Jon and his wife are excellent!! Jon officiated our wedding and was our DJ. He was very responsive and respectful of our wedding plans. He played music we requested and even kept the party going with some karaoke which my family really enjoyed! His wife was our photographer and she took some amazing pictures for us! Jon even took some videos of our special day which was a wonderful bonus! The price was awesome and fit our budget perfectly! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you Jon and Annlexys, you outdid yourselves! I highly recommend Once Upon a Wedding!! -

Jon was our only vendor that listened to what we wanted and delivered on it. Our wedding planner bailed, our photographer didn’t mic the officiant and video as he said he would and didn’t take key photos. If it wasn’t for Jon, we would have been in an awful mess. He acted as planner, photographer, videographer and DJ. He went WAY above and beyond. We got alot of compliments on the amazing party we had and it was all because of Jon. -

Absolutely amazing to work with! He was super responsive and answered all of our questions quickly, which made everything so much easier. He really helped us figure out the timeline and kept everything running smoothly. We had a small, intimate wedding and he still managed to keep everyone on the dance floor all night.
The setup looked beautiful and added so much to the overall vibe. He was fun, helpful, and just genuinely great to work with. Couldn’t have been happier! -

How amazing Jon is
I found Jon off of Bark website and omg I’m so happy I did. He truly made my wedding everything I wanted and more. He played every song I asked, he did my last minute requests, made the last minute changes to speeches, and he even goes out of his way to take a ceremony video and a guest video of everyone congratulating us. He even went and got me and my husband a drink after we got married while we took pictures. He went above and beyond and I will be telling everyone to book him because he truly was the best and I recommend him for everything. He seriously does it all. If you see this thank you again Jon -

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. He delivered real quality from start to finish. He kept the energy high, kept everyone entertained, and truly went above and beyond anything an average DJ would ever do. He even stepped in to sign our marriage license since our grandpa officiated. That alone tells you the kind of man he is.
He read the room perfectly. Every song flowed. No awkward pauses. He handled every cue with precision. Ceremony. Entrances. Dances. Everything felt smooth and professional. You could feel the experience behind what he was doing.
He’s bilingual and talked with our family in Spanish like he had known them for years. Our guests kept coming up to us saying how fun he was. He recorded each table for a video guest book and made the whole experience personal and memorable. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. His enthusiasm lifted the whole night.
He communicated clearly leading up to the wedding which took a huge weight off us. He cared about getting every detail right. That kind of dedication is rare today.
We truly got a bang for our buck. He is worth every penny. An interesting man. An entertaining presence. A professional who gives more than you expect. Absolutely a five star DJ. Highly recommend.b -

His planning questionnaire was incredibly helpful for building the flow of our day and making sure all the key moments were covered. He used a mix of music we provided and his own selections to create the perfect vibe. He kept the event running smoothly and our guests had a fantastic time. Very affordable and very professional. Jon is a gem!!! He was the DJ and Officiant for my daughter's wedding on April 12, 2025. He and his wife Anlexys were our day of coordinators as well. They were an amazing team and kept all the details in check. Jon met with us several times before the wedding to confirm our needs and wants. He drove up to attend our rehearsal and arrived at our site early the next day to set up in three different locations at the venue for all the events. His pricing is incredibly reasonable for all that he offers. He provided videos from the entire day and sent those to us within one day of the wedding. He kept the night moving and the dance floor was never empty and there was no lull in the night at all. Jon and Anlexys were amazing to work with. Jon and Once Upon a Wedding is the full package. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! -

Jon will keep the energy up throughout the entire event! From jump he was a tremendous help to us, giving us advice and tidbits on things we would have completely overlooked. Putting together the song itinerary was a breeze, and the event followed the itinerary very closely (even with the bride being pulled in different directions constantly). The guests loved the shoe game and Name That Tune. He also gifted us with videos, which we would not have had if not for him. We didn't realize how special that was until we saw some exceptional moments captured on video that wouldn't have happened without him. -

Once Upon A Wedding was an excellent choice for a DJ. He offered so many other services as well. He had a very reasonable price but offered just as much as any other DJ's that were double his price. He was so friendly and easy to work with. He did everything just as we liked but also had his own suggestions if you needed help. He went above and beyond to take pictures and videos of our ceremony/reception even though we had not paid him for that. I highly recommend Once Upon A Wedding for you wedding needs/services. -

Phenomenal experience!!
I was planning my wedding and was struggling to find a DJ that would fit my budget until I found Jon from Once Upon A Wedding. We had our wedding this past weekend and Jon was there on time, was kind, polite and very accommodating! He set all his equipment up so fast and was ready to go well before guests were arriving. I gave him minimal guidance in the music selection but with only a few questions he nailed it! He played such an active role in the entire night filming some videos that are now precious memories. It was a pleasure working with him, and if you’re wondering if you should book him- trust me and do it!!!

We are so grateful we found Jon for my son and daughter in law’s wedding. Jon is extremely professional, kind, patient and organized. Jon, who is bilingual, was the the wedding officiant performing a beautiful ceremony in both languages. He set up a video capturing the entire ceremony and provided all of the music during their garden wedding. A lot of attention to detail, guidance, list of many traditional and unique reception ideas, timeline, prompt response to phone calls and in person meeting was provided, as well as accommodating last moment special requests with ease. Jon also provided DJ services with lighting effects and engaging music to get the celebration started from the bridal party announcements, bridal party dances, meal blessing, couple’s game that everyone enjoyed, having guests sing along, a special video recording capturing wishes to the bride and groom, toast, speeches, dedications, and more. There was not a dull moment of happy tears, laughter and a blast. The night was most fun and memorable. Many guests said, “this was the best wedding reception they ever attended.” Jon also captured many videos of the highlights of the night. I would highly recommend using Jon for any event and would hire him again for any future needs. He made the most special day of their lives perfect and easy. -

We hired Once Upon A Wedding as our officiant, DJ and photographer. He spent a lot of time working through wedding details when I first contacted him and gave me so much wedding info I hadn't even considered. When the time came for the wedding and I was still unprepared he took the time to let me work things out and helped me make small issues I had go seamlessly. He is so much fun, has a great personality and really helps get the guests involved (if that's what you want, I did). We chose to go with unedited photos and his wife did such an amazing job I didn't even have to edit them, I posted them the very next day (today). I honestly cannot say enough good things about them. Seriously hire them for everything!! He takes away so much stress and will make your wedding go seamlessly and beautifully❤ - Thank you Jon❤ -

Jon really takes his job seriously and does SUCH an amazing job. My wedding wouldn’t have been as perfect without him. He was the DJ for our wedding and exceeding my expectations. He took lots of time before the wedding to make sure everything was perfect and correct and worked with my coordinator and vendors and family so well. I recommend him 100%. The DJ stand and lighting and sound was prime and I was so happy with him and his work. -

Where to even begin… if you need someone who can honestly run your entire wedding perfectly leaving yourself and guest in complete shock and joy look absolutely no further than Jon! He is a miracle worker! And so knowledgeable and professional! Not to mention extremely responsive and genuinely an amazing individual to work with. He made all our wedding dreams come true! Also his advice early on with suggesting wedding insurance saved us! We were one of the many unlucky covid postponed weddings! Of course we hired him before well this awful global pandemic and he made a fantastic suggestion to get wedding insurance (unknowingly that months later a pandemic will happen) it actually saved us big time! He is like a wedding wizard! You can trust him whole heartedly! He was our officiant and day of coordinator and he went up and beyond! He even had drinks and food brought to us while we were melting under the harsh Florida sun for quick pictures. I had countless guest that told me they have never been to a smoother wedding than ours and honestly it’s because of Jon. Also we were from out of town so also he helped us with getting our license. It was a completely painless process all thanks to him. He is so wonderful and genuinely cares. We had guest thinking he was a friends of ours because he seem to know us both so well and our first time meeting him was at our rehearsal! We have guests getting married next already wanting him to do their weddings (sorry Jon we are about to keep you busy ;) ) He is one of a kind and he really cares and that something that stood out to me and made me want to work with him. Trust me he will not disappoint and your wedding with be everything you ever wanted thanks to this amazing man!!!

I can’t be thankful enough for Jon’s services on my wedding day! He traveled all the way to VA without any hesitation! Jon was the officiant and also the DJ and his wife did the photography. It didn’t feel like we were states apart during the planning at all, he made sure we went through the day step by step not leaving any detail out. He is truly great at what he does, the whole day went so smoothly and it was such a blast! Many friends and family complimented him for an awesome day. His wife was good at knowing what photos to take, I can’t wait to see how they turn out.

Jon was great about keeping in touch with us throughout our wedding planning process, and even was able to pivot and provide DJ services at the last minute! He met with us in person first to get to know us, provided great questions to get to know us and our musical tastes, and delivered a beautiful ceremony with our requested music and then provided a fun reception atmosphere afterwards! This despite being in the middle of a pandemic that caused most weddings to postpone or cancel. Jon kept with our original date and it turned out to be a magical day! Better than we could have even imagined! He is one of the Cocoa Beach Hilton’s preferred pastors and wedding providers. We highly recommend Jon and Once Upon a Wedding!

When we spoke with him he told us that he will take care of everything and make sure things will run smoothly but thats what everybody says. We didnt touch base back until 2 months before the wedding and everything was done via email. Then we just met at the ceremony and Rev. Jon officiated it exactly the way we pictures it. This guy is awesome. Book him and leave it to him to make your ceremony perfect. We screened and researched all out vendors and Rev. Jon is a true honest person and he will not be a part of your worries. He is even a great resource of everything else you need!

We used John for our officiant and our DJ and I have no complaints! My husband was not a fan of writing our own vows (because he’s a crier, lol) so John sent us each a questionnaire to complete in private. After we completed the he compiled the answers to really personalize our ceremony so that even though we didn’t write our vows, there were still some special details included. He was easy going and felt out the crowd. I recommend him for sure! -

We first met Jon Arnold when he married our best friends back in 2016. When we found out that he was available for our December 2018 wedding we knew we wanted him to marry us. Jon is professional, personable and is very responsive. Since we got married in St. Augustine we did not want him to travel for the rehearsal, so instead he spent over an hour on speaker phone going over every detail of our ceremony. On wedding day he did a fantastic job, gave us exactly what we had imagined and whispered instructions when we forgot what we were doing. He is the best and so great at his job. I would recommend him to anyone getting married in the Central Florida area! -

Andrea Sent on 09/03/2018We are very happy we hire Once Upon A Wedding, John really did an amazing job for us! Jon was great to work with, he really knew what he was doing and had everything so organized. He sent us a questionary at first to be able to get to know us and get prepared as perfect as he did. We did not have to go to the court before the ceremony because he was able to get our license for us in advance. At the ceremony all of my guests were super happy not only because everything was so beautiful, organized and perfect, he had so many ideas for the day, but because we had people English and Spanish speakers and he was able to do the ceremony in both languages, I am from Colombia and my family could not be happier about that!!!! John, we are more than happy we put everything in your hands and I will recommend you whenever I can!!!! Thanks so much for making our day so special! With Love, The Ruffs

Robyn Sent on 04/16/2018John was absolutely amazing! Very patient and help coordinated marriage certificate. We were getting married in Florida and were from out of state, John made the process very easy. He added many little special touches to our ceremony, including a remembrance moment for my father-in -law who passed in the Fall. John, you ROCK!!
