We had our wedding at Osmica in September 2025 and wow, it was the best decision we've ever made. Planning a wedding can be a stressful experience, especially when you're doing it remotely from North Carolina. We knew we wanted a rustic but upscale barn wedding in our hometown and found Osmica through various online searches. The property? Absolutely breathtaking. The views? Stunning. But the best part of all was Allie and Kurt. They're superheroes. They truly took so much stress off of our shoulders and we couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

Allie was instrumental in executing our vision for the weekend from our first meeting 15 months before our wedding date. She guided us through the maze of vendors, rentals, flowers, potential layouts, etc. and helped us plan our weekend schedule with great care, flexibility, and attention to detail.

When it came to the wedding weekend, we hosted our rehearsal dinner and Friday evening welcome drinks at Osmica as well. Allie and Kurt provided set-up and clean-up for the dinner, creating a dreamy tablescape under the maple trees. The wedding day itself was smooth sailing and stress-free, thanks to Allie and Kurt's tireless preparation and hospitality. They communicated behind the scenes with every vendor to ensure a smooth run of show. This allowed us to be fully present on our wedding day. Allie also put together our bouquet and additional flowers on the pergola directly from the flower garden at the farm. Her creativity and artistry is seriously unmatched!!

Lastly, we have to shout out the farmhouse itself. Staying on-site with our family and friends was such a relaxing and a special bonus for the weekend. We especially loved the homemade, farm-fresh breakfasts we shared each morning. The rooms were clean, beautiful, and filled with thoughtful amenities. It provided the perfect, peaceful space for us to get ready together on the big day.

We celebrated our wedding at Osmica in June 2025, with about 50 guests in attendance. It took us only one video call with Allie, the owner, to fall in love with the venue. Allie was very professional from the start, really responsive and giving helpful suggestions, which made us feel very comfortable preparing our big day. We hired a number of vendors, some of whom had worked at Osmica before, others hadn't. Allie got in touch with all of them way ahead of our event to make sure everything would be in place for our wedding.
The setup on the day before the wedding went smoothly, and we got to start the wedding day with a lovely breakfast that had been prepared and set up by Allie in the early morning to accommodate our stylist's schedule. We enjoyed staying overnight and getting ready in the beautifully furnished (and very well equipped!) farm house.
Due to unstable weather, we decided, after careful consideration of the options worked out by Allie, that the ceremony would be held inside the barn. It did start downpouring during the ceremony, but this made the moment even more magical. The way the barn is set up made it very easy for guests to switch between outdoors and indoors during reception, and we were able to enjoy chats, games and cocktails both outside as well as inside the barn.
Our reception dinner (plated dinner service with desserts served buffet-style) took place in the hayloft, with toasts being given at the dining tables both before and after dinner. Everything went perfectly, and Allie was able to quietly set up the wedding cake downstairs while we were having dinner. After dinner and cake cutting our guests could enjoy different activities: dancing downstairs, having a cocktail, playing games... Osmica also provided plenty of beautiful spots for pictures throughout the day - and we were delighted to get to witness a beautiful sunset.
On Sunday morning, Allie served delicious breakfast with selfmade crêpes and jam which we were able to enjoy on the patio. After breakfast we collected our remaining belongings and decor items from the barn. Again Allie was very helpful, making sure the flowers which had been provided by the florist as well as any foods items remaining would be ready for us to take them with us.
We are very happy we chose Osmica for our wedding celebration and can only recommend this venue! Allie is so easy to work with and the setting is beautiful - we will cherish the memories for years to come.

Osmica is a dream! Allie and Kurt are gems and helped make our wedding so very special. From the beautiful property to the fun yard games, gorgeous renovated barn and hayloft to the lovely overnight we spent at the B&B, it was an occasion we'll never forget. The space is flexible to have a ceremony indoors or out, space for live music, ample dance floor real estate, and the loft can be set up in different configurations for whatever suits the event.

Allie used flowers from the property to adorn the tables while Kurt managed catering deliveries, and they were amazing with set-up, tear-down, welcoming guests, and so much more. Allie communicated with us clearly about making sure we had the proper paperwork filed for having beer and wine on-site, and details for making things run smoothly on the day-of.

We booked a night at the B&B which was so fabulous - they've renovated the farm house with such charm and character, many things being up-cycled - and breakfast we had the next morning (with ingredients from the farm!) was scrumptious. We highly recommend Osmica for your wedding, or any special event!

Throughout the planning process, Allie was incredibly communicative, organized, and attentive to our vision. She is extremely creative and helped us to bring all of our ideas to life! Allie also has many relationships and experience with local vendors, and was able to make recommendations and introductions to folks. Allie also helpfully reminded us about key tasks over time to keep us on track, which we greatly appreciated!
The venue itself is incredibly beautiful – there are walking paths through wildflowers, an impressive garden that supplied our floral arrangements and a lovely breakfast on our wedding day (both of which Allie and Kurt made for us), a beautiful farmhouse where we stayed the nights before and after and got ready in (which made logistics much easier), and scenic views. We couldn’t have asked for more. We’re even grateful to have been rained out of the outdoor ceremony that we planned – the hayloft is gorgeous and made for a dramatic backdrop.
We would get married at Osmica and hire Allie again in a heartbeat. We can’t wait to visit in the years to come :)

We held our wedding here at the end of September 2023 - it was a fantastic venue with a beautiful, rustic setup with useful, modern touches!

First, I need to start with the proprietors - Allie and Kurt. Our process began more than a year before the big day - we were able to communicate remotely and even got a video FaceTime tour before even visiting the property which was super helpful as we narrowed down venues. Leading up to the day, Allie was always super communicative and open and that made us feel at ease as we tried to plan from afar. On the big day, Allie and Kurt made sure everything ran smoothly in the background and everything went off without a hitch.

Second, the cottage - part of the wedding package is a 2 night stay in the cottage and my only small critique is that I wish we had been able to spend MORE time there. The grounds were lovely, and Allie and Kurt have done a ton of work updating what clearly is an older house into a modern bed-and-breakfast stay. It was a very comfortable couple of nights and we were greeted with a farm-fresh breakfast every morning, utilizing a ton of the produce from the grounds itself.

Third, the barn - we had been targeting a "barn/farm" wedding experience and Osmica did not disappoint. One of the biggest factors for us were the modern bathrooms that meant we did not have to rent porta-potties. Other than that, the space is very well-appointed with a separate bar area, separate dance floor, and loft that we utilized to be a little refuge when people just wanted a quiet moment to themselves. Allie again came through with multiple floorplans that we could have picked from and made sure we were able to accommodate our different vendors in comfortable spaces.

Last but not least - the grounds. I did not explore as much as I wanted to due to the last minute planning and running around but all of our guests had a lovely time.

Our experience with Osmica, Allie, and Kurt was phenomenal. I am certainly no professional wedding planner but Allie and Kurt made our day go by without any major hitches and their friendliness to not only us but our guests was especially appreciated. I am certainly not hoping to have another wedding any time (ever) but I do hope to go back to visit one day! I am sure Allie and Kurt will continue to build out and update Osmica so it is an even better venue than it was in 2023.

We hosted our wedding at Osmica, and we could not be happier with our choice. Allie and Kurt went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make sure our weekend was exactly what we were envisioning. The farm-fresh breakfasts each morning of our stay were absolutely incredible, as well as the pastries that Allie made for us. They were wonderfully helpful in making sure we had everything we needed on the day of our wedding and helping to make sure all the extras we wanted were arranged and taken care of.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. You can see the love and care Allie and Kurt have poured into the farmhouse and the barn to turn it into the most magical setting. It is the perfect farmhouse chic setting. And since it is a working farm, there are gorgeous flowers and scenery around every corner. We can't recommend Osmica at Spring Trail Farm enough!!

Osmica at Spring Trail Farm was an absolutely perfect venue for our 80-person high-summer wildflower-themed wedding! We had our ceremony on the lawn and a catered reception in the barn. The huge barn and charming farmhouse are immaculately restored, and there are seriously amazing photo opportunities everywhere you look. The whole place oozes rustic charm!

The owners of Osmica, Allie and Kurt, were a real pleasure to work with. They were so personable and went above and beyond to help us with our plans and make sure the venue was in ship-shape for our events. They were happy to help hammer out all the details (including multiple site visits) and very helpful with ideas about how best to use their space. They were super supportive in helping our team of friends and family decorate and prepare while seamlessly directing our various vendors to the right places. They even hastily wiped off all the tables in the barn when our Friday rehearsal dinner under the maples was suddenly threatened by a huge thunderstorm. But even the storm was magical at Osmica and was followed by a double rainbow! Our late-July wedding weekend was hot, but Osmica is high on a hillside and seemed to always have a breeze, and the barn remained pleasantly cool the whole time. Allie and Kurt made sure it was incredibly clean.

We stayed in the Osmica farmhouse for two nights with two other couples who had infants, and we found it so relaxing and easy to just wake up at Osmica, have a tasty homemade farm-fresh breakfast, sit in the hammock, and then get married! It was a wonderful home for the weekend, and we got so much more than just a wedding venue. Allie and Kurt have created something wonderful, and we feel so lucky to have had our special wedding weekend at Osmica!

We highly recommend Osmica at Spring Trail Farm and are very glad that we had our wedding there! We were married in September 2020. Our wedding was small (12 guests), due to pandemic restrictions. One of the things we liked best about Spring Trail Farm was that we were able to arrive early and spend the day onsite getting ready. This allowed us to feel relaxed rather than rushed. We took time to walk around outdoors and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Kurt and Allie were incredibly gracious, hospitable, and helpful hosts. They worked with us to set up the ceremony the way that we wanted it, and they were onsite to help during the wedding. The morning after the wedding, they prepared a delicious breakfast for us and our immediate families with locally sourced ingredients. Overall, Spring Trail Farm far exceeded our expectations for a wedding venue; in fact, we recently spent a night at the bed and breakfast there to celebrate our one-year anniversary!

I cannot find the words to describe how pleasant my experience at Osmica was! I was married there on 10/2/21. Kurt and Allie could not have been more accommodating, but even further, they exuded an energy of genuine care about me, my husband, and the other house guests.

The rooms are carefully curated to preserve the original history of the house (which had been built in 1794). Allie and Kurts impeccable blend of modern and vintage decor shone through the house. Everything was neat, each room had temperature control and en-suite bathroom which was a huge plus!

As far as my wedding goes, they were ever present but maintained the perfect distance. If we needed any assistance Allie was there to help but if we were sharing a moment with family we had the perfect space. We do not live in the area so they facilitated all the deliveries of rentals which was so helpful, truly above and beyond!

Kurt and Allie run a fully sustainable farm so the food we were served was grown all or mostly on premises. I’m talking fresh watermelon, cantaloupe, edible flowers as garnishes, you name it. They were even kind enough to send us home with some fresh seasonal produce.

I cannot say how happy I am with Kurt, Allie and the beauty of their home, farm and hospitality. I would absolutely recommend this venue!

Our wedding weekend at Osmica was so incredibly special and everything exceeded our expectations. Although we planned the wedding from afar, we worked on logistics with Allie over the phone. We stayed in the farm house for two nights with our parents in their three beautifully decorated rooms - modern but with original farmhouse accents. Allie and Kurt made us delicious breakfast both mornings using fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden. On the day of the wedding, Allie used a mix of wedding decorations they had (a pergola, table centerpieces, lights..) and flowers we bought to create such a picturesque backdrop for our ceremony and dinner. She consulted me at every step to ensure I liked the design. The hair and makeup vendors came to the venue and we got ready in one of the rooms. All the vendors raved about the venue and wondered why they hadn't been booked there before. Allie and Kurt even planted a cherry tree on their property for us to commemorate our wedding. Allie and Kurt were timely, professional, communicative, respectful, and flexible when our schedule shifted. We would recommend this venue to anyone!

From the initial tour of Osmica, the venue seemed to be the perfect place to have our wedding and after being graciously welcomed by owners Allie and Kurt, we were sold.

For our wedding day we imagined a place where our friends and family could celebrate, hopefully outdoors, where we could all relax and enjoy being together. At one time during the planning process Allie and Kurt had said they wanted Osmica to feel like our home for the weekend, and it did just that.

The vast and picturesque farm had multiple options for the ceremony/ reception and Allie and Kurt helped us to determine what would work best for our group. The beautifully restored B&B with farmhouse breakfast was loved by our small group of guests who stayed for the weekend. The barn wasn't quite finished at the time of our celebration, but Kurt and Allie made sure to show us the pink and red summer sunset visible from inside, making for great pictures. Our wedding tables were decorated with flowers straight from the garden, mulberries from a bush in full bloom were added to baked goods shared with our guests, and an expertly refurbished table was brought out to be used for our wedding desserts. These are just a few of the ways in which Allie and Kurt helped to make the weekend extra special. Sitting around the campfire after our reception, all our guests were already hoping for a reunion at Osmica for next year. The event was loved by all! Prior to leaving on Sunday Allie took us through the vegetable garden and put together an Osmica care package of ample vegetables that were in season. The weekend was truly memorable and we can't thank Osmica enough!

Throughout the process Allie and Kurt easy to work with, responsive to questions, gave great suggestions on how to make the most of the space, helped in planning and overall, helped to make us both feel more relaxed for the actual wedding day. My now husband and I can't wait to come back just the two of us for another Osmica B&B stay!

Other helpful notes:
-Our guests who did not stay at the B&B were either local or easily found an Airbnb.
-I was able to get my wedding bouquet from the Ithaca Farmers Market that morning, which came out beautiful.
-The Farmers Market was a close and fun activity for guests looking for something to do prior to the ceremony.
-Local trails/paths were easily accessible for those wanting to get in some exercise throughout the weekend.
-Osmica easily worked with our other vendors.
-We had a pizza party for our rehearsal dinner on Friday night and Kurt & Allie gave suggestions for local places, which turned out great.
