Choosing Amanda at Oh Lovely Wedding was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Her experience and expertise put us at ease from the moment we hired her until the wedding day itself. On our Wedding day, she arrived to the venue early, identified the best locations for portraits and helped direct/guide our family members and bridal party for our group photos. She was directive with our portraits (which we were really grateful for!) and helped us feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. She captured every important moment and event immaculately. Amanda has this unique talent of being able to capture the emotion in each moment, which has made these wedding photos our greatest treasure in the world. We couldn't be happier with the experience we had working with her, or the photos we received. Truly couldn't ask for more from a wedding photographer. 10/10 would recommend. -

I will never have the words to fully describe how amazing our experience was working with Amanda. She is so great at making you feel comfortable while also giving awesome direction and pose advice. Every single one of our engagement and wedding photos are magazine worthy. While I was going through them with my mom and had shown her the first 50 or so she said “are these just your favorites? They are so good” and I had to explain that I hadn’t even chosen favorites yet, they all were just so good. She was professional, on time, easy to communicate with, and a very skillful photographer. We are forever grateful for her talent. She made our wedding day a dream and the photos really captured that! -

Simply the Best Photographer
My goodness, I truly don't know where to begin with how incredible it was to work with Amanda. We worked with her for both our engagement shoot and wedding to say we were thrilled with the results would be the understatement of the century. Amanda is thoughtful, creative and finds the BEST atmosphere for your photos. Her courteousness is one of my favorite things as well; no matter the pressure, she will always make sure you feel comfortable. I cannot recommend working with Oh Lovely Wedding enough. -

You Won't Regret It!
Amanda was absolutely amazing. I'm so glad we found her to photograph our wedding! She arrived to our venue early to scout out photo locations, and she took time to get extra detail and groom shots when I needed more time to get ready. I'm such an awkward person in front of a camera, but Amanda made me feel at ease and the end results are stunning. I can't pick a favorite or even a top 30; they're ALL so beautiful. My biggest wedding fear was picking the wrong photographer. If you relate, pick Amanda from Oh Lovely Wedding. You won't regret it! -

Simply put, Amanda and her assistant were amazingly talented. Amanda has an eye for telling love stories through the use of her beautiful photos. Amanda was so great at managing our large group, getting all our requested photos done, and sneaking us away for some sunset photos in the vineyard that we really wanted to make happen. We are so happy with the results and owe it all to Amanda and Oh Lovely Wedding! Thank you so much. We strongly recommended Oh Lovely Wedding without hesitation! -

Having a good photographer was a top priority for us, so choosing Amanda as our photographer was one of the first decisions we made! She was our #1 choice after seeing her amazing work, and we're so thrilled she was able to photograph our wedding and engagement shoot. She's very professional, communicative, and easy to work with. Getting photos taken can feel a bit awkward at first, but Amanda made us feel so comfortable and was great at telling us just what to do/how to pose, we felt at ease right away! She and her assistant did a wonderful job during our wedding, they knew all the best places to get photos around the venue, and captured all the details and moments of the day. Not only are the photos absolutely beautiful, but she gets them back to you so FAST! I was amazed by how quick the turnaround was, from delivering sneak peaks, to the full set and final edited photos. The final images are so gorgeous and perfectly capture the feelings and aesthetics of our day. We chose to buy a portrait book from her as well, and it was definitely worth it. The book itself is super high quality, and it's a lovely way to showcase some of our favorite wedding photos. I seriously can't say enough good things about Amanda, and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for an amazingly talented, professional photographer!! -

After the engagement bliss the reality of planning a wedding kicked in fast, and to be quite honest the vendor research process was a bit overwhelming. However, our decision to go with Amanda as our wedding photographer was probably the easiest to make, and also one of our best investments ;) Here are a couple of reasons why we absolutely love her:
1.) Her communication from the very beginning was timely and professional. After our initial conversation on the phone there was an undeniable assurance & feeling we wanted to work with her!
2.) During our engagement shoot my husband and I were definitely timid at first, but Amanda made us both so comfortable by directing us every step of the way! She's a master of finding the most perfect locations and being that boost of confidence you need to rock any photoshoot!
3.) On our wedding day she was so focused and incredibly professional. She utilized every hour so efficiently, capturing every moment and detail of our special day.
4.) As busy as she is, her turnaround for pictures is quite amazing. She posted 3 sneak peak pictures 2 days after our wedding on Instagram and delivered all the photos in less than 2 weeks! We received the photos we chose to retouch on our 1 month wedding anniversary, and I must it was the best feeling to relive our special day through all the amazing photos!
5.) Her dedication to her clients is gold standard, if you haven't booked a photographer yet you need to contact Amanda ASAP!!! ;) -

There are not enough words to thank Amanda with Oh Lovely Wedding. She is one of the most professional and kind people we have ever worked with.
She was easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She captured our day beautifully and we are thankful to have these photos to look back on. Echoing other rave reviews, Amanda was absolutely amazing! We found her through Instagram and loved her style from the get-go. We looked at a variety of beach/coastal portfolios and it was difficult to find naturally lit, sunset beach shots from other photographers. She was very communicative and patient with our out-of-town planning. We wanted a La Jolla engagement shoot and Amanda took our site suggestions and tailored a perfect session for us. She made two awkward dorks super comfortable and look amazingly photogenic. We both look so natural, even in the posed shots, not to mention we thoroughly enjoyed our whole session. We are beyond thrilled with both the raw and final edited shots. We loved that she captured us in different settings at a wide variety of scales. She even got soaked standing in the ocean to get a series of amazing wide shots of us and a cliffside! Amanda is professional, easy to work with, and we HIGHLY recommend her. -

Amanda is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! She has a way of making you feel totally comfortable while still remaining very professional. We knew we made the right choice when we saw our engagement pictures, but we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY by our wedding pictures! We have gotten so many compliments just on the raw footage she sent us just days after our wedding! I can't wait to see the edited versions of the photos we chose! We got married in the mountains in January so we had a bit of rain and it was FREEZING, but it didn't even phase Amanda and her partner. She was so organized and efficient in taking all of our photos (and we had almost 1500!) that we got to go back to our wedding reception earlier than we had planned! I would DEFINITELY recommend her! So thankful for the amazing quality of her work that we can look back on for years to come.

I got in touch with Amanda through a friend that hired her for a wedding. Honestly, I don't know what to say, she made my husband and I feel totally comfortable and we're horrible at taking pictures. She really listened to what kind of look I was going for and MAN, did she pull it off! When I got the photos back and started the process of selecting which ones I wanted her to edit, I had the hardest time choosing. I'm not kidding, all of the photos are great! I don't even really think they need to be edited. Amanda you are so talented and I'm so grateful that I got to work with someone like you. Thank you for making our day so memorable! -

It all started with our engagement shoot. Amanda made us feel so comfortable! We completely fell in love with our pictures. A wedding day can be so stressful, but Amanda just handled everything! Alyssa Sent on 10/01/2018By far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Amanda is extremely professional but also has a way of making you feel extremely comfortable throughout your entire day. The moments she was able to capture are unlike any photos we had seen while researching photographers. We have received endless compliments, tears, and gasps when sharing our photos with family and friends. We had quite a large wedding party (20 in all) as well as large amounts of family members- Amanda and her partner seamlessly organized and coordinated taking shots with all involved in a minimal amount of time.
We were so thankful to receive 3 sneak peak photos less than 24 hours after the wedding- they were stunning. We received all 2000 of our photos within 2 weeks. We still need to pick our favorites for her to do the final edits, but so many of them look great as is! Our wedding day was a blur of excitement but Amanda's photos were able to bring us back to some of the most intimate and loving moments of our day. -

The photos are all so beautiful, I had people telling me when they were scrolling through Facebook they thought that they were an advertisement. There are so many beautiful moments that she documented that I didn’t get to take all in on the wedding day and I am so happy that I will have these memories for the rest of our lives. She was incredibly easy to work with, was able to coordinate photographing all of us (and we had a BIG wedding party) without being pushy and captured unbelievable candid moments that I will treasure forever.

Carrie Sent on 12/12/2017Nothing but great things to say about Amanda! We were referred to her through our wedding venue and we are so thrilled!! Let me start by saying our first meeting with her which was for our engagement photos was not going as planned being that not only did my fiancé realize he forgot his pants for the photo shoot 20 minutes before we were supposed to meet her at a park but we also got lost! Needless to say we were almost 45 minutes late! Mind you this is in November and it gets dark at 5 pm and we finally arrived at like 4:15! So we only had 40 minutes to get our engagement photos done! I was so frustrated arriving to the park and Amanda was so great and professional not to mention patient!!! Considering meeting a stranger for the first time we were immediately comfortable right from the start as if I have already known her which was so refreshing! But this girl knew what she was doing! Our photos came out so great!!!! Everything was happening so fast cause we were trying to get as many photos before dark so I was a little concerned because we had to rush! But looking at the photos you would have never noticed that these pictures were done in only 40 minutes I mean they are gorgeous!! Everything from the scenery to the poses she had us do and the editing everything was perfect! And a huge thing we were impressed with was the fact that we got our photos back so quickly!! This girl rocks!! Prices are very reasonable as well!!

She made us feel very comfortable during the engagement photo session. We spoke to her about what kind of photos we wanted and she truly saw our vision. When we saw our photos, she exceeded our expectations and we knew that for our wedding, she wouldn't let us down. She literally captured every moment of our wedding and she also offered to set up a mini photo booth station (which our friends and family absolutely had a blast with!). Our pictures turned out ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. To sum up our experience with Amanda, it was nothing short of perfection. Her ideas are very unique and that is what we like about her. We booked Amanda for our engagement session as well as for our BIG day. I was extremely nervous when taking our engagement pictures & she knew I was but she totally made me feel calm and comfortable. Our family and friends who have seen our photos on her blog LOVE her work. On our wedding day she was on time and started taking pictures right away. Our entire bridal party enjoyed working with her.
