We could not ask for more!!

WOW-- we are absolutely blown away by Oak City Films and their entire team. From our first meeting to receiving our full wedding film, it was truly a pleasure to have Oak City Films capture our big day. They captured our tears, laughter, and love just perfectly... did I mention we barely knew they were there on our wedding day?! Aside from assuring we were enjoying our special day, they blended in with the rest of our guests. Highly recommend!

Oak City Films did an amazing job with our wedding video. They captured the most memorable moments of our wedding day and beautifully edited them together into a film that we will enjoy watching over and over. It really feels like we are reliving this special day again when we watch the film! We love that we have a longer length video with the full ceremony, speeches by the wedding party, and our first dance and then a short highlight film which was great for posting on social media. Overall, we would highly recommend Oak City Films. They were a pleasure to work with and we will definitely use them for any future videography needs!

Great Video!

The footage taken by Oak City films was spectacular. We definitely re-lived the wedding by watching the video. The production quality was on par with Hollywood! We look forward to re-living the memory of our wedding again and again!

Amazing all around!

Oak City Films is an incredible company and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a videographer. They were so easy to work with and required a total of 15 minutes of my time (if you are a bride planning a wedding, you know how important this is). They managed to capture so many special details of our wedding and put it into a stunning video that I have watched countless times. Beautiful, high quality wedding videopraphy!

When it became clear that we had to downsize our wedding because of the pandemic, my now husband said he would find a videographer to film and stream our ceremony-- and I am so glad he did. Chase at Oak City Films was a pleasure to work with-- he was responsive, professional, and really understood what we were looking for. We really enjoyed working with him and absolutely love the video of our wedding ceremony! Being able to see our guests’ faces and relive the moment we exchanged vows and became husband and wife is just amazing; we will cherish it forever. Many of our friends and family who watched the ceremony over Zoom commented that the video and audio quality was really superb. Outstanding videography and professionalism!!

The enter Oak City Films team was outstanding from start to finish and we could not have been more pleased with the quality of how they captured our special day! With COVID we were even able to include out of town guests in the wedding through the Zoom feature which was seamlessly set up and had over 50 people able to watch the wedding from so many angles! They captured all the details of the ceremony and reception with so much emotion. The special wedding video was like watching a reality tv show and family and friends were so impressed by the high quality. We will be able to cherish these memories forever thanks to their outstanding job. Amazing people, incredible videos, and great service!

I cannot recommend Oak City Films enough! Nathan and his team were so easy to work with, with great communication and service! We ended up having to transition our wedding due to COVID-19 and their team was able to live stream our wedding for other guests to view which was very special.
Our wedding videos are so incredible and we could not be happier with the final product! We will cherish our videos forever and we highly recommend using them for your special day!

Amazing!!!

I loved my experience with Oak City Films. The video came out amazing! I absolutely love it. They captured and summarized the whole day so beautifully. The team was also so easy to work with. Superb Videography Team

Oak City Films was an absolute joy to work with, and my husband and I can't thank them enough for the incredible job they did capturing our special day on film. We were one of those couples who originally decided against hiring a videographer, and I'm so glad that our wedding planner persuaded us to hire Oak City Films. From our first in-person meeting to the wedding day, Nathan and his team were incredibly patient in answering all of our questions and listening to our special requests. Sean and Chase (who filmed our wedding day) did an exceptional job and were such a blast to work with (and they made me laugh despite all of my wedding day jitters!). While filming, they blended so seamlessly into the background that we forgot they were even there.

The finished product is more than we could've ever hoped for. It's the perfect blend of all the day's highlights (getting ready, ceremony and vows, speeches and dancing) accompanied by great music. We can't wait to watch this over and over again in the years to come.

We Highly Recommend Oak City Films!

We are so happy that we worked with Oak City Films for our rehearsal and wedding videography! Sean, Chase, and Nathan were wonderful to work! I was nervous I might feel self conscious having videographers capturing the day, but they seamlessly worked to get our video footage without interfering, so I forgot they were even there rolling. They made everyone feel at ease, and we were happy to have them be part of our special weekend. Also, they worked really well with the photographers and our other vendors, and as a result they captured the best moments of the wedding. Our video footage is just what we were hoping for: a beautiful short film to remember the day and beautiful footage of the ceremony, dances and speeches. I would get married all over again to hire Oak City Films.

To say that Nathan and his assistant went above and beyond would be such an understatement. I knew we picked the right videographer when we met them and I just finished crying in the car (and not happy crying) and they asked what was wrong and genuinely cared. Fast forward to our wedding day, they again went above and beyond. They could tell when me or my husband started getting overwhelmed and they pulled us aside to give us a moment to breathe and not lose track of what that day is all about. Nathan genuinely cares so much for his clients and the product that he delivers is so, so special and you can tell he puts his heart into each video. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things. Oak City Films captured our wedding day better than we ever could have imagined!!! Never at any point did I feel like they took away any of the intimacy of our wedding or any of the fun at the reception. My husband and I never once felt awkward or uncomfortable with them. Worth every penny!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to have Oak City Films for our wedding . During the planning process, we kicked around the idea of hiring a videographer but we were so cautious because there are just so many expenses that go into planning a wedding. So wonderful to work with and so good at what they do! Half the time we didn't even know they were there! When we received our film after the wedding, it confirmed for us that spending the money to hire them was the best decision we made for our wedding and the best money spent! The BEST Wedding Videographer in the Raleigh Area!

Great experience all around! Nathan and his crew were fantastic to work with before, during and after our wedding. They are very responsive and work hard to make sure the final product is something that is awe inspiring. We fealt super fortunate that Nathan was able to be part of the filming crew. His level of experience in filming, his familiarity with the venue and his skills in editing were incredible. He and his film crew blended in and you rarely noticed them. Best wedding investment

We weren't sure we needed a wedding video, however looking back my husband and I both agree that it is probably the best investment we made during the wedding process. Since we live out of the area, they skyped with us prior to the wedding day and had us fill out a detailed questionnaire to get to know us better and to learn our preferences/priorities. Their team did a great job of capturing the day without us even really knowing they were there. They are so discreet, professional, and easy to work with.

Happy Tears

Leading up to our wedding, we spent about 2 months reviewing cinematographers in and out of our area. I had come across Oak City Films' work and I knew I had to have them when a short video of complete strangers had me in TEARS. Their ability to capture a love story in such a brilliant, artistic, and creative way is simply amazing. About 6 weeks to my wedding date, I had an opportunity to sit down with Nathan, the owner, and it was incredible how comfortable he made me feel. Initially, we were on the fence about getting a videographer for our wedding.

Raleigh NC Videographer

We were initially on the fence about getting a videographer but we are so glad we did. Add ons can get expensive. However, we were so busy with photos, talking to people, eating, and dancing it quickly ended up being the end of the wedding before we knew it. I hands down recommend getting a videographer you will be so busy enjoying your wedding. Nathan was personable and even suggested some other shots we may not have gotten with our photographers as well. They were easy to work with. We already love the teaser and can't wait to see our short 3-5 minute film and the whole ceremony and reception. Thank you for capturing our wedding for the parts we may have missed due to other duties. They were on the preferred vendors list at our venue and they are preferred for a reason :)

Nathan and Ashley did both my twin sister and I's wedding and they did an amazing job. When we received our wedding film we both sobbed during it and it has been on repeat in our house since we first watched it. You will not regret hiring Oak City Films! They perfectly captured our wedding day and were great to work with. The short film had all of the highlights in order including voice-over parts from our ceremony and toasts! I could not have asked for a better experience from Oak City Films. Nathan and his team were superb in every facet of the event/production of the video. Nathan was timely, responsive, and an absolute joy to work with. Oak City Films operated in a manner in which they caught every aspect of the wedding/reception while also staying out of the way... seemingly invisible. The video that Oak City Films put together has been on loop at my house as well as my parents and in-laws... it is that good. Working with Oak City Films was effortless. The videographers spent time not only documenting the "event", but took the time to get to know the family, wedding party, and friends of the bride and groom. Every person was made to feel important and special. Videographers can sometimes become obstacles to "being in the moment"; as they invade spaces to get "that special shot." Oak City Films became nearly invisible in the room. They were part of the scenery, capturing the love and joy among all participants at John and Caitlyn's wedding and reception. After viewing the video montage, I find myself going back to the film over and over again, each time noticing something new each time. How Oak City Films was able to capture so many relationships and nuances among family and friends is beyond my comprehension. The music, chosen by Oak City Films, was perfect. It underscored the beauty and love of the occasion. It makes me hope that this is only the first of many events which Oak City Films will "document" in our lives.

From our initial meeting with Nathan I knew he was the PERFECT choice for our December wedding. He was able to work with our budget, was very detail oriented, and has a very laid back style that I really appreciated during the hustle and bustle of wedding planning! On our wedding day Nathan and team were prompt, discreet, beyond professional, and meshed perfectly with our other vendors. His turn around time is fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed seeing a "teaser" to share with family and friends not even week after the wedding!
Nathan is extremely talented and knowledgeable but he is also caring, kind, and delivers the most beautiful videos around. We have watched ours over and over and I know our wedding video will be something we treasure forever thanks to his beautiful work. Selecting a videographer is not an easy decision, but when I found Oak City Films I knew instantly that I wanted Nathan and his team to capture our wedding day. Their videos stood out (in a very large field) as true examples of high quality, professional work. Communicating with Nathan prior to our wedding day was a breeze and he gave us lots of good advice along the way. The day of, our schedule was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances but he handled it smoothly and professionally, ensuring that we were able to get all the shots we wanted. Nathan is absolutely amazing. If you are going to splurge on anything, splurge on a videographer, specifically Nathan. He filmed our wedding and we just received the teaser which looks amazing!

Nathan met with my husband and I ahead of time to get to know us and about our wedding party, where we knew each other from, our venue, the small and important details of our wedding, what was important to us, etc. This allowed him to capture those small fleeting moments that a couple has during their wedding day, those little things that you will want to remember. He was professional and understanding the whole time and allowed the process to be stress free.

I would recommend Nathan and Oak City to anyone and everyone who is looking for a videographer. Just book him, you won't regret it! Thank you Nathan!!!

We hired Nathan to film our daughter’s wedding in December and we were very pleased and impressed with his work! Nathan was extremely responsive to questions and very willing to work with us to customize a package that provided what we wanted, within budget. He seemed very laid back, very familiar with our venues and the “rules” that went along with them. When it came to the wedding weekend, he was one of the hardest working professionals we’ve seen, not to mention extremely friendly and easy to work with. He captured all the special moments and a lot of spontaneous candids, all the while remaining unobtrusive. He is extremely talented and the “sneak peek” video he provided within days of the wedding was absolutely gorgeous! If you are seeking to commemorate your event with a video or Slow Motion Booth you do not need to look any further than Oak City Films. We hired them as a videographer and for the Slow Motion Booth for our daughter and new son-in-law’s wedding, and they by far exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt it was the best money that we spent on their wedding. We were already over the budget and at first were hesitant to add a videographer and Slow Motion Booth to it because we were unsure if the investment would be worth it. But we have said many times since their wedding day that we are so grateful that we did. Oak City Films is worth every penny and much more!

Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had in the Slow Motion Booth. Nathan and Shawn arrived early to set everything up and stayed all evening capturing every special moment of Sherer and Zack’s wedding day as well as the fun and laughs in the booth. They both were very professional and easy to work with and did an amazing job of getting the perfect shots during the wedding and in the booth. The music that Nathan put with the videos was perfect, too! We have watched the wedding video and Slow Motion Booth video over and over again. It’s like living that incredible day all over again each time we watch the videos. We have laughed and we have cried every time we watch it, and the best part is we have been able to share the videos with family and friends that were unable to attend the wedding. These videos are a treasure to our family and someday can be shared with Sherer and Zack’s children and grandchildren. What an awesome keepsake for them!

Nathan positively went above and beyond to provide us top quality videos, and we would definitely hire Oak City Films again and again for a special event. Booking Oak City Films was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding day. Nathan and Sean are both so amazing! They were friendly, fun, and professional, and we couldn't have asked for anyone better to capture every moment of our special day so perfectly! Nathan sent us our wedding teaser within a week after our wedding and then our highlight film came very soon after that! The video was such high quality and breathtakingly beautiful. I would absolutely recommend Oak City Films!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited to hear that Nathan Morris, owner of Oak City Films, was available for my wedding on October 28th. I fell in love with Oak City Film's website and even teared up looking at the beautiful short films that were done for previous couples. Perhaps the vendor I am MOST grateful towards after reflecting on our wedding is Oak City Films. We decided to get a videographer somewhat last minute and we felt like it was fate that Oak City happened to be available. Not only was Nathan so incredibly friendly and flexible, our short film was INSANELY INCREDIBLE. Tom and I are committed to watch our wedding video every anniversary as part of our "marriage game plan" to keep our marriage lasting and strong. Nathan captured moments that I didn't even know happen, and for this I am forever grateful. Our wedding videos and short film are incredibly cherished by my husband and I. There is no better choice than Oak City Films!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would recommend over and over and over again. Working with Oak City was an absolute dream! We worked with Nathan in particular, and he helped us at every stage of the process: he helped us craft a video package for our budget, he stayed in contact before our big day to answer our questions, provide advice, and let us know that he would help if we needed a break from our guests or wanted to capture a specific moment. On our wedding day he was friendly and professional, and the final product was breathtaking. A great photographer and videographer were must haves on our wedding list. Once we found our photographer the hunt was on for a videographer. Our photographer was the one who first recommended Oak City Films to us. We reached out and immediately loved both Nathan and Ashley. My husband (fiancé at the time) was on the fence because of the price, but once we saw their work he was sold. We cannot say more good things about Nathan and Ashley. Their work truly speaks for themselves. We live in Washington, D.C. but had our wedding in Durham, NC and they made the entire process so smooth and easy. On our wedding day they were both so comforting and so professional. They just fit right in seamlessly that for the most part I didn't even realize they were there.

Oak City Films was such a pleasure to work with. We did just the highlight reel and it came out perfect. The highlight reel was at a reasonable price and just couldn't be beat. Nate was very flexible and made sure I was happy the entire process. On the wedding day, it was very hot and Nate made sure that the groom and I and the other bridal party members (and the photographer who didn't work with him) had water outside during pictures and what he was capturing. We were referred to Oak City Films by our wedding venue. It was a last minute decision to add videography to our special day. We are so very glad we did! They were so professional and had a great personality. They blended right in with our wedding guest. They captured all of our special moments and blended them together for several great videos. Nathan Morris and Sean Junqueira from Oak City Films were friendly and great to work with during our wedding. They were professional and so good at what they were doing that it was not even evident to our guests that they were shooting video. We received our video a week after the wedding and we have enjoyed all the special moments that they captured that day. I cannot help but think that finding both of these fine people was strategically planned by God. Oak City was one of the very first sites listed and I began to investigate. I loved what I saw and felt mesmerized by each of the videos that I clicked to watch. Nathan, my husband and I met for coffee and we hit it off from the beginning. I even warned him about the possible craziness of our "typical" families that he may witness on our special day. That encouraged Nathan even more to tackle the job! :) The day of was exactly as Nathan had described... Crazy! but he was there for every shot we had discussed, and many times I didn't even know he was until I saw the final video. Nathan truly has an incredible gift that I have rarely ever seen. This gift of creating masterpieces for generations to cherish has many facets, and Nathan and Ashley have mastered them all. You can feel the kindness and hospitality immediately upon meeting and it doesn't cease. It continues even after you receive the final product. The experience with Oak City is second to none. I lost my Father about the time that we received our final wedding video. Although my Father and I were not close, I was so heartbroken, because my wedding was our last time together. I quickly reached out to Nathan to see if there was any possibility he had any extra film of my Dad that was not included in the film for my sisters and I to cherish. Thankfully he did and we all cried together as we watched what he sent us. That's the kind of service that is not easily found. I wouldn't change the experience for anything. I now consider Nathan and Ashley family because of their services and I would hope anyone reading this would allow them to touch their lives as they have so dearly touched mine.

We hired Oak City Films for their Slow Motion Booth and it was such a hit!!! Everyone loved it, especially since it's not as common as a Photo Booth. Nathan was so great to work with as well! Working with Nathan and Ashley was one of the best decisions we made regarding our vendors, especially considering we almost didn't have a videographer at all! It was late in our planning process and we thought having a photographer would capture all our memories, but from the first consultation with Oak City Films we knew it would be a mistake to not have them as part of our storytelling team.

Nathan and Ashley play off each other well to form a courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient duo. They gave us great advice as we planned for the big day and went above and beyond throughout the editing/delivery process too; we got far more than we paid for in terms of quality and quantity. Nathan and Ashley were wonderful to work with. They responded quickly to all of our questions, and very willing to work with us to get the shots we wanted in the video. Oak City Fims by far exceeded my expectations. They were everything I could have wanted and more in a wedding videographer. Nathan took time to meet with us prior to the wedding to get a good feel of Ben and I and to make sure everything was lined up perfect. Him and his wife, Ashley were the perfect team the day of the wedding. They were very easy to get in contact with and always quick responses. Our wedding video is something we will cherish always. I cry almost every time I watch it. I cannot say enough good things about this couple. Oak City Films videographer was the best wedding purchase of all.

To any brides contemplating hiring a videographer, DO IT!!! You will not regret it. When the wedding is over, your flowers will die, your food will be eaten, but your wedding video will last forever. I highly recommend Oak City Films. Much love and thanks to Nathan and Ashley!

Could have not asked for a better videography team then Nathan and Ashley! Just celebrated our 1 year anniversary and was reminded on how wonderful they are. One of the best investments for our wedding. If you are on the fence, you must hire this team! Loved having them around the day of the wedding. Both were so nice and calm throughout everything! Nathan and Ashley were such an amazing duo to work with! Saying thank you is just not enough for everything they have done for us. Our wedding video captured the beauty and emotion of our wedding perfectly. We watch our videos over and over again and cannot imagine what our wedding would have been like without Oak City Films. Where do I begin? From the beginning Nathan and Ashley were absolutely phenomenal to work with. We couldn't have had a better duo capture our day. They were (and continue to be) so responsive and total professionals. Over multiple emails threads and coffee dates these two made sure they had a complete understanding of my husband and I. They wanted to take the time to get to know us and essentially befriend us! We clicked right away!

You can see the passion and love of what they do in each and every video they create. My husband, family, and I all 100% agree this was by far our favorite wedding investment! On the day they had such a calming essence about them. Honestly, other than being a helping hand, making sure we were hydrated, and comfortable, I barely noticed they were there. They captured every moment perfectly, but were somehow still "behind the scenes." Also, coming home from our honeymoon to a "sneak peek" of our wedding video was such a gift. Even that 30 second clip allowed us to briefly relive such an AMAZING day.

Now --- the video. It's truly cinematic! The video they created for us captured the beauty and every emotion from getting ready to the grand exit. We have been watching our video on repeat (I tear up every time) and cannot get enough of it! Family and friends have reach out to us personally to express how absolutely stunning our wedding video is and that they cried through the whole thing.

I could go on and on, but I can't express this enough! Do not look any further than Oak City Films if you plan to hire a videographer for your wedding day. Our video will be cherished for years and years to come.

We are SO lucky to have had Nathan and Ashley as our videographers for our wedding day!! Their attention to detail and genuine love for what they do shows through in their work and made them an obvious choice for us. From the very beginning they were so professional and easy to get along with.

We had an out-of-town wedding, and were about 3 hours from our venue, which we knew could make working with all of our vendors a little tricky. But with the Oak City Films duo, we never felt like the distance was a challenge. Nathan and Ashley were so accommodating, making special time to meet with us and were always so quick to get back to us on any questions we had (and we had many – which they so kindly answered every time). They kept in touch with us throughout our entire engagement, which was over a year, and were always checking in to see if we needed anything from them and even sometimes just to let us know they were excited for us. Little notes like that can mean so much.

When it came to our wedding day, they were prompt and ready to get to work right away. While getting ready, I had a glitch with my dress and somewhere in transport the main clasp on the back came off – which to a bride can seem like your worst nightmare. Ashley quickly stepped in though, and reassured me she came prepared with a sewing kit and the ability to fix it. In that moment she didn’t have to help, Ashley could have easily taken a break from filming while my family, friends, and I panicked. She instead showed us that we had hired not only an amazing videographer, but someone who genuinely cared about our day going smoothly. To say they both went above and beyond for us would be an understatement.

Nathan and Ashley are so talented and bring a special flare to their work that will absolutely catch your eye! We cannot thank them enough for capturing all our special moments so perfectly and giving us the best wedding gift we could have asked for – our amazing video we will cherish forever.

We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful couple to capture our favorite day. Nathan and Ashley were amazing. They were responsive and helpful leading up to our wedding and made our big day a dream. Watching our wedding video, it is everything that we could have wanted and more. They captured everything beautifully - from our personal vows, to sweet private moments together, to my choreographed dance with my mom.

Aside from the message at our ceremony, the aspects I cared most about for our wedding day were photography and videography. Your wedding day goes by so quickly and it was important to my husband and me that we have captured memories to look back on for the rest of our lives. city films filmed our wedding . Our wedding was not the typical American wedding we had a cultural wedding and we had so many requests such as wanted the full 5 hour event covered . Working beyond normal hours , first look , outdoor and indoor Cinemax , and many odd requests that any videographer we spoke too either 1) refused to do it because it's not something they would feel comfortable doing or 2) the price was crazy ridiculously ! However , the second I spoke to Nathan , he was very interested in hearing about our love story , what we exactly wanted , he asked about our time line in depth and details , and learned about our culture and embraced it . When we met Ashley and Nathan , you know how amazing of a team they are . They did an amazing job with not only capturing our wedding , but also they kept us calm the whole time when everything was going south and we were running late lol . They did a better job than our wedding planner . They planned our first look with Prestonwood country club in which they ordered a golf Cart and everything was super organized .the Cinemax was amazing they got every single detail, they had 4 cameras and one camera was from the sealing/top . The video turned out amazing and everyone loved the quality of the film. It was difficult at the beginning to explain to any videographer the Chronological order of a middle eastern wedding because we did not have the typical ceremony and reception but Nathan and Ashley embraced it and were more than willing to accept any request we wanted . they did an AMAZZZZZIIING JOB . We are very lucky to have worked with them , the end result is amazing !

We cannot emphasize enough how wonderful it was to work with Nathan and Ashley. Not only were they very proactive in obtaining all wedding schedule logistics, extremely efficient within a limited planning time frame, and professional in all regards, but their end product - a 7 minute highlights video + full wedding footage - FAR exceeded the already-lofty expectations we had built from watching their past work. Initially, we researched 10+ videographers, narrowed it down to 2, and then met in person with Nathan and Ashley and the other candidate. The difference between the two was incredible; we instantly knew Nathan and Ashley they were the ones we wanted to document our special day. We just received the competed highlights video and we LOVE it!! They did a fantastic job editing everything and really captured the spirit of the day. This was the best investment we made for our wedding by far! Nathan and Ashley were amazing. They were so fun to work with. They are upbeat and obviously love what they do. The wedding highlight film was such an awesome keepsake to have. We got it on our honeymoon and it was an amazing experience being able to relive our day through their eyes. The editing and the music were beyond our expectation. I almost forgot that we would receive more footage in the mail. They packaged a customized USB so beautifully and we were able to get excited all over again! I love being able to watch all the important moments from the wedding, especially because everything goes by so fast! I hope to have more special events so we can use them in the future!!!

Listen here future bride and groom; look no further for your videographer than Oak City. These guys are legit the BEST in the business and there is a reason they get 5/5 stars in every category. You know how some people are just meant to be (fill in the blank)? This is Ashley and Nate. They are straight up talented like nothing I've ever seen. They take the time to get to know each couple and they take the time to make sure everything is perfect. They became not just vendors but our friends, because they are just awesome people. Ashley was "one of the girls" on my wedding day. There's so many more wonderful things I can say but just check out their site and watch their videos.

I can't say enough great things about this company! They were professional, quality work, easy to work with, quick to respond, and the price was worth every penny! They were spot on. They did great working with my photographer who they had never met before. They made me look beautiful and elegant. They captured the essence of our day and my family and I are so please. My mother has family friends calling her crying saying what a gift watching the video was.

If you are a bride who is on the fence about using a videographer, do it! Oak city films is worth it! You will not regret using this team. It is such a great way to remember your big day, and they captured moments that I totally forgot about or even parts I had missed, so it was great looking back on so many amazing moments. If you want to have the best experience and receive an exceptional video hire Nathan & Ashley! What they do is just shy of a miracle! They don't make videos they make films that tell a story - your real love story. When you watch your film/video you will feel like you are in a movie theatre watching something from Hollywood. You can tell all the time that they put into editing because it really shows. We hired Nathan & Ashley for our daughter and new son-in-law's wedding and it was the best money ever spent. They started shooting while the bridal party was getting ready and filmed all the way to almost the end of the evening. They were very nice and personable and even helpful when our daughter & bridesmaids needed help getting jewelry on. They were extremely professional too. They worked so well together as if they could read each other's minds. They moved around getting shots, even working with our photographers, but they were never in the way. We were amazed at how relaxed we all were with them being there because they could talk to you without you realizing what they were doing. While the dances were done and the toasts were made and the cake was cut you could see them filming the very best "once-in-a-lifetime" moments. But none of those embarrassing shots of people talking to the camera that look stupid. Our final production made us laugh, sigh and cry, and laugh some more. It was beautiful! We felt like we were living that incredible day all over again. And it's wonderful to have such a precious gift to share with our family & friends that could not attend the wedding.

My twin daughters were both married this summer 6 weeks apart. The first wedding was in Durham, NC on May 23, 2015 and the second wedding was on July 11, 2015 in Charleston, SC. Before meeting with Nathan, we had viewed many wedding videos and had interviewed other videographers. We were very drawn to Oak City's work and after meeting with Nathan, we felt he was the perfect match for what we were looking for in a videographer. When we met with him, we were only looking for a videographer for the Durham wedding but we were so impressed with him that we booked him for both weddings. The couples wanted a video that would capture the love, joy and sacredness of their weddings and that is exactly what Oak City delivered. Watching the videos transports us back to the wedding days! They are both beautifully done! The two videos are each unique but equally stunning! They captured the heart of the weddings! Ashley and Nathan are professional in every way and were also a joy to have share this special time with our family and friends! They were truly a blessing! I had initially thought that foregoing a videographer would have been one way to cut cost and stay within our budget. I am so happy that the brides were passionate about having their weddings videotaped! I am so glad that we did not cut this because the videos are a treasure and a priceless keepsake! I would tell any future bride to cut cost in other ways. I had no idea how amazing they would be and how they would capture the weddings so beautifully. Nathan and Ashley are amazing. The wedding film was awesome. So heartfelt and better than we ever could have envisioned! It was a great reminder of how special our wedding day was, and what a great time we had hanging out with each other and all of our friends and family. If you're planning on getting married in the Triangle Area in NC, you should definitely hire Nathan and Ashley as your videographers. They were both super nice and supportive, and I can't believe they got all the shots they did. We could not have hoped for better people to work with and for a better video!

Professionalism, skill, artistry, dance, stealth, unobtrusive, AMAZING...these are a few of the words I use to describe Nathan W. Morris (Oak city films) and Warren McCormack Photography. The professionalism you guys showed during the ENTIRE weekend (both the rehearsal AND wedding) and the calmness you had during what is a stressful event (and saying things to make us laugh) was something friends and family kept raving about. The artistry and dance with your "interactions" with one another to capture shots and not get in each others way, and the ability to work together as if you guys are a team that performs this ALL the time did not go unnoticed. You were able to get shots (as shown in this video) that I didn't even see you get, and you guys did not obstruct each others views to capture moments in our wedding. Sammi and I are truly happy with what we saw during our wedding and can't wait to see the finished photos and videos you both captured this weekend!!!! 3 thumbs up to both of you.

Nathan & Ashley were AMAZING to work with! I knew that would be the case from the minute we met with them beforehand. Let me start by saying that I don't care much for being in pictures, much less on video. My mom convinced me that we would regret not having video of our wonderful day, so I listened to her and I am so glad that I did! I cannot stop watching the video they created for us and tune up to cry every single time. I know it is going to be something that my husband and I cherish for the rest of our lives! Having a videographer was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. I was unsure at first if the investment of a videographer is worth it, but it absolutely is! I was also worried if the videographers would be in the way, but I hardly knew they were there. From the very first contact with Oak City Films, I knew this would be a great experience. The planning was effortless. Nathan met with us and genuinely took the time to get to know us. When we left the meeting, we knew our wedding video would be awesome! We received our short film last week and love it!! Nathan and Hattie were able to capture ALL of our favorite ceremony and reception moments. Having a short film is a great way to share the memories with those who could not make it, without sitting through hours of video. Our documentary film is on its way to us and I can barely contain my excitement. I can't wait to relive our favorite moments and the ones we missed.
