November 15th 2025 Wedding

Organic String Quartet made our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour absolutely unforgettable; we still get chills thinking about it! Hiring them was one of the easiest and best decisions we made for the entire day.

They arrived early, took the time to rehearse with our church organist, and were incredibly warm and professional from the first email to the last note. We asked them to learn “Cornfield Chase” from Interstellar by Hans Zimmer (something completely new to their repertoire), and they performed it with such emotion and precision that it felt like the soundtrack was written just for us. Walking down the aisle to that piece, played live by these amazing musicians, is a memory we’ll treasure forever.
A funny little behind-the-scenes moment: while the groom and groomsmen were getting ready in the back room, someone’s phone alarm started going off like crazy. The quartet (who could clearly hear it through the walls) immediately started playing the softest, most beautiful filler music to mask the sound so it never reached the guests or disrupted the ceremony. We didn’t even know it happened until later; that kind of awareness and quick thinking speaks volumes about how much they care.

Alicia was an absolute dream to work with; responsive, patient, organized, and genuinely excited for us. She guided us through song selections and made the whole process stress-free.

If you want live music that will elevate your wedding to another level and musicians who go above and beyond in every way, look no further than Organic String Quartet. We feel so lucky we found them. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Delightful performance

Organic String Quartet played at our wedding during the ceremony and the cocktail hour and it was a beautiful performance. In particular, my wife is a huge Depeche Mode fan and they played multiple Depeche Mode songs during the cocktail and our guests loved it.

Organic String Trio was absolute perfection!

I am so happy with Organic String Trio. We hired them for the ceremony and cocktail hour. They learned the music to accompany our vocalist, as well as our special request for the bridal entrance music. And they absolutely nailed it! The timing of the brides entrance was tricky, and it was spot on.

These are very professional, easy to work with musicians. I so appreciate how great they were to work with, both before the event and during. The music was just perfect and beautiful. I couldn't recommend them more. Thank you!!

Beautiful touch to the ceremony that elevated how we were feeling!

Working with Alicia and her team was a pleasurable experience. The process was simple and communication throughout was clear. We were impressed by the extensive song list to choose from. Having Organic String play at our wedding was a transcending experience. Hearing our songs play during the processional really added to the specialness of the day. It was difficult holding back tears when the song of the bride started to play. The string quartet played beautifully. We reached out to QSQ because of their rendition of “Stay by Me” and really wanted to have them play it during the unity segment of the ceremony. We had a concern, about the music playing over the Officiant but Alicia was able to assuage our concerns and lay out options. In the end, we trusted her judgement on how to proceed. The result was a beautiful touch to the ceremony that elevated how we were feeling. Our guests raved about the quartet and how it added a perfect touch. We are thankful to QSQ and would highly recommend them for your next special event!

Amazing service!

Alicia and The Organic String Quartet are so amazing- from the beginning in the booking process to the wedding day performance- so hands on, accommodating, organized! They did both modern takes on songs like Bridgerton (the TV show). It turned out way cool!!

Amazing! Made our wedding so special

Alicia was a dream to communicate with and WOW the quartet at our wedding totally set the mood for an amazing party. This is a MUST have for any wedding! They played all our favorite songs via amazing covers, and for a small free (about $100) they found the music for a learned This Must Be The Place by the Talking Heads for me to walk down to aisle to with my dad. A MUST-HIRE for your Wedding! 4 thumbs up from the Couple!

First and foremost, a big THANK YOU to Alicia for being a part of our crazy wedding journey since 2019 and for being super understanding and accommodating to our new date after postponing in 2020.

Leading up to our big day, Alicia was responsive, prompt, and professional. We're so happy that we had Organic String Quartet playing at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at the Vibiana in Downtown Los Angeles. They sincerely made the mood and atmosphere all the more heartwarming and special for our guests.

They played all the songs that we wanted for our ceremony, and were absolutely incredible! Our guests made the comment that they were one of the BEST string quartets they've heard live at a wedding. I wish that my husband and I had more time to enjoy their music, but we were running around doing photos and preparing for our reception.

Guests RAVED about this String Trio!

We worked with Alicia for the past 2 years as we postponed our wedding since May 2019 and finally tied the knot in Oct 2021. All of our guests are RAVING about our ceremony and the music the String Trio we hired booking with Alicia. We picked a number of songs as our guests arrived, a few other songs for our processional, a candle remembrance song & recessional. They had quite a list of song selections to choose from and if they don't have something specific on their list, you have the option to have them learn it for an additional fee. We thought about it but decided to use the songs they already had in their library. Alicia was very responsive, professional and accommodating as we moved our date a few times. I would highly recommend booking and they have a few options to choose from depending on how many musicians you want at your event.

OSQ is SO amazing!!

We had Organic String Quartet play during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and I am SO GLAD WE CHOSE OSQ!! They are amazing!!
Alicia (owner) is so sweet and responsive. The entire booking process and preparation for my wedding day was so easy. They have a HUGE list of songs that they can play and you are also able to request any song you'd like!!
We had a mix of classic songs for before the ceremony, then our ceremony included songs like Sweet Child Of Mine and Perfect (Ed Sheeran). Then during cocktail hour we moved to newer or more upbeat songs.
The string quartet was a hit amongst our guests. They are so talented and really made our ceremony and cocktail hour special with the live music experience. I would HIGHLY recommend them!!

Excellent! We highly recommend the Organic String Quartet!

The Organic String Quartet were absolutely wonderful! Their beautiful music added that magical and romantic touch to our wedding ceremony. We rescheduled our wedding date twice due to the pandemic, and we very much appreciate the flexibility offered to us. My daughters wedding

We hired the Organic String Quartet for our daughters wedding in Malibu. They played pre-ceremony and during the cocktail hour. We had so many complements on what a special touch of elegance they added as well sounded great.

Great experience!

They were so lovely! I'll be honest, I saw them once during my wedding and I only really heard them during my walk down the aisle, but our guests told me they were awesome! We hired them for pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour music and our guests raved about them! I got "Did you know your string quartet played Drake?!" more than once lol. Working with Alicia was effortless and they were very professional, my walk down the aisle was perfect, and I have no complaints. They were affordable and flexible and consummate professionals.

Great string quartet

Alicia was so wonderful to coordinate with and the booking process was super easy. The group came recommended by our planner and they delivered! List of songs the quartet could play was extensive, and the one song we wanted them to learn they accommodated for a small fee. The group looked professional and fit in perfectly to our beautiful outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour.

Alicia and her team were fantastic and very easy to work with. The best part of working with them is that they have nearly all of their songs on their website so that you can sample the songs and see which songs you want to include.

They stuck to the songs that we wanted, and they played beautifully! I have been to several events with quartets, and they were one of the best if not the BEST group I have ever heard! They were the BEST that I have ever heard at a wedding. I wish that we spent more time up on the roof enjoying their music, but we were running around doing photos and other things around the venue for the ceremony.

They also worked with me on timing so that they had adequate shade if umbrellas or portable cover is not available. We looked at a shade study to confirm that they would have the right amount of shade from an adjacent building structure.

Alicia and her team were so easy and wonderful to work with during the wedding planning process! The musicians played beautifully during our wedding ceremony, were very accommodating about learning new songs at a nominal price and I was so impressed with how quickly Alicia always responded to emails and questions. We hired Organic String Quartet to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were phenomenal! We worked with Alicia, the owner, on booking them for our wedding and she was very helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. During the ceremony we stuck with traditional songs such as Trumpet Voluntary, Canon in D, and the Wedding March. For the cocktail hour we went more modern with selections from Game of Thrones, Jurassic Park, Muse, Beyonce, Adele. etc. Unfortunately, due to Santa Monica's noise restrictions we had to move the music inside for cocktail hour and most of our guests wanted to remain outside which is such a shame because they sounded absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend OSQ highly enough! From our first interactions to the day of the wedding, they were professional, timely, and a pleasure to work with. Their repertoire is extensive and includes a wide range of genres and styles, and they are also willing to learn new music. OSQ went above and beyond, and even agreed to work with one of my family members for a joint performance that was a highlight of the ceremony. Our guests have not stopped raving about how beautiful the ceremony music was, how fun the cocktail hour selections were, and how wonderful the musicians were.

Each of the musicians was a true professional and really made the day extra special and memorable. We've also recieved countless compliments since. The Organic String Quartet was fantastic! They were punctual, professional, and very talented. We had so many of our wedding guests say how much they loved the music. There is a wide variety of music to choose from and the quartet was very accommodating. I must say, one of my personal favorite highlights was coming out with my groomsmen to the Star Wars theme. They really helped make our wedding truly special and memorable. Thank you, Organic String Quartet!

I can't say enough great things about Organic String Quartet! After hearing them play at my company Google holiday party up in LA, I knew I had to have them play at my wedding in Orange County. (Google only hires the best for corporate events so I knew they were vetted, I just needed to make sure they were good to work with and within my budget). Alicia was a *pleasure* to work with - friendly, professional, and responsive. Their pricing was the LOWEST out of the 5 quartets that I received quotes from, which was a huge relief because they happened to be my preference from the beginning. And most importantly, my guests LOVED the music during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Organic's repertoire is very extensive so they were able to fill our cocktail hour with lots of modern top-40 type of music played on the strings (this made the music a huge hit with both the older guests and the younger guests). Look no further - hire Organic for your next event!!

We hired the string trio for our wedding ceremony. Alicia was prompt with email and polite. We weren't sure exactly what music we wanted, but they took our vague instructions and delivered an outstanding performance. Our guests commented on how lovely it was. They were on time and looked great. If we get married a second time, we will definitely hire them again!

Alicia and the Organic String Quartet performed at our wedding ceremony a couple weeks ago. Alicia was professional, patient and made planning our ceremony music so easy. She even arranged a string version of a traditional Persian wedding song. Whether performing classical music, modern pop, or traditional Jewish and Persian wedding songs, the Organic String Quartet performed beautifully and added so much to our special day. Organic String Quartet played for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and we could not have asked for a better group!! The owner, Alicia, was quick to respond and very professional. She remained responsive and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. I was impressed with their samples online and their vast library. They went above and beyond to make our day special, learning a special request that I wanted to walk down the aisle to. Our friend did an arrangement of "The Gambler" by Fun. and they played it beautifully! They had a helpful worksheet to select music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests really enjoyed the music - would 100% recommend! We loved them.

What a fabulous string group! They were super responsive, their prices are very fair, and they have an amazing portfolio of music they can play! I wanted them to play all contemporary music that my guests would recognized, and they knocked it out of the park! They also played the classic Canon in D for my processional and it was very emotional and beautiful.

Organic String Quartet was out of this world PHENOMENAL!

When I was creating my perfect wedding, I had already decided what I wanted to walk to: A live version of Priscilla Ahn's "Dream" with a lead singer. So finding a creative, talented and qualified string quartet to meet my needs was a bit of a challenge, but I found it in OSQ!

We met with Alicia a year and a half before our wedding and she was very sweet, receptive and answered all of our questions. She also informed us that she was the singer in the group. After hearing their samples online, I was confident in their ability to perform at our wedding and we signed a contract with them

As the days lead up to our wedding day, we were having issues with our location in regards to amplification and electrical needs. I was so stressed with everything and didn't know what was required (as there were so many moving parts and vendors to work with for this ONE thing). Alicia was the nicest vendor during this whole, confusing process. She managed to coordinate everything with the vendors and got down to the matter.

In the end, this group was on time, set everything up and were amazing! We requested that upon arrival, our guests heard jazz and cocktail hour stuck to pop hits. Everyone was in awe of their talent and the overall vibe they gave our wedding. Having a string quartet greet our guests at our outdoor, vineyard wedding really made this event more classy and impressive. If you have the money (compared to other quartets, they are not as expensive!) and want a sophisticated vibe at your wedding, it is worth the investment!

Organic String Quartet (OSQ) was a big part of our wedding reception's entertainment. It was such a treat to hear our favorite songs played by strings at our wedding. It was definitely a nice touch to our special day and something very unique! They have a large playlist and are very accommodating with the music selection. They were even gracious enough to arrange for two new songs of our choice! OSQ was punctual, dressed well, and very easy to work with at our wedding. Highly recommend using them as primary entertainment over traditional background DJ music.

The best decision ever! My husband and I were going back and forth on hiring a string quartet, but I finally won that battle (happy wife... happy life!). We hired Organic String Quartet for our wedding and it was just beautiful. Till this day, our guests rave about how romantic and very classy the quartet made the entire day feel. They were so professional, answered all of our questions prior to the day of, worked well with our coordinator (she was the one who recommended them to us), dressed very professional and were open to any special requests.

The Quartet played for my daughters wedding held outside. It was wonderful to have live music for the service, really helped everything to flow well. Guests came up to me during the cocktail hour to tell me how impressive the music was and how nice it was to have them for the cocktail hour, as well. Really made it classy and yet the music was a nice mix.

Organic String Quartet played my wedding ceremony on the beach. Thankfully, I was able to have my videographer record some music prior to me walking down the aisle, because they were quite good, and my guests thoroughly enjoyed them. My husband and I, however, were only able to hear a couple of songs, but what we did manage to hear was excellent. They were very professional, prompt, reliable, and in excellent communication prior to our event. My only regret was not being able to hear more of them! Perhaps I will have a dinner party in the future, where I may use their services again. I highly recommend their talents and service to anyone.

The Organic string quartet was the very best part of my wedding, from beginning to end. The musicians were simply lovely! Well dressed, good looking, and surprisingly cool arrangements of their song list. They will even create an arrangement of your favorite song(s). My friends all mentioned how great they were and how elegant my very small wedding was - definitely due largely to them.
Read Miss Manners book on weddings, don't waist your money on unnecessary gifts and centerpieces, and then spend it on this group!
This is the one vendor you needn't have a single worry about. If anything, they will rise above your expectations.

Organic String Quartet did a fantastic job at our wedding. They were recommended to us by our wedding coordinator and from our initial correspondence, OSQ was extremely accommodating and professional. Offering a variety of selections, we were able to pick both modern and classical pieces to be played during our ceremony and cocktail hour. OSQ played beautifully and their music added such a special element to our big day!

OSQ was such a great addition to the wedding!!! Everyone complimented on having the quartet over a DJ. My now husband was the one who wanted a quartet at the wedding, and I'm so glad I didn't fight him for a DJ! Alicia was wonderful to work with, they only had a few requests which were fine, but other than that, they did a wonderful job. They played for 5 hours!!! They played classical songs to pop songs and also took special requests for the different parts of the reception (entrance, father-daughter dance, first dance, etc.). I would highly recommend checking them out on youtube or elsewhere. I highly recommend a string quartet for your wedding too :).

I used Organic String Quartet for a play that my partners and I wrote and they performed at the staged reading and were truly exquisite. It was so magical that I thought I wish I could have these guys in my home, how romantic! My Anniversary was approaching and I wanted to do something different and magical that would be memorable. It was the best idea ever and my favorite moment in my relationship so far. The look on my girlfriends face was priceless and the music carried us away and enhanced the entire evening.
I only wish I had them longer....can't wait to have them again for any occasion. It elevates the mood and spirit to a level of delight, which can only be found by having the real thing, live, strings gliding and vibrating right in front of you, piercing your soul. You cannot get this sound from an ipod no matter how good your speakers are. I love the Organic String Quartet and highly recommend them to add DELICIOUSNESS to your event.

Absolutely loved having OSQ at my wedding during my cocktail hour. I got so many compliments from my guests and even wanted their contact information for their out future events. Their repertoire is versatile and i had many songs to choose from prior to my wedding. I loved them...and will def. use them again.

My (now) husband hired Organic String Quartet for his proposal to me. They were flexible, open, and truly made it beautiful. And the music was amazing! We liked them so much, that we hired them to play at our reception.

They were professional, courteous, and the music was lovely. They played every piece we requested. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

This string quartet did an amazing job. They were very professional and the crowd was very pleased. We missed most of their performance as we were off taking pictures, but I heard nothing but good things from my guests. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Excellent!!! Professional musicians at an awesome price. Although there were several snafus with other vendors on my special day, Organic String Quartet was not one of them. We received several compliments regarding the class and elegance they provided before and during the ceremony. Our guest thoroughly enjoyed them as they performed modern hits during the cocktail hour. This group is an excellent investment and a must have to any elegant wedding. :o)

Organic string quartet did an amazing job at our wedding and we couldn't be happier. I hired them because of their diverse playlist which I wanted traditional for the ceremony and modern for the cocktail hour, and they did just that. They were extremely easy to work with, especially because i just wanted them to do their thing, and that is what they did. Plus, they had very good prices for what they delivered. We were very pleased and got great feedback from the guests. I would highly recommend and I would hire them again if need be. Even being up at the altar with a million things running through my head, I enjoyed the beautiful music they brought to our wedding. It was absolutely lovely.

I had a duo from the Organic String Quartet play at my wedding for the pre-ceremony, ceremony and cocktail hour. They were absolutely amazing! Alicia is not only wonderful to communicate and coordinate with, but she is also very accommodating to whatever you are envisioning. They learned three new songs that came from our personal congregational song book, and they truly mastered them! They are extremely talented musicians that took my wedding to another level of class and elegance. They helped my fiance and I create our perfect day!

Max was great. He even learned a song for which there was no sheet music. In fact, it wasn't even officially released, but it was a song my husband and I heard at a concert before we got engaged. Great business and a great group of musicians.

We loved having Organic String Quartet perform at our ceremony! They were so flexible with our song selections and even played pieces of our choosing that weren't in their repertoire! The day of the wedding was extremely windy and my wedding planner said they continued to play through gusts of wind and sand! We are SO appreciative of them persevering the conditions because the moment that I walked down the aisle, everything got so still and perfect. The music set the mood perfectly and the song that I selected really made the moment special for my new husband and I... it was the theme song to our favorite movie, Legends of the Fall! Alicia at Organic String Quartet was very professional and prompt in her responses to my questions and flexible with our unique venue and conditions. I highly recommend them for your wedding!

I used Organic String Quartet for my wedding ceremony. Due to financial constraints, I could only use a string trio, but the sound was still full and beautiful. Alicia was responsive and helpful, and made herself available to discuss the details of set up and the timeline before the wedding. Their execution of the music and my timeline were perfect and it fulfilled my dream of having live string music as I walk down the aisle. Everything I asked them to do was done without error!

Their repertoire of music ranges from traditional to pop, so you have plenty of choices. Since music was incredibly important to me, it was nice to have a fantastic list of songs to choose from. I also did quite a bit of research on vendors, and they were by far the cheapest of all the vendors I found. You can't go wrong with Organic String Quartet! They are dependable, and even my wedding coordinator was impressed and added them to her list of vendors.

They did a great job. The only thing i would have like was a full list of their repertoire; I was choosing songs only from their website and did not find out till much later that they have a huge playlist. Once I knew that all the songs I requested they were able to perform.

We were looking to hire a quartet for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I researched several in the area but found Organic String Quartet to suit our needs. Alicia was easy to talk to and provided us with an expansive music list. We had to move the location of our cocktail hour due to unforeseen circumstances, and I appreciated that they set up their instruments in two different locations without complaint. The music was beautiful and truly enhanced our big day. I was really pleased with Organic String Quartet!
