Wonderful experience

Janet and Rebekah were incredible! They created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the perfect way to start my wedding day! Janet and Rebekah did mother of the bride, mother of the groom and my wedding hair and makeup. We all had high expectations and particular hair/makeup requests and I am happy to report these expectations were exceeded. Janet made me feel like a true Princess!

Janet and her team were PERFECT!

Janet and her team were very timely, professional, and polite. They made the entire process very smooth. I had 8 people getting their hair and makeup done. We finished ahead of schedule and everyone looked gorgeous! Each person had a different hair style and makeup inspo picture and each one left feeling beautiful and confident. Highly recommend! Incredible job!

Janet and her tam worked on me and my 8 bridesmaids and mother of the bride. They were timely, skilled, friendly, and amazing -- they were able to do some really complicated styles and awesome makeup including glitter and face gems. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are getting married at Disney World!!!

Awesome experience!

Janet and her team were amazing! She did my makeup for my July wedding in Florida and it looked wonderful all day! She created the look I wanted for my hair and it turned out even better than I could have expected. She made it super easy getting ready for my big day and I am so happy with how it all turned out!

Fantastic Wedding Decision

Janet and her team was AMAZING to work with! They were prompt and very professional. They are competitively priced and you get fantastic services. I couldn't have imagined looking any better on our day!! My look photographed sooo well and it stayed all day through the FL heat. I still looked perfect by the end of the night. I cannot recommend them enough! My sister in law got her makeup done on my wedding day and loved it so much more than her own bridal makeup!!

Loved janet!

I was very nervous, as all brides probably are, selecting somebody to do my hair for my special day, especially without doing a trial. Without a doubt, Janet fulfilled all my hopes and dreams for making my day magical. Janet did myself, my mom, my Maid of Honor, and another close friend of mine. We all absolutely loved our hair! Janet was extremely helpful and easy to work with. I loved how she sat us individually in front of a mirror and played with different looks until each person was 100% satisfied. I would highly recommend her!! I wish I could re-live the day! Even every moment getting ready was a fairytale come true!

Amazing, Professional and Friendly

Janet was amazing I could not fault anything. The hairs were beautiful and make up flawless. She was so easy to get on with and flexible to help in anyway she could. She was on time and had us all ready in plenty of time. Worth every penny!! Thanks Janet for helping make our day perfect!!

Beautiful makeup and great personality

Janet was funny and professional from my very first encounter with her. I received her information from Disney Fine Art Photography, something about her I just liked. Anyway, she did my 16 year old daughters makeup and hair for a pre-park photo shoot which meant she needed to be at my hotel by 3:30am. Janet was on time and maybe my daughter & I feel at ease. My daughter was incredibly happy with the results. Unfortunately, I live in NY and Janet unable to do my daughters hair & makeup for prom. 😞. I highly recommend Janet and she is worth every penny I spent.

I had an early morning wedding, having flown in from PA the day before. Bijou was wonderful! Kind, excited, organized. A nice relaxing morning!

The quiet morning hour, having my makeup done is a stand out of my wedding day! Bijou was so excited for me, organized and had truly listened to all my preferences on makeup for the day. I fully relaxed and knew she had understood what I wanted. She engaged with my crazy family, and made the morning just very special. I loved my makeup, and it lasted the whole day in that Florida heat!

Janet was such a pleasure to work with! I had an event at Walt Disney World, and she came at a godawful hour of the morning to make me look like a princess. Moreover, she was there two days in a row - once for our photo shoot in the parks, and once for the actual event. I got so many compliments on how she did my hair - I really felt like a princess!

Janet was professional, warm and created a relaxed atmosphere. She listened to what I wanted, gave advice and made great recommendations to suit me. She did my Disney wedding makeup and hair (and my mom and mother-in-law), and also a second day for a pre-dawn Disney photoshoot, where we had to start super super early and she was happy to accomodate. My makup stayed until bed time! I had half up with curls and flowers in the back coming down to the side, with a tiara and sparkly dramatic eyes! She even helped me do my nails!

It was a real joy to be made over by Janet. She was kind, funny, warm and professional. She styled mine and my wife’s hair beautifully and did a fantastic job on our makeup. Both hair and makeup lasted really well even in the heat and humidity of summertime in Florida.
Janet accepted our booking with only a few days to spare and kept in touch to let us know when and what to expect. She was even generous and thoughtful enough to drop us at our venue after she’d finished working her magic. She added some real sparkle to our special day.

Janet is amazing!!!! I called her very close to my wedding after having a terrible experience with another stylist for my bridal trial. She called me right back and was available for our wedding date!! she was so friendly and accommodating. The day of the wedding her and her team were so fast and friendly. They truly helped make our day special, and made all of my girls look gorgeous. I loved having her there and have never felt more beautiful

Janet was amazing to work with. I scheduled a photo shoot at Disney World, and she was a recommended vendor. From the moment I spoke with her it was so obvious why Disney put her on their vendor list. Janet was professional and we were able to book the appointment over the phone since I am not local. On the day of the shoot she exceeded any expectations that I had. We had a brief conversation about what I was wearing and what look I wanted. She immediately shared my vision and made some wonderful suggestions. As she did my makeup she even gave me advice on products that would be great for my skin which was much appreciated. She did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. They both stayed beautifully throughout the shoot and several hours after. I received so many compliments that day. Before she left she also gave me several tips and advice for the photo shoot. I would have completely forgotten to bring a compact with me for touch ups had she not reminded me. I wish that I were getting married in Orlando so I could have Janet do my hair and make up for the wedding.

Absolutely amazing experience with Janet. She was extremely professional from start to finish and was always quick to respond to emails which was perfect as I live in the U.K.

The make up was lightweight, looked natural and lasted all day, as did my hair. Janet asked me my preferences at every stage so I ended up with the exact look I wanted. Can’t recommend enough!

I was very impressed with On Site Beauty. Janet was incredibly friendly, flexible, and kept us in the loop. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup. She also did all the hair for my bridal party (6 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, and my mom) and everyone's hair stayed perfect throughout the day. We had our wedding inside, but the reception outside in May. I highly recommend On Site to anyone. They also came back for my Disney portrait session. Our pictures looked incredible and I was so happy with everything.

I truly lucked out finding Janet to transform me for our Disney wedding photo session on May 22, 2017. She was very pleasant and responsive during the whole process. We communicated via email (I'm from Toronto) and she answered my questions clearly and took the time to speak to me over the phone to make sure things were cleared. Janet was very attentive day of and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. I am super please with the result for my hair and make up!! My daughter Brooke and I fell in love with Janet and her team, and they are beyond wonderful in every way. My daughter was married 2 week ago on 2-18-17, and she truly was a vision of beauty that took everyone's breath away. Thanks to Janet who did my daughter and myself with both hair and make up, we honestly looked amazing. My husband and my son kept telling us how gorgeous we were. Janet has such a sweet personality and is truly gorgeous herself. Just seeing her picture made me realize that she knows about beauty. She is stunning herself. . Her personality makes everyone in the room feel happy and her associates are such pros. We had a large wedding party and we all looked perfect well into the night and even the next day. Janet was amazing to work with! She showed up right on time and remembered everything from our trial months earlier. She had amazing suggestions for my hair and makeup and made sure I loved everything that she did before we finished up. She really wanted me to love my look and feel comfortable on my special day. My makeup looked amazing in our wedding photos! And my hair still looked great at the end of the day, even after enduring strong wind during my outdoor wedding ceremony and lakeside pictures! I was the MOB for a wedding where we had Onsite Beauty for our day-of hair and makeup. Not only did Janet and her team make us look our incredible with their beautiful hair styles and perfect make up applications, but her demeanor and professional work environment made us so very relaxed. We felt pampered as if we were in a spa environment. The hours and days before had been extremely tense and hectic, but we went to the ceremony refreshed and renewed instead of squabbling and dour. She really got the day off to a great start and set the whole tone of the wedding. Her gentle way and your flexibility were essential to the success of the day for all of us!!!

Janet and her team did a FANTASTIC job of getting me and my girls ready for my wedding. She arrived at my hotel room right on time with all of the details from my trial (7 months earlier!) for my exact makeup shades. I had a large group so she had additional hair/makeup artists arrive and depart in waves and we were done 30 minutes ahead of time! The whole morning getting ready was so LOW STRESS and fun, and I was thrilled with how well my makeup stayed put in the summer florida humidity and rain (it downpoured for my whole wedding)! Everyone from the MOB/MOG down to my youngest (teenager) bridesmaid loved her style and she was more than willing to take inputs when my sisters and mother thought my makeup needed some changes.

Janet came bright and early to our hotel room at Disney and did my hair and makeup for our early morning shoot. She did the most incredible job! I had no idea my hair could do that! I recommend Janet 100%! She even helped me into my dress and spent 10 min lacing me up! Such a great experience! Thank you Janet!

Janet handled hair and makeup for our wedding in April 2015. I cannot praise her enough. We loved how it turned out. Not only did she do a great job, she is incredibly personable. I would definitely recommend her.

Janet and Laura (her makeup assistant, who also happened to have a fantastic wealth of knowledge on hair as well) were amazing last week! My MOH threw me a surprise bridal shower while we were all vacationing at Disney, and since I'll be getting married there in July, she figured it'd be good to do some trial runs of hair and makeup. Not only were Janet and Laura completely able to deliver on what I requested, they also bought into the atmosphere of the whole event and made it more fun! It was so comfortable and relaxed that I have no doubt they'll be able to bring that kind of calm to the wedding day in July.

My bridesmaids and I asked for some heavy-duty hairstyles, and we all have very thick, long hair. Janet was able to give us beautiful looks without any of the pins showing (a miracle, really), and it lasted all night when we went to Downtown Disney to continue the fun. Laura's makeup was natural and stunning, and she even gave each of us a little container with our colors of lipstick (for which she has SUCH a good eye in terms of matching it to skin tones!) and a little brush so that we could apply touch-ups after they'd left as needed. I can only say that I was so wowed by how well they listened, but also by how well they incorporated their own ideas into the styles. Since it was a trail run, Janet did each of my bridesmaids' hair in the way that I had requested (loose braided look over one shoulder), but added a little twist on each of the girls so that we could pick which one we liked best.

Laura did the same with the makeup, doing four different, natural looks that ranged from dewy to princess-y to royal to fierce. =) Nothing looked over-done or over-the-top, which is exactly what I wanted. You can really sit back and relax with these ladies! They'll bring as many or as few helpers as you need and you won't have to worry about a thing. You'll look like the most fantastic you you've ever seen! =)

God Bless Janet, she was so sweet and awesome. I hired Onsite Beauty for hair and makeup services for a Disney Bridal Portrait Session the day after our wedding. Because Disney picks you up at 7am for getting photographed in the theme parks, Janet came to our resort room at 430am. She was awesome and easy to work with, knew how to work with extensions, and did a fantastic job on my makeup. I would hire again, she was very sweet and accommodating.

Being that I lived out of town I was a bit nervous not being able to have a trial run for hair and makeup. Janet was able to bring my vision to life perfectly. She was right on time and very friendly. When I have been in friend's wedding in the past I have seen time crunches with makeup artist and hair stylists. She did an absolutely fantastic job and was completing the final touches when the wedding planner came in to start photography. I never felt rushed or stressed. She did an absolutely perfect job on myself, 2 bridesmaids, and my mother. The great thing is our hair and makeup lasted all day and it was absolutely beautiful! A have very straight hair that never stays curled and Janet was able to create the perfect bouncy curls. Choose Janet for your event and you will not be disappointed.

Janet was absolutely amazing. We had some travel difficulties that made her have to wait for us at the hotel to do the trial run and she was so gracious and flexible. My hair looked exactly like the picture I showed her and she was very responsive when I asked her to make tiny changes from the trial to the wedding day! Everyone was obsessed with the makeup she did on all of us. It was absolutely beautiful and stayed all day and night in May which was amazing in itself! I am so glad I chose her for my wedding. It is hard when you live out of state and have to pick someone without meeting them first, but I would recommend Janet to anyone getting married in that area!

Janet made my bridesmaid, my mother, and myself look just fabulous! She came in early on Saturday and ended up finishing right on time! We had her do hair and make-up for 2 and just hair for 8 girls. All of the bridesmaids had different styles but she blended them all to look well together. I couldn't believe how well she put me together and I truly felt like a princess once she was done with me. Working with Janet was one of the best decisions I made regarding our vow renewal in November. Due to the nature of our events and schedule, Janet ended up coming to fix me up 3 times in a week (2 of them in the middle of the night) and each time I looked amazing. She was very personalable, and did a beautiful job.

After she did my hair she did my Maid of Honor, and our three little girls. They all looked unique and beautiful. The little girls love the specially attention and the pampering she did for them.

Using Onsite Beauty was one of the BEST decisions that I made on my wedding day! I wanted someone who would be able to come to the prep location for my wedding and provide make-up and hair services for myself, bridal party and family. Janet Mednick, owner of Onsite Beauty, and her team were able to provide everything we wanted and more! Janet was wonderful to work with from the very beginning! She was easy to communicate with and easy to contact if I ever had any questions. I set a trial run up with her and she created the exact look I wanted for the wedding day! On the day of the wedding, my mom, sisters, cousins, and friends all met in a conference room at the hotel next to my wedding venue, and Janet and her team did all our hair and makeup. She accommodated all our requests from hair, makeup, and fake eyelashes!! Even family who didn't make an appointment were able to get hair/makeup done and in such a wonderful time frame! Janet did my hair and make up for my Disney wedding. She also did one of my bridesmaid's hair and makeup and another bridesmaid's hair. She was a pleasure to work with and came right to my hotel room. She had her own arsenal of rollers, makeup and hair products and was able to create looks that were just what we wanted. She even pleased my very picky bridesmaid and was happy to fix the three hairs my bridesmaid swore were out of place. haha I received lots of complements on my hair and makeup and everyone agreed that I still looked like me, just more fabulous (I don't wear a lot of makeup and I was worried that having too much would make me look strange). I am so excited to see the professional photography, but what I've seen of my friends' pictures, all our hair and makeup looked wonderful all night.

Janet did a wonderful job! I did a trial with her and then she did hair and makeup for both my mom and me for my wedding. I just showed her a couple photos to give her an idea of what I wanted and she got it exactly right. I don't normally wear make-up so I didn't want to go overboard, and she made me look gorgeous but still natural. She will work to get all the details right. I am from New York and found Janet online. I was most excited she did Disney locations as we were staying at the Disney Saratoga Springs resort! Well first off let me tell you she was AMAZING! I live in the UK and was recommended Hair and Make up by Disney who were arranging our wedding. I emailed Janet and she responded immediately and was professional and friendly. We visted Florida 6 months before the wedding to meet with our planner and I arranged a trail for my hair and make up with Janet. Janet came to the villa where we staying, she was very accomodating as we could have gone to her salon or she comes to your house. I explained how I wanted my make up and she did exactly what I wanted, it was perfect. I was unsure of how to wear my hair but Janet was happy to go through different styles until I was happy.
On the day of the wedding Janet came to the hotel room where we were staying and was so friendly that everyone felt relaxed. Janet did an amazing job on my hair and make up on the day and went beyound what we had arranged by helping my bridesmaids with their make up too.

I am very serious about giving Janet a 5 out of 5. She has a calming demeaner about her so if you are a nervous Bride you can relax as she knows her stuff. Time is never an issue as she knows what she needs to do and gets it done. I previously got married in April and had Janet do my bridal party's hair and makeup which consisted of myself, my mother, and my 2 sisters.. I am an older bride so me and my Mom were hoping for a miracle haha... My Mom couldn't believe her eyes when she looked in the mirror at her hair and makeup she looked amazing and was so happy. My hair is a special case - it's naturally all kinds of crazy textures, but I get it chemically (Japanese) straightened, which I had just done prior to the wedding. Poor Janet had to work with me for four hours during the trial to figure out how to get my hair to do what we wanted, but in the end she got it, and all the time with a smile! She was extremely professional and courteous, and the day-of, my hair and makeup as well as the hair and makeup of my bridesmaids were all positively stunning! She and her assistant got everything done on time, and our makeup and hair stayed gorgeous all day and all night!! Janet even gave each of us little kits with our lipstick so we could refresh - but we didn't really have to. Everything stayed put just like it was supposed to! The best part was the false eyelashes - we all got them, and all of us loved them! They didn't bother any of us (even those of us who wear contacts), they didn't look fake at all, and they also stayed put all night long but came off easily with eye makeup remover. I'm so glad she suggested it! She did a flawless job, and I'd recommend her to anybody looking for hair and makeup for their wedding!

She was very easy to work with, she was so easy going the morning our of wedding and she traveled to our hotel in downtown Orlando! Janet was fantastic to work with before and during my wedding day. She was very professional, completed all the makeup and hair on time, and was a joy to have on my wedding day. I cannot imagine hiring someone more perfect for my group of girls. I took off a half a star because communication was slightly cumbersome due to the automatic replies every time I emailed. Additionally, some of the pricing was confusing to me but when all is said and done, she was awesome. I would definitely hire her or recommend her services again.

Beautiful hair but it didn't last on me

My hair lasted about 2 hours and then it started sagging. I left a detailed review on the knot of you'd like to read the whole story. Overall, she didn't do a bad job I think time and a bad call caused my hairstyle to fail. Grateful for my friends who kept pinning it up as it was falling out more and more as the night went on. Their hair did great all night long.

The photo with my mom is about 2 hours after my hair was done, you can see the back was above my neckline and clean. The photo with my husband was about 4 hours later,( after the ceremony and more pictures ) and you can see it's hitting the bottom of my neck/the top of my shoulders.

Janet took her time and listened to our concerns and brought an assistant to do hair and make up for 5 members of our bridal party.
The end results were beautiful, and everyone was very happy.
Check pricing before hand!!!! Price does vary according to hair length...and it varies alot!!
Also allow extra time... Janet arrived at 10.45 am and I was still late for our ceremony at 3.30pm...and it was in the same building :-)
Other than that a great experience.

My hair and makeup for my wedding came out great. The only negative thing I have to say about Janet, was when she came in on the day of my wedding, the number of girls that were counted for hair, changed. So she immediately gave me attitude (on the day of my wedding...), and saying how she wouldn't have brought help if the number changed. My mom then had to cancel her hair appointment (which she already paid for), just to accommodate Janet. Overall, great outcome, but bumps along the way. I'd recommend her only if you have bridesmaids that will not change their minds.

I booked Janet from a recommendation from a friend. I met her at my trial run for make up and she was great. Took her time adjusting my makeup until I liked it. I went ahead and booked her because she seemed perfect! Come day of my wedding Janet was very prompt, even coming a little bit early for hair and make up. At first everything seemed to be going smoothly but when one of my bridemaids had asked her to make a small change to their hair she seemed to get very agitated making comments like "oh no that won't work because of this" it seemed like she just wasn't willing to change someone's hair once it was done. Then when it came time for my sisters hair, I had told her at the trail run that she had long, thick, curly hair and she told me not to worry about it age would be able to do it. When she went to do my sisters hair she was overwhelmed and kept making comments about how much hair she had When it got down to the last 2 hours Janet seemed very flustered and agitated. We had plenty of time because it was only my mom and I left to be done but she seemed to be rushing. My photographers showed up and wanted to get some action shots, they asked her to stand on one side of me for a moment to get a picture and Janet stood there for a small moment and then moved before the photographer was done and told the "hope you got it I need to be on this side". It just made me feel uncomfortable. You could sense the uncomfortableness in the room. My bridemaids and I just kept making eyes at one another because no one wanted to say anything to her. When it was my moms turn to get her hair done Janet gave her this big "hump" on the tip of her head for a half up Half down look. My sister and I thought it was too much and asked her to lower it a bit. She rushed to rip the bobby pins out and got snappy with us and said it wouldn't be seen in photos and that we need to stand there and tell her what it is we want. At that point we just told her to do what she thinks and let it be.

Overall, Janet and her team did a great job with all the bridesmaids and bridal party. As the bride, I felt like I was pushed to the side waiting for everyone else to be done first. Then I was the one being rushed at the end to get my makeup done and get dressed for pictures. The makeup was stunning, but I definitely did not love my hair. I had done a run though with Janet and it didn't seem like she didn't remembered any of it, even though she took pictures.

I was referred to Janet by my wedding venue as I live out of town, and I'm not familiar with the area or other artists. When I booked Janet, I was told that the remaining balance would be $400. The day of, she tried to charge me more. She also requires YOU as the customer to cover the PayPal fees. This is extremely tacky and unprofessional in my opinion.

I asked her to do an underneath braid for my daughter which she was not able to do. Instead, she threw it up in an extremely messy tacky bun that fell within hours. The only thing that saved the hairstyle was the headpiece I provided.

I emailed her with a picture of what I wanted for my hair before committing, to which she said "very simple! I can do that, no problem!" The day of, she in-fact was not able to do this and after her huffing and puffing and redoing the braid 4 times I settled as my head was tender at this point, and time was of the essence.

My makeup was less than impressive. My daily makeup looks better than what she did, however I didn't have the time to redo it. I did however have to redo my eyebrows as well as my sisters as they were very uneven and not filled in all the way.

Janet's attitude with us while she was doing our hair and make up was unimpressive and her patience with my daughter was non existent. I don't suggest using Janet unless you're able to do a trial run with her first.
