  My husband and I got engaged at Olive and June in July 2013, so we of course had to have our Rehearsal Dinner there! Brooke, the events coordinator, helped us plan our dinner, and made everything very easy on us. Planning the dinner was one of the least stressful parts of wedding planning, because Brooke was so helpful. During the dinner, our waiter Justin was very helpful and accommodating for our large party. The meal went off without a hitch, and everyone enjoyed the menu and the atmosphere. We love Olive & June and will be back many times through the years.

  My husband and I got engaged at Olive and June in July 2013, so we of course had to have our Rehearsal Dinner there!   We loved having our wedding here. The staff were very good and accommodating. Their main event person Amanda is awesome and she made sure everything was set up perfectly for our day. We had planned to be on the 3rd floor patio but it ended up being too cold and they moved us to the 1st floor heated tent for no additional charge. That really made our wedding wonderful. Amanda did a great job of communicating with me before, during and after the event. The food was amazing and all our guests talked about how good it was. The ambiance was perfect. We had a great time and highly recommend Olive and June for your wedding!

  We held our son and now daughter-in-law rehearsal dinner and everyone enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. We had 75 people at this event with an open bar and food served family style. The food was wonderful and consistent with the quality served in the main dining room. The staff was very attentive to everyone and kept me informed of the bar bill as the evening progressed. As an example of great service, before dinner was served, one guest needed to eat something more in order to take some medication. They were able to help him with no problem. Little items like that made for a great evening for all.

  We enjoyed a wonderful rehearsal dinner at Olive & June for 41 people, including 8 children. The event coordinator did a great job of helping us plan the menu, including cocktail & wine selections. She guided us through the process pleasantly and professionally. On the night of the dinner, the service was flawless, and the staff was very attentive to our schedule and the needs of our guests. It set a very celebratory mood for the weekend of the wedding and we were so pleased with the result. I'd definitely recommend this venue to others.

  My (now) husband and I booked Olive & June for a rehearsal dinner on the evening before our wedding. Brooke was so amazing to work with. She was flexible and understanding (even with a tricky dietary request). The staff on the evening of the event were so helpful. They constantly checked in with us to make sure everything was going as we wanted it to. On top of it all, the 3rd floor is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT in every way for a party. The beautiful oak tree and the white lights were gorgeous and created the most amazing atmosphere. The only decor we brought in were flowers (and I know they also offer that service). We will definitely use them again for other events down the road.

  We booked Olive & June for our rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. The event planner was extremely responsive, creative and a pleasure to work with. The venue is beautiful (we had the private room upstairs) that was decorated with candles and made very intimate. The staff was amazing and very flexible when we ran into a few timing issues on our part with family arriving later. The food was great as well. this is probably the best option in the city that is priced well for the type of venue, service and quality of food you receive. Would highly recommend, we really enjoyed our experience and so did everyone else in our party!!!

  I can't give anything but rave reviews! Brooke, the event manager, was amazing to work with, she always answered my questions and emails promptly which for a crazy bride was so important. Very professional and beautiful, many of our guests really felt like the venue was special and asked us how we found such a great location…Thanks for making my (our) wedding dreams come true!

  My husband and I had our wedding at Olive & June this past October. We had a wonderful experience from the day we decided to use Olive & June as our venue till the day of the actual event. Olive & June was BEAUTIFUL, plus the food was out of this world. I loved having our wedding at the same location that we had the reception ... it was so easy to plan and the food was spectacular!! Brooke Greer was our event coordinator and she couldn't have been more responsive and helpful. She put me at ease about everything. I love Olive & June and can't wait to go back for special occasions in the future!

  Olive and June is amazing and Brooke is a rock star! I've never met such a responsive and helpful event manager for any kind of venue. She answered questions quickly and with clarity. She went the extra mile to ensure we were satisfied and confident with our choices. Her vendor recommendations were spot on too.   My husband and I held our wedding reception here after eloping prior to his deployment. While he was deployed, I planned most of the event by myself and Brooke made the whole process a stress free breeze.
  
  From the initial email, she was polite, accommodating and willing to work with our budget. She showed me the space, went over the menu and helped coordinate details. I took my mother to dinner there on her visit into town and Brooke and the manager were polite enough to send us samples of dishes we were considering for our event so I could make deliciously informed decisions. I think picking the menu was the hardest part because it was all so good.
  
  In addition, the lighting around the space is amazing. When you first arrive the restaurant, is has a great secret garden feel. Then as the sun sets, the lights strung around the restaurant and in the tree light up and create an amazing romantic feel.
  
  The day of the event the Olive & June staff was amazing. Graham and his team were fantastic all around. They made sure everything went smoothly regarding food, bar and tables. During passed appetizers, the servers made a point to stop and offer appetizers to my husband and I, which was nice since we were busy talking to people. We had more people RSVP than expected so they even helped make sure the indoor space transitioned smoothly into a dance floor by discreetly moving tables out of the way.
  
  During the party, everyone raved about the food and how amazing it was. At so many weddings, you get the standard chicken and veggies that are blah. At Olive & June, we were able to have an outstanding meal that more than satisfied everyone between the passed appetizers, caprese salad, pasta, roasted green beans and chocolate mousse.
  
  I highly recommend having an event at Olive & June or at the very least going their for dinner! I have extremely happy with my overall experience and look forward to going back to eat again and again!

The fans on the patio took care of the heat and the a/c area inside took care of any of the older guests.   We had 100 people at our engagement party and Olive & June was able to accommodate us perfectly on the 3rd floor. The food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance really made everyone's night special. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

  I couldn't have asked for more. We hosted our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at Olive & June and absolutely loved it! Our families do not live in Austin, they they traveled from all over the country for the wedding. We thought Olive & June was the perfect way to show them Austin. They were able to have dinner prepared by a famous Austin chef and enjoy it upstairs under the awesome oak tree! Our families loved it and we thought the service was nothing less than world class. It was very apparent that the waitstaff new who the bride, groom, and parents were. They checked in with us periodically to ensure we were having a great time. Our head waiter, Graham and the event coordinator, Brooke ensured everything was perfect. And the food was awesome!!! I can't say it enough but we couldn't have asked for more. And it definitely beats going to a chain restaurant!! I'd much rather show my guests a place with local flare!

  We had a Bridesmaid's luncheon at Olive and June. It was absolutely fantastic! Brooke Greer, the events manager, worked diligently with us to find the perfect menu for a group of picky women. Everything was fabulous. We asked for a specialty drink to be served during a short cocktail period before the luncheon and they were the best the bride had ever had! The service was fantastic, the food was fantastic, and the venue was fantastic! And the best part was that the bride was over the moon happy with the luncheon!

  Olive & June has been my favorite restaurant for some time and having the opportunity to have my wedding there made it all the more special. The third floor event space is nestled in the branches of an ancient live oak tree creating the perfect intimate space. The staff was so kind and accommodating. The event manager was flexible and willing to work with me on all my crazy requests... they even ordered in products they don't usually carry to accomodate me.
  
  Having worked in the food & beverage industry for over a decade it was important to me that the dinner be amazing and it was. So incredible- truly... it was everything I hoped for and more.
  

  Olive & June has been my favorite restaurant for some time and having the opportunity to have my wedding there made it all the more special. The third floor event space is nestled in the branches of an ancient live oak tree creating the perfect intimate space. The staff was so kind and accommodating. The event manager was flexible and willing to work with me on all my crazy requests... they even ordered in products they don't usually carry to accomodate me.
  
  Having worked in the food & beverage industry for over a decade it was important to me that the dinner be amazing and it was. So incredible- truly... it was everything I hoped for and more.

  I had my wedding reception at olive & june on December 31st, 2012. I wanted to have my reception at a restaurant because it was a lot easier to have the caterer, venue space, no table/chair rental, etc all in the same place. The event coordinator was Brooke Greer and she was such a big help as I was planning my reception. My now husband and I came to see the restaurant about a month before the big day and Brooke met us and answered all our questions and lots of helpful suggestions as well. The special event space is on the third floor which can play different overhead music than what is playing in the rest of the restaurant. We did not have a DJ and instead used an ipod with a wedding playlist my husband had made and their sound system sounds great! The food is amazing, the prices are what you might expect from a nice restaurant but very reasonable. The service was great as well. Brooke and I corresponded mostly via email which is convenient for me when I'm at work and she always was quick to reply. I emailed her the seating chart and other instructions and dropped off a bunch of decorations the night before the wedding. When we showed up at the reception everything was set up exactly like I wanted it. This space and restaurant is beautiful and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it for a reception venue!

  Olive & June is a wonderful place to get married! The large Oak tree and versatile indoor/outdoor space makes for a comfortable and beautiful setting no matter the time of year. All of our guests raved about the food and the service was exceptional. We had our reception on the third floor and we were able to comfortably seat 100 people. When it came time to start the dancing I didn't even notice when the indoor tables were moved to make room. Brooke, the event coordinator, worked with our vendors and I didn't have to worry once about coordination or details. Everything was flawless and nearly 8 months later friends are STILL talking about the food from our wedding! I highly recommend booking your event here - in fact we joke about having a 5year anniversary party here since it was so much fun!

  We had our engagement party here and it was AMAZING! We had about 50 guests. They give you the entire third floor with your own bartender. Brooke, the event coordinator, was very responsive. I had a million questions and she would get back to me very quickly. Austin worked our party and he was great. He even helped us decorate before the guests showed up. It was beautiful, the food was great, and everyone complimented us on the venue. I highly recommend Olive and June for a private party.
