  Lisa Gardner and One If By Land, Two If By Sea, made our wedding reception one that guest will surely talk about for years to come. Lisa met with us multiple times to discuss and plan everything for the day-of. The restaurant provided beautiful white roses, menus, music, and place cards, in addition to the amazing food! We had a brunch reception- we came for a tasting of all brunch items, and chose four that we really loved, to be served day-of. Our guests enjoyed the food and the jazz music that accompanied. On the day of our wedding, Lisa kept everything running smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing! The historic restaurant made for great pictures and topic of talk among our guests. The bartender and waitstaff were all so professional and very friendly. I would absolutely recommend One If By Land, Two If By Sea for any events, and of course just for dining as well!

  We had our wedding ceremony and reception at One if by Land Two if by Sea. The restaurant is a GORGEOUS, historical place with chandeliers and brick walls. Rosanne, the general manager, was very helpful in planning the details of our wedding. Not only that, but the restaurant was so generous in letting us use all the space, the flowers at the table, and the musicians that play for the restaurant. Rosanne kindly printed us beautiful menus and table numbers and even offered to print place cards for all my guests! We loved having our wedding there!

  My husband and I recently had our wedding ceremony and reception brunch for 100 guests at One if by Land. We cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Rosanne Martino, general manager, is an absolute superwoman and helped make the day run as smoothly as possible. It goes without saying that the food was to die for and our guests are still complementing it. We also asked the restaurant to make our cake for us and it was divine (chocolate cake with raspberry mousse--yum!). The jazz musicians were lovely, the staff was exceptionally helpful, and the ambiance cannot be found anywhere else. We are so happy that we chose to have our wedding here and we would highly recommend it for those who want a romantic, intimate wedding.

  It was a beautiful wedding. Roseanne and the staff were easy to work with, very flexible and totally accomodating. I cannot say enough about the site, the menu and every detail of the evening.

  My husband and I are both French and we decided to have a destination wedding in New York. We decided to held our wedding dinner in one if by land two if by sea without even setting a foot in the restaurant!
  
  It was GREAT and MAGICAL. We were in the main dining room and the atmosphere is just sooo romantic, completely what you are looking for for such an occasion. The lighting is dim and again perfect for the occasion. The pianist at the entrance is the cherry on top of the cake!
  
  The food was AMAZING. Coming from France and used to a very high level of gastronomie we did not expect much from an american restaurant, even expensive (I know, I know, very cliché). How wrong! Almost two weeks after the wedding, our guests and us are still commenting on how good and fine the food was. I had the beef wellington as it is the signature dish, even if I am not a big fan of meat but it was perfect and I definitely recommend it and even if I am still not a big fan of meat, I became a big fan of the one if by land's beef wellington!
  
  The wedding cake was in line with the rest of the meal. Just YUMMY! We were completely full after the dinner so unfortunately did not have a lot of room left for it... but you should have seen us the day after :-)
  
  Last but not least, hats off to all the employees, they were very helpful before and during the dinner. Smiling and really sharing our joy, they contributed to create this unique atmosphere.
  
  In a nutshell, Go to this restaurant ( and if it is for your wedding dinner it is even better!)

  Roseanne the manager ofcthe restaurant helped with all the details for our cermony and reception, the food most the most INCREDIBLE.
  She was able to provide a beautiful cake foe a reasonable amount of money.
  Her staff at the restaurant was awesome and we were treated like KINGS!!!!

  I honestly cannot find the words to thank One If By Land, Two If By Sea. Our wedding went off without a hitch in no small part by the help and professionalism of this establishment. Especially the Manager Rosanne. They were accommodating, flexible and even came up with a few ideas that we had not thought of. And that's just about the staff.
  
  The venue itself is gorgeous. The food delicious. All my guests were impressed and had a wonderful time celebrating our nuptials.
  
  Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.
