Great service and food!

My husband and I got married on Nov 2nd and we had old Carolina cater- it was amazing! The food was phenomenal and working with Brooke was so simple and easy!

I couldn’t recommend them more!

The best food!!

Our guests RAVED all night about how it was the best BBQ they’ve ever had…even a guest that came from Texas. The staff were so professional and kind. I highly recommend! Brooke was so amazing to work with.

Amazing Experience

The food at our wedding was absolutely perfect! From the first bite to the last, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The catering team went above and beyond—not only was the service seamless, but they made sure my husband and I were taken care of and actually got to enjoy our meal (which every bride knows is a big deal!).

They worked so well with our venue to make sure everything flowed smoothly, and their professionalism was truly top-notch. Days after the wedding, I had multiple guests reach out just to tell me they were still talking about how amazing the food was. I’m so grateful we chose them—highly, highly recommend!

Excellent!!

My niece was married this past weekend and the catering from Old Carolina was great! The food was delicious and the staff was exceptional! I wish I could remember the team leaders name!!. ( Oct 13, Himelright Lodge, Akron OH if you're reading this). He went above a beyond what he was hired to do. The entire experience could not have been better.

Great all around!

We were so happy that we chose Old Carolina for our caterer. From the beginning, Brooke was incredibly kind and easy to work with. She made sure everything went smoothly on our big day. They handled all of our linen, seating, and outdoor party game rentals as well. The food was wonderful and we had enough leftovers to feed a small army. We were also pleased with the price and quality of the food. Would highly recommend!

Delicious food and incredible service!

When my now-husband and I got engaged, we knew immediately that we wanted barbecue food at our reception. The venue that we selected, Happy Days Lodge, has Old Caroline Barbecue as a preferred caterer, so honestly the decision to have them cater our wedding was an easy one for us to make. However, it was the attention to detail and excellent communication from Brooke Guiley, their director of catering services, that really made OCB so incredible to work with. She was extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process, and she even ensured that we were able to make a couple of customizations to some menu items to deal with a food allergy issue. Also, when we ended up scheduling some rehearsal and set-up time somewhat last minute, she ensured that all of our linens and place settings got delivered a day early so that we could get the most out of the time that we had the space. On top of all of that, the food was amazing on the day of the event - we had several guests come up and tell us how delicious everything was, and my husband and I actually made time to sit down and eat it because we loved it so much. I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience of working with OCB. I highly recommend!

Amazing food with great customer service!

Throughout the entire planning process, Brooke and her team were very quick to respond and attentive to our needs. They made the experience very easy. The food the day of was so delicious and everyone was raving about it the entire night! Not to mention, the service provided was phenomenal. Highly recommend !!!

Delicious food, friendly staff

Best BBQ Around!

Old Carolina is a a must have for your wedding! We had a private tasting at the restaurant in Orrville where the food was outstanding. We knew before we left that it was the right choice for us. Brooke, who helped with our quote and timeline, did a wonderful job and was extremely detailed and helpful! We decided to have a fruit and veggie tray for our cocktail hour. Then for dinner we had chicken legs/thighs, pulled pork, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, rolls, and salad. Yes, we did have leftovers, but we were so happy to share more with others and take some back home. It was an absolute hit!

Phenomenal

We had an amazing experience overall. We worked with Brooke and she went above and beyond helping us with food. The food tasting allowed us to try everything and narrow down what we wanted. We had vegetarian guests and were able to provide them with a great meal. Brooke worked with us to help fit things into our budget. As the wedding planning evolved we decided to add on some extra entree options, plates, glasses and linens and the process was very easy. Brooke was flexible and just sent updated invoices as we went. The catering staff were amazing and friendly serving the food the day of the wedding. We throughly enjoyed our meal and the guests loved the food. We would highly recommend Old Carolina to anyone for their wedding or event

Great Experience

We had a great experience with Old Carolina. All of our guests raved over how good the food was. The only thing I wish they would have done is when they cut our cake they didn't put any aside for us. (Our cake was special flavors and we also had a sheet cake in the back that was all one flavor we didn't get any of our display cake to take home or the grooms cake) The staff was so helpful though it truly was a great experience.

Went above and beyond!

We had a great experience with Old Carolina for our wedding! The food was wonderful with an ample amount served to each person! The staff was so professional and friendly. Absolutely Amazing

We hired Old Carolina for our wedding Saturday September 7th 2019 for $140 people it was FANTASTIC! Brooke the manger for catering was so helpful through the whole process and was such a pleasure to work with her. We hired Old Carolina for a Full Service and they went above and beyond our expectations. It was AMAZING! The staff was super sweet and easy to work with I didn’t have to worry about anything. We were definitely pleased and our guest kept giving us great feedback about their service! Everything tasted great as well as the service being FANTASTIC! Definitely worth the money and well worth the great experience they provided! We definitely will be recommending them to everyone we know.

Delicious wedding food!

We had our outdoor June wedding catered by Old Carolina and were so happy with our choice. They were easy to work with and were great at communicating through email and over the phone. The day of the wedding, the staff was helpful & accommodating to the rainy weather. The food was DELICIOUS - so many of our guests reached out to us to let us know how good it was. Old Carolina has several vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options as well.

Great food that everybody loved!

We had Old Carolina cater our wedding, and it was some of the vest food I've ever had! We did a buffet style, and everything was still hot when it was being served! They definitely don't skimp out on portion sizes either, and allowed people to get seconds after everyone was served. We got the pulled pork, chicken breast, green beans, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, corn bread, and salad. Everything was delicious! We got plenty of food boxed for us to take home, and they also gave us a tins of each of the BBQ sauces as well! Our context was Brooke Guiley, and she was very nice and extremely helpful!

Amazing catering

The food was amazing! The staff was prompt and so helpful! They manned the buffet line, bussed tables, and helped with cake cutting and boxing pur top layer! I would highly recommend them!!!

Excellent Service, Excellent Food!

My daughter loves anything and everything barbecue, so when we saw Old Carolina Barbecue on the preferred vendor list at our wedding venue, we were eager to give them a try. Leslianne was a dream to work with, so professional and responsive. She invited us to a taste-testing evening, and once we tried the food, we were completely hooked. We are still receiving compliments about how good the food was five weeks after the wedding. The Old Carolina BBQ team worked together like a well-oiled machine, cheerfully and quickly serving everyone, answering questions, and helping wherever possible. And when dinner was over, they dismantled the buffet so quickly and quietly that nobody even realized they'd done it unless they happened to look over and see that it was gone! We could not have been more pleased with them and will highly recommend them to anyone seeking delicious food, great service and a lot of very happy wedding guests.

Followed through with their word!!

Old Carolina BBQ definitely stepped up and took on a challenge. I has spoken with the catering manager, who no longer works there, about a year and a half prior to my wedding. He made promises, gave us quotes, and we put the deposit down. Then, time goes by, and 2.5 weeks or so before my wedding, I call to confirm the number of people and the final price with them. The staff informed me that the catering manager I had worked with no longer was employed there, they had NO RECORD of our event, and I would have to call back to speak with upper management. After some internal freaking out, I spoke with Mark, the general manager of the store. He was very nice, very helpful, and promised me that he and his team would perform and deliver every promise the previous catering manager had agreed to. I had to admit, I was nervous they were not going to show up the day of. But right on time, Mark, personally came to work my event, and his team arrived and began working right away. They were professional, the food was delicious, and lived up to all my exceptions. Thank you for being awesome and setting up, Old Carolina BBQ!!

Flawless Service and Delicious Food

Old Carolina was the perfect choice for our wedding. The whole process was smooth and seamless and there were no issues at all. They were flexible when we wanted to add on additional options. The food was piping hot, plentiful and delicious and the servers were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a great value and our guests raves about our food. Totally recommend them!

Leslianne and her team were wonderful to work with. They were nothing but professional and sweet to our guests and the food was amazing! Any questions we had, we immediately had an answer. Leslianne was so amazing through the planning process! Whether it was answering my questions, making last minute changes, or sending me pictures of the linens, she was on top of everything. We love Old Carolina and when we realized that they were one of the preferred vendors for our venue, we knew we couldn't go wrong since they taste so good! We met Brooke at a catering/wedding event and booked shortly after that. We then were in contact with Leslianne, who took over and everything continued to run smoothly. She was always very responsive to emails and requests. We appreciated them handling the linens, tables and chairs also on top of the food. And the food, we had it served family style, which everyone raved about as well as the delicious food! Thanks again for being apart of our wedding and sharing in our vision!

Brooke was wonderful to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was always prompt in responding to questions and emails leading up to the big day. When the mother of the groom and I did a tasting at one of their events we knew that is was the right vendor to handle our menu for our wedding day! We taste tested everything on the catering menu and the staff gave us plenty of time to try all of our options before setting with us to answer questions, unlike other catering companies we did tastings with. The staff were very understanding of our need to have a vegan option and our concern that the pasta we choose may be a little dry if it sets out for a long period of time during the summer days. The staff added notes to exclude the bacon in the green beans and to add extra oil base to the pasta, and those notes were followed as both were exactly as requested the day of the wedding. As the wedding day approached Brooke touched base with me to verify all the details. The vendor also handled setting up the appetizers and did a wonderful job of keeping them stocked. I highly recommend their catering services to anyone looking for an amazing vendor, while still staying within a wedding budget!

Our wedding was Saturday Evening (6/30/18) and I am still hearing how delicious the food was. Everyone was impressed by everything. Even our picky eaters were thrilled. We also have family from both Georgia & Nashville, they love their bbq and they were beyond impressed! The staff who worked our wedding were truly amazing. They roughed it through one of our hottest days to date this summer without AC, and still had a smile on their faces. They were kind, courteous, and very attentive. I’ve always been thrilled with food from Old Carolina, and I’m glad to say the experience of wedding planning with them was truly a dream. All in all a great company to work with and I would definitely recommend them without hesitation!

Leslieann kept in great communication with me throughout the process, even when we had a hiccup with the plates (which are provided in the price), she got it worked out perfectly for me. The woman that was there for the wedding also kept in good communication with me though out the night and they packed up all our leftovers for us!! Delicious! Thank you!!!

My wife and I loved working with Old Carolina! The service we received far surpassed our expectations. We live in MD and were planning our wedding in Ohio. Brooke was extremely flexible and was able to meet with us on the weekends, was extremely responsive to our emails and calls, and even connected us with other vendors in the area! On our wedding day she was there extremely early making sure that everything was set up perfectly for our reception. We had appetizers from other restaurants and she coordinated with them to make sure everything went smoothly. The food was also delicious!

Our experience with Old Carolina was nothing short of awesome! Brooke was incredible (especially with my changes) and always had a smile on her face. Her staff the day of the wedding were great and the food was the talk of the night! Fantastic service and reasonably priced. I loved that ordering linens and other fabrics was so easy as they handled everything for us with Miller Rental. Highly recommend!

Hired for my sisters wedding, everything turned out amazing, they even had staff pick up plates and hand out dessert. I planned this wedding from Virginia and they made it very easy even from out of town. After I had already hired them I heard so many people tell me how much they love their food, so it calmed my nerves knowing I picked a delicious place. I love that it isn't the traditional easy to make wedding food. Their food is something people actually want to eat and look forward to dinner. Even with the name BBQ they were so professional and catered to all tastes not just smoked and covered in sauce. If I had another event in the future I would hire again, defiantly the best price around and they include so much. We started at $12 per person but after my sister went to the tasting my family was so in love and added so much it went up a bit, but totally worth it. I'm happy everyone was full of amazing food.

I cannot leave a higher review for Old Carolina! From our initial emails to our tasting to our wedding day, we could not be more pleased with their professionalism, attention to detail, and positive attitudes. Leslianne was amazing to work with, and was incredibly prompt with her email responses and returned phone calls. She did everything possible to ensure our day was everything we imagined it to be and was incredibly accommodating with our ideas. The food served at our wedding was even better than what we had sampled at our tasting and at the Old Carolina restaurant. They pulled the pork right as my husband and I walked up to the buffet table! Our guests loved our non-traditional menu, and many went up for seconds and thirds. I absolutely recommend Old Carolina for your “I Do BBQ”!

We used Old Carolina BBQ to cater our post-destination wedding luncheon at Hale Farm. Working with Leslianne to coordinate all of the details was an absolute pleasure. She is super professional, kind and knowledgeable. The staff on the day of the event (I wish I could remember the name of the manager/lead on that day!) was EXCEPTIONAL. When we arrived, the staff had an "all hands on deck" attitude and were willing to pitch in wherever we needed. It was very appreciated! Now, on to the food. IT. WAS. DELICIOUS! Our guests raved about it, and it was the perfect accompaniment for our laid-back event. The food/service package that we selected was a great value and included so much (linens, etc.). The only downfall to selecting Old Carolina BBQ for catering was that they don't offer any bartending service add-on's like so many of the other caterers did. However, Leslianne was quick to give me a list of tried-and-true bartenders to contact, which was super helpful, and we ended up selecting one of her recommendations!

Old Carolina BBQ was SO easy to work with & their food is AMAZING! They are affordable, friendly, accommodating, and flexible. Everyone at the wedding thought the food was delicious! I definitely recommend them. We also rented a sweetheart table and a cake table through them and they were the perfect finishing touches to our big day!

We used Old Carolina BBQ for our rehearsal dinner. We ordered a few days before over the phone and had it delivered to the location we were holding the event. The food showed up, hot, and on time. Everybody loved it! Great price as well. It would be difficult to find similar quality food at comparable price. I absolutely recommend Old Carolina BBQ for any event you may be hosting.

Old Carolina was sooo easy to work with!!! And the food was amazing and everyone loved it.

At first I wasnt sure how BBQ would work at a wedding but I couldnt have imaged us having anything else.

super helpful through our engagement-was flexible with guestlist budget fluctuating. we were able to get all diets accommodated for-vegetarian, vegan, gluten issues, etc. Very affordable and had a good amount of leftovers to take home. Staff at our reception were super friendly and professional.

My mother, Aunt and I went up to Cleveland for a Bridal Expo last winter during a snow storm. We got lucky, and stumbled upon a food vendor called Old Carolina BBQ, tasted their food and we thought it was delicious. I knew the food had to be spot on for our wedding because my Uncle is a chef, so no pressure at all. When my Aunt tasted the food, and she said it was good, then I knew I had to call them for a tasting. In October we made a meeting with them, and they did not fail! The food was outstanding, the variety of meat, and sides is what we were surprised with. My husband and I thought we should look at one more place, but we just knew that we were not going to find anything as good as that. We had a handful of people at the wedding that were gluten free, and they were accomodating to that, including some vegetarians. We had pulled pork (AMAZING), smoked chicken, and ribs. Sides were veggie pasta, mashed potatoes, green beans and salad. And everyone is still raving about how good the food was at the wedding. Made my husband and I happy! Not only that, Leslianne, the VP of Restaurant of Catering and Sales was top notch to work with. She and her team came the day of the rehearsal, helped us set up tables, and set up linens, and the linens we ordered from Old Carolina, and they were beautiful. The day of the wedding, they came in, set up the appetizers, and dinner, then worked their magic. Everything was delicious. I would recommend Old Carolina to anyone who is looking for delicious done right food! They were beyond amazing to work with and went above and beyond my husband and my expectations.

WOW! Old Carolina! The staff was so amazing! Kind, helpful, willing to jump in when needed and super professional. The food was great, the guests raved, and I was excited to have a little left over (that pulled pork is the best). Leslianne and her crew were easy to work with, answered quickly, accommodating, and very affordable. We used the plastic plates and forks that look like china and they worked perfect for us. They were great about setting up quickly and keeping the place picked up. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were to work with. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Old carolina provided catering services for our wedding. They arrived on time and set the buffet up quickly. They were very professional throughout the entire evening and provided cake cutting services free of charge. The food was delicious and we got a lot of compliments from our guests on the food being delicious and a nice change from typical wedding food. I would recommend them to friends and they are very affordable while serving high quality food!

We met with several caterers, and not only did Old Carolina come in at half the price (or less in some instances), they also offered high quality service and absolutely delicious food. Most wedding food is the same old, same old, but our guests RAVED about how much they loved it! Leslianne was also a dream to work with, was incredibly responsive to questions and we didn't have to worry for a second about things being taken care of. She also handled all of our rentals, which was a HUGE bonus!! We would highly recommend Old Carolina to anyone considering them.

Old Carolina was an amazing caterer. Our point person there who coordinated the event was extremely responsive and accommodating to our requests. They worked with the cookie and cake caterer (separate) to make sure that the food service was seamless. The catered food was fantastic, and everyone enjoyed their meals.

Angela wonderful and such a huge help!!! She coordinated our linens and chairs and when the other vendor brought the wrong color she was quick to get it fixed. She helped us set up the venue as well. I wish I could give this more than a 5-star rating! Never in my life have I been to a wedding where the food and service was anywhere near delicious as the food was that OC had provided! I am still getting questions from guests about where we did the catering. I am not even exaggerating when I say that everyone who attended asked me about Old Carolina. "The food was amazing!" "I kept going back for more!" Carrie was the coordinator and she was extremely friendly and professional. The team that actually came was the nicest group of people that I had met. They met up with me throughout the night to see if there was anything that they could do or that I needed. When the night was coming to an end, they even split the food evenly so that both sets of parents could take it home and enjoy it. They exceeded our expectations and my husband and I will definitely be stopping up for some food. Hands down recommend to everyone!

Nothing bad can be said. The buffet service staff were friendly, very professional and smooth. They went above and beyond their regular job duties, bussing tables, breaking down service tables and bagging linens. They even offered to do things outside of their buffet duties. They boxed leftovers and carried to the car. They complied with the ever changing requests of the bride and groom, and did so with a smile. When they had finished cleaning up their equipment, they did not leave early, but continued to bus and help out until the end of their shift! The catering contact, Leslieanne, was wonderful. She coordinated all of the details, made changes graciously, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was FABULOUS! I will use them again if the occasion arises, without a doubt!

I got married on a farm in a barn and let me tell you, Old Carolina BBQ fit the theme 100% All of the guests kept complimenting our food selection saying the BBQ was on point! We went with the full feast (roast chicken, pulled pork, ribs, baked beans, coleslaw, and salad). The buffet line moved quickly, the staff was friendly and helpful; they even helped my mom out by bringing up our home-made dessert plates from the kitchen and setting them up on the dessert table and refilled them throughout the night. They packaged up all of out leftovers in aluminum bins for us to take home. They were very reasonably priced. They also provide linens for the guest tables if needed. One of the best things about this company is that they are a restaurant as well, so if my husband and I ever want to be nostalgic and have our wedding food again, we can just visit one of the Akron locations and take a trip down memory lane!

We had our wedding reception in my husband's parent's barn and we knew we wanted BBQ Pork. We called around to a few places, but Old Carolina was the most attentive and most helpful. We worked directly with the Catering Manager, Angela Bozic, and she was so great to work with. She answered all of our questions, she set up a tasting for us, and made sure all of the little details about our big day were covered. Also, she was available whenever we needed to reach out to her and followed up to make sure things went as well as expected on the day of. The caterers came early to set up and provided excellent service to all of our guests. We received many compliments on how good the food was. We highly recommend Old Carolina Barbeque Company for anyone looking for some good food for their event.

If you have an event, I cannot recommend Carolina Barbecue enough for the catering. From helping you to pick out the menu to the service on the day of event to clean- up they really do it all!

I know we are a little biased, but we really truly felt like our wedding was the best day ever! And a big part of the day going so well was Carolina Barbecue. I can't even begin to tell you about all of the compliments we have received about the team. In addition to the food being absolutely delicious, we heard time and time again how friendly and warm the staff was to all of the guests. We especially appreciated how organized dinner service was! Knowing our experience up until that point, we shouldn't have expected anything less, but it was just a relief knowing that everyone was able to get through the food line and back to their seats to enjoy their meals in such a timely manner. It's actually really funny because my aunt came up to me and was like Grace when is the dance floor opening up and I realized that everyone was getting antsy because they had eaten dinner so quickly!!

In addition to doing a great job with dinner service, the staff did a great job keeping the event space tidy throughout the evening. When we came back to the venue the next day to do final clean- up, nearly all our work had been done for us. All we had to do was take our centerpieces!

Also, if you are working with Angela you are in great hands!

Rocco was extremely helpful and easy to work with. He provided us an amazing tasting and showed us all of our linen options. As time got closer to the wedding he stayed in contact and was easy to get a hold of. The food tasted amazing and we're still eating left overs. The staff at the wedding was kind, professional, and even reminded me that I had special requested french dressing. I would definitely use them again!

Leslieanne was wonderful to work with and set us up with an awesome test meal for 4 people when selecting our menu - wow! The food was so delicious and loved by all - a few guests went back for second servings of pork and filled their entire plates! Outstanding! The staff was very helpful and flexible when a few minor bumps happened at the reception(not anything to do with them) and the food was SO AMAZING!! GREAT VALUE! They have the best food around! I had family and friends from a bunch of different states with different back rounds. Everyone LOVED the food. I had compliments saying it was the best food they ever had. I was very impressed with all the service. They set up great & took care of the cake cutting for me. Leslie Ann was amazing to work with. We had old Carolina barbecue cater wedding and couldn't be happier about our decision. Everyone couldn't stop talking about the food! Workers were extremely friendly and professional. We paid a little extra for the package and it was worth every penny. They took care of tables chairs linens plates silverware cake table and etc we didnt have to worry about anything! Highly recommended!!

Old Carolina did my wedding this weekend and the were just awesome. I got so many compliments on the food and the service. They did an awesome job of continually picking up empty plates and glasses to keep the table looking nice, I had many guests tell me that they were very sweet to them while also being "unobtrusive." The venue I used was not full service, so at the end of the night the Old Carolina staff helped me gather up all the decorations and things that I needed to take home with me so my bridal party could leave quickly and not spend a lot of time cleaning up. The day can not have ran smoother.

The company they work with for linen and place setting rentals has a ton of options, and they take care of lining up all of that so all you have to do is pick your styles!

I love, love, loved that they went to my venue the night before and put down all the linens so my bridesmaids and I could set up our homemade centerpieces before the rehearsal and not have anything to worry about or have to rush around the day of the wedding.

Leslianne is also great to work with. She responded quickly to my emails, was always on time for meetings (even if I wasn't, haha), and made sure I had everything I asked for, even when I changed linen colors and added extra rentals only one week out!

I also have to add that the staff at the actual restaurants were very nice as well, when we went in for meetings and to drop off contracts or checks. Always offered us a free drink...its a little thing but it makes an impression of great customer service.

We used them to cater our rehearsal BBQ dinner . The young man that was came and set everything up arrived in a timely manner and was extremely professional and helpful! The food was great! Everyone had plenty to eat! Thank you for making our event a successful one!

Old Carolina Barbecue was a real crow-pleaser at our wedding, and I'm so glad we chose them to be our caterer. The catering coordinator was easy to work with, and was willing to work with us to provide exactly what we wanted. To accommodate our vegetarian friends, they were willing to prepare a few side dishes without meat, as well. After looking at a couple other catering options that would have really put a strain on our budget, my fiancee and I agreed that not only was Old Carolina the best best value, but the food tasted the best, too.

The day of the wedding, the staff arrived in plenty of time to set up and they were ready to go right on time. They were courteous, efficient, and cleaned up everything with all of the leftovers neatly packaged for us to take home. The food was hot, flavorful, and there was plenty for everyone. We chose to upgrade the table service (plates, silverware, etc.) so that dinner felt more like a sit-down meal than a backyard barbecue.

We are so glad we chose Old Carolina Barbecue for our summer wedding!

We had some of the pickiest eaters that attended our wedding and they loved everything that Old Carolina BBQ Company brought. I had people begging for the leftovers they knew I had gotten to take home. I'm so happy that I went with this company and would love to use them in the future for other special occasions! OCB and Leslianne were so good to us. Leslianne was terrific during the planning process, responsive and full of great ideas. Everyone the day of went above and beyond; they were endlessly helpful. Catered the rehearsal dinner the night before our son and daughter-in-law's wedding. Everyone raved about the food. Generous portions , nice presentation, attentive and professional staff. Made the event very nice. LeslieAnne was so easy to work with, and came through for us. Would definitely use them again. Also thought they were priced reasonably.

I had the pleasure of working with Roberta for the initial planning ,and Leslieanne for the final few weeks before my wedding reception. Both women made themselves readily available when I needed to get in contact with them, and were incredibly reliable and professional. Old Carolina's catering is so affordable, and flexible, I couldn't have asked for better service. All my guests raved about the food, and the staff was patient, professional, and friendly. Simply put, I have absolutely no complaints. This is some of the best service I have ever received anywhere. From planning to executing service, Old Carolina surpassed my expectations and made this wedding process a piece of cake (pun intended). We would use Old Carolina again to cater anytime and highly recommend them. I was really taken aback at the serving staffs' terrific personality, smiles, professionalism, and how genuinely sweet they are. Old Carolina catered our wedding and not only were they on time, professionally dressed, and prepared but, they were also a huge pleasure to work with. Leslianne and her staff made the whole day run smoothly and the food was so good that not only did I receive many compliments but, guests went up for seconds! Also, Leslianne was extremely accessible before the wedding and even helped me change the linens when I realized what I had picked wasn't going to match the venue. Overall this is the best place you can call for any catering event!

Old Carolina was amazing as our caterer for our October wedding. Rocco was very responsive, helpful and really helped our reception run smoothly. We had a few strange requests and they made sure that we got everything we want.

They are so well known in the area for their outstanding food, and I cannot tell you how much of a value they are for catering. We were given so many compliment on their food and service from our guests.

We recently got married on 9-22-12. The food was amazing. EVERYONE said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. I couldn't agree more with them. The staff was amazing. Lesileann was the best person we've ever dealt with. She was very friendly and was there when we had any questions. We are very pleased with our catering from OCBC. Our wedding was at Hale Farm, and we chose family style service. The food was fresh, plentiful, and absolutely delicious. The entire staff was efficient and courteous. Throughout the planning, we dealt with Leslianne. She was a pleasure to work with, and extremely responsive and helpful. They were great! The initial meeting was very quick and easy. They catered my rehearsal dinner. They had a staff that set up and took all their stuff down. They boxed all the leftovers up for us too. Old Caroline Barbecue exceeded our expectations on every level. Leslie was very helpful during the planning stages. She answered every question quickly and clearly. Their catering services are very inexpensive compared to other wedding caterers, and we were able to take left over food home (other caterers we checked out, we wouldn't have been allowed to take it home- which would have been silly since we would have been paying so much money for all that food.) I have an allergy to milk, so the company bent over backwards for me. They looked at every ingredient used for everything. They asked for a list of "safe" milk-free butters, went out and bought the butter themselves, and used it on the green beans for me instead of their butter they use at the restaurants. When they arrived at the reception, they informed me that they were able to make the mashed potatoes without milk also, so I was able to enjoy those. We never even talked about making the potatoes without milk. It wasn't even supposed to be possible. So for them to tell me that on my wedding day, I could eat it, blew me away. It was an amazing surprise. The potatoes tasted wonderful- EVERYone loved them! I can't say enough about OCB and their services. It was outstanding. I definitely recommend them to any and every bride. You'll get so much more than what you pay for and everyone will tell you how much they love and enjoy the food!

OCB catered my oct 2nd wedding at Gervasi Vineyard ok north canton

Leslianne was fantastic with the details and the preparations beforehand.

She was always willing to listen to my questions, concerns or just when I was going bridzilla over a minut detail..lol!!

Leslianne and her team did an excellent job the day of the wedding...an sd the food was fantastic....everyone from the old biddies to my now husband loved it!!!!

I had been working with Rocco since January to plan our October wedding reception. He was always very professional and prompt to respond. I especially appreciate his willingness to communicate via email instead of phone calls, and they way he sent me an updated quote every time we changed the order even slightly.

We had about 200 guests at our wedding reception. Old Carolina provided some light appetizers, pulled pork, chicken, mashed potatoes, baked beans, salad, and grilled veggie pasta salad (which isn't on their regular menu, but was fantastic and I highly recommend). Our total catering bill came out to about $18-19 per person, which I think is a great value. We got lots of compliments on the food, and had no trouble giving away the leftovers the next day.

Other things that I liked about working with Old Carolina: they accept credit card payment without an additional charge, their policy on gratuity is that they pay their servers well already so it is not necessary, there were no hidden fees or additional "service charges," they bring absolutely everything with them and even haul away the trash. We literally had to supply them with nothing more than space to set up. I also felt more confidence hiring a catering company that also runs a restaurant. I feel that their food quality is more predictable, and they are more motivated to provide good service to our guests because they have a reputation to uphold.

We were very happy with the food and the service. Leslianne is great to work with, and all the servers were very attentive and friendly. The food was brought to the tables quickly, and it arrived hot and fresh. I appreciate that they do not automatically add in the gratuity; they are motivated to provide good service to earn their tip. Great value.

Our experience with Old Carolina couldn't have been any better. Rocco was amazig to work with. He was able to get answers right away. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The guests are still talking about the food. My husband really wanted Prime Rib and Rocco was more than happy to provide it for the head table. It was absolutly perfect. My husband was so excited. We are so greatful for all the hard work and patience. Thank you, Rocco and staff!!

We ordered Old Carolina for our "I DO BBQ" rehearsal dinner and it was a hit! The food was delicious (as always) and was perfect for our big laid back rehearsal dinner. The price was also the best value for feeding 50 people for a rehearsal.

All of our guests were excited when they found out we were having Old Carolina BBQ as our caterer. We received many compliments that night and for days to follow on the food. We even had some leftover food to take home that night! They showed up on time to the venue to set up and everything was ready to serve on time. The only thing that went wrong was that some of our rental chairs were wet from sitting out the night before the wedding. They went around and dried them off before the reception started....but some guests and some of our wedding party had some wet bottoms!!!
