special for the bride!

Jordan really help add personal touches. Flowers were beautiful, naked wedding cake with gnomes and rice crispy grooms cake with TAMU logs were wonderful. Wait staff was very helpful.

Ouisie's Table was the perfect venue for our intimate ceremony and reception. Jordan is their in-house event coordinator and she was phenomenal. We changed our plans many times, including doubling in size and changing rooms and plans entirely, and she handled everything graciously. Jordan was extremely responsive and easy to work with, answering all my emails quickly and with patience. When we arrived the day of our wedding, Jordan and the manager mobilized a huge team of people to help us set up and decorate with our personal decorations. Top to bottom, the event was perfect. The service during the night was impeccable! My guests never went without a drink and food was delivered quickly. I even noticed the kids were served faster than the adults and when they served food, they delivered it using multiple servers and placing the plates down all at the same time at each table. It was pretty cool! My guests loved the food and had only positive things to say and each server went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. Leading up to the event, I also spoke a few times with the florist and she was incredibly sweet and helpful as well! Jordan didn't seem very "warm and fuzzy" when we first met, which caused me a bit of hesitation when booking. I only bring this up to say, I really think it is an element of her being extremely busy and I am so glad we booked at Ouisie's Table. Don't hesitate, just book!

I had a Rehearsal Dinner at Ouisie's and the evening went very smoothly. The event planner, Jordan was very responsive to my needs & Shundra, the florist arranged gorgeous flowers exactly as requested. We were in the dining room with 112 people. The food was delicious and service was excellent. They had lots of friendly wait staff to attend to people. Horsd'oeuvres were yummy also. We received numerous compliments on the evening and were very pleased.

Jordan, the event coordinator , was on top of everything! She was spot on. Shundra, the floral manager did an excellent job with the floral arrangements and Guillermo was excellent the day of the shower with taking care of us. Everyone felt special and taken cared of.

Everyone involved made our wedding lunch-reception extremely "stress free"... from the transition of Katherine to Jordin, David who did fantastic with our flowers, the chefs and the waiters to the bakery chef creating our own unique cake...we were extremely pleased with everything .Thank you Ousie's Table for all of the coordinated efforts you provided to help us have our special day.

Food was fantastic, service was incredible and for a wedding reception it is quite reasonable. Katherine and David were very easy to work with and entire staff at Ouisie's was so eager to please.

Ouisie's Table was a great venue and I can't be happier with the choice. I had nothing but wonderful comments from all the guests. The planning process with Huda was extremely easy and she was very accomodating with my last minute changes. Ouisie's in-house florist, Shundra, did amazing work and everything looked beautiful. The food and cake were delicious and I recommend this venue to anyone that is looking for a hassle-free and elegant locale.

If you're looking for a quaint, romantic and elegant spot to have a small wedding ceremony - look no further! WE had a ceremony for 55 people in the garden and a seated dinner on Lucy's Porch. It could not have been more perfect. The service was top notch. The food was amazing. The night was just so perfect. Jordan and Shundra were lovely to work with. Jordan gave me total confidence in her abilities. I was most intimidated by selecting floral arrangement, but Shundra made beautiful choices for, what I thought, was an excellent value. Regarding flexibility, in an epic Bridal mishap, I planned my wedding for 7:00 but the invites said 6:00. Calling Jordan the day before the wedding in a literal panic, she assured me they'd be ready for our guests regardless of when they arrived. True professionals. Highly recommend.

I am so thrilled with the service I received from Ouisies Table and Jordan Joplin for our college reunion/professor's retirement dinner. Having had to plan everything via email from Jamaica W.I, I was a little nervous at the quality of service we would receive for our event. However, Jordan interpreted my wishes perfectly - our event was intimate, the food was excellent, and every request I had made was granted! Thank you Ouisies and Jordan for making our event extra special!!

We were very pleased with Ouisie's Table for hosting our wedding in the garden and our reception of 100 guests in the major dining room. Only complaint is that the wedding coordinator did not explain a few things to us and caused some issues. Once speaking with the manager, he resolved the issue and explained the policies in a helpful manner. He also had great customer service and apoligized for his employee. Other than this, the restaurant was great quality, beautiful atmosphere, and terrific Service! Wait staff was incredibly. What we spent in fabulous dining we would have only been purchasing cold hor dourves else where with other event places venue fees! We are so glad Ouisie's was our choice. Thanks Ouisie's! We will be back for our anniversary soon!

I used Ouisie's Table for my bridal luncheon. Great feel to the room and excellent food!

We were pleased with the luncheon that we hosted at Ouisie's Table honoring our daughter's Baptism. Our group was about 25 people and was completely stress free. Jordan was very responsive throughout the planning process and Shundra did a wonderful job with the flowers. I sent her a picture of the flower arrangements that what I wanted and she replicated it beautifully. We were especially pleased with our server, Cecilio, who did a great job keeping up with our group's requests and getting all of the gifts and flowers packed up in our car while we were concluding our event. The only reason that I did not give it five stars is because of the policy regarding wine, which seems a little inflexible for a group our size. For events, wine can only be purchased by the bottle rather than by the glass.

I was looking at keeping my budget pretty low and was able to have a very elegant Ceremony and Reception for under $10k. They allowed me and my sisters to hang out in one of the extra rooms and get ready before the ceremony. The florist they recommended really pulled it together with the amazing flower arrangements and all the guests loved the red velvet cake that Ouisie’s Table made from scratch. I brought my own topper and the florist added flowers to make the cake look awesome! They provided ample amount of servers for only 50 guests so no one had an empty glass. The finger sandwiches were a hit with my family. And everything else was a wonderful blur. Oh- and they allowed us to hire our own dj and photographer. Ouisie’s also made our guests’ custom sugar cookies with our initials on them and a thank you note. I loved the custom menus that they made with our food selections on them for guests. It was perfect! I just wish I could do it over and over again. It was magical!

Ouisie's Table provided a lovely setting for a surprise 50th birthday celebration luncheon. The space was the perfect size for 27 people, the food was delicious, the server professional yet very friendly and approachable. The flowers ordered were beautiful; just what i had described. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue.

I'm really glad I chose Ouisie's Table. I was a little concerned at first because they changed event coordinators in the middle of planning, but everything went over without a problem. The food we selected, Shrimp & Grits and Parmesan Crusted Chicken, was really, really good. I was sort of upset I didn't think to get some to-go. Jordan was really nice and took care of everything we needed the day of. All of the items you will need for your event can be coordinated through them. The only downside was we couldn't bring in our own cake. I would definitely recommend them to other couples for an all-in-one venue.

Ouisies was INCREDIBLE.
It turned out better than I could have expected - and even less expensive than I had planned.
The garden was a perfect venue for the cremony. There was another wedding going n at the same time, and you would have never known. Nothing conflicted with the seperate events. It was great. You do have to be a bit pushy to get answers when you want them.

First and for most We would like to Thank Ouisie's for the outstanding evening for our Daughter's wedding reception.
Jordan, did an outstanding job working with us listening to what we wanted and how we wanted the event to turn out. Shundra did an absolutely BEAUTIFUL job on all of the flowers. We had many compliments on the floral and the decor gorgeous!
Our guests were extremely complemintary of the food EXCELLENT. That is the number 1 reason we chose Ouisie's we knew the food would be something that would wow our guests!

I would like to point out something that was a negative regarding the reception.
The Bar Bill. We had discussed with Jordan we wanted to know when we reached the $6000.00 mark thinking it would be well into the evening or at least 1/2 way. We extended the limit twice and had to cut the open bar off by 8:45-9:00 . We had numerous guests tell as how the waitstaff was constantly pouring more wine into their half full glasses, and guests would decline, stating they were fine did not need more yet the waitstaff would continue to pour into their glasses. My family & close girlfriends remarked how they noticed waitstaff filling glasses with wine that were sitting on the tables inside and out and the glasses were unattended. This was a huge disappointment to me due to the fact this was something I had read on reviews about Ouisie's back when we were researching venues and I specifically asked Jordan about that concern.
The evening was beautiful and Katie & Matt had a wonderful evening celebrating their wedding with family and friends. They too were dismayed by the bar bill and frustrated by the actions of a few of the waitstaff feeling we were being taken advantage of during their celebration.
Finally I would like to say Ouisie's Table is an outstanding old Houston establishment and the food is amazing as well as the senior staff. Simply beware of the waitstaff over serving the alcohol to guests who politely tell them no thank you.

I held a wedding in May and the event as a whole was wonderful! The service throughout the evening was good and everyone agreed the food itself was phenomenal. The total price for around 80 guests (with an essentially open bar, three hors d'oeuvres and three menu options with salad) was pretty reasonable. I was working with a budget of 15K and if I had not gone over my dress, photos or entertainment, we could have stayed within that value. Jordan was the event planner and she was very helpful early in our reservation process, however there were some hiccups on the day of the wedding that I wish she would have been a little more upfront about/present for. 1 hour before the ceremony began, we discovered that table arrangement that was explicitly outlined in our Party Reservation Agreement was wrong and my mother and one of my bridesmaids spent 30 minutes frantically trying to get the arrangement correct, as it would have affected our seating chart. Jordan was not exactly upfront about the other events going on in coincidence with our ceremony either. We reserved Lucy's porch and the courtyard for the ceremony and reception, however there is another garden area behind the courtyard which can also be reserved. She failed to mention that a cocktail part (a rather rowdy one) had booked that area for the same time. Needless to say, we were not able to prepare for that, and attendees had a very difficult time hearing the actual ceremony because the gate was left open (we did not arrange for a microphone for our officiant). Other than those two setbacks, the wedding was lovely and the staff was professional (but I really can't emphasize enough, the disappointment I felt in regards to the noise going on during the ceremony - if you want to ensure this does not happen spend the money and book both areas). Ask about using the wine room before hand, it's awesome! Shundra did an excellent job with flowers and they were very reasonable (Ouisie's florist).

We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was wonderful.

I have mixed feelings about this venue. While the room and flowers exceeded my expectations and I was pleased with our reception here (Asley'sNest room), the process was extremely frustrating and worrisome. Coordinators were not the best. We did have a few billing mistakes and food preparation mistakes. Cake was slanted and the top tier was off center. I still like the unique and cozy setting, but I would look for another venue for future events.

The appetizers and cocktails were exceptionally good. The dinner service was a big disappointment. There was a 40 minute delay after cocktails before dinner. The veal was over cooked and the caper sauce was scant. The dinner wine was so bad I could not drink it. There was another very loud party in the room adjacent. The service was so slow. Then another long delay for champagne and toasts because they ran out of glasses due to the other party. The chocolate pot desserts were just pudding and miniscule--about 2 bites. The wait staff was professional and courteous but they were overwhelmed by the demands of an overbooked evening. The chef had to handle the hostessing due to the illness and absence of the coordinator. She tried, but she too was overwhelmed. The policy is that music and flowers must be arranged through the restaurant. The music was wonderful, but the florist coordinator was impossible. He is a waiter there who was difficult to contact. His knowledge of flowers consisted of photographs. I just brought my own candles since I was prohibited from bringing in flowers. I have enjoyed Ouisie's as a restaurant patron, but cannot recommend it for a party.

We had a small intimate wedding on a Saturday night, with the ceremony in the little garden and dinner in Alsey's nest. We had multiple meetings with the manager and Shundra the flower person and were assured that everything would run smoothly . About two weeks before the wedding we had a meeting with Lyssa, the event coordinator, who basically just took our dinner order. She was extremely disinterested to the point of being negative.
The day of the wedding was a disaster. There was apparently a wedding in that space before ours and our wedding was clearly thrown together at the last minute. The chairs in the garden were set up so that barely one person could get down the middle aisle, even though there was plenty of room on the outside aisles. No chance of father walking daughter down the aisle -- we have no pictures of that. Bride bouquet not ready 15 minutes before wedding. Music from restaurant not turned off during vows. Guests told to go inside after wedding to sign guest book, doors to Nest were locked so family member had to run around to front, go through Nest and unlock doors. The cake was lopsided, it was decorated with fresh flowers but looked like it was thrown together. Another one for the pictures. I showed a picture of the cake to a coworker and she literally gasped.
Dinner: food was good, service horrible. Guests with empty glasses (we had open bar and were very specific that we wanted our guests treated well). Multiple guests received wrong orders. Multiple family members went to find staff at different times to take orders. Cake was cut after dinner in the garden, lights were not turned on, family went in to find staff, lights finally turned on after cake-cutting. Service generally extremely inattentive. The flowers were beautiful.
The bride and groom were smiling, happy and gracious, so wedding was a success. No thanks to Ouisies.

Very terrible experience in planning and carrying plans. Jordan, the planner was quite rude- asked me if I was pregnant because we didn't want to change our date 2 months before the wedding because SHE double booked the week before after we had been planning there for 6 months. The general manager DID NOT CARE!! Watch out! We saw more terrible reviews and went with them any way, because it was cheap and beautiful. They forgot the white runner down the aisle, when my mom got to the venue to make sure it was set up, they thought it started 2 HOURS later, and they had rush to get it together. The servers were great, the florist was great, the cake was great. They got our food choices wrong, and I COULDN'T EAT AT MY OWN WEDDING because I am allergic to shellfish! Again, the manager DID NOT CARE! They were supposed to wait to serve champagne/mimosas until the toast, and had them sitting and ready for guests when the came in, it was different than we wanted and they served way more than we wanted, but it was necessary after the way they treated our guests. The bride before us was supposed to be gone an hour before our ceremony, but was not. Because she was still there, they did not let our guests inside!! Instead, they sent them around the back of the restaurant, past dumpsters from another business, into the courtyard where the ceremony was to be, to wait outside. After nearly all guests were seated, 10 minutes before the ceremony, the manager came out and had everyone stand and turn their chairs around, he decided to change direction of the ceremony without asking anyone because, again- other wedding! We had our wedding planned 4 months before this other wedding and we spent MUCH more money! I was never asked about this! I was IN TEARS on my big day simply because of this place! They charged me $9 for saltines because I thought I was going to vomit with everything they did wrong. So much more to say, but no space! DO NOT LET THE CONVENIENCE AND BEAUTIFUL VENUE FOOL YOU

Ouisie's Table ruined our wedding. I cannot express the anger and regret I feel about choosing them for our ceremony and reception. I will always look back on my wedding day with disgust.
The ceremony, the food, the cake. The event coordinator got EVERYTHING wrong and wasn't even there for our wedding.
The months we spent planning our dream day were useless. They changed event coordinators on us just weeks before the wedding and we had to go over everything with the new coordinator. Even after going over everything with 2 different people, our ceremony and reception were a complete disaster.
I would not recommend using Ouisie's Table at all.

I wanted to have our reception here. When we met with them, it seemed great. Unfortunately, they ghosted on us after I inquired about a desert that I would be able to eat with my dietary restrictions. They did not reply to my call or email, even just to say that they couldn’t do it (which I would have understood). It really set me back a step in my planning.
