  I have worked with Veronica many time and always find her professional and easy to work with. She is the only full service rental company making it easy to source tents, tables, chairs, linens, table ware all at one place. A real benefit when working on a island. Definitely give her a call.

  I had a wonderful experience with Orcas Rentals! Veronica was so helpful and professional. I was pretty insistent on using ornate white/gold plates and she went through all her dishes to make mix matched sets for me! She was flexible with delivery and pickup to the venue and when they arrived they were all in perfect condition. I couldn't be happier with my experience with her and the company!

  Oh my goodness what an incredibly attentive and professional company to work with! Orcas Events did a fantastic job with a beautiful state of the art tent and equipment. They were flexible in meeting our changing needs and had everything ready on time. The cafe lights they installed for the reception were festive and beautiful. Veronica checked in several times to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Though the night was chilly, the heater they installed in the tent kept our elder family members warm and comfortable so they could stay longer to visit.
  
  From first contact until the end of the rental, Orcas Island Events did a wonderful job and made putting on a destination wedding so very easy. I highly recommend Veronica and her capable staff. Their equipment variety is extensive and well maintained. We will definitely use them again.

  Orcas Events/Veronica was endlessly gracious, flexible, accommodating, and thoughtful.
  
  I might have expected to be held captive by island pricing (not a great deal of options or competition), but the rates and value were consistently fair and transparent.

  The delivery and pick-up went smoothly and on time. All of our other vendors were happy to work with Orcas Events, and it was evident their positive reputation preceded them. Hopefully, there won't be a second wedding in our future, but if there was, I would use Orcas Events without hesitation.

She made suggestions which our inexperienced minds would not have thought of, that greatly enhanced the beauty and comfort of our space, while at the same time keeping the price within the budget we had requested. The level of professionalism all throughout the process kept us assured that everything was going smoothly. All calls were returned promptly, with accurate estimates and all other pertinent information. She was very patient with our occasional indecision, changes, and add-ons to the order, always putting us at ease with her enthusiasm for being a part of one of life's most special, exciting, and unique occasions.   We rented a tent, tables, chairs and heaters from Orcas Events. Veronica was very organized and efficient. Everything arrived on time, was just as ordered and was assembled properly. I would definitely use Orcas Events again

  Veronica was wonderful, from our very first meeting. She was personable, helpful, professional and yet felt like a friend. We had a great time planning our wedding, chatting about relationships, and life in general. She was able to assist us with what we needed, and then truly came to our rescue the day of the wedding. Hosting a wedding and reception on a small island is a beautifully unique and magical experience, but can also provide some challenges. Just a couple of hours before the ceremony, the church at which we were getting married informed us that they did not have any candle holders for our unity candles. I was a bit panicked, as there are so few vendors on the island who would possibly have candle holders the exact sizes we needed. On a wish and a prayer, I called Veronica and she immediately brought gorgeous sterling silver candle holders that were not from her inventory, but were from her own home, a gift given to her by her sister. How incredibly sweet was that?! Veronica is not only a vendor who is knowledgeable and flexible, but is also a fairy godmother on the side! I highly recommend Orcas Events for weddings, receptions, or any type of special occasion event needs.   Veronica is one of the only, if not the only vendor for chairs and rentals on Orcas island. With that being said she is extremely busy over the summer! The overall product and delivery was good quality. There was miss-communication several times during the planning and this lead to some stress.

  In fact, nobody remembers seeing these glasses, including the catering staff.
  When we refused to reimburse her for glassware that never existed, she resulted to gossip, upsetting friends and family until we agreed to send her money.
  This is Not a woman you want to deal with. She is unorganized and incredibly dishonest.

  We at Orcas Events were deeply saddened to read this unfavorable review of our services, even though we worked well together with the couple and their wedding planner in resolving the issue of missing items. There are several pieces of this review I would like to say are just not true. The agreement was that the items would have a staggered delivery and all items were delivered as agreed upon. We at Orcas Events strive to be organized and transparent in our dealings with clients. If rental items are broken, missing or ruined they do need to be replaced. In the 12 years of operating my business, this is the first time a disagreement of this nature has occurred. We will always take responsibility for any errors we make, but we certainly did not merit the libelous attack made in this review. Overall there were $803.29 worth of missing items from the wedding day and we worked with the couple so they ended up paying only $241.94.
