The wedding was unbelievable and the service from Elizabeth Lauer and Kayla Nugent was excellent. Everyone that attended the wedding thought it was one of the most beautiful and enjoyable experiences ever. The food was incredible, the venue was unbelievable and the service was beyond compare. As Father of the Bride, and the guy writing the checks, this was one of the best weddings I have ever attended and would recommend the hotel to anyone considering an event.

Elizabeth and her whole team (especially Mr. JJ) were simply fantastic. I planned my wedding from another state and Elizabeth was always so helpful. They made sure nothing went wrong from the room blocks to the day of. It was simply phenomenal. It rained when we were supposed to take our pictures outside. Mr. JJ and Elizabeth to the rescue. They found a beautiful room that made up for the no outside photos. There was not a single thing about having my wedding at the Omni Royal Orleans I would change.

We had such a wonderful experience working with the Omni Royal Orleans for our wedding. We met with several other venues around the city, but we knew instantly the Omni Royal Orleans was our venue! They were amazingly accommodating with all our requests, and such a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend them to anyone hosting any type of event in New Orleans.

Elizabeth and the staff at the Omni Royal Orleans truly made our daughter's wedding and reception spectacular. Their service is absolutely impeccable! We can't say enough good things about Elizabeth's ability to handle every detail leading up to the wedding and through the night while still anticipating our smallest needs. The staff is just incredible as well! There wasn't a thing we would change as they made the night perfect.

I really don't know what to say other than PERFECT! Celeste and her team could not have made things more beautiful, easy, fun and incredible. I would literally not change one single thing. Rest assured if you have your wedding here it will be amazing!

The Omni Royal Orleans was an amazing place to have our dream wedding in the French Quarter! We picked the location because of it's beautiful ballroom, and the fact that we could take pictures on the roof overlooking the city. We worked with both Kayla and Celeste, and Ben helped with housing arrangements. Everyone was DELIGHTFUL and pleasant to work with. We planned our wedding from Seattle, Wa so we did all of the communication over the phone and by email. We were able to see the hotel once before the wedding, and Kayla gave us a beautiful tour. This hotel is the reason our wedding went perfectly. Celeste and Kayla assisted us in coordinating with our vendors, and made sure they had all the information they would need to help us. Kayla helped us the day of, as well as other attendants including JJ, who were extremtly helpful in assisting my wife and I with anything we might need. We had both our ceremony and reception here, making it easy for guests. The ballroom had many of the same colors of our wedding (gold and maroon) so we didn't even have to have a lot of decorations since it was already so ornate! The food was SO GOOD, and all of the vendors they recommended were wonderful. I could go on and on, but every step of the planning and our actual wedding day went very smoothly and it was a pleasure to work with the Omni! They treated my family, friends, and I like royalty!

Such an amazing, beautiful venue for our reception. The service was OUTSTANDING. Working with Celeste was wonderful, and I was very confident knowing my day was in her hands. The staff at the Omni were so attentive and accommodating. We even had an attendant that took wonderful care of my husband and I during our event. We couldn't have dreamed of a better experience.

I planned my wedding with Emily from Get Polished and Celeste at the Omni Royal. Both were AMAZING to work with, but I'll dish on the Omni specifically here :)

When we were getting hitched, we knew we wanted a sit down plated dinner, which is pretty rare in Nola where reception style weddings are the norm. So we decided quickly that we needed a hotel venue. My hubby & MIL (who is from Nola) toured like 10 places one day - yes, it was exhausting - and the Omni won hands down. First, it's GORGEOUS. The ballroom is traditional yes, but the open gallery area has these amazing windows that look out onto the quarter which gives the whole space a lot of character. The colors of the ballroom are also diverse without being too much, so you can really work a lot of different styles, themes and colors into the space. It's just a great space!

That said... we were blown away by the service and food. First, the food. IT IS AWESOME. Top notch. I know I am biased but it really is some of the best food I have had in Nola, not even taking into account at a wedding! Wedding food is notoriously terrible but the Omni's Rib room is FABULOUS! We served a soup (the gumbo I believe, delish), a salad (I think it was the Royal salad - super traditional and tasty), and then we had a choice of fish or filet. Both were amazeballs. Our apps were out of this world too - I can't remember exactly what we had, but they rocked - and we had some late night snacks which also tasted superb. All in all - AMAZING food!

Now for the best part? The SERVICE. First, Celeste is a doll to work with. Super organized without being too much - fun and outgoing without feeling suffocating. She was fab to work with. And the rest of the staff at the Omni was top notch - everyone gave five star service all around to ALL of our guests, and they were all so pleasant and happy to be there. It made the weekend all the more special.

Awesome venue for our ceremony and reception. Celeste and her staff were incredible and made the entire weekend so much fun! They took care of EVERYTHING and were very accommodating of our group. Truly cannot thank everyone there enough for all they did for us- it was an unforgettable weekend for all! Definitely recommend them for a wedding/reception venue!

The Omni Royal Orleans exceeded our high expectations as it related to rooms for our event, as well as planning and executing our reception. Celeste Meyers is a first class wedding planner and did a fabulous job with all respects to our wedding. I cannot think of a better place to have a reception if your wedding is in the New Orleans French Quarter/Downtown area. Our guests loved staying at the hotel. The value we received for our investment was great. Again, Celeste did a marvelous job coordinating the entire event. She worked very well with our multiple vendors to ensure all was perfect.

Everyone at the Omni made our 25th Wedding Anniversary and Vow Renewal an event that EVERYONE in attendance will be able to look back on and absolutely TREASURE the memories of!! From the INCREDIBLE décor of our event rooms, to the masks, to ALL the champagne and food and INCREDIBLE care that everyone paid to all of the details (food allergies, special requests, etc.) and to US ... It was an event of a lifetime!

I LOVE CELESTE! My original venue fell through a month before the wedding. She gave me lists of vendors who actually returned my calls and dealt with a lot of the more mundane details like linen sizing for us. It was a beautiful day in the Garden Terrace and the service was impeccable. It's a 200 year old hotel, but it is so elegant and beautiful!
Getting a hold of Celeste with enough time to sit and chat is difficult, but she's a true professional at soothing bridal worries away with one of her "piece of cake, darlin'" mantras.
The price is a bit on the expensive side, but for flawless service, a beautiful venue and a catering manager who is absolutely capable of anything(even finding a room for a couple in a sold out hotel), this is the place you want to go. Our room was stunningly beautiful, btw.
Word of advice: hotel staff let my sister into my suite without a key, my knowledge OR consent, so I would DEFINITELY ensure you lock up your valuables in the safe.
Also, the hotel is NOT easy for short people(I'm 5'6 and couldn't reach the peephole, the towels in the bathroom or the safe in the closet without standing on a chair). The room temperatures cannot be set below 65, so if you like it cool, you're kind of stuck. Mattresses are very soft with pillowtops and there were no extra blankets in the room, but there were very high thread count sheets on the bed. Room service and Wifi are very fast and easy to deal with, as are the fast check-in and check-out processes.
All in all, I wish we could have stayed there longer!

We were so incredibly pleased with every single aspect of our experience with the Omni and with Celeste (the catering manager at the Omni). The food was phenomenal, the room setups were absolutely beautiful, and the service was impeccable – We didn’t have to worry or think about a single thing all night other than enjoying ourselves – which is the best gift we could possibly ask for! Celeste’s organization and attentiveness throughout the entire planning process was unmatched. We would highly recommend Celeste and the Omni to any couple looking for a perfect, first-rate wedding experience.

Celeste Myers rocked! So easy to work with. Everything was perfect. I loved that they had a private "dinner for 2" set up for me and my husband right after the ceremony & pics but before we went to the reception. We got to sample all of the reception food and have the most incredible moments to ourselves as newlyweds!

From the moment we first went visit the Omni Royal Orleans, we knew it was special. The team there went above and beyond to ensure that we had the most perfect night. Elizabeth was so approachable and always got back to me quickly, Michael was so sweet and made sure we were taken care of and Kayla was always on top of the room blocking. The ballroom was completely transformed for our special night and I know they put in so much effort to give us that perfect experience. The day of the wedding went so smoothly and everyone at the hotel made us feel so special. I highly recommend this venue if a big, beautiful ballroom wedding with great customer service is what you're looking for!

Beautiful venue, the Grand Ballroom was our site and had plenty of elegance/room for 200+ guests. Celeste, the catering manager, is like your own personal wedding planner! Not cheap but worth it.
