We loved nuvo room

Our wedding was nothing short of everything we dreamed of! Nuvo Room we’re so attentive to our needs & took care of us in more ways than one. The fact that offer food, liquor AND the venue at a very good price all in one was a plus to us! The food was awesome, which I knew it would be because they also a culinary art school in the same building. My wife & I would recommend Nuvo Room to any of our friends who are getting married & want a stress free experience. They also offer taste testing for menu selections, which were so hard to pick from because they were all delicious. We truly appreciate the nice staff who assisted us on our special day! Not to mention there is a park in the back of the venue which we used for our bridal party pics! Everything was amazing! Thank you all for everything! If I called & asked, they answered & delivered! It made our day & the days leading up to our special day that more less stressful! My guests were pleased & so were we! :)

Nuvo Room is Amazing

To start, Cece is amazing! She really helped bring our plans to life & then some. The venue starts as a blank canvas, and progresses to whatever you can dream of. The venue was extremely accommodating and proactive. The food was amazing, and the service members were excellent. I have nothing but rave reviews of Nuvo Room. Our wedding turned out perfectly.

If you’re looking for a venue who can take care of all your needs, please choose the Nuvo Room. Cecelia was great to work with from start to finish. The event turned out beautiful and they provide everything you may need. The food was great, the servers, and bar tender displayed professionalism and excellent service. Our guest loved everything about it! We definitely recommend this venue for any event you may have!

Beautiful venue!! My contact person was cece and she was always there to answer any questions or concerns I had. I love that it’s all inclusive and I have heard great things about the food from a couple of brides that had their wedding there. Price includes food and they have so many options to choose from

The entire Nuvo Room staff was AMAZING to work with. Vivian and Cece took away all of my worries and made our wedding day unforgettable. I am forever grateful to them. The venue is beautiful and the staff is professional. I absolutely LOVE the Nuvo Room!

Wonderful Affair

Jaena and Nuvo Room helped make my daughter's wedding perfect. The room was decorated beautifully and the food was delicious. Loved the lighting and sound which made a wonderful ambiance. Jaena was easy-going and relaxed as she directed the ceremony. Photobooth was a hit. I couldn't be happier. Thank you to everyone at Culinary Arts.

We loved it and will used it again. All our friends also talking about what events is coming up so now they have their place to go too.

My guess love everything the set up and the space it had for both of the events. Many people didn’t know about it now lots of our friends will be using it for their events. Everyone had a good time and the food everyone loved it.

My husband & I LOVED Nuvo Room & are so glad we chose them for our wedding reception. Everything from beginning to end was seamless & the staff there is friendly, organized, & professional. They really put our minds at ease during a time that can easily become stressful. I definitely recommend them.

Words can not express how much I looooove this venue. Not only did I absolutely love the Nuvo Room , I loved working with Makesha. She was very precessional, accommodating and personable. She made sure my wedding day was a success. She was extremely patient with me and I can not thank Makesha and the staff of Nuvo room enough. Nuvo Room is a wonderful venue. Not only did I receive incredible service and a beautiful venue for my wedding day but the food was amazing! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NUVO ROOM. You all were wonderful and I appreciate you all.

We just had our wedding here on 9/24/16 & we were really blown away by how Makesha & Macie made our vision come true. Not only did they go above & beyond to make sure everything went smoothly but they were also very attentive & understanding. Our families & guests were very impressed with the venue but also with the service. From our coordinator Makesha to the food servers & bartender everyone did an outstanding job & their customer service was phenomenal. THANK YOU very much to everyone at Nuvo Room for making our wedding PERFECT!!!

We had our son and daughter's B'Nai Mitavah at Nuvo Room in September 2016. I cannot say enough about this venue. The party was gorgeous, the food was outstanding, the staff was terrific, but the shining star was Makesha Miles, our event coordinator at Nuvo Room. Her attention to detail was outstanding. She went the extra mile, and then some, to make sure we were happy. The whole experience far exceeded our expectations.

NUVO Room was a great venue for our school Prom! The space is very nice and has a lot of flexibility with several options to set-up the room, lights, BOGOs, tables, seating, lounge seating and accessories. The menu was very good, again with lots of options! We had several compliments from the students and chaperons on how delicious the food was and that they really liked the decor/space. Makesha was wonderful to work with, very helpful and flexible! Great location, easy to get to.

Makesha and Macie The Event Planers were fantastic to work with. They helped us and met with us several times. Gave us extra time to make sure the event went smoothly. Great event place! Food was wonderful and the room decorations were perfect. We will be back!

I worked with Makesha and she was great! The owner knew who we were and always came out and greeted us when he was there. The venue is beautiful and definitely worth the money! My guests are still sending me messages on how beautiful the wedding was and how good the food was. I recommend this place to everyone!

Choosing Nuvo Room for our wedding reception was the best decision we could've made! Makesha and her team made sure everything was perfect that night. From the very beginning of us leaving a deposit, Makesha was diligent in reminding us on what was next on our to-do list. The food tasting was amazing! We had already attended two open houses, one before leaving the deposit and the second one after. Each open house was unique and offered us a first hand look on what our reception would be like. To make things even better, their rates and fees are very reasonable. Nuvo was perfect as we were on a tight budget!

Makesha was amazing!! She knows exactly what she's doing. I explained to her what I envisioned for the room to look like and she made it happen. During our reception, she was alert and kept things running smoothly. She even hunted my husband and I down so that we could sit down to eat! I would definitely recommend Nuvo Room for your next event!

The Nuvo Room was fabulous to work with. Makesha and her team were responsive, flexible and creative in their ideas and recommendations. Our daughter's Bat Mitzvah party was outstanding! The room was beautiful and staff were courteous and efficient, and the food was delicious. Our guests continue to compliment the event. I highly recommend the Nuvo room.

I just wanted to take a moment to follow up with a HUGE Thank you for an OUTSTANDING 80’s Party at the NUVO Room!! We all worked together on what we wanted at this party, but all of you made it come to life with amazing details:

• The Venue was amazing!! Thank you Makesha and Team for all of your hard work!!
• Makesha was amazing the entire evening, making sure she was available if we needed her. LOVED working with her
• The Candy Station was Eye Popping!! Thank you Olivia for putting that all together!!
• Yossi and his entire staff had food that was out of this world!! Kudos on a job well done!! I also appreciate Yossi coming out and requesting to meet my boss, Nice touch!!
• Banquet Captain Cecelia did a fantastic job checking everyone in and being very welcoming to all of the Check Point employees
• Bartender’s Alex, Anna and Jose did a superb job making sure that everyone had drinks in their hands in a timely fashion!! Love the entire bar set up!
• Off Duty Police Officers were outstanding!! We made sure they left with a lot of goodies, cupcakes and candy!!
• Last but not least Jimmy Corona the DJ!!! The music and Videos playing throughout the night captured the 80’s completely!! Jimmy was so good!! He was very gracious with requests, assisted with the Games we played providing background music and overall made the party a success.

I would also like to thank Makesha and Olivia for all of the phone calls we had discussing details of this event and tweaking floor plans, both were very responsive and extremely Customer Focused!

ALL of you went above and beyond with all of the details to make this one of the best parties I have ever been to, and very special for all of the Check Point employees!!

I would highly recommend the NUVO Room for a Company Venue!

Brittany at Nuvo Room is extremely helpful and accommodating. The venue is beautiful and spacious. I'm so glad we chose it for our reception. Being able to bring your own alcohol was our top priority and really is a must, and Nuvo Room provides this option.

I would give this VENUE a 100/100 if I could. The location was absolutely beautiful and VIVIAN MORGAN is the absolute BEST in the WORLD. She delivered on every promise. My guest are still saying how beautiful the wedding and reception were. This was by far the best value in town...amazing food, beautiful venue, and awesome staff.

Honestly could not be happier with our choice of using the Nuvo Room as our event venue! We were absolutely blessed to find Sarah and Yossi to make our day incredible and worry-free. They were wonderful to work with - very responsive and easy to get ahold of, and they made every part of the process fun and enjoyable. Together we were able to throw an awesome party, and everyone raved about what a cool place the Nuvo Room was. They truly transformed their contemporary, all-white blank canvas into a cool, club-like party room! I was thrilled with how everything went and couldn't have been happier! I would highly recommend this venue and these people!

Nuvo Room was beyond perfect for our wedding! We were looking for a modern open space with natural lighting and flexibility with the layout. Nuvo Room did not hesitate to answer all our questions and worked with all our requests. If you are looking for a clean, modern and budget friendly venue then Nuvo Room is a must see. You and your guests will not be disappointed with this venue for any event.

Shout out to Emily for all her hard work the day of. Couldn't have asked for more. The staff was on point with everything from beginning to end. I would want to do it again but I don't want to out due the terrific time time we had. Still getting compliments on the food and staff. What an amazing place with amazing coordinators!

I was lucky enough to work with a wonderful coordinator (Makesha) who was very responsive, helpful and accommodating to my needs and wants. I am one to appreciate feedback and honesty when I ask what someone thinks. She was all of these things and even provided great suggestions/ideas when I was lacking in creativity.

They made sure I understood payment clearly as well as payment deadlines. Total transparency. Also, in order to book the venue and serve a dinner, you must use their catering company, Culinary Arts Catering, which is also FANTASTIC!

The place is kept very clean, they offered many different items that are different than other venues (such as renting lounge furniture, even food stations vs. a buffet or plated dinner).

Nuvo Room was incredibly responsive to my emails and phone calls and flexible when scheduling times to visit the venue to plan further. They also provided a great floor plan to help with other planning (such as the florist).

Also, to speak with their flexibility more, they even made big floor plan changes, pin lighting, hanging crystals, hanging up my personal items from home, etc. They moved things around multiple times and made sure I was happy with how it turned out.

They are veterans when it comes to lighting and it was AMAZING. They had great suggestions and shared their concerns with me to help make my event the best possible. I have no complaints regarding this venue/caterer. They were wonderful.

The Nuvo Room is unquestionably one of the best private event facilities around, if not THE best. Moreover, GM Vivian Morgan and her staff display utter professionalism and tremendous customer service upon contact, which is rare these days in forums such as event rentals. I look forward to working with Nuvo Room on a couple of events in 2013, and would recommend the venue to anyone wishing to hold a private, upscale function!! A+++

Overpromises and under-delivers

From the start, the venue seems sophisticated with their various food choices for the open house and even when we book the venue, chef and the team members seem genuine and professional. We were thrilled at how excellent the food tasting was a month before our wedding and had requested for larger portion sizes on our actual day. Because we paid a huge and I mean huge chunk of money for our food/beverage selections since they are dual and trio entrees, we wanted a second food tasting to taste our other dishes to be sure, but we did not get what we requested for. As we approach our wedding date, several struggles arise and lack of communication shows through. Several decisions were made without our input from floor-plan layout to miscommunication in our menu selections, and the venue manager was not communicating to my other vendors as everything has to go through me and we feel stressed with the redundancies. We feel like the manager is not experienced and did not fully understand our needs and accommodations. On our wedding day, we were HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED at the outcome of the food as they were WAY SMALLER PORTIONS than the food tasting and the taste was WAY OFF than what they promised us. The meats were dry and flavorless and red snapper fish was smelly nothing compared to what we have tasted at the food tasting. Even the vegetarian portions were SOOO SMALL and flavorless that we noticed majority of guests did not touch their food. It was as if another chef had cooked the food or premade them somehow. We had bragged to our family and friends beforehand of how cool the venue is and how good the food is. Yet, WE ARE NOT HAPPY and LOST OUR HOPES right on the spot, but we did not want to make it a scene on our happy day. Additionally, we have requested for two Led lights display for our wedding theme, but only one light were led up for the night. The manager was not quick-witted at handling the venue’s staff as the flow was not efficient as we have hoped for. Our guests have left the night early since they told us afterward they were hungry and was so disappointed and unhappy at how bad the food tastes and was expecting better larger food portions to fill them up for the night. They complained that the venue table setup were poorly executed as many of them who sat on the corner could not see the slideshows and events on stage. We feel so appalled and embarrassed hearing their comments.
We feel like THIS VENUE OVERPROMISES AND UNDER DELIVERS as we did not have a good smooth experience with them. We should have listened to our family and book elsewhere from the start but because this venue is fairly new, we thought to give it a chance yet we are wrong. Ultimately, We DO NOT RECOMMEND OTHERS TO BOOK this venue if food selections are your priority and make sure to ask all the details as they will change the contract policies and small details without discussing with you. For instance, two security officers were stated in my original contract yet there were no officer on the day as the manager says they were not required due to some new policies that we were not even aware of and discussed with us. We feel anxious for our safety on the actual day as well. We just feel our expectations were crushed since our wedding day was not what we envisioned it to be. We just hope the chef and staffs would do something to make amends for our wounded hopes, but we figure it is what it is. Once you paid off your balance, no vendors will care about your satisfaction plain and simple stated. We feel like this is a total scam.
