Beautiful photos and video! My photographer and videographer were professional, trained, and held excellent ideas for creative shots that I will eternally treasure. They captured the special moments so well. I would definitely recommend them! -

I decided Thomas for our wedding photography. They made the whole procedure simple. We had a few phone conferences to address the details of the wedding and what I required in my videos and also sent me a poll to fill out. The day of the wedding they were EXCELLENT! I rarely even knew they were there and the crew was kind and expert. Their rates are amazing compared to other vendors out there without sacrificing quality. -

My husband including me are very nervous people but one thing we knew for sure was that we required Lenny with his team to take our wedding pictures. They were the first vendor we booked which was the best choice! Their work delivers for itself- all of their work is completely superb. Lenny and Don are the winsome peoples secured us feel so happy being ourselves since the first day we stepped into their office. Lenny customized our package. Where we were able to have an engagement photo shoot before the marriage this really helped us get more comfortable having our photographs taken. They had us smiling the entire time! Our characters were captured in every picture, from the engagement shoot to the wedding pictures every shot was special and creative. Lenny works with you and is in constant communication we received our proofs just days after the engagement shoot and wedding! A week before the wedding, we created a plan for the wedding day where Lenny really helped us out every moment. Even after changing our ideas very last minute the whole team was so patient also supporting! I am so delighted to see what else they do toward our photos plus video. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you, Lenny and the entire team for making our day so fun and great, and helping us create memories that will last a lifetime. -

Danny photographed our wedding, and my husband and I agree that it was one of the best choices we ever made for wedding photography. Danny did such excellent work and definitely beat my expectations. He made sure to capture all shot I demanded and even ones I didn't understand I needed. The concluding photos were pretty a charming mix of classical and fair pictures. He did an excellent job of capturing the circumstances and the great picture. I recommend Danny to anyone. -

From the beginning, Lenny was absolutely amazing! She was our head photographer and Don was another member. They were early to set up and spot out the perfect locations. Both spent time discussing with me what I really required and wanted to bypass. They made sure to stay within my timeline limits following the flow of my wedding working well. I would highly recommend Moo Jae to anyone interested in making their wedding day one of the best photographed days of their life. Very friendly, approachable, and flexible with us. I was especially impressed with their ability to manage the family and friends well. I know finding the right wedding photographer can be a tremendously daunting task but not once did we regret our decision to hire them. My finace and I used Olli Studio for our engagement session and wedding last year. Don was our photographer for the engagement shoot and it seems like they brought out the entire team for the wedding! The photos came out absolutely stunning and Don was very patient with us (we don't exactly practice posing for pics all day in the mirror!). We just received the preview for our wedding video and I actually cried when I saw it. While it is a very emotional day, the Olli team just put it together with such finesse that you can't help but be touched by it. Oddly enough, my finance actually chose the team and we couldn't be happier with the end result. Fun fact - I didn't think the video was worth the extra $$$ (it is a bit costly), but I am so happy we chose to have it. -

My husband and I booked our wedding with Olli Studio after a recommendation from a close friend. We could not have been given better advice for choosing such an incredibly talented and professional photography and videography company. We started out by meeting with Don and Moo in their chic NYC studio to discuss our visions for the wedding, tell them about ourselves and how we met, and hear all about what they had to offer. We were quickly convinced that we were choosing a great company and booked with them. We next had our engagement shoot in Hoboken, NJ, where our pictures came out absolutely beautiful! Don made us feel at ease and created a comfortable and enjoyable environment throughout our entire picture session. Next was our wedding day at The Park Savoy Estate in Florham Park, NJ, and it was everything I dreamed of and more!! Don, Moo and their team of photographers and videographers are truly incredible. They worked with a huge wedding party of 10 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen and made the whole picture taking process stress free. They were able to capture candid moments throughout the entire night and made sure everyone I wanted pictures with was accounted for. The Same Day Edit video played at the end of our wedding was absolutely AMAZING!!! I've had numerous friends and family members tell me how impressed they were with the video and how it's the greatest Same Day Edit they've ever seen. We were completely blown away and CANNOT wait to see all of our wedding pictures and final wedding video! Thank you Don, Moo and all of Olli Studio for your terrific work! -

Don and Olli Studio are fantastic team. We just had our engagement shoot with Don a little over a month ago and we couldn't have been more happier with how our photos came out. He captured our love story through our location, detail, smile, laugh, hug and kiss. He made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera, which made everything easier for us. We booked Olli Studio after a friend recommended their photography and videography services to us. We were impressed by their pricing and quality of work. We booked them for our engagement photoshoot and wedding. Our engagement pictures came out great! They came out exactly as what you see on their website. Don Hwang was our photographer. We used Olli Studio for our videography in November 2015, and they were the best. My husband and I found them at a bridal show and instantly fell in love with their cinematography style. From the start Moo was professional and helpful, he always answered my emails in a timely matter and all questions. We recently received our video which only took 4 1/2 months (usually is 6) and it is AMAZING!! We couldn't be happier with the final product. I highly recommend using Olli Studio for video and photobooth. If you book with them, they give you awesome deals on the photobooth. -

Olli Studio's entire process was relaxed, fun and professional. They had so many options and amenities available to meet your budget. The photographer Daniel was so cool. Our wedding was a month ago and Olli was the best vendor we worked with. From the beginning of our wedding planning to after our wedding, Moo and Don were super responsive, professional, and friendly. We chose Olli because the quality of their videography and photography was far beyond another other vendor we researched. We were particularly impressed by their videography - they edit wedding films to tell a story like a mini movie. We ended up getting a package from them that included engagement shoot, wedding photography and videography, and photobooth. On the wedding day, their team met us at the hotel and was with us all throughout the day - from getting ready to our first look, to our photoshoot around NYC, and finally at the venue. During reception, they even surprised us with a same day edit of some photos from earlier in the day. The photos looked amazing and we received so many compliments from our guests on the photos. Our bridal party was equally impressed by their team's professionalism through the day. We would recommend them to any bride and groom without hesitation. Thank you Olli Studio! -

We sourced and met with over a dozen studios and from our very first email correspondence with Moo, our wedding coordinator - I was impressed. As an event planner, I work with so many vendors and I wish all of them were are professional, flexible, honest and communicative as they were. From the start to the end of our wedding day we had 7 different locations and even as we approached the end of the night, they were still high energy. Our photographers Lenny and his assistant and Dom our videographer, became extensions of our bridal party and just fantastic. I felt captured every moment that I had on my shot list and even more that I never could have planned for because they are all true pros. Do not skimp on the videography! It's worth every penny. Moo customize the perfect package that fit our budget and helped build out an element that we couldn't afford into our registry! It was the first gift to be bought up :) At the end of the day, all you have are the images that they capture and if I had to do it over - I wouldn't change a thing. My husband and I looooved this team! What a great experience with the photographers and videographer! We felt they're passion for what they were doing and it was such a pleasure to work with them. The photographer in my home was so helpful during the process, when things started getting hectic for me he, very kindly, reminded me that it was also a special day for my mother as well . I was sooo thankful for that moment because he placed everything in perspective for me! And the rest of the day was a success! My husband said the photographer in his house was low-key and discreet, and I agreed that throughout the entire event she was pleasantly and exceptionally lovely! The videographer was exceptional! We hired Olli Studio for our photographs and Don was amazing! The photographs turned out beautifully, but Don was also super nice and professional. He knew exactly how to direct us all for the posed photographs so it was quick and easy and didn't become an ordeal even though it was a really cold day. During the ceremony and reception he was completely non-intrusive but still got some great shots. Both the posed and candid photos came out so well without being cheesy and he took a lot of unconventional shots that are more fine-art than wedding which we love! The craziest thing was that it turned out Don also shot my makeup artist's wedding, so it was kismet! Overall, our experience with Olli Studio was outstanding! -

I can't say enough good things about Moo Jae and Olli Studios. They made my wedding possible. They were extremely responsive to what I needed, they worked within my budget and they were super easy to work with. I had a three day night time wedding with a LOT going on (burlesque, fire spinners, carnies, and over 200 people) and they captured our day(s) perfectly with only one videographer and one photographer (since we didn't have the money to hire more people). It was actually quite amazing that they were able to do that with a skeleton crew and to have resulted in such beautiful action shots to boot. Olli studios are really a great duo. Both Don and Moo are great in what they do. Moo is one of the best in terms of work for videography. I researched many vendors and not many came close to his work especially for his rates. Also they affordable pricing. I hired these guys as my wedding photographers and my experience was fantastic. Even on a not so perfect day, the pictures were amazing. The style of photos were very photo journalistic-esque which made our photos come out with a sort of a theme to it. The staff was very friendly and helpful even on such a hectic day and I'm very glad I decided to use their services. I've seen other wedding photos from other photographers before and while some were subpar these guys might be the best nyc wedding photographers in my view. -

I had a great time with the folks at Olli Studio. My sister recommended them to me and I must say that I can't thank her any less. There are thousands of people out here in our big city who click good pictures at weddings, but Olli Studio has the best Wedding Photographer in NYC. Oh yeah, they just showed me the teaser of my wedding film and I was blown away, it was like my own Hollywood movie. My husband critically acclaimed the cinematography and lighting especially.

I was lucky enough to win an engagement photo shoot from Olli Studio while I attended a bridal show. We had our pictures taken at Central Park. Our photographer brought us to so many different locations in the park and captured so many beautiful areas with different lighting! He was so patient with us and gave us great guidance at first on how to pose until we became more comfortable. We received the photos 3 weeks after the shoot and we absolutely love them! They look so natural! He must have been shooting at all times because he really captured our personalities and moments that happened between some posed shots. They sent us a CD will the images along with a link to an online gallery! Their work is beautiful and I would recommend them to anyone! -

Finding the perfect photographer for your wedding is almost as important as finding the perfect dress. Pictures of your wedding are something you will keep close to your heart, and chances are, you’ll have them forever. If you have bad pictures, it taints the entire day in a way. I used Olli Studios Photography services for my wedding in April. What a fantastic experience! It took me several months to find the right photographer; I didn’t want to make the wrong choice. When I called up Olli Studios for more information, they were extremely pleasant, thorough, and helpful. They made me feel comfortable, and I was confident that they’d do a great job at my wedding. The photographer showed up on time with no problem. He also was not intrusive at all, like some other photographers I’ve seen at other weddings. He kept his distance during the reception, and still took such beautiful pictures that I’ll have forever. Thank you Olli Studios, I highly recommend! -

We had a great experience with Olli Studios shooting out engagement photos! The photographer, Don, took beautiful pictures and was a pleasure to work with. We walked around Central Park and used all of the different backgrounds (lake, bridge, architecture, benches, etc...) Don would make suggestions and if there was something specific we wanted, he was more than happy to oblige! Thanks for the great pictures! Can't wait to share with our friends and family! -

Very professional, easy going, talented, and cool guy. Moo Jae & his staff were absolutely amazing! Take our bridal pictures very beautifully. Our event was blockbuster everyone was always on the photo booth. It was absolutely perfect decision to hire Moo Jae and his team for my event. -

We found Olli Studio through Wedding Wire, both my fiancé and I both sat down and took a look at their photos and cinematography and feel in love. We had looked around and talked with other vendors but none of them felt right or fit our budget. We began talking to Olli studio and told them what we were looking for and that we were planning remotely. Moo set up a meeting with us via Skype and pretty much discussed everything with us and we were sold! Despite planning across the country (got married in NYC and live in California) Moo had an easy process, he replied to emails pretty quickly and promptly answered any questions we had.
We really cannot thank Don and Moo enough! We were very impressed after our engagement session and even more impressed after shooting our wedding. All of our guests complimented on their professional they were and there were times were we forgot they were even there. We appreciated how they were not in your face with the flash going off every few seconds. We did get a preview of some of our photos and I am still gushing over them! Cannot wait until we get all of our pictures! They capture the moment so beautifully and our teaser trailer was to die for! The photobooth was also a hit at our wedding, very minimalist and our guests love the props they brought. We will be recommending them to every engaged couple we know! -

Great pictures! Wonderful memories! Don and Fernando did a great job at my June 2015 wedding. We previously scheduled an engagement session with Don before the wedding and loved the pics. From the very beginning Don (photographer) helped answer all of my questions and concerns as a first-time bride. Don was very accommodating when I had last minute changes of required shots and timeline didn't blink an eye when it started to drizzle during the cocktail hour. He and Fernando (assistant photogropher) captured every moment. Bonus! Fernando even helped carry my wife's my train so it would not touch the wet dirt in our garden shots. Thank you both for capturing our special day! Highly recommend! We received our pictures within 6 weeks and couldn't be happier. The pictures were exceptional, everyone has been raving about the quality of the pictures! -

I'm so glad that we went with Don and his team to photograph (and record) or wedding! My family couldn't stop raving about how professional and together they all were. They made the day go by so much more smoothly (one of the assistants even pinned on the boys' boutonnieres). The photos look fantastic, and I can't wait to see how the video turns out! -

Olli team was great to work with. They were fair in their pricing and they do great work. Don was our main photographer and he was a lot of fun to work with. He made us laugh throughout our whole engagement shoot and was very accommodating with our not-so-cooperative puppy! We added the photo booth which was a great hit with everyone...especially the kiddies! They also offer video service - they do awesome work but, sadly, we could not include in our budget.
Don and the rest of the Olli team captured our wedding day beautifully and we look forward to working with them to finish our album. -

We booked two photographers and two videographers for 10 hours for our wedding last year. It has taken nearly a year to write this review because whenever I think of our wedding photos and wedding video, I feel either sad or angry. While I remember us putting together a shot list, I don’t remember Olli asking for it, and in the whirlwind of the day so many photos were missed. But more than that, there were many photos that were out of focus, likely due to using a lens with a very shallow depth of field (including our table shots, which due to the shot list miscommunication were the only photos of several guests). There were also a number of photos that were not uploaded into the initial gallery. We recalled taking them and had to send detailed descriptions of the photos in order to get them added to the gallery. To this day we do not know if there were more “missing” photos that were actually taken but that were not uploaded because we didn’t describe them properly.
Getting our wedding video produced was even more frustrating. We contracted for an 7-10 minute film, and were told it would be ready 3 months after our wedding. After four and a half months we received a video that was approximately half the contracted length, and within that video the same footage was used multiple times. When we reviewed the raw footage we were disappointed to see how little material there was (maybe 2 hours of content), considering we paid for two videographers for 10 hours. Our edited video was ultimately delivered 7 months after our wedding.
While we got some lovely photos, we would use a different company if we had a do-over. We went over budget to get “full coverage” on both video and photo, and yet so much was missing from the final product. Things might have worked out better if we had hired a wedding coordinator who could have watched our shot list and wrangled our guests for photos, but that would be an incomplete fix given the out of focus group shots. -

Let me start by saying the team of photographers and videographers were great on our wedding day - very friendly and fun to be around and we enjoyed the photos we received. The videos we’ve gotten have also been really wonderful for what is there, but disappointingly incomplete and it’s been incredibly frustrating trying to figure out what’s going on. In an attempt to be entirely fair, I have waited several weeks through attempting to resolve this before posting a review.
We selected a package that included, among other things, a “60-90 minute doc edit” video of our ceremony and reception, and were first provided with a ~7 minute ceremony film (our ceremony was short, so this wasn’t surprising) and a ~5.5 minute reception film. I asked if we’d get a longer version that included our wedding speeches and other things and was told that this was “the 60-90 minute doc edit” - without any acknowledgment of the fact that it was less than a quarter of the lower end of that. After several follow up messages, I finally received a new version that put these two together and added a few more minutes of footage, for a total of about 20 minutes. I asked again if they could at least include the 4 reception speeches, and following several follow-up emails and continued evasive responses, I was told that the videographers didn’t record our speeches because they were told to go eat. (TBF: at this point they offered a free album, but it didn't feel like much consolation). They had footage from some of the speeches in the other film, so we know it’s not entirely accurate (and not sure why they’re so insistent that this 20 minutes is “all usable footage”) and are heartbroken that they missed the others. We gave a list and didn’t go off plan with the venue coordinator/my wedding coordinator, so have a hard time understanding how this would’ve happened, particularly since we had two videographers. But the unhelpful, incomplete and evasive responses have only made this worse. -

The long video about 1.5 hrs was horrible and looked like it had been done by an amateur. Video would cut in and out. He would jump from clip to clip. Several occasions during the wedding the staff would be sitting around and not even getting any video shots during the wedding. The short films was better than the long film but we requested some edits and we got married 18 months ago and still waiting on those edits. Ask to see a full video prior to signing with Olli studios as the long film is a majority of the costs. -

Regret going with olli studio
I cannot even begin to write the horrific experience we had with Olli Studio, in particular the owner (Moo) of this business. I really wanted to like him and his business because I saw the quality from other videos. However, my experience was entirely different and I am still recovering from the trauma I've experienced from dealing with this unprofessional vendor. First of all, Moo did not show up at our wedding even when he was supposed to be our videographer. Rather, he sent someone else who we have never spoken with before. Then when we received the first draft of the trailer and the feature film (longer version), they were subpar -- the footage was all over the place, there was no "story" to the film, and there were glitches. In fact, there were a few shots where you can see the videographer himself in the mirror when he's shooting us! Then he was extremely slow to respond or did not respond at all when we requested edits to these areas. Even after 8 months, he did not respond to us with his edits, and I had to email him every few months to check in. At last, 8 months later, we did receive a footage that was good enough and we decided to put an end to this whole fiasco, even though they did not make a number of edits that we requested. All in all, with respect to responsiveness, professionalism, meeting of expectations, and the quality of the deliverables, I cannot in good conscience recommend this vendor. -
