Cole Tague was a wonderful, receptive, communicative and accommodating DJ! We had a blast with his musical accompaniment, his excellency in energizing the crowd, and very much appreciated him taking all our requests and playlists with joy and aplomb! Thank you so much, Onyx and Cole!
Taylor Hughes was also a fabulous, communicative and very talented photographer! We already have so many of our photos since the wedding and all of them have turned out absolutely fantastic. Taylor was also very lovely and kind with all our guests and was extremely willing to make all our moments (even last ones ha) happen! Thank you so much, Onyx and Taylor! -

Onyx was AMAZING at our wedding! Not only did the help supply hair and make up for myself and my girls, they were also our DJ, photo booth, and supplied games for our guests. All vendors they helped connect us with were above expectations. Our DJ was so loved (Cole) and his assistant. The dance floor was absolutely ELECTRIC and our guests still talk about it today. Both vendors we worked with for hair and make up were so great and organized. All the girls looked amazing and loved the way they looked on our wedding day. Onyx was easy to communicate and even with having 4+ vendors with them, it was as easy as could be! Cant recommend them enough. -

We hired Onyx for the dj, hair and makeup, and photo booth. Every service we hired was great! They all brought our wedding together and made it the perfect day! Everyone loved the dj and photo booth! The girls who did our hair and makeup did a fantastic job as well! -

Working with Onyx was an awesome experience from start to finish! Derek and his team are professional, communicative, and thorough. It was such an easy and simple process! Our DJ was Cole and he did an incredible job just getting to know us as a couple beforehand, managing timeline pivots, organizing all the little details, reading the room/vibe, and making it a memorable and fun experience!! We are so so thankful for Onyx and would recommend them to anyone in the area!! -

My wife and I used Onyx entertainment’s services for our reception lighting and dj, and we were THRILLED. Everything looked great, the dj was fantastic and made sure to hit all of our requests while taking plenty of requests, and sticking to our do not play list. We also really appreciated the attention to detail before our wedding. -

J from Onyx entertainment was the perfect addition to our wedding day. He was very professional and with just a short call in addition to their completed questionnaire, was able to curate the perfect vibe for our evening to keep people dancing. We wanted to be as hands off with the reception music as possible to let the DJ do their thing, and the selections could not have been better. We cannot recommend them enough! -

Working with Derek was so easy and stress free. He was ready to communicate and so thoughtful. He provided honest options and time-lines. Our DJ Carson Bruce was amazing he kept the music flowing and really got the vibe of our wedding. We still get compliments about him. I would hire onyx again for our next event! -

Our experience with using Onyx Entertainment for our wedding was exceptional!
We hired Onyx for DJ services and Photo Booth services. Our DJ, DJ Jarrel, was phenomenal! He was very professional throughout the entire planning process, took into consideration our song selections and overall, as the bride made, sure I knew that he had everything covered for the ceremony and reception.
He provided all of his own equipment, with backups of everything just in case and offered to provide anything else additional we needed (lapel for officiant, extra mics for singers we had and allowed our violinist and pianist to plug into his speakers). As part of the planning, he outlined all of our special requests/songs & details in a shared iPhone note so we knew exactly was going to happen & that he had it all covered - which gave me a lot of comfort as the bride.
We were SO happy with J's dj-ing and emceeing - he nailed all the introductions and special dances we had like the anniversary dance, grand entrance, last dance and all that.
Having a great DJ was one of my top priorities as I was planning my wedding - and I'm SO glad I found Onyx during my planning process. Every guest we talked to said DJ J did a great job. I couldn't have asked for our DJ experience to have gone any better :)
We also used Onyx for the Photo Booth at our wedding - and also had an awesome experience! The guests LOVED the photobooth - which offers photos, boomerangs and gif which can be printed (photos only obviously) in sets of 3 or sent via email/sms. We chose the package that offered printouts of photos that could be kept and also 1 placed in a photo book that people could write in which we got at the end of the night. We also received a digital album with all the photos, boomerangs and gifs from our guests - which was so fun to look at! Derek, the owner of Onyx, was our photo booth attendant and he did an amazing job. We had a ton of guests comment on how great he was and also how much they enjoyed the photo booth. It was a hit!

Angelo was great! He was professional, he came to myself and my husband for questions and clarification to make sure our day was exactly how we wanted. Onyx Entertainment is the absolute BEST DJ service I could’ve imagined. Derek and his team were such a joy to work with and made the entire process so smooth and painless. Know that you can trust them to provide the highest quality DJ services, the friendliest customer service, and complete ease to work with! It’s a great feeling to a bride and groom to know that you have a trustworthy vendor that you won’t have to worry about or babysit, and Onyx completely puts you at ease with how thorough and on top of things they are. Our big day wouldn’t have been the same without them, and I can promise that they will help make your wedding as smooth, fun, and enjoyable as possible!!
