    Great Venue with Amazing Coordinator Team

    Renee & Omni Team,

    Little relieved/relaxed after a crazy undecided run for this wedding.

    We are trully thankful for the entire 'Omni Team' (Bruce, Oscar & YOU) for doing an amazing job during the event. Renee, Your 24X7 support has just blown us out. That shows your passion and doing anything to make event really wonderful and flawless. Everything... literally everything went great as a part of coordination between Dream Gepant Event & Omni team (The most difficult part me and my team had experienced in the past with venue). This was not possible without great help/understanding/coordination from you and your team on every steps. We truly made a great team for this mixed emotions event.

    We wish to work in the near future for Indian wedding at your venue. We will definitely promote you for Indian wedding, whenever we get an opportunity. Greatly appreciate all your help.

    Perfect wedding/reception location-Omni Mandaly Las Colinas

    Loved every minute working with the staff and the facilities at Omni Mandaly Las Colinas for our wedding. The food was superb, service and staff were amazing. Shout out to Renee who was absolutely wonderful and helped to make our wedding perfect!!

    Perfect Micro Wedding

    We had our micro wedding downstairs in Flossie’s restaurant and it was absolutely beautiful. The space was very easily transformed into a small ceremony and reception area for our 25 guests. The hotel was very flexible and willing to accommodate our very non-traditional wedding. Renee and her team were so helpful and amazing to work with. The food was so delicious and the views in front of the canal made for some amazing pictures. I honestly would not have changed a single thing, it was the most perfect evening.

    We booked the Omni for our wedding ceremony that was multiple events over a couple of days. We worked closely with Christina, and couldn't have been more impressed. Christina, Katie, and the entire team at the Omni clearly has a lot of experience managing weddings, and are a joy to work with. We never heard the word "No" from them, and they always worked with us to figure out a solution to whatever issues we would discuss. They were extremely flexible with our needs, very responsive, and during the wedding, ensured all of our guests were taken care. A lot of our party had late flights out, and they were gracious enough to extend the large number of us a late checkout. Service and hospitality were world class, and we're very happy with our choice of using the Omni Mandalay at Las Colinas as our venue. The team is highly trained, experienced, professional, courteous, and incredibly flexible. The Omni is the perfect place for a wedding venue, and we can't recommend it highly enough.

    When it came time to book a venue for our daughter's wedding which was held on NYE first place I called was the Omni Mandalay Hotel. We loved the location since we would be having alot of out of town guests and it was the perfect location. We met with Christina which would be our wedding coordinator and she explained everything in detail and we signed the contract for the wedding. Christina and her staff were always very helpful and the hotel reservations department. We had our taste testing and the chef worked with us since our daughter had celiac disease and everything had to be gluten-free menu. The chef was so nice and came out to meet with Katie and Michael and all the selections were gluten-free. This wedding was so wonderful the food was excellant we still have people telling us they had never been to a reception where the food was good and we had chicken and it wasn't dry so moist. Christina during the day made sure everything was set-up and when her shift was over the night banquet manager was excellant. The whole hotel from the check-in, bell-men, bartenders just everyone was super nice. As mother of the bride I had ripped my lining inside my dress before leaving for the church and the conceirge person pulled out a needle and thread and sewed up my dress. Katie and Michael went on their honeymoon to Cancun and stayed at the Omni Resort there. When arriving the chef there had been contacted about Katie needing a gluten-free menu so he worked with her to make sure she had that the whole time there. If not for Christina and her wonderful staff making sure everything went well I can't express how much that meant to our family. Thank you Christina and the hotel for making sure it was a Night To Remember. Thank you Dianne

    Christina and her wonderful team who helped made our wedding more than I can ever imagine. Thank you for taking the time to listen our concerns about making our menu all gluten free. Everyone who we talked to throughout our wedding planning process was very helpful and accommodating to our needs. I'm so glad we chose Omni Mandalay Hotel Las Colinas. I had a great time working with you throughout our entire wedding planning!

    The Omni Mandalay is a beautiful location and the staff are so helpful and accommodating! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed and made sure all my guests were taken care of. The rooms are beautiful and very reasonably priced!!!

    Beautiful! This hotel smells of fresh flowers from the minute you walk into the lobby. I fell in love with their outside garden area for our ceremony, and then when it rained on our wedding day, they took amazing care of us put us in a gorgeous ballroom for our ceremony. We looked at a lot of different venues, most of them had beautiful outdoor venues, but their indoor back-ups didn't wow us. The OMNI Mandalay is a beautiful hotel inside and out. And to top it off, we had a lot of out of town guests and they took very good care of them. Our guests told us on multiple occasions what a great hotel it was and how nice and accommodating all of the emcees were. To top things off, Christina the catering manager was always on top of things! She consistently replied to all of my emails and phone calls throughout the planning process and was there for every step the day of to make sure the day was perfect. I highly recommend booking the OMNI for your wedding!

    Usually you dream about something and it turns out almost as perfect as you hoped for. But with Hailey Estes and the Omni team, it far surpassed all hopes! My wedding at Omni Mandalay at Las Colinas was truly everything I had ever imagined it to be and more. Which says a lot, because just two months before my wedding I was devastated to find out that my date at Omni Park West had been double-booked, the last thing a bride wants to hear. However, things were quickly adjusted and we were moved to a beautiful ballroom at Omni Mandalay, all under the wing of Hailey.

    She is incredible, by the way! From responding immediately to my emails (which were coming daily as the wedding drew closer) to setting up the reception exactly as I had wished for - she truly was the biggest blessing we could have had. She coordinated with all my vendors, keep the night flowing smoothly and even cut straws for our signature cocktail! Despite the fear of changing venues, Omni delivered as promised, making the day magnificent. If I had to do it all over again, I couldn't have chosen a better, more romantic, beautiful place!

    To make the wedding events even more special, Omni delivered a tray of champagne flutes and chocolate-covered strawberries for each of the ladies at my bridal luncheon at Trevi's (the Italian restaurant within the hotel) and mimosas were delivered in my suite the morning of our wedding - both a total surprise and greatly appreciated!! Beautiful inside and out, this is truly one of the best venues in the Dallas area.

    Jennifer at the Omni was great to work with. Almost everything went smoothly. The only issue we had was that we had to request the set-up of the tables in the hospitality room a couple of times. Everyone at the hotel could not have been more helpful. They bent over backwards to make the whole event special for us. The venue was perfect and the food was amazing. One friend went to a wedding a week before and said our food was far superior to the other wedding. We would definitely recommend the Omni.

    From our first meeting, the Wedding Catering Manager, Jennifer Cline, and the entire staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. There were many options which Jennifer took the time to explain carefully. I enjoyed meeting the chef for the food tasting and was very pleased with the food choices. Jennifer took care of all the details based on our conversations. Our reception was beyond our wildest dreams! I highly recommend the Omni for your special day.

    We had well over 50 out of town guests--some of whom had special needs. Everyone was so impressed by the hospitality, courtesy, and professionalism shown by the hotel staff. All the guests were truly welcomed. Our guests enjoyed themselves during their entire stay at the Omni, which was an important consideration for us.

    The magic began for me when I first walked into the beautiful flower-filled entrance to the hotel. I loved the atmosphere of the hotel and knew this was where I wanted our out of town guests to relax and enjoy themselves for the weekend they were in Dallas. The Omni is relaxing, spacious, and comfortable. The lobby is filled with greenery and a fountain and has many wonderful areas for pictures. There are also picturesque lawns outside for photos as well. The Mandalay Ballroom was a gorgeous setting for our 300+ guests who enjoyed their hand-passed hors d'oeuvres, seated dinner, and dancing. Four months later our guests are still raving about that special night. Even the children and teenagers had a great time!

    My husband and I stayed here for our wedding night. Our suite was fantastic and so romantic. An added perk was the turn down service and rose! The hotel and our room were clean and quiet!
    An extra perk for my husband - THe next morning was the implosion of the old Cowboys Stadium and we had the perfect view from our room. The hotel staff was so polite and gracious to us. We now recommend this hotel to our guests who choose to visit us in the DFW area! It's fantastic!

    My wife and I stayed at this hotel for our wedding night. They were amazing! Everything we were promised and then some! Stay here for a night of romance and quality time with your spouse. I promise the room was spectacular!

    The management, catering staff and pastry chef were a pleasure to work with. They made our ceremony and reception beautiful. The food was delicious as were the bride's and groom's cakes. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to wow their guests.

    I was planning to have the ceremony outside in the courtyard, but it rained that day. However; the staff planned quickly to get to the back up room and still had a fantastic wedding of my life!

    Jennifer at the Omni Mandalay was a pleasure to work with. She took the time to understand my needs and the needs of my Indian culture and did a fantastic job coordinating the events. We had an outdoor cocktail with the reception in the Las Colinas Ballroom. She was very responsive to emails which is so important to me. All my guests thought the food tasted great! I appreciated the hotels opinions on helping me make the wedding a great day. Highly recommend!

    The venue was beautiful. Our guest loved it. Some may consider it a bit pricey, but was cheaper than just about every other 4 star hotel. I would recommend this place to others.

    Jennifer Cline, social catering manager at Omni, was ideal to work with. She has organized several Indian weddings and knew the workflow pretty well. Although there are several restrictions at the Omni (outside catering, food, music, etc), we were able to work things out and come to reasonable compromises with Jennifer. She has a great eye for attention to detail and has a lot of energy. She was really great to work with!

    One complaint with Omni is on the day of, the hotel messed up with the rooming and gave us our suites about 2 hours too late which was when our event started and we didn't get our bags delivered to our rooms for a long time as well.

    The Omni Mandalay is a beautiful location. My reception was in the Rhapsody room, just off of the canal. The food was great, and the service the night-of was unbelievable. They had so many people working our reception; I was pleasantly surprised. My one complaint is the planning process. The menu prices seemed to flucuate from one meeting with the coordinator to another, and I had gone into the reception expecting one thing, and then that not being the case. If you have the time, patience and money to be flexible, this is the place for you. Otherwise, be prepared for some difficulty with planning your menu, etc.

    Stressful venue.

    We recently got married this September, and I have to say we look back and wish we had booked at a different location. We looked at many options, and liked the look of the ballroom and although the price tag was not necessarily a bargain they accommodated our guest count of 400. Without writing an essay, I'd like to highlight the main disappointments we had in communication and service on the day of our wedding

    1- The venue coordinator that Omni provided was pleasant, however she suddenly left a few months before the wedding without a heads up. We had to re discuss all the specifics of our wedding again, as by that time we had our tasting and many detailed discussions with our coordinator . We suddenly received an email one day our coordinator had changed and we had to reach out to make contact with the newly assigned one a few months before the wedding.
    2- the ballroom is pretty, however the bathroom had some unwelcome guests (aka bugs) that we noticed when we visited the Omni at our tasting. We promptly asked them to make sure to clean the bathroom areas so no bugs, roaches would be encountered especially on our wedding day.
    3- Add-on charges. So many add ons, for instance we were told they would charge us for gift bags for our guests (which is ridiculous, our guests occupied more than 25 rooms at the omni itself on our wedding weekend). They would not waive any fees.
    4- Service-on our actual wedding day, our appetizer hour was scheduled to start at 530 however it was delayed (I arrived and noticed the whole foyer outside the ballroom was still being set up). Our guests were waiting to even enter after arriving. No reason given why. On top of that, we were told by guests that they did not get cake as it had run out. We definitely had enough slices for each and every guest, so no clue why they did not keep those slices out there or provide enough for our guests. I was highly disappointed by this. The Omni does not prepare many Indian dishes well (as their own chef states) so you will have to cater outside if you want good Indian food and pay a per head charge.
    5- Parking-Our guests were supposed to have free self park but were not able to find adequate parking and some had to go across the street (in the rain).

    Overall, if you have a reasonable budget and want more flexibility and food options for your guests, try to check out one of the other las colinas venues or spend the $$ on cool locations like Union Tower. While our wedding day was spectacular for us, I can't help but wish planning the process with the Omni was more enjoyable.

    3 months later I have a $500 charge on my card after they have already ruined what was supposed to be the best day of my life!!! BRIDES STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

    Rooms got all charged to my card even though I emphasized cc on file only to hold rooms. After cc went negative they did not let ME check in. Had to pay cash for my room and changed it from two nights to only one. Next day before hair and makeup around 10am I moved my items to my moms room and went down to check out. Left hotel at 2 for wedding in the mean time my dad and brothers made another reservation for my now husband and set up as a honeymoon suite with late checkout. Brothers Arrived hotel around 2am after wedding only to realize the room set up to a honeymoon suite was theirs and my mom. I arrive shortly after to my brother still at the front desk freaking out bc bride and groom did not have a room. Shortly after they were able to "find us a room" just a standard king (only room my dad authorized to his card) next morning after getting woken up by housekeeping asking us to leave bc we did not have a late check out I look and have 2 calls one from my mom and one from my dad. My mom was being refused the right to go back to her room for my bouquet and she wanted to make sure I went up before checking out. Dad asking me to check the night rate bc he was charged over $600 to his cc. We rushed to check out and asked for them to bring down the bouquet and we would pick up after our brunch. Went back to hotel later that night to pick up my Bouquet only to find out that not one of the 4 people asked to bring bouquet down remembered and it was probably already thrown away. I asked the to please look in the trash since it was a $600 bouquet plus jewels that were left behind to me by my grandma, great grandma and god mother. They asked for my moms number since I was leaving for honeymoon and we are yet to receive a call.
