We found Ocean point and worked closely with Adrian and his team for just shy of a year. Adrian is so responsive, laid-back yet professional in everything that he does!. He made planning a wedding at this venue so seamless and relaxed. Literally a breath of fresh air!. We had about 106 guest, which a good amount stayed at the hotel. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, and from what I got from my guest each one had an amazing view as well. The staff at Oceanpoint from the front desk to the cleaning staff, was also very friendly and professional with helping each guest in anything that they needed. The beach area where we had our wedding and reception was set up so beautifully. And I definitely have to give kudos to the bar staff that worked our wedding. They were so much fun, so friendly with each guest and definitely made the night memorable! -

Great venue
What a great wedding we had here! We had 65 guests come from NY and everyone was so pleased with their rooms, service, pool, food and drinks. We loved working with Adrian and he answered any questions we had along the way. So glad we chose this never because we could not have been happier!! Thank you ocean pointe! -

Adrian was wonderful! He always was quick to respond to my emails as I was planning from afar. Our rooms were ready quickly, the beach was absolutely beautiful for the ceremony, and all star was very friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for my special day to be any more perfect and I owe a lot of that to this amazing team! -

Jessica Sent on 05/05/2015Ocean Pointe Suites was the most beautiful place to get married. You get a beautiful PRIVATE beach which is actually private to get married on (you don't have any people running around trying to get into your pictures) and an amazing terrace to have a reception. It is also ideal for pictures because there are so many great locations to get some wonderful photos. Adrian, whom I worked with the whole time was very accommodating for everything. We had a loss in the family the day before which made the wedding guest list smaller and he worked wonders with changing the bar packages and accommodating us in anyway. I couldn't of imagined a better day at a better place. I have them to thank for all the recommendations as well for the wonderful caterer and the fun DJ. They helped with everything! -
John Sent on 06/13/2018Ocean Pointe Suites is an excellent venue for a wedding. Maral, Adrian, Genevive did everything possible to make our special day fantastic and stress free. The resort had only recently opened after Hurricane Irma, but the team made it happen for us. The renovations made our dream wedding a perfect location within a sensible budget.

User2667986 Sent on 06/29/2016WARNING: I just had my wedding at Ocean Pointe Suites on 6/24/2016. I had lots of family coming in from out of state. Some families stayed over a week at the resort. Total we had over 30 rooms booked. Adrian promised me the world and failed to deliver on that promise. Adrian showed a 5 star room when I was there last year. We took pictures and we so impressed, then 3 weeks before my wedding told me that not all the rooms were 5 star like the one that was showed to us. #2 Adrian stated that all guests would be in the same building, the one closest to the check in area, lets just say not even my mother was in the same building as me and we were spread out across the entire resort. #3 We contracted for an open bar at the wedding and the cost was aprox $5,000.00 I specifically contracted for Jack Daniels and Captain Morgan, when I got to my cocktail hour 40 minutes after it started the bartender told my new HUSBAND (the GROOM) “sorry your guests drink a lot and we ran out of Jack Daniels”. We paid for a 4 hour open bar, how do you run out in 40 minutes? The front gate wanted my wedding planner to call me at 7:45am and wake me up on my wedding day because they didn’t want to let her crew in to start setting up, even though I provided them with a list of vendors 2 weeks prior to my event.
List: 1- no towels, said the truck didn’t come in, no lock on sliding door with small children in room(maintenance said that the install was rushed), closet door fell of hinges onto my nephew (never fixed it), Broken washer, dirty floors (tried to tell me that they just looked dirty) late check ins for wedding guests (so some only had an hour before my wedding to get showered and ready).

First and foremost, we want to thank you, again, for choosing our resort for your wedding and wish you both a wonderful journey together. We can all agree that it was a beautiful ceremony & reception and we are very happy for you both!
With regards to your points listed, we feel it is important to clarify these items for those reading the review:
- We are a condo hotel which means each condo is individually owned and thus things like furnishings/décor can vary. They are all kept up to the highest standards in order to be available to reserve. There are no 2 condos alike regardless of building location. At no time do we “guarantee” a particular styled condo and in this case during the tour of our resort (before the wedding was even contracted) we showed the end user 2 different styled condos to better illustrate the variety. Regardless, it is important to note that we take weddings very seriously and thus the entire wedding group was placed in high category oceanview rooms (normally an upgrade) at no additional charge.
- Our property is comprised of 5 buildings each with a mix of 1 and 2-bedroom condo-suites. When assigning accommodations for a group, our first goal is to make sure everyone has the unit type they reserved and then because they were part of a wedding, that everyone was upgraded to a high category room (again, at no charge). Sometimes this can result in having guests in different buildings.
- To clarify - our full bar did specifically have the alcohol listed in addition to other house liquors, wine selection, mixers, and a variety of beers. Some members of the party wanted specific brands not included in the bar contract.
As a leader in this market for beach weddings, we will continue to work hard to make sure all of our wedding parties and their guests have a memorable stay at our resort.
