My wife and I needed someone to marry us ASAP, we called Sussie who was professional, accommodating to our needs, and extremely flexible.
She not only guided us through the whole process of filing our marriage intentions but planned and delivered a simple and beautiful ceremony on extremely short notice (3 days).
It was honestly above and beyond anything we could have expected and were pleasantly surprised and more than satisfied with everything. 1000% recommended to anyone looking for someone to make their special day extra special.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Sussie and Comfort for making my wedding day the most beautiful , stress free day. From the beginning Sussie took care of us and helped us every step of the way. She made me make sure all the preparations of the wedding were getting done in a timely manner. Comfort did an amazing job with our day of itineraries and they both made sure the day went by as planned. All throughout the night they both made sure my husband and I were having the time of our lives and thanks to them we did just that. I can definitely say the wedding planning was my least favorite but with their help it went by smoothly. Say Yes to OUAT
I was a bride that was trying to do it all. I wanted to be married by June 2022. I had reached out to vendors, but then life would happen and I became stuck in the same cycle. So, I reached out to Once Upon A Time Wedding Services and I got connected to Sussie. I almost cried out of relief when we had our initial conversation. When I told her that the wedding was in nine months, she gave me practical timelines and also assured me that with God’s help we were going to get it done.
Throughout the months leading to our wedding, she provided To-Do lists broken down by months. She gave us strategies on how we can organize ourselves for the wedding. When we were stuck she gave us vendor recommendations which we definitely took. Each meeting always started with her cheerful greeting and conversation and then we got to business. Closer to the wedding, she helped us tie up all our lose ends. A week before the wedding can be extremely stressful for the bride, but Sussie was very considerate and always allowed me to tell her what I needed.
During the bridal rehearsal, Sussie created an itinerary for the bridal party and made sure everyone knew where to go and what to do. She continued to assure me and worked to make sure all items/decorations for the church and reception hall were dropped off at their locations. The day of the wedding felt dreamy and organized. As a bride, everything happened like a whirlwind, but Sussie kept me grounded, on time, nourished and happy.
I can continue to say more about how much Sussie and her team helped us. There were times were we had to problem solve (like vendors falling through two months from the wedding) and last minute decoration changes. There were many moments were she displayed leadership and guidance. Sussie and her team worked so hard and professionally to ensure that our vision came true for our wedding. If you want a wedding planner, who truly considers you as a bride, but also as a person going through a stressful time in their life, I highly recommend Sussie Figueroa.

Amazing day-of-coordinator
Booking Sussie as our day-of-coordinator was the best decision we made for our wedding! Initially, we were on the fence about hiring a coordinator, but boy are we glad we did! She exceeded our expectations beyond belief.
Sussie was super helpful even before the wedding, like putting things on our radar that we didn’t even think of! My husband and I are from Latino backgrounds and it was important to us that our coordinator be bilingual. It was so useful that she could communicate with my parents and family seamlessly!

Such an Organized Wedding
Sussie was an amazing asset to us on our most important day. From the beginning, Sussie immediately start providing us with valuable information and insight about how to plan a wedding that we absolutely would have missed without her. When we first reached out to Once Upon A Time Weddings, we weren't certain we needed a planner for our day, but it quickly became clear we couldn't have done it without Sussie. Not only was she flexible on when we could communicate with her, she was continuously giving us feedback and ideas on how fully create our vision of a wedding. We had a unique style of wedding that essentially included 2 very different cultures of people, and I can say that without a doubt it was enjoyed by all in attendance. We cannot thank Sussie enough! We feel so extremely lucky that we found her - we hired Sussie for day-of-coordinating, because we had a good sense of what we wanted and were planning the wedding ourselves, but little did we know that Sussie was going to be such a huge asset in helping us figure out details we had not thought of even in the months leading up to the wedding. She asks for a lot less compensation than she could given the amount of work she puts in, compared to other coordinators I spoke with. She has a wonderful personality, incredibly caring and positive, which she brought to the entire planning process as well as the day of the wedding. She really wants to get to know you and make the day special for you. My husband and I cannot say enough about Sussie and Once Upon a Time Wedding Services. We planned our wedding in under two months and could not have done it without Sussie. She is incredibly organized, knowledgeable, personable and extremely helpful. She kept us on track at all times and always made herself available to us whenever we had questions, concerns or just wanted to chat. Our wedding turned our better than we could ever have imagined and we contribute part of the success of the weekend to Sussie.
Not only was Sussie very helpful with all the details leading up to our special day, on the day of she was extremely attentive, making sure we had drinks and food. She helped with setting up all the little details that made our wedding day so perfect. Not to mention she also made sure clean up was organized with no hassle and that we had everything that belonged to us. I cannot say enough good things about Sussie.

Planning a wedding is very stressful for the bride and groom and also the parents. I was prepared to be the cool headed person to help everyone enjoying the moment. But thanks to Sussie and her team from Once Upon A Time Wedding Services, I was able to lay back enjoying the moment as well. Not only they had put in place a well planned event, but also they were constantly available to pickup additional chores just to give us a chance to enjoy every bit of the moment . I was impressed when Sussie learned that the rehearsal dinner was going to be at our house, she offered to my wife to take on the services just to free us up. That is going above and beyond.

Amazing Wedding Planner!
Sussie was an absolute pleasure to work with. Through our planning, she was incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and took off any and all pressures that we may have faced. On the day of, everything went by seamlessly. I can be a bit of a control freak, and I was so worried that I would try to do too much on the day-of in order for things to be perfect. But Sussie took care of every single thing, allowing me and my bridal party to relax while we prepped, and she even brought us lunch! All of my nerves leading up to the day settled, and after the ceremony, I truly felt like a guest at my own wedding. We couldn't have done it without Sussie!
Sussie was a godsend for us as we were planning our wedding, piecing together our own vendors and trying not to stress over the details. Sussie not only was incredibly responsive, meeting with us personally and over the phone multiple times to get everything right and even recommending great vendors that did amazing work for our wedding - she saved us money! Not only that, she was very detail-oriented and always had our itinerary updated with any last-minute change we made - and added some nice details for the day of. Not only that, her facilitation of the wedding itself - all parts of it - on the day of allowed us to enjoy our friends, family, party time, and the love of our special day without anxiety and stress. Although we’re happy the rigor of wedding planning is over, we’re sad we don’t get to work with Sussie anymore! Sussie did our wedding ceremony back in March of 2018. We had the worst snowstorm that day we were scheduled to be married at her beautiful home. She really went out of her way to make sure her driveway was cleared of snow even tho the snow just wouldn’t stop! My fiancé at the time and I had decided last minute that the weather was really trying to keep us from being married on that particular day so we postponed the ceremony for the day after. Sussie was extremely helpful, patient and flexible with us. I feel she really cared about us and what we desire. She is both a great person personally and professionally. We feel so blessed that we found her on Wedding Wire. Looking back , I would not want anyone else! We had a small intimate ceremony that day.
