    Dana is amazing

    Thank the higher powers we found Dana. Even though we only hired her as our day-of coordinator, Dana truly guided us throughout the process, making savvy recommendations and smart tweaks as we went on. She seriously went to bat for us when a vendor got a bit behind in planning, and was a incredibly calming and pragmatic presence during the crazy lead up to the event. We are so, so glad we found her and recommend her to anyone planning an event.

    Dana was the first wedding coordinator we met with and we hired her immediately. She was a pleasure to work with - very responsive and helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process. While we hired her to be our coordinator day-of and starting 6 weeks before the wedding, she went above and beyond, making herself available to us much earlier to help talk us through some of the planning and offer vendor referrals. She completely saw our vision and had no trouble helping bring everything to life. She was very organized and friendly to work with and I really can't be more happy to have had her involved for our big day that went off without any problems. We even stuck to our timeline to a tee! Would highly recommend her!

    Simply put, Dana was AMAZING! We hired her as our month/day of coordinator for our June wedding and it was the best decision we could have made. After our first meeting with Dana we knew we had the right person. Right away she gave us amazing vendor recommendations that ended up great. My husband and I planned the entire wedding ourselves and when it came down to all the crazy details like the timeline and coordinating all the vendors the stress definitely would have mounted if it weren't for Dana. She was beyond on top of things - organized, professional, straight to the point, and totally great to work with. When it came to the wedding day, we did not have any stress with Dana behind the scenes.

    Even when there were a few hiccups on the wedding day, she handled them perfectly. She calmed our nerves when our DJ had an emergency and wasn't going to be there until right before the reception and when not one, but two tables caught on fire. In fact we wouldn't have even known there were issues if I hadn't asked how things were going and let her know it was ok to tell me! She even helped our parents plan an incredible surprise for us during the reception and kept it a perfect secret all throughout the planning, which went off without a hitch.

    To top it all off, after our wedding was over she figured out and let us know about a discrepancy in our liquor order. We did not get all the alcohol delivered that we paid for, and she ended up saving us a significant amount of money. We never would have caught that ourselves and were so grateful that she was looking out for us. We've already recommended her to a friend. She is the BEST!

    I could go on and on about how organized, punctual, professional, and friendly Dana is, how she is constantly willing to work with vendors to get her clients what they want for their day, or how confident I felt on my day because I knew that she was taking care of things.
    Here's a couple stories from our wedding, just to prove how amazing Dana is:

    Our officiant ghosted on us about a week before the wedding. We hadn't heard from him in 2 weeks, despite leaving several voicemails and emails. I called Dana to ask her advice, and discovered that she was already on it. She called him multiple times a day, sent a ton of emails, and when that failed, called me with a list of alternative officiants that she'd already talked to with last-minute availability. We ended up finding our officiant in the end, but it was SO reassuring to know that Dana was on top of things every step of the way.

    On the wedding day, I realized I'd made a mistake and only ordered 2 bridesmaid bouquets. I'd since added a 3rd bridesmaid. I was freaking out and did not know what to do. Almost as soon as Dana arrived about an hour later (she was picking up our cake for us), she got the news about the bouquet from one of my bridesmaids, and came right upstairs to reassure me. Toss bouquet in hand, she told me not to worry, that the toss bouquet was almost identical to the bridesmaids' ones, and she'd get it back from the bridesmaid later to use for tossing. This might seem like a small thing, but small things like that happened countless times during the wedding day. If I did not have Dana, dealing with all of those small issues would have been overwhelming.

    Most importantly of all for me was the fact that Dana, who took care of decor set-up, did a GORGEOUS job arranging the tables and misc decor.     Dana was an amazing coordinator who used her expertise to help us pull off a stunning, yet complicated, wedding day with multiple food truck vendors, two bands, live performances from friends, and more. We were running behind all day, and she kept everything moving along - talking to our vendors, making changes to the timeline when the shuttles arrived later than expected, making sure the bridal party was ready to go and in place when needed. She had our caterers bring us a sampling of every appetizer that was served during cocktail hour and made sure we had a few minutes alone right after we were married. That was one of our favorite moments of the wedding - getting time to ourselves and enjoying the tasty food our guests were eating while we were taking photos.

    While she was "just" our day-of coordinator, she did so much more than that. Especially once we got down to the final four weeks before the wedding, I was swamped with DIY projects, seating charts, decor...and it was SO nice to know she was taking care of contacting all our vendors (and we had a lot of them), confirming our contracts, sending out timelines, answering their questions so I didn't have to. It made my life so much easier during those stressful final weeks.

    After experiencing a couple weddings without a day-of coordinator, take my advice - make sure you hire one and hire Dana if you want to be taken care of!

    Throughout our wedding planning process, Dana was our guardian angel. Though just a day of coordinator, Dana always made herself available to answer questions and make vendor recommendations. She took the time to confer with each and every one of our vendors in order to ensure that everyone was on the same page, which was an incredible help. She was present for every walk through we attended, and never hesitated to be assertive when we couldn't. The day of timeline that she provided us with was expertly crafted, and with her help, our wedding day ran more smoothly than we ever imagined possible. She even stood guard over us to make sure that we ate at our reception - a feat which is often deemed impossible for the bride and groom.

    Dana is a pleasure to work with, and a woman who truly knows her stuff. She manages stressful situations ridiculously well, and is a pro at problem solving in a pinch. If you're in the market for a coordinator, look no further.

    Dana was absolutely amazing in helping us plan and execute our dream wedding in Ojai, California. My husband and I live in New York and as many brides can sympathize with planning a wedding is stressful enough, but planning a wedding from 3000 miles compounds the stress. I was able to have complete creative control and as our wedding coordinator, Dana, would provide helpful guidance and advice to make sure my ideas were feasible and within budget. She helped me find amazing local vendors, vet contracts and negotiate prices. She answered all my frantic emails and phone calls reassuring me that the day would be wonderful and she was right! Prior to our wedding we reviewed a detailed timeline of events and how exactly we wanted the day to go. The day of our wedding I literally did not have to think about anything except enjoy the day. Dana was a wonderful person to work with, her experience and expertise was invaluable in our planning process. We would definitely recommend her.

    We absolutely loved Dana! We had a small wedding with a very tight budget so we were only able to hire her for our day of coordination, but she was still so helpful with suggestions and advice during the months leading up to our wedding. Our ceremony was held on the lawn in front of a City library which was open to the public so there was sensitivity regarding the set up which she handled perfectly. The reception venue was a block away and she spent the hours leading up to the wedding running back and forth between them making sure everything was exactly as we had planned. She managed all of our vendors including a 20 person High School Drum Corps which was a part of our wedding ceremony, and made sure that everything ran smoothly and on schedule. Her expertise was invaluable, and throughout the day she anticipated our needs and was incredibly thoughtful. She is warm, friendly, confident, and insanely good at what she does, I cannot recommend her highly enough!
