We love Oakland Farm! The best way I can describe it is you get the big, beautiful barn of your dreams, yet there’s this sweet small town feel. You’re not just another booking on their calendar, it feels personal, like good old fashion hospitality! From the touring, communication, and being able to stay onsite at the farm house, Oakland made me feel at peace in what could have been a very stressful time wedding prepping. We appreciated never feeling like a bother when having tiny questions before the big day. I could tour anytime I wanted even after booking. I think I visited four or five times? There’s a closet with tables and chairs to use, but they also had a few random items like easels and when asked if we could use it, they swiftly let us borrow these things in a heartbeat! I also valued the flexibility. If I wanted wood chairs outside, they’d accommodate. I love following them on Instagram seeing the many ways they accommodate a bride’s special vision whether getting married on the patio or inside! Oakland was always so kind, personable, and flexible. It really made me feel at peace on our day! The views are STUNNING. You don’t just get that farm feel, but greenery and elegance under the pavilion too! When booking, they provided a go-to list for vendors who knew the property and made the rest of my prep flow with ease! Everything was smooth sailing after booking with Oakland. It all seemed to fall into place with their recommendations! We got married on Friday but had the venue Thursday and Saturday. Us having our wedding at Oakland Farm was something we treasure and I highly recommend a tour for any bride interested! Great place, price, and accommodations. They gave us a gift the day of our wedding we still have on our shelf today. Oakland made it easy and we truly cherish their part in the story of our day!Oakland Farm's reply:

As soon as you step foot onto Oakland Farms property you truly feel all the love and happiness! I was taken away with how beautiful and elegant the barn is and the views it has to offer, especially during the sunset! The Oakland Farm team made it so easy to communicate and was extremely helpful with the wedding planning! Excellent, and professional
As soon as I arrived at Oakland Farms, I knew it was the place for us. We loved that we could do everything at the site. From getting ready, to getting married and having the reception. And the best part was taking the photos. We were even able to get the horses in the background. I recommend anyone I meet that is getting married to go to Oakland Farm. Dream Wedding Venue!
We initially chose Oakland Farm because of the gorgeous venue space! The renovated barn was rustic, yet elegant and the beautiful covered pavilion gave us the peace of mind of knowing we could have our dream outdoor ceremony rain or shine.. which ended up coming in handy on our drizzly wedding day. But the scene was still breathe-taking nonetheless. The cherry on top for me were the adorable cows on site that I was more than happy to incorporate into our day!
Outside of the amazing venue, the staff was phenomenal to work with and made what can be stressful planning so much easier! They allowed us to tour the site multiple times so that all sides of the family could check it out before the big day and they were so accommodating when it came to preparing for our rehearsal and wedding day. They were so prompt to answer any emails with questions I had and were very helpful with ideas on how to best set up the space for the number of guests we had.
Simply cannot rave about Oakland Farm enough.. I wish we could relive our wedding day there over and over again!

Simply amazing.
I cannot say enough good things about this venue AND the venue manager, Kaitlyn. I wanted a fall Garden & Gun aesthetic which the farm house and property lent themselves too with ease. Kaitlyn was also just extremely helpful and really helped make sure our day was perfect. She helped answer any question I had, no matter how small. Also, if I needed to check out venue spacing, measure something or just need another visual of the venue, she made sure we could get out there as many times as we needed, which was extremely helpful. We did a sit down buffet dinner for 165 people, 8 of those being seated at a family table. There was plenty of space inside to accommodate all of that and a DJ. We did use the covered patio for cocktail hour though. The property itself is stunning and a great for photos, especially in the fall! The cottage is great for the bridal party to get ready the morning of too. We had 15 people (5 of those hair and makeup with equipment) and had enough space for everyone to be comfortable and relax while getting ready. It’s also well stocked with toiletries for those little things we forget! In all, I’d use the venue again and again. They’re amazing.Oakland Farm's reply:

This venue is perfect if you're looking for a private farm venue with scenery. It has a covered outdoor pavilion if you want an outdoor ceremony and indoor space if you want an indoor ceremony. The inside space in the barn is perfect for any reception. The farmhouse on the venue made it super convenient to stay in the night before so we could start getting ready first thing in the morning and it comfortably sleeps up to 10 people! The pastures and trees made for beautiful photos, especially in the fall with all the colors! Would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a versatile, rustic farm venue!Oakland Farm's reply:

We are so thankful for our wedding experience at Oakland Farms. It was the perfect day at the most perfect venue. We loved how private and personal our event was. This was made possible by the amazing team at Oakland Farms. We are so thankful for everything they did to help make our day amazing. When you wish upon a star…you’ll find Oakland Farm
My husband and I both grew up in the country. When we got engaged, we both knew we wanted a piece of home to be a part of our ceremony. We spent a big chunk of our time searching for the right venue for us. Touring Oakland, it did not take us long to realize this was the perfect wedding spot for us! From the moment you pull in the driveway, you are taken down a beautiful green tree line. Then, it opens up into the rustic yet charming grounds of the venue. There is a pasture with the most adorable Oreo cows and friendly horses, a quaint farmhouse that can be used for staying the night and getting ready, and the beautiful grand barn and pavilion in the distance. If you plan on having your wedding here, I highly recommend the overnight package! That way, you and your bridal party can take in the venue as much as possible! On top of the beautiful place, the staff is just as sweet and incredible! We would recommended this place to anybody and everybody!! We had our February 2022 wedding at Oakland and we could have not had a better experience!!! The venue was BEAUTIFUL and their Venue Manager was a dream to work with. She was so sweet! She was prompt to answer our questions, send us vendor information, made sure we had all we needed for our big day, and worked so well with our vendors and wedding planner !! We weren’t able to actually get married here due to covid, but we were able to have our wedding reception a year later. I enjoyed every second of working with Kaitlyn. This venue was absolutely perfect for us. The beauty of it is one thing but Oakland Farm goes above and beyond with helping in every way they can. We got the pleasure of working with Kaitlyn. She is so incredibly helpful and so sweet. She got back with me quickly with my endless questions! They really make you feel like family. Definitely go with this venue!
Oakland Farm is an amazing venue. Kaitlyn - the venue manager - is amazing to work with! She makes sure everything runs smoothly and is so quick to respond to questions. We loved being able to do an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception. The outdoor pavillion is covered and has fans so you could use it when it's raining or hot. The barn is so pretty and well maintained. We even spent the night in their farmhouse which is where we got ready before the wedding - it made it super easy for us so we didn't have to drive anywhere after the wedding.Oakland Farm's reply:

Within two weeks of proposing, my wife and I had secured our date with Oakland Farm and were beginning our planning for the big day. That's how quickly we got a response and assistance with getting a venue. Kaitlyn made the process very easy and she does a great job at helping couples prepare for their wedding. The venue itself is very beautiful and we wouldn't have wanted to have our wedding anywhere else! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone preparing for their wedding.Oakland Farm's reply:

Perfection!!
Our wedding was perfect! I couldn't imagine the day being any more perfect, and that is thanks in part to Oakland Farm and their Venue Manager, Kaitlyn! The venue is so beautiful, my new wife wanted to get married there the moment she saw it! In addition to that, every interaction we had with Kaitlyn was wonderful! She was friendly, helpful, flexible to our needs and schedule, and made the stress that comes with planning a big day not so scary! We absolutely loved the whole experience and encourage anyone looking for an event venue to check this place out!

The Perfect Venue for Raleigh Couples
We truly had the BEST experience working with Oakland Farm. Kaitlyn is so fun and easy to work with. We struggled to find a venue in Raleigh that allowed us to be flexible and didn’t charge us an absurd amount of money. Eventually we expanded our search to include Sanford, and we are SO pleased that we did. Oakland Farm gave us the freedom to make our wedding be exactly what we wanted it to be, and Kaitlyn was there to help and answer questions through every point in the process. First, the venue is beautiful. The pavilion, where I had my ceremony, has lovely views and can be set up anyway you may envision. We held our reception inside the barn and loved how much space we had for both seating and a dance floor. Additionally, the farmhouse is included the day of, and it was so much fun to use it as a space to get ready.
Another perk of the venue is they do not have a required vendor list. For us, this was a big deal because it allowed us to more completely customize our wedding day. That being said, the venue does have a preferred list and has great working relationships with nearby vendors and can always make a recommendation if needed.
And while all this is great, the best part about Oakland is Kaitlyn, the venue manager. She was absolutely incredible to work with!! She is friendly and helpful and great at her job. She always went above and beyond when we needed anything or had any questions. She jumped to help when our photographer cancelled on us last minute and she helped with so much the day of.
In sum, I can NOT recommend Oakland enough and I'm confident your wedding day will be wonderful here!Oakland Farm's reply:

I had a great experience working with Oakland Farm. Their property is beautifully kept and a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding. The venue is clean and an ideal space for a reception with lots of natural light from the windows. It is also airconditioned which is a must-have in the south! I found delivering the wedding cake was easy as everything is at ground level so you can roll your cart right in. Kaitlyn was helpful and friendly to work with too. If you're looking for a lovely farm venue with all the charm, scenic backdrops, and modern amenities, I highly recommend Oakland Farm.Oakland Farm's reply:

My daughter and her fiancee chose Oakland Farm for their June wedding. They used the covered outdoor pavilion for the outdoor ceremony and the air-conditioned barn for their reception. The venue also includes a lovely farmhouse that the wedding party used to get ready. The manager, Kaitlyn, was really wonderful to work with and was very prompt to answer any questions. The farm is home to several cows and very friendly horses. Many of the guests enjoyed greeting and taking photos with them. The entire property is just lovely and we are really looking forward to seeing the photos.Oakland Farm's reply:

Our contact, Adam, made sure everything was absolutely perfect for our wedding day. The facility is gorgeous, spacious, and makes a lot of sense logistically (bathrooms are easy to locate, etc.). Oakland Farm was everything I wanted!!

Oakland Farm was the best venue! The venue manager, Kaitlyn, was so kind, responsive, and helpful (especially as we were planning a wedding during a pandemic). Oakland's amenities (such as tables/chairs, dressing room spaces, and onsite parking) provided us with a great value for money. They provide great recommendations for vendors as well but don't require those vendors to be used. I know our vendors we chose that weren't on their preferred list greatly enjoyed working with the venue as well. Oakland is simple but gorgeous venue that provided us with the relaxed but classy souther & rustic wedding we desired. We felt so comfortable throughout our wedding day. Had a wonderful wedding at Oakland Farm. The venue was gorgeous and our family and friends loved it. Everything was provided when and as promised. The vendors from their approved vendor list were also great. We experienced unexpected staff turnover which I think is actually unusual for this venue, but everyone we dealt with was great and we had no issues. -
