We cannot thank Lara, Kia and the Old North team enough! It was such a joy to meet and work with them. They made everything easy in what could have been a stressful time. We met with Lara a week before the wedding to describe what events from the day we would like to have captured and outlined the timeline for the day. Lara and Kia were a part of our entire wedding day from getting ready to the opening of the dance floor, and it was worth every penny. They created the most beautiful wedding video, and perfectly captured every part of our wedding day! The edits for our short film were perfect and included every important part and person from our wedding day. We feel so lucky to have worked with the Old North team.

John & Matt beautifully captured our big day!
We chose Old North for our wedding this summer. At first, we were on the fence about hiring a videographer at all. But John and Matt did such an incredible job with our special day, we cannot imagine missing out on all the beautiful moments- especially the speeches and dances with our family and friends.
When we received the final video, we were able to relive our wedding from a new perspective. It felt like our wedding day went by so fast, it was wonderful to have a beautifully edited video that captured things so well.
And it wasn't just John & Matt that did an amazing job, the video editing team, and other folks coordinating the project behind-the-scenes were very detail-oriented and kept us in the loop. Thank you, Old North!!

Get the video. Work with Old North Film. You won't regret it!
We loved working with Old North Film! When we started wedding planning we were on the fence about getting a video, but we are so happy that we did! The team on the ground was amazing and really made sure that the day flowed naturally. When it was time for them to leave at the end of the night we wanted them to stay for the rest of the party! We adore our final product, and can’t stop watching it because it is edited so beautifully. For those on the fence, do it and work with Old North - you won’t regret it!

We could not have asked for better people to spend our wedding day with than Jesse and John - they were prompt, brought great energy & captured the true vibe of the day without anything feeling forced. Old North Film Company was incredible... we worked with Caleb and Matt and they were both so kind, helpful, insightful, and DEDICATED! Matt was working all the angles, I felt like I was on the set of a James Cameron Film. They were also great team players... I have heard (and seen) horror stories of photographers and videographers who haven't worked together before, not collaborating well the day of. Matt was incredibly respectful to our photographer and truly did collaborate with her to make sure we got everything on our wish list.
I cannot recommend them enough... PLEASE consider Old North for your perfect day!

Outstanding experience
My husband Charlie and I booked Old North Film Company for our wedding in downtown Chicago in late April of 2022. They were a pleasure to work with and we are blown away by our wedding video!!
Caleb was the lead videographer on our big day - he was super friendly, laid back and had a good sense of humor. He made us both feel comfortable right away. Even when we spoke to him on the phone a few weeks beforehand, we could tell we were in good hands with someone who has creative vision. Also, at our reception we were running behind and our band got started a half hour late - Caleb even stayed later to make sure he captured some of the dancing. What amazing customer service! We can't thank him enough.
We also communicated with Alex and David on some of the logistics stuff - they were easy to work with and made the process as simple as possible.
Finally, the video itself is everything we could have dreamed of and more! My husband and I work in TV so we were really picky about our videographer as we both have training in production/film. The shots were beautiful, well composed, captured the moment, and the editing tied it all together, seamlessly weaving in speeches and music. You need to book Old North Film Company now - you won't be disappointed!

Old North Film Company was recommended to me by my floral and wedding designer. I trusted their opinion, and boy did we hit the jackpot! We were looking for high quality at a reasonable price, and we found that and SO much more with them. They are responsive, they are personable, they take the time to understand what's important to you, they were punctual, very professional, and very kind and light-hearted. They captured EVERY important moment. The finished product is better than anything we could've DREAMED of, and I'm not always the easiest audience! It is so creative, so thoughtful, so special. We still tear up every time we watch our video! I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again and again.

Dream wedding video!!
So happy that I stumbled across this company when searching for a videographer that creates highlight videos. We worked with Alex and she was amazing! Fairy Tale Wedding Captured!
Alex from Old North Film Company was very easy to work with. I initially planned a wedding at a venue and had to unexpectedly change my location to my house. Alex was very flexible, approachable, courteous and did a wonderful job. She promptly finished the video editing and the short film within a few days and made it available for me. It captured all the magical moments. We also used the live ceremony feed option, which my family and friends appreciated and viewed who could not attend. They were very affordable to use as well. We appreciate them making lasting memories for us and making the experience memorable. I highly recommend them!

Our favorite souvenir from our wedding!
We decided at the last minute to add a videographer for our wedding and thank goodness Old North was available.
From the moment we started working with them- they were friendly, easy to work with, and just as excited as we were.
Caleb was our videographer and we loved working with him the day of! He helped us feel natural in front of the camera yet also did not interrupt our day from actually happening. We never felt like we had an overwhelming amount of paparazzi all day :)
When he sent the video, we had no idea what to expect but it blew our expectations out of the water! Not a dry eye in the house. It is our favorite thing to remind us of how the day really FELT rather than just how it looked in pictures.

More Than Expected
When it came to choosing a videographer we were so out of our element. We wanted someone to capture the day exactly how we remembered it. My husband and I are so awkward in front of the camera so we were especially nervous on how our video was going to turn out. FORGET THAT. Lara was amazing. Forever Grateful
We are so lucky to have found Old North Film Company. They worked with us and our very large (26 person) wedding party during 4th of July weekend in Chicago. We had crazy requests and they were all accomplished. (They were so kind to make edits on parts of the feature that I felt I did not look my best) They made us feel extremely comfortable and really felt like we could tell them exactly what we wanted. Our family is obsessed and friends are now wanting to use the same company. I would recommend using them, we did "the feature" package and it was 100% worth it. Side note: My husband is so happy you guys shot him shooting hoops, it made the video!

My husband Kevin and I knew that one of the most important decisions we would make is choosing a videographer to film our big day. I discovered Old North Film Co online. After watching a few of their videos, I knew their team was the right choice for us! The owner Tyler set up a call with me months prior to determine what we were looking for and make sure he understood us as a couple, which I really appreciated. Kevin, our lead videographer, then reached out two or so months before our wedding day. He was thorough, detailed, and very deliberate in running through our day of timeline with us via email and phone call. He and his associate videographer were so easy to work with day of, and so friendly! Our preview and feature films turned out AMAZING and we could not be more grateful to this team, and to Kevin for dedicating his day to capturing ours. A Huge Thanks to Old North & Alex
We hired Old North Company to film our Wedding and Reception early in September 2019, and it was one of the best decisions we made! We were partnered with Alex Oeschel, who was a pure joy to work with. Alex and her team came bright and early in the morning, and filmed our whole day even with her partner. They were kind, courteous, and seems to have a great tandem going with each other filming different aspects of our wedding simultaneous. The cinematography, editing, and just overall flow of the cinematic short she created was absolutely amazing. I can’t begin to tell you how many times my wife and I have rewatched it; they captured the day so perfectly and beautifully. Also their filming of the events of the day was absolutely perfect. The Old North Film dream team made our PERFECT video
Our video was better than anything I could have ever imagined. Caleb’s professionalism, eye for creativity and passion for his art made him wonderful to work with. He was sociable and friendly and seamlessly fit into the hustle and bustle in our suites getting ready, but also made himself undetected at times to get truly candid shots. We never felt forced to do certain things and it showed in our video that our day was fun and we lived in the moment during all of it. It was important to me not to do things that we would never do naturally. Caleb and his assistant were able to capture all the great moments throughout the whole day without being intrusive or making us and our guests feel like we were being filmed. Our video shows such an out pouring of love; the rawness Old North was able to capture is unbelievable. Their editing was perfect too. They were able to splice together meaningful footage with fun party scenes and make it all flow together beautifully. The voice overs they chose to incorporate make it truly a masterpiece. I couldn’t have written a better script for the video if I tried. Old North Film is an amazing company to work with and I highly recommend Caleb. This was definitely one of the best allocations of our budget. Our video will always be close to our hearts and something we will proudly share with others for years to come.

STOP RIGHT NOW and choose Old North as your videographer. Seriously!!!!! They are INCREDIBLE and genuinely care about you, and your day. You would never guess they have a bazillion other brides & grooms, because that's how personal the experience felt. We had Caleb and he was seriously such a blessing on our wedding day. Videographer was my most important selection
The video footage of our wedding was one of the things that I was most looking forward to. We hit the jackpot with Old North working with Kevin. They had such an amazing vision as they shot the footage. They were never in the way but still somehow managed to get an upfront and unobstructed shot of every main event. They made us so at ease and were able to shift seamlessly with the flow of the day. Not sure if you want a videographer? Didn't originally plan for a videographer in your wedding budget? Same here, but it was well worth it!
My husband and I didn't plan on having a videographer (let alone two videographers) for our wedding. However after thinking about it, I decided that I did want a videographer to capture the little moments, movements and emotions that a photographer might not be able to catch. I had to 1) find a worthy enough videographer to justify exceeding our original wedding budget for and 2) do some SERIOUS convincing to get my husband on board for hiring a videographer.
Researching videographers was hard because I didn't want a cheesy video but also didn't have a specific video style in mind. Most, if not all, of the decent videographers that I found were extremely pricey. My wedding venue was also in Rockford, so many Chicago-based videographers either couldn't travel over there or had a hefty travel fee. One day, I stumbled upon Old North Film Company by chance. I watched one of their videos which then turned into watching hours of their videos and I was OBSESSED. I LOVED their highlights reels and how different and unique each wedding video was. It was evident that they really catered the video to each individual couple.
Old North Film Company was absolutely amazing and so great to work with from day one! When I first reached out, David was so responsive, helpful and patient as we got all of our questions answered and finalized our contract. We ended up choosing the highlight package which consisted of a 3-4 minute cinematic film and two videographers for 6 hours. We added 2 additional hours and raw footage as well. About a month or two before our wedding, our main videographer Alex reached out and we provided her with all the details on what we were looking for in our wedding video, what video styles we liked, etc. and we discussed all of this over the phone as well. My husband and I are very awkward around cameras and we were initially worried about having two photographers and two videographers for our wedding (that's a lot of attention..) However on our wedding day, Alex made us feel so natural and comfortable around the camera. We got married on July 13, 2019 and just got our video back last week so it does take some time (about 4 months) but they truly exceeded our expectations! We absolutely LOVE our video - Alex asked us for any feedback and was willing to make any edits necessary to make sure that we loved our video. THANK YOU Alex and Old North Film Company for everything!!!
tl;dr - My husband didn't want a videographer for our wedding but I did, I found Old North Film Company and convinced my husband that they were THE one, we hired them, they were wonderful & we absolutely LOVE our wedding video. It was well worth it!

Wonderful Choice
Our short film brings us to tears EVERY SINGLE TIME. Before our wedding, Kevin was extremely communicative and helpful in the planning process, coordinating with our planner vendors regarding sound, etc as needed. On our wedding, he and his assistant were on time, polite, professional and seamlessly fit into our day. Afterwards, he made sure we felt comfortable with each and every aspect of our short film, from music to speeches, and even the little extra details. He was also very flexible when there were a few additional things we wanted to add. We are so thrilled we chose the team at Old North. We know we will enjoy the footage for years to come!

Went above and beyond!!
My husband and I were that couple who questioned whether or not hiring a videographer would be worth it. It wasn't until the month of the wedding when we decided to commit due to the unfortunate event that neither of our grandmothers would be able to travel for our wedding. After many hours of agonizing and vetting other film companies, we somehow stumbled upon ONFC and immediately knew they were the right fit after one conversation with David. We worked with Alex and she was wonderful! We absolutely love our highlight video and couldn't be happier. I spent a long time looking at wedding videos and comparing - and it was well worth it! Best videographer ever!
We chose Old North Film Company to do the videography for our wedding in September of 2018. This was probably one of the best decisions we made. We worked with Alex and Tyler throughout the whole planning process. I cannot give both of these associates enough praise. They were very easy to contact and communicate with. Most times we got an email response in under 24 hours - which was very much appreciated when planning a wedding! Alex and her assistant showed up on our wedding day to the specified location right on time. They were extremely professional and worked hand in hand with our photographer (separate company) to capture all of our big moments. Alex was great to work with and made sure to capture all of the specific shots we wanted. They even stayed an extra half hour at our reception to ensure this was accomplished.
Post wedding, we had to wait about 5 months to get the final product. Old North did not disappoint! It was everything we expected it to be and more! Alex did an excellent job!
We would highly recommend Old North Film Company for your wedding. They are worth every penny and then some.

Easily our favorite wedding vendor
Old North was easily our favorite wedding vendor to work with. Not only this, but Old North created our most treasured wedding keepsake. My husband was initially slightly reluctant to contract a videographer; however, he now says that it was “worth every penny and more.” My mother, who is proud to be unsentimental, got teary-eyed while watching it for the first time- trust me, if you knew her, this alone would sell you on booking Old North.
Kevin was our videographer and he was absolutely wonderful to work with- his responses were lightning fast, he provided gentle reminders when he needed something from us, and he is pleasant and kind. My husband and I are a little nit-picky and requested a few small edits after receiving the video and he was able to quickly accommodate every single one. Do I have to mention that the final product was nothing short of amazing and absolutely perfect?!

THEY ARE WONDERFUL!!!! We had Caleb as our photographer and he went above and beyond! He arrived early, stayed late, made sure he got everything we wanted, and was the sweetest. It takes some time to get the video back but it is so worth it!!!! My family and I are obsessed with our highlight video. The details of the editing is incredible. I would definitely suggest a videographer for any wedding day because you will not remember everything, and I can't stop smiling when I watch our video; it brings back so many good memories. Old North Film Will Not Disappoint!
Old North Film Company and Tin in particular are THE BEST! It is obvious from their videos how incredibly talented they are. Their artistic style brings another level of excellence to each film. At the beginning, we were working with David who graciously answered all of our questions and ultimately sold us on working with them. We eventually were assigned to work with Tin as our lead cinematographer for our wedding day. Tin was an absolute pleasure to work with for these three reasons: his professionalism, attention to detail, and listening skills. He was very responsive throughout the entire process, any time we had questions (we had a lot). He was flexible and always asked follow up questions to make sure we were on the same page. On the day of our wedding, he was amazing – shared his ideas to capture great moments throughout the day. We also had a second cinematographer, Austin, who helped make our wedding films so incredibly special. Even when they delivered our films, they exceeded our expectations with their packaging! From start to finish, Old North Film was first-class! They were easily one of the best vendors of our wedding. Their customer service was refreshing because they made you feel like you were their top priority with every interaction. Our amazing photographer, Elena Bazini, recommended Old North Film to us for videography. We were not disappointed! We were in contact with Tin Nguyen from the beginning, and he was such a pleasure to work with! He took the time to go over the contract with us, and made the entire process so smooth. We were very pleasantly surprised when we found out that Tin would also be shooting our wedding. Couldn't recommend this team enough. They were absolutely wonderful, professional, and warm to work with, not to mention talented. They were extremely helpful in the months leading up to our wedding last September, and on the day of, they were so calm, reassuring, and fun to have around (but never made us feel uncomfortable or like there was a camera in my face the entire day.... after seeing our video and some of the shots in it, I hadn't even realized they were standing there in the moment!) And not just any videographer who will sloppily cut and paste frames into some sort of chronological order of your wedding day with uncoordinated background music for an added effect. This is why you hire the best of the best, top of the line storytellers who are so intuitive to every single detail of your big day who, in return, will give you endless memories to watch over and over again. Tyler, Chris & team were everything a bride dreams of working with. From the initial consult speaking with Tyler, I felt an immediate sense of calmness, and I knew I trusted everything he said about their work. They were so organized and made my wedding planning stress nonexistent! Chris was our lead shooter and they worked effortlessly around everyone I hardly ever realized they were filming! I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Old North, who we hired for our May 2017 wedding. I had been unsure about hiring a videographer, and I have to say that hiring Old North Film Company was one of our best decisions of the entire wedding process.
From the moment I contacted them, the guys at Old North were very responsive, professional, and just fun to work with. Also, we found their prices extremely reasonable, especially for the high quality of their work. We did the feature film package, which included a 9 minute video and full footage of our ceremony as well as a reception video. Our feature film was absolutely amazing. They captured the entire feeling of the wedding in a short film, really bringing in all of the special moments of the day. The way that they timed the music and speeches with the footage was beautiful. So many people commented on how great our video was, and I think it really stood out compared to others I have seen.
Our primary videographer was Tin, and he was so great--such a good person to have around on your wedding day. Both videographers were very flexible, just working around us on the big day without posing or having us redo particular moments for the film. It felt really natural and I barely noticed they were there, which is no small feat considering that they have somewhat large equipment.
We were so happy with our experience with Old North. Highly recommend!

We first reached out with Tin, and had Kevin and Dom at our wedding. Communication with Old North from the start was great. If you are questioning whether or not to have a videographer at your wedding, please get one!!! And if you want an amazing videographer that the video a year later brings you to tears, hire Old North!
When searching for a videographer, my main concern was that I didn't want a video of us taking pictures set to nice music. I wanted to be able to hear conversations from that day, hear our vows, hear parts of speeches & for the video to bring me totally back to that day. Old North delivered all of that and more. Our 1 year anniversary was this past month and the video brings back every feeling of that day. They truly captured the most special moments and I am so happy we used them for our wedding!

Old North Film Company was a great company to work with! The whole team is super quick to respond when I had all my crazy bride questions for them. On the day of the wedding they were very nice, and I could barely tell they were there! They captured a beautiful 5 minute highlight of the wedding and I couldn't be happier with my choice to pick them as our Wedding Videographer! I get compliments on the video all the time! They are very creative and are very nice, highly recommend them!

I did a lot of research when looking for the perfect videographer for our wedding. You spend a lot of money on a wedding and I wanted to make sure it was captured perfectly. I wanted someone that was able to tell a story and illustrate the feeling of our event and we found it with Old North. They blended into the background and I barely knew they were even there until we received our teaser trailer and video and was blown away. They did an amazing job capturing every emotion and detail of the event. The way they edited the film to flow between events and showcase all the highlights without dragging anything on made it a fun film for family and friends to watch who were not able to attend in person. Thank you David and team for allowing us to relive our wedding over and over again for the rest of our lives.

Old North was super to work with. Videography was a last minute add for us and Tyler and subsequently Tin took us on with 6 weeks notice and knowing that we had a lot of moving parts to our day - 2 ceremonies (Hindu and Christian), a lunch, and evening reception in one day. They accommodated our needs and blended in to the day so effortlessly. Additionally, Tin and our photographer seemed to work really well with one another. You would never know that the two were from different companies and had never worked together before. We are so pleased with how our feature film turned out and we also got a ton of great feedback from those that we shared our video with. The highlights of the day as well as many little moments were captured and presented in a way that made us say "Wow." We're really proud to have the film to share with our friends and family, especially those who were not able to attend. We are happy to give them such a well-represented flavor of our day.

Could not be happier with Old North Company throughout every step of the process! They were so easy and accommodating to work with. The day of the wedding they faded into the background and we didn't even notice them there. Tin was so great to work with! The finished product that they made was beyond our expectations! Old North Film exceeded our expectations for our wedding feature! The team was very helpful with every question and request we had for them. After inquiring with many other film companies, we knew we were getting not only the best deal with Old North, but also the best quality.
We are extremely grateful to have had two talented videographers, Kevin and Domenic, film our big day. Old North Film Co. did an amazing job capturing my special day! The arrived on time and made everyone feel comfortable while filming. They were very personable and fun to work with as well! Old North was a referral from our photographer. I loved their work online, and wasn't sure if a wedding videographer was worth spending money on, but now I know for sure IT IS. Dom and his team were collaborative with us before the wedding day, and showed up on time and were awesome to work with on the day of. You never want to know there's a camera in your face, and it felt completely natural having them there. My dad even mentioned after watching the video, that he was so glad he didn't realize he was being filmed during his speech, or he would have been nervous! The turnaround for the teaser was very fast, and the feature video took about 2 months. It was so worth the wait because we can't stop watching the feature film. It is 9 minutes of all the most important points of the day. The music is awesome! We couldn't be happier.

Choosing Old North as our videographer was by far the best decision we made! I was truly impressed by their professionalism, and the showcase video they put together for us was absolutely perfect. Having a videographer was a must for our wedding and after my first conversation with Tin around pricing and packaging and learning about the team, I knew this was the videographer we needed. Dom captured so many emotions and special moments from our wedding day. We cannot say thank you enough! He was professional on our wedding day and so great to work with afterwards as he put together our video and made a few requested edits. We have gotten so many compliments on the Showcase film and would recommend Old North Film Company and Dom to anyone!

We had the pleasure of working with Dom and Joey on our wedding day, and they were phenomenal! They made us feel so comfortable and were very unobtrusive. They were so nice and jovial and we were amazed at how well they worked with our photography team--it was as if they'd worked together many times before. I had watched videos from Old North Film Company before selecting a videographer, and I was impressed! When I ask friends what they most regret about their wedding, the response is always that they wish they had a videographer. Having had one, I can't imagine doing it any differently! We LOVED working with ONFC! They were so good at allowing us to carry on throughout our day as normal as possible - there were times when I forgot they were there because they were so sly at catching candid moments :) Haven't yet seen our finished and edited video but I have a feeling it's going to be remarkable.

If you are in the market for a videographer, you can stop looking! Brandon and crew of OLD NORTH FILM CO. did an AMAZING job capturing our special day. Not only was the final video wonderful, but the entire experience from start to finish was a blast.
To start, in our initial meeting with Brandon made us feel comfortable with the entire process. Their was no "sales pitch" but more of an informal chat about what we were looking for and how he could help.
On the day of, they allowed us to enjoy our day while capturing all the hidden moments that we now look back on and cherish. They exhibited the perfect blend of being professional in their work and having a laid back, comforting demeanor.
We were blown away when we received our final video. It is absolutely amazing... Just like the videographers!

I highly recommend considering Old North Film Company! I was hesitant at first about hiring a videographer for my wedding, but I am 110% glad I did. It was well worth the investment. We worked with Dom and Kevin, and they were awesome! They are so nice, easy going and talented and captured our wedding day so perfectly. I have watched our wedding video a few times now, and it still continues to bring me tears of happiness when I get to relive the happiest day of my life and see all of the love and happiness surrounding us. After months of saying we didn't want a wedding video, (I mean, who wants to have another camera in their face on their wedding day) we were convinced to give it more consideration. Our photographer suggested we reach out to Old North and as soon as we saw their work online we were hooked. Tin and Tyler were amazing. They really put us at ease and we're super thrilled with how our videos turned out. They did an awesome job of capturing the little details and all of the excitement about the entire day and were really great to work with from the initial meeting through the final revision of our feature film. We used Brandon as our videographer and he was AMAZING! We booked 2 for the day of and they threw in a third at no extra charge! The short film came out beautifully and they gave us ALL of the unedited film (which I am turning into a much longer film). They were very polite and go with the flow on the day of and worked great with my photographer. When booking, I did not have the cash to pay up front to receive the deal they had at the time- they were flexible enough to give me the deal and allow me to pay in 2 payments. Overall, they were amazing and I would recommend them to everyone!

My husbands cousin used Old North Film Company for their wedding video and we instantly knew we HAD to have them for our wedding video. They were so responsive and so great to deal with. Our wedding video was more than we could have asked for! Tin and Tyler captured our personalities perfectly and included all of the perfect moments from our wedding. I can't begin to express how happy and grateful we are that we found and chose Old North Film Company to create our wedding video. David and Dom were so fun and easy to work with on our wedding day and truly captured the entire feel of our wedding including some very special moments we were too busy to remember when all was said and done. Watching it for the first time was so happy and emotional it was like we were reliving the day all over again - it is a true work of art and the talent that went into it is undeniable. Old North Film Company did a phenomenal job on our wedding video! I cannot speak more highly of them. In fact, we've been referring them left and right to all our friends and family with upcoming weddings. They truly have an art for storytelling and the unique ability to bring out the emotions of your big day in a creative and artistic way that truly reflects the unique personality of each couple. It really has a cinematic-feel to it rather than just your traditional highlight video. I felt like I was watching a movie trailer and that speaks to the quality of their work!
David, Tyler, Brandon and the entire team at Old North produce some of the highest quality wedding videos I've ever seen at a very reasonable price. They were very professional from start to finish and overall just really nice, down-to-earth guys that got along well with our wedding party, vendors, etc. We had a lot of fun working with them.
If you're on the fence about video for your wedding, just know that these guys make it worth it. The quality can't be beat. We're so happy that we decided to go with them. The film turned out amazing and we'll have these memories for the rest of our lives. Thank you Old North! You guys rock.

Old North rocks! They were so fun and easy to work with! They did such a wonderful job recording and presenting our wedding that I can’t get through any of our videos (teaser, showcase, and feature) without smiling like a lunatic or crying happy tears. Everything they have given us has been beautiful. They were able to capture our personalities, the love we have for each other, and the feel of our wedding day so perfectly. We, and our friends and families, love all the work they have done for us. Also, these aren’t your grandma’s videos where someone just passed around the camera. No, these are high quality, mini-movies with music and artistic cuts. You’ll practically feel like a movie star after watching them.
I know videography can be a serious investment but it is so worth it. Being able to hear the tremor in my husband’s voice as he read his vows, seeing just how much I laughed during our wedding, and catching moments that we missed that day (because it went by so fast!) is priceless. I know I will go back and watch these many times over the years.
Highly recommend Old North to everyone and anyone.

ONFC was really great to work with! Our wedding day couldn't have gone smoother. Brandon, Tyler and David were easy going and made things less stressful. You can definitely tell they know what they're doing. They also worked well with our photographer.
Not only that, we were very impressed with the final video they sent us! I've watched it over and over and over again. They really captured our personalities in 4 minutes. I don't think it could have been better!

Old North Film Co was incredible! Not only was the finished product perfect, but the entire experience with the guys was a pleasant one. They took time to get to know us before our wedding in order to find out what we wanted them to capture and to understand the general feel we wanted for our wedding video, they were on time to every place that they needed to be, and they were so fun to have around throughout the day. Absolutely perfect. Old North Film Company is the BEST option for your wedding video. My wife and I have received countless compliments on the finished product. Our video is a beautiful summary of our wedding day--artistic, simple, fun, and extremely professional.
Not only is the video beyond what we expected, but the personal touch of this company is outstanding. They carefully tailored the video to our personality by interviewing us beforehand, and taking the time to get to know us on our wedding day. The result was a video that perfectly captured the celebration of our marriage.
Not only did they finish the video in a timely fashion (less than a month), but they also sent us a Flash Drive of the video in a gorgeous handmade package with a thank you note! They are the best!
Old North Film Company is extremely professional as well. Arriving on time, and staying the entire length of our wedding day. They coordinated their movements with our photographer, and were able to stay "out of the way" during important moments. They are also fun to be around--these guys are hilarious. You will feel like you made three new friends by the end of the day.
In other words--I highly recommend this company. You will certainly not regret it!

These guys were so great to work with. With the initial planning they were very flexible on working with my hectic schedule trying to plan a wedding. Even when I canceled my 1st appt. because of my unavailability they quickly worked with me to schedule in another time that was more convenient for me. As far as the day of my wedding they were so comfortable to work with. And the final product was amazing. Old North Film Co was a great addition to our wedding. First and foremost, we love our video. Second, their team is wonderful - they are knowledgeable, approachable, up on the latest trends, very responsive and simply good at what they do. We worked with Tin and were super impressed that he was able to film our wedding with an 18 day notice! We decided on the video last minute and are so glad we did it. Old North did an excellent job filming our wedding. The showcase that they put together for us is beautiful. We watch it all the time. Great for fusion or multi-day weddings
Tin and Alex from Old North Film Co. did a lovely job with our multi-day, multi-cultural Indian fusion wedding in the west suburbs of Chicago. They were real troopers to come out every day at 8 am to start shooting! I especially want to commend Alex, the junior videographer who had the patience to work through multiple rounds of edits back and forth with me until the product was perfect! We loved the music they chose for our feature film and the way they blended details of both ceremonies together for the feature, clip by clip.
A few things to note:
1) Editing time with this company does a while; our wedding was in August and we didn't have a first draft until Christmas to review. This might have been because we had 3 days worth of footage to cover, though. If you have a standard 8 hour, 1-day wedding then your response time might be faster.
2). While they do have experience with ethnic weddings, it really helps to break it down and highlight exactly what parts of the ceremony or wedding are vital to capture. I also suggest having your videographer and photographer meet your immediate family some time before the wedding so they know who the important people are to shoot. If I could go back and change one part of the process, that's what I would change.
3) Quality wise, overall it was great, but know that some of the videographers do like to shoot without tripods so be clear with them if you don't want shaky angles.
While they don't do drone footage, I appreciated them incorporating time lapse for us! Overall, Old North is a pretty decent value for your money and will give you a great custom feature film that encompasses the mood from your wedding! Everyone we showed the feature to loved it.

Excellent Vendor!
Company was great for my wedding on July 29, 2018. They were very responsive during the initial booking process and arrived prompt on our special day. It took a little longer than I had anticipated to receive our preview video but the end result was amazing. Chris was a very friendly videographer. We had two videographers for 10 hours and they captured everything from us getting ready to us celebrating at our banquet hall.
I had priced shopped about 10 videographers and for the price and the quality, its well worth it!

We spoke with David to book our videographer and he was extremely kind and helpful. Jono was our first shooter and he did a wonderful job capturing our day. We went with the short film and it turned out great! He really captured every moment for us. We were a little disappointed with the footage during our ceremony from the second shooter there was an issue in the film where the camera dropped to the floor and Jono and David were quick to edit that piece and make it look flawless for us. The crew was very prompt the day of as well as getting our video to us. I would highly recommend this company!!!
