The best choice for an officiant!
We had the pleasure of having Mike as our officiant and I can’t express how happy we are with our choice in him. We had a phone conversation about how we wanted our ceremony to go and he went above and beyond. He’s also very communicative and Everyone raved about how great the ceremony because of how beautiful his wording is. I would 100% recommend him! -

Excellent Experience!!
I highly recommend Mike!! He took the time to talk to us before the wedding to go over all of the details. The day of the wedding he was punctual and made us at ease during the ceremony. He performed a beautiful heartfelt ceremony with just the right amount of humor.

Meaningful Wedding Ceremony
Mike was a great officiant for our wedding this April! He took the time to get to know us and create a ceremony that was meaningful to us since we didn't do our own personal vows. I received many compliments about his thoughtful words and overall great presentation. -

Great guy!
Mike was great leading up to our wedding and really showed us in detail how our wedding ceremony was going to play out. This was great because we were planning our wedding from out of state, so it really helped ease our nerves and allowed us to envision our ceremony! During the wedding he was very punctual and professional and an overall nice guy! He also mails the license in for you the next morning, which is a PLUS! We would highly recommend him to anyone! -

Mike is awesome ! He is great with communication and will make sure your wedding ceremony will go as smooth as possible. He will work with you to make sure you have the ceremony your way. We were very nervous and stressed for our wedding ceremony but Mike made it so easy and stress free for us. He did not disappoint! -

Great Pastor
We had a few people lined up to interview to perform our wedding ceremony. Mike was the first Pastor we interviewed and our last. We felt so comfortable with him from our first meeting. He went over his typical ceremony reading and flow. It was exactly what we were looking for and his personality meshed with ours. He was flexible with all of our wedding date changes due to Covid and was supportive every step of the way. Mike is also very responsive through text throughout the whole process. We were very blessed to have Mike perform our wedding ceremony.-

Pastor Mike
We couldn't have asked for a better person to officiate our wedding! We are so happy Pastor Mike was a part of our special day. He not only did everything as expected, but he also saved me by becoming my "voice" when I couldn't personally express my vows to my husband... What a relief!
Pastor Mike chose the perfect verses to read and added some welcome humor to our wedding. We are grateful and blessed to have found him! -

Extraordinary and Perfect

A heart-warming experience
We are very much delighted of how our wedding ceremony turned out. Mike was easy to communicate with and prompt in answering our messages. On the day of our wedding we had some delays, however he remained patient and professional. We did not have any rehearsal, but it turned out smooth because he was able to guide everyone during the ceremony with his gentle gestures and nudges. His words are truly captivating and meaningful. We are happy that we chose him to be part of our ceremony and we highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for a wedding officiant.

The Perfect Ceremony!
Mike was fantastic! He was very communicative and responsive, and really helped us stay in-the-loop what would happen during the ceremony! He has great energy and makes the ceremony light and fun while still being absolutely beautiful. We had a non-religious ceremony, and it was perfect with the quotes he chose to read and the "hands poem." We did a wine box unity ceremony and everyone told us how it was such a beautiful and thoughtful gesture. And he helped take care of the marriage license! I highly recommend Mike. -

Mike was very easy going and a pleasure to work with. He gave great suggestions to how the ceremony would flow best but still kept our wants a priority. Mike has a great calmness about him which is perfect for anyone that gets nervous in general for big events, like your wedding day! We got many compliments from our guest on the ceremony like, “He was very personable and funny. The whole ceremony was very well done; he drew the guests into the moment." (from Bride's mom). Such a beautiful ceremony
My husband and I got married on Friday March 8th in Temecula and Mike held such a beautiful ceremony. I do not think there was a single dry eye in the crowd! His words were truly so sweet and really brought out the true meaning of why we were getting married that day. Mike was quick to reply to emails, texts and answered any questions that we had. He showed up a half hour before show time to get situated and even took our signed license to the post office for us. I would definitely recommend Mike for your special day! -

Excellent ceremony
Mike officiated our wedding 11/10/2018 aboard Electra Cruises yacht the Eternity in Newport Beach. From our first encounter via Skype we knew we were picking the right person. Mike was pleasurable and very easy to work with. He had some great suggestions and we were very comfortable working with him. After the ceremony we received many compliments on the service. Some of our guests thought Mike was our pastor because of how calm we seemed with him. I would highly recommend Mike to officiate your wedding. -

Mike far exceeded our expectations. He was absolutely phenomenal and we're very glad we ended up choosing him as our officiant. He literally added to our ceremony in a way that will last a life time and all of our guests were very impressed with him, saying things like we "had such a romantic ceremony".
We initially contacted Mike because he had good reviews and a nice voice (super important for your wedding ceremony, right?). From our first contact, Mike was kind, responsive, and professional. He took the time to speak with us on multiple occasions before our big day to ensure he created a ceremony for us that we both loved. In fact, he gave us ideas for our unity ceremony (we ended up going with a wine box unity ceremony, which is now our first official family treasure and something we never would have known about without Mike's help). Thank you again Mike!

Mike was a wonderful choice and addition for our wedding day. My husband and I were looking for someone to officiate a ceremony that fulfilled our wishes, as well as accommodated multiple religious backgrounds and faiths. Mike was extremely professional and personable. We coordinated the wedding and ideas for the ceremony from across the country, and it had an intimate and personal touch, as if though we had known him for a while. Mike's eloquence while speaking and good nature made him a wonderful person to guide us through the most important part of our day, the marriage ceremony. He came to us with many wonderful ideas, but was willing to collaborate and was very flexible to accommodate the ideas we brought to the table as well. He is very reasonably priced, and you can tell very experienced and passionate about what he does. I would highly recommend him to anyone! -

Mike was an excellent officiant. End of review - just kidding, he was awesome though. He made us feel at ease while walking us through the ceremony ahead of time. He was flexible and able to help with our questions. We had a small ceremony and he was able to give tips and make us feel at ease with our choices. He spoke clearly and kept the ceremony going at a good pace; it was probably a 15-20 minute ceremony. Overall great to work with and helpful that he was available for video chat as we were doing a destination wedding. -

We were beyond thrilled with his service - He was willing to incorporate traditional Christian ceremony elements along with Persian ceremony elements, such as the sugar ceremony, and our own vows, all while keeping it light-hearted but meaningful. We contacted mike about a month and a half before our wedding and were so thankful he had our date open! we had a non religious ceremony and it was absolutely perfect! short and sweet which is what we wanted. i would say the ceremony wasn't more than 15- 20 minutes ! very nice, very professional, and answered all of our questions. he even gave us the idea for our unity ceremony which everyone loved the idea of. Our ceremony was beautiful and very heartfelt. It was tailored to us, he made sure our kids were just as much a part of it as we were, really focusing on our becoming united as a family. Mike Milam was the perfect officiant for our wedding. Leading up to the big day he was prompt, professional, and accommodating. He met with us personally to get to know us and provided suggestions for our ceremony. When we asked to make tweaks and changes along the way he was happy to do so. During the day of our wedding he arrived on time and had this amazing respectful, kind demeanor about him that calmed our nerves. He is a great speaker and truly allowed our love to shine through our ceremony on our special day. Looking back on the day, my husband and I both agree that our ceremony was the most special part and our favorite moment. And we couldn't have done it without Mike. -

Mike did our wedding about three weeks ago in Laguna Beach and it was perfect! He was so easy to work with, quick to respond, and made a ceremony our guests can't stop talking about. It was a pleasure to work with someone that truly takes pride in what they do. He really took the time to walk us through the various ceremony options and made us feel at ease during a time which can be stressful. I can't say enough great things about Mike! Pastor Mike did a wonderful job for our wedding ceremony. He kept it short but very sweet and emotional. He communicated very well and fast with us. Met with us in person and provided us a rundown about the ceremony based on our wants and needs. I really enjoyed the fact that he kept the ceremony neutral and yet still gave it the Christian blessing that we were looking for. He took care of getting the marriage certificate signed and mailed. I cannot speak more highly of Mike. In a last minute scramble to find an officiant for our January wedding, I stumbled upon Mike on WeddingWire and was immediately drawn to the fact that he has all 5-star reviews. He definitely did not disappoint! He was incredibly helpful from day one, and has the fastest communication I’ve seen from any wedding vendor I dealt with. He even continued to help when we had a question about our license months after our wedding.
Between the tears and the laughs, we truly couldn’t have picked a better officiant for our big day. My husband and I couldn’t recommend Mike more! -

Mike is WONDERFUL. He married us just a couple of weeks ago in Palm Springs, and we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with such a fantastic officiant. Mike is very professional, well-priced, incredibly responsive, and full of wonderful ideas and suggestions when it comes to planning your ceremony. We ended up putting together a beautiful interfaith ceremony (Christian & Jewish) with his help and input. Mike was eager to make sure that our faiths and personalities were represented in the ceremony language, while also providing us with examples of other beautifully worded paragraphs, versus, and excerpts. Everything flowed seamlessly, and we were very pleased with the way it all came together.
Be sure to ask Mike about the "Hands Poem!" It is absolutely beautiful, and it made almost every one of our guests cry (in a good way!). -

Pastor Mike is amazing! We met him for a consultation at a Starbucks. He went over how he conducts weddings step by step, and then he asked how we wanted the ceremony to go. He will change things up for you or keep it very traditional. We went semi religious and the hands poem and traditional vows. He made simple changes along the way for me, so that we could make our ceremony personal. He is quick to respond to emails and text. He's very easy to talk to and professional. Several guest commented at how great he was and that they thought he did a wonderful job. I would recommend him for sure! -

We really enjoyed working with Mike! Since we had been busy with other aspects of our wedding, my husband and I weren't too familiar with what we needed in our ceremony program, but Mike kindly walked us through the details. He was also very flexible, and worked with us to tailor the program to our liking! This worked out well for us since I wanted a religious ceremony, but my husband did not. Mike provided us with a great ceremony and allowed us to input any details we wanted. Though we asked him to perform a unity ceremony has was not familiar with, he took what we provided to him and created a great ceremony. He was very professional and punctual. Though we had to plan our wedding over emails and text messages, Mike was flexible with a Skype consultation and was always easy to be reached. We were married last month at Wedgewood Upland Hills and the recommended officiant didn't have the greatest reviews, so I researched other officiants in the area and found Pastor Mike. I appreciate that he had a straightforward and informative website and he was also reviewed very well by past couples. My husband and I had our initial meeting with Mike at a Starbucks and we loved his energy. After discussing what a sample ceremony would be and discussing options of personalizing it, we knew immediately that we wanted him to officiate our wedding. We paid a deposit (half of his fee) that day to secure him for the date.
During the planning process he was always responsive to my emails and texts and helped us to personalize our ceremony as much as we wanted as far as the tone (religious), including traditional/cultural elements (coin ceremony) and also a non-traditional portion (love letter/wine box ceremony). Before the wedding he sent us the copy of the ceremony so that I could make sure the order was correct and he even made sure to double check the pronunciations of our names :). The day of the wedding he arrived on time and met with our witness to sign the license before the ceremony. He sent in the license the day after the wedding and we were able to pick-up our certificate after 2 weeks.
As for the ceremony itself, it was perfect! Pastor Mike's words were so touching and meaningful and even my Catholic grandma said that she really liked what he said---that what he said made more sense than anything a priest says at a traditional wedding. Although our families were surprised that we opted not to have a traditional Catholic wedding at a church, we do not regret it one bit. Pastor Mike helped to make our ceremony reflect our personalities, which made it so special. -

My husband and I had met with a few different officiants prior to meeting with pastor mike and the minute we sat down with him we knew we liked him. We met with him months prior to our wedding and he gave us some of the ceremonies he uses. He was very flexible and open to changing the ceremony to make it what we wanted it to be. He allowed me to take things out, add things, and move things around. Our ceremony was beautiful and Pastor Mike did a fantastic job!

We were so happy to have Mike as our officiant. He made our wedding very special and he was willing to drive out of his way to service our wedding day. Mike made the process so simple for us by meeting with us inadvance and explaining the ceremony step by step with my wife and I. On the day of the wedding, he showed up ahead of time and was able to give me a couple words of advice to help calm my nerves. He spoke very well at our wedding and was able to get some laughs out of the crowd as well. My wife and I are absolutely grateful that we were able to have Mike as our officiant and his price is one of the best out there as well! You will not be disappointed in his service. -

Mike is such a wonderful person. He was so proffesional throughout the whole proces till the wedding and during it. He made our day even more special. He made a great speavh,he was very flexible in personilizing our ceremony. It was very beautiful and touchy. Mike was the officiant for our wedding on 4/11/14 in Aliso Viejo, CA. He met with us initially to get an idea of what we wanted and planned out a perfect ceremony for us. Mike was on time and did a wonderful job on our wedding day. He had me in tears as I was saying my vows and during the hand prayer. I am so thankful Mike was a part of our special day. After our officiant had to cancel due to scheduled knee surgery, we contacted Mike through a wedding website. He answered us almost immediately and we set up a time to meet at a local coffee shop. Upon meeting, both my husband and I noticed how relaxed and calm Mike was, while at the same time being professional and listening to all of our questions or concerns. This was the perfect type of atmosphere we wanted for our ceremony, and the officiant is key in setting that tone. After our initial meeting, Mike worked with us via email to personalize a ceremony that he had. We were able to remove a few parts that we felt didn't apply to us, and add in a section of my parents ceremony from nearly 40 years ago. It was a beautiful day, a perfect ceremony, no mistakes or glitches, and exactly how we'd hoped it would be! Please contact Mike if you're looking for a stress-free ceremony provided by very kind and man. -

Mike was the first and only officiant we interviewed before our wedding. As soon as we first talked to him, we knew he was perfect for the job! Mike is very friendly and professional, and we felt very at ease having him be the one who did the most important job of the day... getting us married! He made it very easy for us to personalize the ceremony, and also suggested a couple very unique parts to include as well. He was quick to respond to all my emails and helped us create a ceremony that was absolutely "us"! I highly recommend Mike to everyone!

Pastor Mike is the best, I highly recommend him, and you will not be disappointed! I had chosen someone else a month before our wedding, she was hard to get a hold of and was not very open to customizing the ceremony and although she lived close by I never met her in person nor did she offer. The week before my wedding I had a hard time getting a response from her and when I finally did she was very unprofessional. I decided to find another officiant at the last minute the day after Thanksgiving! I searched for an officiant and had a list of people ready to call on Black Friday two days before our wedding! Pastor Mike was the first one I called at around 8:30 A.M. he answered the phone right away and checked his schedule as I explained my situation. He had a wedding on Saturday but was free for Sunday! We arranged to meet with my mother and I that evening. In one day I had communicated with him more than I did with the other officiant in one month! I felt comfortable with him the first time I spoke with him on the phone and when I met him in person I felt that I had chosen the perfect person to perform the ceremony. He was very easy going and professional, he was also willing to travel to Newport Beach from the Inland Empire and do the whole ceremony on a Gondola! He was already waiting for us at the Gondola of Newport’s office when our small party showed up! The ceremony was flawless and beautiful he gave us a memory that we will always cherish.

Mike is the BEST!! The first time we met him and went over what our ceremony would be like, I cried. He made the ceremony short (so your guests don't get bored), sweet and funny. It was perfect! Whenever I had questions, he got back to me very quickly. He was early the day of the wedding so I didn't have to worry about anything. The whole experience was great! I highly recommend using him. -

Mike was amazing, reasonably priced, and just what we were looking for when we thought of the type of person we would like to have perform our ceremony. He had a wonderful balance of light-heartedness and seriousness about him because he was so friendly and easy to talk to, but very professional, too. When we met with Mike, he provided us with samples of his wording(s) for ceremonies, which were beautiful on their own, but he also made sure we knew that he was completely open to any modifications or adjustments. It's our ceremony and he encouraged us to customize it in any way we'd like.
Contact was simple, through email, call or text--and he always got back to us in a timely manner.
On the day of the wedding, he showed up early and spoke loudly enough during the ceremony that the people in the back of could clearly hear him. (We had 100 guests at our wedding.) He really managed to deliver a simple, beautiful, meaningful ceremony in about 15 minutes. It didn't feel stuffy or too solemn, which was what we were afraid of by wanting someone to perform a more "traditional" style ceremony.
Choosing him to marry us was one of the easiest decisions of our wedding planning, honestly. We decided on it the first day we met with him and I would definitely recommend him to anyone getting married! -
