We rented our tableware (plates, glasses, silverware) and benches for our outdoor ceremony from Ocean Tents. Already stressed out by a million other things, what I needed was an easy experience from start to finish, and Ocean Tents absolutely gave me that. Website was straightforward and easy to deal with, staff via email and phone call were nice, professional, and responsive, we worked out exactly what I needed and they helped me every step of the way. Our rentals were delivered on time, no issues there, and everything LOOKED AMAZING AND WAS GREAT QUALITY. I got exactly what I ordered, no issues.
When it came to pickup, we actually had a misunderstanding over pickup date (which may totally have been my fault, again, I was super stressed out) -- I thought they were coming Monday, so when they called Sunday morning to say they were on their way, I was NOT ready for them. And they were so nice, they restructured their pickup schedule to buy us a few hours so we could get ourselves together, and then the pickup went off without a hitch. Best value for money, great quality equipment, fantastic staff-- what more do you need? -

Ocean Tents put together a BEAUTIFUL reception for our tented wedding! The best ever!
Once we pinned down our location, Ocean Tents was the first vendor we secured for our tented wedding. The entire process was efficient, professional, and we knew we were in good hands from the beginning. All of our guests agreed: The furniture, lighting, decorations, and more were gorgeous! Everything and anything we needed, they had it! They were able to get us an enormous 100' x 60' sailcloth tent, a 30' x 30' Cook's Tent for our off-premise caterer, a smaller tent with high tops for our Cocktail Hour, a beautiful "wood-look" hard floor for our guests to walk and dance on, fans and Portacools to keep our guests comfortable under the tent despite the intense heat, sidewalls at the ready in case of rain, and even a super quiet diesel generator for our DJ, onion lanterns, and bistro lighting. They took care of filing the tent permit with the town, worked seamlessly with our wedding planner Brielle (I Do Wedding & Event Planning, LLC) and our caterer (Falco's Catering), and did a site visit to ensure that they would carry out our vision just as we had planned. On the day of the wedding, we also had an Event Attendant who was able to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Hired ocean tents for my backyard wedding and they were absolutely incredible! The planning process was so easy, and everyone was very responsive and helpful. The company had everything I needed to host ~130 people, including a super nice, clean bathroom trailer. The crew that assembled and disassembled everything were such hard workers, and they were able to execute our vision perfectly. Would highly recommend this company to anyone. -

Stephanie Sent on 09/25/2018I was blown away with my experience with Ocean Tents. We hired them for a tent, tables, lighting, and some additional party items. Their customer service team was always very responsive to any changes I needed to make, right up to a few days before the wedding. I relied on their expertise when figuring out lighting and it came out perfect!!! Their team of on-site staff were friendly and efficient and a breeze to deal with; they showed up bright and early both days, just like we had requested. Payment was super convenient, using an online system. Their catalogue of rental equipment is very extensive, we found everything we needed! I wouldn't hesitate to use Ocean Tents again.

Kym Sent on 08/02/2012Ocean Tent Co was a pleasure to work with from day one, they were very helpful in the planning of the event layout. When they came out to view the land and discuss set up, tables, chairs etc, they were knowledgable and easy to talk to. They worked with our caterer which made the line of communication between them very easy and one less thing I had to do. The set up of the tent was amazing to watch how quickly and efficiently they can work. The set up of the tent, tables, chairs, and lights was fantastic. I was not there for the clean up but I know it was quick because I was back a few hours later and it was done. I look forward to working with them in the future. -

They knew my venue well and set up the whole event early- I didn't worry about a think working with them. They called leading up to the event to tell me that the chairs I selected for our ceremony were looking a bit worn from their busy summer wedding season and gave me an completely free chair upgrade. They were responsive and easy to work with- made my venue and ceremony gorgeous! -

Samara Sent on 08/23/2010Ocean Tent and Party rental provided chairs, tables, and tablecloths for the wedding. The items were at the party location prior to the stated time, which worked out ok, but could have been a problem. One of the tablecloths had stains and holes. Everything else was good. -

I wish they would just include the delivery and set up fee in the tent's cost because seriously WHO is going to set up these huge tents on their own?!?!? We got the wrong color napkins (teal instead of turquoise) but in the whole scheme of things it wasn't that big of a deal and I, as the bride, was the only one who noticed. -

Brooke Sent on 08/25/2013Ocean Tents were unorganized, unprofessional, and a complete disappointment. Our caterer had highly recommended them since they have worked closely with them at numerous events. Words cannot express our dissatisfaction. We spent over $5,000 on rentals from Ocean Tents including linens, tables, chairs, bars, lighting, and a tent. We had met with the owner, Joe Sr., a few weeks prior to our event at our venue to discuss logistics and last minute details. Joe Sr. ensured us that everything would be perfect. Ocean Tents arrived a day prior to our event to begin setting up our tent. Throughout most of the day, several employees spent majority of their time playing on their cell phones, as opposed to constructing our tent. As the day went on, we learned that several items were missing and we were told would be there first thing the following day (the day of our wedding.) While we had hoped to set up a vast majority of our DIY reception the day before, we were now left with added stress the day of our wedding. Once our big day arrived, we were further met with disappointment. Not only were the promised items not delivered on time, but several additional items were missing or incorrect. Several of the chairs were dirty and needed to be cleaned by hand. Our up lighting was the wrong color (pink and blue as opposed to teal) and was basically just placed on the porch. Thankfully, our officiant had worked in the industry for several years and was able to help us set it up. Our sweetheart table was nowhere to be found and our bar was far too big for its location. This was extremely frustrating since we had met with the owner who assured us that it would fit perfectly in the specified location. In addition, when we met with Joe Sr., we were told that the tent would be flush against the awning of our venue so we would not have to worry in the case of inclement weather.
