  Simply The Best

  Fair warning - this may be very long, but we just have so many wonderful things to share about our experience working with Sumeta!
  
  
  HOW WE CONNECTED:
  We found Sumeta online while just browsing for full service wedding planners in the Southeast region. We reached out to her via her website and heard back very quickly! We were able to set up a consultation call to essentially go over what we are looking for and ensure we could be the right fit for each other. From the first call, Sumeta was so kind and sincere! It was clear she absolutely loves what she does and genuinely wants to celebrate your love and marriage. She was very inquisitive - she, of course, asked the basic questions about our wedding events and what services we were looking for - but she was the only planner who asked us some unexpected out-of-the-box questions, like what does celebrating love look like to us, what kind of experience did we want to have, what kind of experience did we want our guests to have, and how we want to tell/share our love story through our wedding. It wasn't just all business - she was genuinely most interested in us as a couple. We really appreciated her questions and just had a really good gut feeling upon ending our call. All I can say is always trust your instinct. We are so glad we did because this was the beginning of the best decision we made! After reviewing the different packages she offers, we decided to book Sumeta as our wedding planner for her full service package! 
  
  
  PLANNING PHASE:
  We started on a completely blank page -  we had no idea where we wanted it or which vendors we wanted to book, so we wanted to go the full service package route as we trusted that Sumeta would have the best contacts and be able to get us the best deals throughout the process. What we really appreciated the most during this phase was that we didn't just jump right into vendors and venue. Sumeta has a process. She wanted us to "dream" and really think about what was important to us. It was really fun to challenge ourselves to use our imagination and try to put into words what we visioned. She really wanted to understand where our hearts were before showing us any venues or introducing us to other vendors. 
  She really did it all for us - venue, catering, photography, videography, decor, entertainment, photobooth, singer, etc - every single vendor we worked with we found through Sumeta. She would lead all calls and meetings, review contracts, and negotiate. We would simply explain what we were looking for and trusted her to bring us the best of the best, and she delivered with every single person we worked with. 
  
  
  WEDDING WEEK:
  Sumeta created the entire timeline for our wedding week. She worked with all of our vendors to share timings and ensure they knew where to be each day. She even met with all of our immediate family members to bring everyone on the same page of what to expect as well as share our expectations of them regarding any responsibilities and timeliness. Side note - she is awesome with family members and they all loved and respected her! During the wedding week, she is mainly behind the scenes ensuring everything is running smoothly. It's crazy how many hats she wears, but she wears them well! Despite everything that is going on, she would always make time to come see me during hair and makeup, she would always make sure to greet us before any of our entrances, she would check in with us throughout the event to make sure we were eating or that we always had a cocktail in hand, and she would even be there at the end of every event to make sure we were happy with everything. She even came to join us on the dance floor a few times, and it was soo special to us! I really don't know how she always found the time and energy to do all of it - seriously, she's superhuman. We always felt cared for! She also brought two additional assistants with her for the weekend, Alyssa and Sydney, and they were a true reflection of her! She really only works with the best people, and we always felt like we could just trust her entire team and enjoy our wedding weekend, as it always should be for every couple out there!
  
  
  POST WEDDING:
  Sumeta continued to work with us after the wedding to ensure all of our contracts and payments were closed out. She even continued to support us months later with photography and videography deliverables. She had always said that her role continues even after the wedding weekend. She believes in supporting her couples until they truly have closed out everything and have received all their deliverables. 
  
  
  Sumeta is simply the best! The work that she does is truly her calling. She genuinely believes in celebrating love and she will make the planning process actually fun. So many couples talk about how they hated the planning process, but we simply cannot relate - we loved planning with Sumeta and would recommend her every single time!

  Look no Further - Your Coordinator is Here

  Sumeta was phenomenal to work with. I consider myself to be very organized and operationally oriented, but Sumeta constantly brought up items we had not considered in our planning stage. She took the time to understand what type of wedding and event we were looking for and made sure to ask the right questions to get us there. We had a very short timeline in our planning and Sumeta met us at every milestone to make sure we were on track for our special occasion. Her detailed mind and fantastic team executed every request and suggested adjustments to meet our overall planning goals for a celebration to remember. From Vendor communications to music testing, she was with us through the process as a partner. My only regret is we did not initiate her, and her team’s help earlier in the planning process. You won’t be disappointed with this team!

  Outstanding Wedding Planner!

  I have collaborated with One H'art Events- Sumeta and her Team on various special occasions /events as DJ, especially cross cultural Weddings in the past few years. She is an amazing and a wonderful planner to work with you and your family and I would definitely say Sumeta is one of the Best planners I've ever worked with. Sumeta and her Team specializes in using their creativity, organizational skills and knowledge of the industry to curate an unforgettable & memorable experience.   Hands down the best wedding planner!!

  I was feeling completely overwhelmed when we found Sumeta. I met with her and she made all my worries melt away. I cannot imagine planning my GIANT wedding without her. I was working on a Teacher's budget and she really helped me to get the most for my money. My extended family is close to 170 people and they all wanted to come to the wedding! She is absolutely amazing and I cannot say enough good things about her.

  Outstanding

  Three cheers for Sumeta! She went above and beyond to make sure the couples day was glorious! She was always there to make sure that we as a Videography company knew what was about to happen and where, and seamlessly ensured we could do our job brilliantly. I can honestly say she is one of the best planners we have ever had the good fortune to work alongside - her and her team were charming, kind, approachable and made sure the day was excellent for everyone present.

  I was the DJ and MC at a wedding this past weekend and I got to work along side a wonderful planner. Sumeta is one of the best planners I've ever worked with. Very professional and organized and such a pleasure to work with. She operates with grace under pressure and brings a kindness to those around her that is rare.   Sumeta is a life saver

  I have no idea what I would do without Sumeta! I was trying to stay under the 20k wedding budget and Sumeta helped me out all the way. I DIY a lot of things including favors, wedding invites, bouquets, and even down to the wedding decor! She gave me good insights and straight up let me know if something looks tacky. I really appreciate that kind of feedback and not just someone who agrees with me on everything. She helped me decorate and bounce ideas off of. She also helped me take care and coordinate with all the other vendors. She was on point and made sure everyone knew the schedule and knew what they needed to do. I literally thought the week of my wedding i would be stressing out and going crazy over last minute details...but I literally was just sitting around the house relaxing the week of. It was great!!! On the day of, Sumeta and her team helped with everything that I didn't know what else to do but enjoy the event. At the end of the event, they helped us pack up the cars and made sure the reception was cleaned up and all items accounted for. I have heard horror stories of things missing, but everything was there for us. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was worth the money to hire Sumeta even though I was on a super tight budget. Thank you again Sumeta!!

  A Dream Come True

  Sumeta at One H’ART Events was a dream come true. My wedding was evacuated from North Carolina to Atlanta due to Hurricane Florence. Sumeta was able to plan the most perfect wedding and reception in a total of 3 days (Yes, really only 3 days!). Needless to say, I was a little stressed about relocating my wedding and re-planning the entire thing in a city I wasn’t familiar with. Sumeta instantly calmed all of my fears and took my vision and created something even more special. Her main goal that week was for me to handle as little of the little details as possible, leaving me able to enjoy my time with friends and family.
  
  Sumeta is such a special person, any bride would be lucky to work with her. I am fortunate to not only call her my fabulous wedding planner, but also now a good friend. I would recommend One H’ART Events to anyone, trust me you will thank me later!

  Professional and Perfectionist

  As a makeup artist I have worked with Sumeta multiple times at different events, she has always delivered excellent results and everyone has always appreciated her hard work and dedication. She will go above and beyond to make sure the events are successful and nothing short of full satisfaction to the host and the guest. I always refer my clients to her also for any event planning.

  Most Amazing Experience ever

  I used Sumeta for my receptions services. I would not have had the most stess free and seem less reception without her. She was everything I needed and more. Even after being miles away from each other, she managed to always adjust to our busy schedules. Can’t wait to work with her again!

  When I was referred to Sumeta from a cousin and when we had first communicated, I knew she would be the one who would turn my imagination into reality! Her work ethics, time management, organizational skills, and moreover her dedication for her career is unbelievable. Everything I had planned, imagined, and looked forward to was presented in a flawless way where I did not even have to overlook any details. From then on, my family and I recommended Sumeta and her team to family’s that need a planner because her phenomenal work! My family loves Sumeta and we still keep in contact with her!   Sumeta did a fantastic job planning and coordinating the day of the wedding. She dealt with unanticipated issues professionally and effectively, with back-up plans arranged depending on the timing of the events. She also was very helpful in planning an impromptu after-party, picking an excellent venue.

  Sumeta was a pleasure to work with. She kept the venue team at ease by serving as a single contact for a multi day wedding at the Memorial Coliseum. I would highly recommend her to remove the stress from you life as a bride. She always kept the bride interest in the forefront of her needs. She had issues with her flights due to weather and went above and beyond to drive multiple hours to be present for the big days. Meanwhile she was problem solving remotely despite her own challenges.

  Sumeta was extremely helpful in the planning process. She has great ideas and really focuses on the couple and making sure we had everything we wanted for our day. She took off all the stress from the couple the day off and made sure things went smoothly the day of. She handles all situations extremely professionally, and made the experience so memorable for all of us.

  DO NOT HIRE! They will ruin your wedding experience

  All PLEASE read,
  Note: I am writing a very open and honest review. I know this is long but it is important that brides and grooms read this prior to hiring this team. I am happy to talk to anyone who wants to hear more about our experience with One H’art Events/ Sumeta. Please do NOT hire them.
  
  We hired Sumeta as our wedding coordinator back in 2019 for our 2020 Indian wedding (vidhi, garba, wedding, and reception) that was at a venue away from our home state. Due to COVID, we had to reschedule our wedding to later in 2021. In the very beginning we had high hopes for Sumeta as she promised a lot and spoke well on the phone but as we got closer to our wedding weekend we realized that hiring her was a HUGE mistake and I will explain why.
  Months before the wedding, Sumeta sent us an amendment to our contract due to the changed date. When we reviewed the amendment in detail, we noticed that she had increased the original package rate, added a fee for the vidhi, and added costs for the date change (which was not typical due to the Covid reschedule, no other vendor charged us this fee given the circumstances). We only noticed all these differences when we did some digging and found the original contract from early 2019 which had a lower rate and included the vidhi in the package price. After we mentioned the discrepancies in the two contracts, it took many weeks and reminders for her to admit the amendment she sent was wrong. She was definitely trying to pull a fast one on us which was a total shock because she was the ONLY vendor to try and get more money out of us in a deceitful way.
  Weeks up to the wedding, she promised that she would deliver an itinerary for the wedding and reception. I received the wedding itinerary one day before my event and I still to this day have NOT received a reception itinerary. Sumeta was so MIA days before the wedding that I told my husband that I think she will be a no-show. I literally thought she was not going to come because she had done NOTHING days before the wedding and I had no itinerary after weeks and weeks of going through the details with her over the phone. I did what any other bride would do, I made my own timelines the week of the wedding and that is what my family and bridesmaids used during the whole weekend. We should have known better and found someone else but she pointed to personal problems with every bump in the road so we gave her the benefit of doubt and thought she would deliver when the time comes.
  During the actual wedding weekend, I had so many people (bridesmaids, close family) tell me how clueless my wedding planner was. Then after the wedding, many of my friends asked what her company name was so they could spread the word about how awful Sumeta is with organization, communication, and direction. We would have been fine if her team even did the bare minimum. She had forgotten so many important pieces, but here are just a few:
  1. Rose pins to be given to all the men during the wedding: I realized they were not given out before the ceremony as discussed so I reminded her assistant and asked them to distribute them for the reception. They forgot again so 70 pins with fresh flowers were wasted.
  2. Garlands for the groom's vidhi: she told us they were not in the cooler but we later found 3 of the garlands we needed in the cooler ourselves. Lots of fresh flowers we put effort into bringing to the venue were thrown away without use.
  3. She did not take me to my first look because she was getting ready herself so my sister and I had to figure out where my first look was while we walked past guests heading to breakfast. I had discussed with her weeks prior that I wanted to be led there by her or her assistants.
  4. One of her assistants who was tasked with guiding/coordinating the baraat spent the entire time dancing away instead of doing any of his responsibilities. Towards the end of the baraat there was no guidance where people should be so the DJ drove away before my family could join the fun with the groom's side. There was confusion and awkward silence to kick off the wedding due to the lack of coordination by her team.
  5. The entrance table for the wedding was on the side where guests are supposed to exit, so while I was getting ready to enter myself I noticed the placement was wrong so I told one of her assistants to move it near the door. It was a shame since I put so much time into my collage and the entrance sign – by the time they moved it, so many of the guests were already seated.
  6. For the vidhai (goodbye ceremony), she was supposed to bring the horse and carriage to the front after we had lunch (which her team also forgot to put together for us) but the horse and carriage was nowhere to be found so my husband had to go find it himself. He also had to send one of his Groomsmen to find it in the morning before the baraat since there was no communication from Sumeta's team.
  7. I had a guest ask her where the bride's side was sitting (left or right) during the wedding, she said she did not know and went to ask my sister which side our family was on. We had discussed this detail many times.
  8. My hair and make-up artist asked me who my wedding planner was and then continued to tell me how odd it was that she did not introduce herself or come to my room to check up on me because that is what she usually see’s from wedding planners.
  9. My husband and I were literally moving around tables for the reception while guests were enjoying cocktail hour because they were arranged in an unusable format. There was miscommunication with the venue but she didn't even care to check in with us as while it was being set up. One of her major selling points prior to our contract with her was that she would make sure things were set up properly.
  10. During our reception entrance, she opened the doors too soon for my sister's entrance and also MY entrance with my husband. My husband had to tell her to close the doors because the DJ was not done announcing it!
  
  As a bride, I got past all of this because I wanted to remember my wedding weekend as a happy and joyous time. We had talked to Sumeta for hours regarding the points above (and MANY more) but she and her team simply did not follow through. Hopefully she is able to fix her company because I would not want any other wedding ruined due to the lack of her services.
