We would absolutely recommend this wonderful venue! Our wedding day was a dream come true thanks to Lark and Janine. Every detail was met, the barn is absolutely beautiful, the views at the ceremony site are gorgeous. Lark and Janine are more than accommodating, we stayed the night and they brought us coffee and quiche in the morning. Simply Fabulous -

We had a wonderful experience working with Lark and Janine at Once Upon a Time Events. Planning a wedding in 2020 was extremely challenging and they were flexible, communicative, supportive, and professional throughout the process. They worked with us to make sure that we could reschedule from May to October, and when we did have our wedding in the fall they were outstanding hosts, going above and beyond to make sure everything went as we hoped. In addition, they have good relationships with potential vendors and were happy to put us in touch with individuals or businesses they thought would provide us with the best services at reasonable costs. The venue itself is beautiful any time of year, and all our guests (even socially-distanced!) had a wonderful time, raving about the venue and amazingly lovely hosts. We would absolutely recommend Once Upon a Time Events! -

Haven’t had our wedding yet, but the venue is absolutely stunning both inside and outside the reception and ceremony areas. Lark and Janine are amazing and down to earth. So excited for our big day and so happy we’ll be having it at Once Upon a Time LLC!! -

Best Day Ever
You will not find a more accommodating wedding venue than Once Upon a Time Events in Kiowa, Colorado.
Throughout the whole planning process, Janine and Lark were there to help and answer any questions. I would shoot them an email and in no less than an hour later I would get an answer back. They let my husband and I come to the venue numerous times family and friends to plan for our big day.
on the day of our rehearsal, they let us come as early as we wanted to set up which allowed us to spend our whole wedding day relaxing and enjoying our family and friends.
on the day of our wedding, our family and friends could not believe how quaint and beautiful the venue was. it is the picturesque place to start your new marriage and journey with your partner. we cannot thank them enough for making our time so special! -

Beautiful Venue
We chose this venue for our wedding. It was the first place we looked at, and didn’t need to look any further. From the first time we met them, Janine and Lark were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place -
