  INCREDIBLE experience with Orange Restoration Labs!

  I decided that I wanted to wear my mother's beautiful vintage wedding dress for my wedding! My mom got married in 1984 and the lace/satin dulled and changed color over the years. I was very concerned about finding someone who specialized in dress restoration and would treat the dress with the care, respect, and attention to detail I felt the dress deserved. Well, let me tell you....Sally did an incredible job. The dress was restored beautifully. She is responsive, professional, and meticulous. I can't recommend her enough to restore, preserve/clean your treasured dress.

  Sally at Orange Labs is phenomenal! I called her about a week after our wedding to have my dress and veil cleaned and preserved and she fit me in right away to see her. She looked over my dress and I noted a few small issues that I was curious if she could fix. The main thing being a hole in my full length veil! I wasn’t sure how it was going to be fixed but Sally assured me that they can fix it. I picked my dress and veil up this past weekend and I couldn’t be more happy! I looked over the veil and couldn’t even find the spot where she has mended the hole! I was blown away! My dress also looked as beautiful as the day I got it. Sally then packed away my dress in a box with a little window so I can see it whenever I want. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Sally! Thank you so much for taking extra special care of my dress!

  I recently dealt with Orange Restoration Labs to clean my wedding dress. Through an online search, I found the company and was pleased to see I could deal with a company locally in Connecticut. I was skeptical of sending my dress away to a company that I had no way of knowing was legitimate or not.
  
  I contacted Orange Restoration Labs via email, inquiring on their services, and Sally contacted me back right away. It was clear through emails that Sally was very flexible and encouraged me to bring the dress to her so she could see it and discuss my questions in further detail. I made an appointment to drive down and see her. Her schedule was very flexible, she was able to meet me on the weekend without a problem.
  
  As soon as I met Sally, I was put at ease. She explained the process she used to clean the dresses and explained how the company worked. It was very clear she had a passion for this business and was very knowledgeable as to what should and shouldn't be done to care for special occasion dresses. She explained that wedding dresses are really special garments and basic dry cleaners do not have the experience it takes to care for them properly. I realized this quickly as I shopped dry cleaners prior to finding Orange Restoration Labs. I had a large silk satin ball gown with intricate beading. I spend a considerable amount of money on the dress, and expected care to be taken when it was cleaned. A couple dry cleaners told me they could clean the dress by turning it inside out and putting it in the machine, or that I should have a seamstress remove the beads so they could treat it, and then the beads could be sewn back on. Sally told me that both of these suggestions were nothing she would consider doing at all. She further explained that my dress is hand treated and each spot is treated individually to ensure the stains were removed. The beading needed to be altered, and they would take precautions to protect that. I was also concerned my dress had been sitting for over a year until I decided to clean it, and Sally told me she didn't have any concerns about getting the stains out. Most of the stains were typical bottom of the dress stains.
  
  I happily left my dress at Orange Restoration Labs and was contacted a few months later when it was ready to pick up. Sally would have had the dress ready sooner if I needed it, but I told her this was not a job that had to be rushed. I drove down to pick up my dress and had the pleasure of looking it over prior to it being boxed up and preserved. The dress looked gorgeous, in like new condition. I couldn't believe how well the stains had been removed. Sally took care to steam the dress prior to boxing it, and also packaged it with extreme care and plenty of protective tissue. She was very comfortable handling the dress, and I felt at ease because I knew she was caring for it as if it was her own.
  
  I left with my box, it was even raining out that day, and Sally gave me a bag to cover the box to save it from getting wet, and had her husband Rogers carry the box out to the car for me.
  
  I highly recommend the services Orange Restoration Labs provided. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. The quality of service is exceptional. The price paid for the service was also fair. After pricing other companies in the industry, their quote was definitely going rate, which I was more than happy to pay, considering the high level of service I received. I certainly would not have received the level of service or felt as comfortable shipping my dress out to a larger company that I would have to deal with site unseen.

  Absolutely Wonderful Dress Cleaning

  Sally and Orange Restoration Labs are wonderful! It was so easy to schedule a time to drop off and pick up my dress from her location in Orange. She and her team did a fabulous job getting the black dirt stains out of my wedding gown hem and allowing me to inspect it before packing it with care in front of me. They offset their Carbon footprint which is a bonus. I'm completely satisfied with how Sally got my dress back to looking like new when I thought I had ruined it. I highly recommend Orange Restoration.

  Not all wedding gown restorers are created equal! Because there are so many options (internet, local cleaners, specialized wedding gown restoration), it can be confusing. But look no further-Orange Restorations Labs is top notch. Salli, the owner, has done conservation work at Yale University Art Gallery, Smithsonian and Winterthur, so she knows her fabrics and stains well. She is even willing to clean older or vintage gowns with seemingly untouchable stains with great success. The technology has changed greatly in the last few years, so once untouchable stains can now sometimes be taken out. Once your dress is cleaned, you get to see the finished product before it is packed away acid free tissue. It was terrific to deal with such a knowledgeable specialist. She also does antique veils and christening gowns. Avoid the horror stories and call Orange Restoration Labs for your special cleaning needs.

  My daughter's dress had some burnt marks on it from sparklers as well as dirt on edges from dance floor and sand from walking along beach.
  When I picked it up for preservation you couldn't tell where the dress holes had been from sparklers and very clean.
  Packed well. Also very gracious about my picking up dress - it was ready when promised but I did not pick up for over a year and they were very understanding with the delays

  Sally provided expert repair and cleaning of my daughter's wedding dress. The dress had a tear and she came up with a very creative solution to the problem so no one can tell there was a tear. My daughter's wedding was 3 years ago and had not been cleaned and now the dress looks new. The cost was very reasonable and Sally was very accommodating to our schedule for drop-off and pick-up. She clearly is an expert in the field and extremely easy to work with and very professional.

  When I brought my dress to Sally, it had so many stains in the inside from my self tanner. There were also some tears in the train from my bustle. When I picked up my dress, it looked like it was brand new! Sally even sewed the tears! The dress was beautifully packaged! Thank you, Sally!!

  I highly recommend Orange Restoration Labs in Orange, CT for your wedding gown cleaning and preservation. My dress was pretty dirty after wearing it all day and after spending a fortune on the dress I wanted to make sure I would have it forever. After taking my dress to Orange Restoration Labs, it looked brand new. Sally's attention to detail and passion to make it look perfect resulted in the dress looking better than I ever expected. I was amazed how clean the dress was. I highly recommend her services.

  Following my wedding, I brought my Christos Arabella dress to Sally at Orange Restoration Labs for cleaning and preservation. I thought the dress would be a challenge (layers of tulle with hand embroidered silk flowers and crystals), but her team meticulously cleaned and preserved the dress and stored it in an acid-free box. Compared to preservation services in NYC, this was a great value too! Thank you again, Sally!

  Couldn't have asked for a more skilled person!

  Sally is amazing! She is a true professional and takes pride in her work. Sally was very flexible with her schedule to accommodate when I could come to her. She takes great care in each wedding gown she works with. Sally is extremely knowledgeable and a delight to work with! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

  Sally is an absolute joy and knows her craft. I bought my dress "off the rack" from Covet Bridal. They shipped it to Orange Restoration Labs for cleaning before my wedding. She did a stunning job, and when I picked up my gown she made sure I inspected it before I left with it. I knew from then I would have her clean my gown after my wedding and preserve it for safe keeping. Again, stellar job, and made sure I was absolutely happy with it before she started boxing it up. She took very deep care while packing it gently, making sure seams matched up, and the lace was neatly folded and tucked in.
  
  Sally is flexible and easy going and it feels like I've known her forever as I walk into her home studio/office/work space. I would highly recommend Orange Restoration Labs for anyone looking to have their gown cleaned, preserved and with the utmost care.
