Nelson at Nylagray photography was our first vendor chosen for our wedding. We knew we wanted Nelson as he was the photographer for our 2 other friends weddings. Nelson has an artistic style. Our wedding photos are incredibly unique and stylistic! Nelson captured ALL our moments, and even reminded us of pictures we didn't get to during the wedding due to timing and made sure we got the specific pictures we wanted. He was so organized. We didn't lose out on any pictures, he was also so incredibly calm on a crazy day. Our wedding day and memories of our day were absolutely perfect. We will always consider Nelson for future family events that we want to capture through our lives. Nelson, thank you. -

Nelson is an understated yet confident photographer who helped capture our event perfectly. He was so easy to work with and quietly floated throughout the event capturing the big key moments, but even more importantly the quiet candid ones. We will treasure these photos forever.
Given how many aggressive personalities there can be in this space - Nelson was so refreshingly calm and easy to work with. He listened to what we wanted and totally delivered. Highly recommend working with him for any type of event you want captured forever! -

Highly recommend Nelson to shoot your special day!
Looking back at our wedding photos, we just cannot believe how precisely these perfect moments were captured. I only now realize how important that is to look back at these photos, and understand the excitement and atmosphere from each frame, apart from being beautiful of course. Nelson did exactly that - the photos are gorgeous, and just us!
We were looking for a photographer that would capture natural moments, some quirky silly ones, some classy romantic ones, with soft natural colors. We shared with Nelson some of our inspiration and he totally took it from there and did an amazing job!

Not only was he recommended by other photographers, but frrom our first conversation, Nelson was understanding, flexible, humble and really understood what my husband and I were looking for in the 'feel' of our wedding. We had to change our wedding plans and Nelson rolled with the punches and was completely flexible. On the day of the wedding, he was a calming presence, directed us on what we needed to do for the pictures and then blended in the background. He was awesome. Everyone in the wedding party and all of my guests couldn't stop raving about what a nice guy and how awesome Nelson is! We can't wait to see the pics! -

From the moment we met Nelson, he was incredibly kind and easy to work with, surprisingly affordable, and paid close attention to every detail. He made sure to stay in close contact with us through the year of planning, which was so refreshing compared to the other vendors we used who just took payment and dropped off the face of the earth until the wedding day. The service that my husband and I received was absolutely top notch. Nelson was extremely professional, personalable, and his attention to detail was outstanding. Every email and phone call was always returned immediately. Every appointment was always met as scheduled, and on time. The service at Nylagray did not stop after the wedding. I was very pleased that we received our photos unexpectedly early. What a pleasant surprise! Since the wedding, I have recommended Nylagray to two of my family members and have scheduled for an additional photo session. I would recommend him to anyone. Fantastic photography experience with Nylagray Photography!
We cannot recommend Nelson enough! After looking through many photographers' portfolios, we really appreciated many aspects of Nelson's style. On the artistic side, we loved that all of his shots have great composition, a good balance of posed shots with candids; he has a great mix of "artsy" and "true to life" shots, and most importantly he captures not only the important moments of weddings but also how loves ones react to these important moments. On the technical side, we appreciated that his photographs are well lit (not over-exposed/blown out, as seems to be the current trend with many photographers), few photos have an obvious flash, and he has the skill to capture fast movement (like dancing, which was... -

Highly Recommended
Nelson was great to work with.
He was easy to get a hold of throughout the years-long covid-delayed wedding planning process and he made time for multiple phone conversations to make sure we were all on the same page.
On our wedding day, the two of us were so anxious and frantic, but Nelson brought such a warm, calming energy, as did his 2nd photographer which he brought. We really like how it never got too "posey" or "cheesy". Throughout the shoot, things felt really natural and organic.

Best photography experience
From start to finish, the process of booking with Nelson and Nylagray was seamless and simple!
My husband and I found Nylagray when Googling photos of weddings at our venue and fell in love with Nelson's perspective while watching slideshows on the Nylagray website. All of our communications occurred via email which made things super simple for a couple who both work long hours and had an eventful year leading up to the wedding. I was so impressed when Nelson emailed me the week of our wedding with photos he had taken while scouting our location (in NJ) for areas to do just bride and groom photos which I had requested happen before photos with our families... -

We met Nelson at my husband’s twin brother’s wedding in 2016, and saw firsthand not only how friendly, warm, and laid back he was, but what an amazing photographer he is and how much love he brings into it. He was the first vendor we hired over a year before our backyard wedding in June 2018, and he was extremely professional and responsive in all of our communication.
