We worked with David and Lana for our wedding on 9/6/25. My planner found NYCT DJs after I requested a bilingual MC for our Vietnamese-American wedding. We had 3 meetings with David to plan the day. The first meeting consisted of introductions and the vision my husband and I wanted for our wedding. He also shared with us their detailed word document that went over every small detail related to music and entertainment possible. The second meeting happened after the document was filled out and I had created 3 playlists for David— a cocktail hour playlist, dinner playlist, and a dancing playlist. We went over all the details and other specifics of the day i.e timeline, intros, outros, must plays, and do not plays. The last meeting David and I had was mainly to finalize the grand entrance. As you can see the planning process was very thorough and let me tell you, well worth it. All the key songs I wanted for each playlist, he played and it was so well curated that during dinner, I didn’t want to sit down to eat, I wanted to stand up and dance. David knew how to transition the night from grand entrance to first dance with ease and how to hype up the crowd in an instant. We all had an amazing time and I would highly recommend him. I’ve already gotten questions from some friends that are getting married in the following years where I booked my DJ because he was amazing. -

Amazing DJs who provided advanced meetings to go over our music selection and a run through of our wedding day. They have very good taste in music and took the time to curate playlists suited for each part of the day. David was integral to organizing everything and Danny did an amazing job DJ'ing and MC'ing for our day. Would definitely recommend and well priced! -

Highly recommend booking NYCT DJs for your wedding/parties!! DJ Rubin is super easy to work with and is phenomenal! They really know how to get everyone on the dance floor and stay on the dance floor all night long! I loved how DJ Rubin was so involved with the crowd and certainly knows how to make you laugh! Book them now; you won’t regret it!! -

We had the absolute pleasure of having David Rubin from NYCT DJs as our wedding DJ, and we couldn't be happier! From the start, David was professional, attentive, and easy to work with, taking the time to understand our musical tastes and creating a perfect playlist for our special day. When our venue had some drastic changes before the wedding, David stepped up without hesitation, coordinating with other vendors to ensure everything flowed smoothly. His impeccable communication kept us confident and relaxed throughout the process. When the venue missed an important detail, David noticed our disappointment and made sure it was handled. The dance floor was packed all night, and our guests are still raving about the fantastic music and energy David brought. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! DJ Rubin made our wedding a night to remember! David was very professional and communicative throughout the entire process. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and paid close attention to our music preferences. He also assisted us through the planning process, giving us suggestions on music choices when we were stuck. Day-of he and his assistant were EXCELLENT. He provided audio for the ceremony, throughout the dinner & formalities, and then DJ’ed the night away with ALL of our favorite songs. He was able to read the crowd, get them dancing, and keep the party going. He truly MADE the wedding and gave us and our guests a top-notch experience. Thank you, David and assistant, for the AWESOME energy you brought to our wedding! -

Working with NYCTDJs & DJ Rubin was such a great experience! We had some very specific visions for music at our wedding and DJ Rubin absolutely made it happen. Outside of meals the dance floor was fully packed the entire time and months later, I still have guests telling me it was the best dancing at a wedding they’ve ever experienced. I absolutely CAN NOT recommend David enough. He was wonderful from start to finish. Not only did he ensure that the ceremony went beautifully, he stepped in and saved the day on multiple occasions when things weren’t going quite right. He cheered on our other vendors and helped them (literally stacked, moved, and piled up chairs) and made wonderful suggestions to ensure that we captured several meaningful moments throughout the day. I truly felt like he listened to us the months leading up to the wedding and spent the time to get to know us, what our values and hopes were for the day, and helped bring that to life. On top of it all, he took his own photos and videos and shared them with us. He was simply the best! -

Rubin was a fantastic DJ for our wedding! From the start he was always professional and super helpful when picking out the music and vibe for our wedding. He knew the best songs for the ceremony that made it feel so special, then brought out the dancing tunes that had everyone on the dance floor! He was very organized when it came to announcements of key moments and kept things moving with ease. I feel he really listened to our opinions, likes/dislikes and truly delivered on what we wanted. He’s also a super sweet genuine guy! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DJ RUBIN!!! -

We hired David for a work party and he was unbelievable, so professional and kept the party going all night. We gave him an idea of music we were looking for but he went above and beyond with selection and his set up was great. We look forward to using him for all future events! So reasonable priced too which is hard to find these days. Thank you again David! -

Look No Further!! Absolutely Amazing!!
If you need a DJ, look no further, DJ Rubin (David)is your guy! He is absolutely amazing, I can not say enough good things about him. We hired him for our wedding and I have zero regrets! He kept the party going and played every thing we asked for and more! He is very kind, professional, and will immediately put your mind at ease that you are in good hands. He listens and caters to your every musical requests. From the latest equipment to the uplighting and even took extra time to record some of the most memorable moments. We absolutely adored him! 10/10 would hire again!! -

DJ Rubin was an amazing Emcee and DJ at my cousin Danielle's wedding in Old Saybrook. He had the guests on the dance floor all night! His music taste was amazing, with awesome blend of classics with modern dance tracks. He even had awesome LED lights that went with the music. Rubin was professional and the best entertainer, he even brought the mic on the dance floor. I would highly recommend DJ Rubin and NYCTDJs for your next event!! -

David is an outgoing person who really brought out the best in people, even if they thought they didn't want to dance. Our ceremony and wedding reception came together flawlessly because of David! We can't thank him enough and our guest were super impressed with the way he interacted with everyone. He really kept the party going! The only bad part was that the party had to end. -
