Nunan's was great!
We hired Nunan’s Florist & Greenhouses for our wedding in Gloucester in July 2023. Our florist was the last vendor we hired for our wedding and as a result we budgeted the least for this component. After emailing several florists and feeling a bit hopeless about making our budget work and having quality flowers, we came across Nunan’s florist. We worked with Ron Adkins and he was delightful. He was prompt, easy to speak with, and understood our vision while being mindful of our desired budget. The flowers for our wedding were stunning with vibrant and romantic colors. We were worried about the flowers in the heat given we were having our first look and photos on the beach followed by our ceremony, but Ron assured us they would be more than fine and he was correct. We took the flowers from our archway home and they lived happily for several weeks. Ron also went above and beyond to help us with our flower delivery to two different locations. We highly recommend Nunan’s Florist & Greenhouses!

Extremely Happy Bride and Groom!
We recently worked with Nunan Florist for our wedding and had a great experience working with Ron and his team. Ron was a pleasure to work with and made himself available for several meetings to discuss what we wanted. He offered many great suggestions and helped us think through every aspect from bouquets, table settings, and the flower collar for our dog. He also was flexible at working within our budget. So many compliments on our flowers.
We had a “micro” wedding and used Nunan’s for our bouquets and corsages. I had a vision to use the bouquets as centerpieces as well and Kayley helped that vision come to life. My bouquet was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I showed photos and gave colors and my vision was met. I had an idea for baby’s breath also and they met all of my needs. The flowers were so fresh and lasted long after the wedding. I definitely recommend Nunan’s.

They are fantastic! We first called them because they rented trees and we wanted a botantical garden look for a Jan 2021 wedding. Like many COVID brides, we rescheduled a couple of times and when we finally married in May, we skipped the trees but kept the florist. Our image was not fully thought out - we wanted something organic and somewhat casual for a farm wedding, but we wanted the flowers to also look somewhat dramatic - like a wedding (rather than a bridal shower). Kayley was wonderful and took the vague ideas we had, along with the pictures we sent, and produced something absolutely stunning.
I should also mention that Kayley (who we worked with) is not only knowledgeable and creative, she is flexible (we changed our date a couple of times; and our vision too- from a winter to spring event - and flexibility is key for a COVID bride), creative (the flowers came out wonderfully), super enthusiastic and supportive, and allowed us to make some additions on short notice (we added a welcome sign and wanted to add a garland there, etc.). The flowers were also affordable. We had more flowers than we could count (7 beautiful centerpieces, 3 giant urns for the church, aisle flowers, and bud vases for the cocktail reception, as well as a garland for our welcome sign) for an exceptionally reasonable price. If you are debating, go ahead and hire them! You will be glad you did.

Beautiful flowers and so flexible!
My mom and I for the longest time thought we'd try to do the flowers ourselves for the wedding....until we realized we didn't want to have to deal with it that day. We heard about Nunan's and reached out somewhat last minute - I think it was a month before the wedding. I love flowers but I knew I wanted simple tulips for a March wedding but was sure that if I went through a florist it would be so expensive. We met with Kayley and she was so easy and fantastic to work with. She took our simple idea, helped us find ways to keep it within our price range and it turned out beautiful. Our centerpieces were a combination of only tulips and also mixed bouquets with tulips mixed in, and she suggested that we reuse the bridesmaid bouquets and have them popped in the centerpieces at the wedding - I LOVE not wasting! It was such a great thing to do especially when the bridesmaids would likely leave them some where. It was perfect!
I should also mention that my wedding was March 14, 2020 - right as the world was getting weird and coronavirus was so new. Among all the uncertainty of that weekend, they were so professional and dependable. When I started to get so worried in the day or two leading up - it was great to have vendors like Kayley and Nunan's that helped maintain the happy feeling of the day.

I highly recommend Kayley at Nunans! She was knowledgeable, a pleasure to partner with and very flexible when I decided to trim our floral budget, making marvelous adjustments. Our small backyard wedding for 30 guests was simply beautiful, due to her creativity and attention to every detail. Kayley and Nunans far exceeded our expectations. When we arrived to our backyard after our photo session, we were so happy to see the incredible transformation of the tent, tables, and arbor. It was the perfect start to a our special evening. Amazing Experience!
Nunan was recommended to us both by my friend and our venue. They were such a great vendor to work with and provided us with pretty much all of our wedding decorations. We worked with Jayne and Kayley who were both incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided so much great advice on how to really make the centerpieces and bouquets look beautiful. About a month before the wedding, we were really trying to stay in budget and I had asked if there was any way to trim the budget a little bit and I cannot say enough about how flexible Nunans was with our budget. They gladly made some changes to fit into our price range. On the day of the wedding, when I arrived onsite and saw the flowers, I almost started to cry (HAPPY tears!!). They were so much more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. My bouquet was the perfect mix of sunflowers and roses with blue and white accents. My bridesmaids' bouquets were perfect along with the ceremony decor. The women at Nunans made a suggestion of tying something around the top of the mason jars and we went with royal blue ribbon (one of our wedding colors) and it really added so much to them!! They were perfect. All of our family and friends wanted to take the centerpieces home and kept talking about how beautiful the flowers looked!! I would not hesitate to recommend Nunan's Florist.

Flowers from Nunan's were a dream come true
Working with Jayne at Nunan's was a fantastic experience. She made everything I could have imagined for my flowers even more gorgeous. I had a very vague picture of what I wanted for my flowers to look like. I knew the colors of them and where I wanted them, but had very little vision for what exactly I wanted. Jayne took the time to ask questions and gather the types of flowers that I wanted to incorporate and helped me to find a vision and then make that vision perfect. Every flower was perfect, from the trellis to the bouquets, to the centerpieces, and everything in between.
She went above and beyond to coordinate with my wedding venue to make sure the flowers would look great and was there to set them up and make sure every inch of the venue was perfect.
I would recommended Nunan's every day of the week!! You certainly will not be disappointed!

My husband and I had Nunan’s as our florist for our wedding. We worked with Jayne, who was amazing. do yourself a favor and choose Nunan's as your florist. Jayne is a GENIUS!!!!! She brought my vision to life-I wanted drapey, romantic, and bohemian and holy crap did she deliver. I gave her a budget and she was willing to work with me to give me exactly what I wanted. My bouqet was EPIC, PEOPLE WERE RAVING ABOUT THE FLOWERS!! They were truly spectacular. Jayne in general is such a wonderful person- she is kind, calm, and attentive. She met with me a few times before the wedding to go over every detail.At the wedding I saw her and she gave me a huge hug- what florist does that? She is so special and you are all crazy not to use her for your wedding haha. Also, the wedding coordinator was about to come up to me during the weddding to tell me I needed to take my arch down (not kidding) and Jayne jumped right in and said DO NOT BOTHER THE BRIDE WITH THAT RIGHT NOW, and came to our venue in the wee hours of the morning to break down our arch free of charge. I admittedly didn't have a grand vision for my flowers, so I gave Jayne a general idea of what I was looking for and let her run with it and I'm so glad I did! They came out absolutely beautiful. I had a really tough time choosing our florist for our wedding at The Commons 1854 on 5/19/18. We made the mistake of booking our florist as our last vendor, and I met with multiple florist shops that would not work within our budget, until I found Nunan's. We originally met with Courtney, and she was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. She understood our vision immediately and showed us flowers that she thought would fit that vision and our budget. She even offered for us to provide Nunan's with the vases and glassware for our centerpieces and decorations to help save us some money, which we really appreciated! She was never out to make more money on us, just wanted to provide exceptional service, which she did.
As time got closer to our wedding, Courtney had made the decision to spend more time with her family and Nunan's hired Jayne as their new florist manager. I was a little nervous working with someone new, but I cannot even express into words how incredible Jayne is. She met with my husband and I about a month before our wedding and went over everything we had previously discussed with Courtney to make sure that she was able to execute our vision just as we had discussed it. 2 days before my wedding, I was frantic about expected rain on my day and Jayne flawlessly executed more florals to spruce up my ceremony space (she even met us at our rehearsal to see the space so she could create something that would complement the room!). On the day of, she personally hand delivered all of our florals, and even waited until after the ceremony so she could set up our reception space.
It was beyond my wildest dreams how beautiful everything was. Walking down the aisle, I swear I spent more time in awe looking at the florals and decorations than I did my husband. Jayne, thank you so much for your professionalism and incredible work. We loved working with you and will not hesitate to tell anyone and everyone to hire Nunan's for all their wedding floral needs!

I am not typically very into flowers, but I love love loved the flowers that Courtney put together for our wedding! We went in without an idea for budget and she helped make a plan for a mid-level budget and then we could adjust from there the prices on each type of item. She brought loose flowers to our venue and created a beautiful spray over our arbor for our ceremony. She was super accommodating and you can tell that she wants to make everything exactly as you're hoping. The bouquets and centerpieces lasted for almost 2 weeks after the wedding too!

I worked with Nunan's for my wedding flowers, and it was perfect from start to finish. Courtney is amazing to work with! She took the vision I had in my head for my bouquet and turned it into a beautiful reality.

Courtney was amazing to work with right from our initial consultation meeting! She really helped me figure out what I wanted, plus I felt she took the time to get to know me and my husband. She was able to give us exactly what we wanted within our budget. I even emailed her from my rehearsal the night before with changes and she was so accommodating.We got so many compliments on our flowers. The bouquets were delivered early and were just stunning. There is not a single thing I would change about my wedding flowers, and if I had to do it over again I would definitely choose Nunan's!

From start to finish this was by far the easiest vendor experience I had when planning my wedding. They were able to work with my tight budget and took every idea I had and made it real life. Courtney was an absolute delight to work with, not to mention incredibly talented. We chose Nunan’s for our wedding flowers on the recommendations of a family friend and it was absolutely the right choice. Courtney took my ‘all over the place’ vision and somehow managed to figure out exactly what I wanted and then pulled it off in spectacular fashion. Between my first meeting and last meeting I completely 100% changed everything I wanted and she was so great about it. If you are like me and don’t believe in spending a small fortune on something you are going to throw out after 8 hours of use, you must consider this place! I got my dream flowers all within my allotted budget. Everything looked amazing the day of the wedding and I honestly couldn’t be happier with it all! Courtney and her team worked tirelessly setting everything up in the insane heat before the wedding and everything lasted for days after. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

We worked with Nunan's last year for our wedding. Courtney was so great, she took all of my ideas, photos, pintrest boards and made them a reality. I was blown away by the work she did! Everything was perfect from the large garlands we had made down to the succulent favors. I don't even know how many emails I exchanged with Courtney she was so responsive and personable I felt that she really understood my vision for our wedding. The day of my wedding I felt so relived that I chose such amazing vendors, they took care of everything! Courtney also made sure that we stayed in budget by using seasonal flowers and swapping the really expensive blooms for equally beautiful less expensive flowers. Just when I thought that they had really outdone themselves.. one year later for our anniversary my husband went back to Nunan's and they made me a mini replica of my wedding bouquet. It was absolutely gorgeous and made me feel like a bride all over again.

We cannot say enough nice things about this florist company and our wedding florist Courtney! She was always prepared with examples of flower arrangements, knowledgeable with flower availability and pairing for arrangements. She was able to work with our budget. She welcomed any and all ideas and provided the wedding bouquet of my dreams! It was airy, with gold dipped rose petals and she hand made a matching flower wreath for myself and bridesmaids. The venue was covered with flower petals what were dipped in Gold. They provided prompt service the day of our wedding and spent time explaining how to care for each item ordered. They made deliveries at several locations (brides home, wedding reception, church etc) without extra charge. They coordinated the design of the venue and also pick up of all items. My family has used Nunan's Florist & Greenhouses for our home's landscaping and flowers throughout the years and we continue to be impressed with their selection and customer service.

I wish I could give Nunan’s 50 stars- I cannot say enough good things about this vendor. I wasn’t really sure who to go with when picking out wedding flowers, but stumbled upon Nunan’s after reading other great reviews. From day one, Courtney, the florist manager, was so accommodating. She had so many creative ideas and really went above and beyond. I was so impressed by how the centerpieces and bouquets came out- Courtney really does top of the line work. She was always quick at getting back to me and never complained when I sent multiple emails a day and reassured me that everything would look beautiful. Come the wedding day, everything came out phenomenal!! My first words walking down the aisle were "the arbor looks gorgeous!" From the ceremony decor, to the cocktail area, to the stunning centerpieces and reception decor everything was beyond words. For my March 2014 wedding, I worked closely with Nunan's Floral Manager, Courtney Langlois. I went in with only general ideas, knowing very little about the decisions I had to make and the proper terminology to describe what I wanted. During my consultation with Courtney, she asked thoughtful questions and guided me through each decision carefully. By the time I left, she had helped me design a floral scheme that represented my wedding perfectly. My flowers and centerpieces, composed of white calla lilies and orchids, were simple but breathtaking. I got so many compliments on how lovely the reception looked and I attribute that primarily to Courtney's design. (To this day I still get compliments on her centerpieces, which were orchids submerged in water and topped with floating candles. They absolutely made the room glow.) I found Courtney to be thorough, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, and she treated my wedding with the care that I imagine she would give her own. I can't recommend her services highly enough.

My flowers where the thing that made my ceremony and reception what it was!! We did not have really any other decorations the flowers said it all and were so elegant and beautiful! In looking for florists for my daughters wedding I came across many florists in the North Shore area, but the majority of them had a minimum, usually around $2,000 for wedding flowers. My daughter and I were interested in a florist who would provide quality flowers, artistically crafted bouquets, and allow flexibility in choices without a minimum fee. Nunan's provided all of that and more! Courtney, the floral designer, is FABULOUS and created beautiful bridal and bridesmaid's bouquets, as well as a fabulous trellis and some small floral arrangements that were scattered about the venue. She incorporated all of our flower requests and came up with beautiful, artistically crafted arrangements. I only have positive things to say about Nunan's and Courtney!

We worked with Courtney the floral manager and our flowers were absolutely beautiful! I know absolutely nothing about flowers and with the random pieces of color/terrible descriptions I gave, she truly somehow understood and executed our wedding flowers BEYOND my possible vision! She was also able to advise on all of the different ways we needed to incorporate florals (ceremony, grandmothers, etc!), which was extremely helpful. I am still in shock at how gorgeous by bouquet was (as well as the bridesmaids), and I was floored when I walked into the reception room by the elegant arrangements both tall and low. Flowers were something I put off because they stressed me out due to my lack of knowledge, but if I had known how truly talented Courtney and her team are, I wouldn't have stressed one bit!!!!!

Before we booked a florist, my husband and I thought about doing our own flowers because we did not have floral centerpieces and everything was so expensive, then we found Nunans! Courtney was SO wonderful to work with and when I gave her the ideas I was looking for, she knew exactly what I wanted. Courtney, the floral designer, was so patient and helpful and really had a vision for what flowers would work with the colors I had in mind. Once we decided on the basic colors and flowers, I gave Courtney free reign to design as she saw fit. The day of the wedding I was absolutely blown away by just how beautiful the flowers were and how well the entire wedding floral design tied together. I was so happy that we chose Nunan's to do our bouquets and bouttonieres! From the very first meeting Courtney was amazing. I showed her a few photos of the style I liked and gave her a few types of flowers that I really wanted to work into the arrangements. She was very flexible when it came to a last minute change and she even helped me order loose flowers so we could make our own centerpieces. I was amazed when I saw our bouquets and bouttonieres. I wanted several difficult to find things, including anemones for the floral arrangement and arching bradford pear branches for my ceremony "arch." She found both and executed them flawlessly. Since her services are connected with a greenhouse, she also has access to a lot of live plants and planters that other florists may not have. With planning, she thought ahead, had lots of questions, and took copious notes that put this Type A+ bride right at ease. I would recommend her wonderful wedding services to anyone.

I absolutely loved Nunan's Flowers. Courtney is awesome, so friendly and professional and unbelievably talented! After showing her some pictures of what I wanted, she assured me she knew what I wanted and took it from there. She wrote up a proposal, and even tried to save us money when we substituted one arrangement for something else we had forgotten about. She took the initiative in emailing about details which was a far cry from some other vendors who I felt like I had to constantly remind about details.
On the day of the wedding, I could not believe what I saw when I walked into the ballroom. It was EXACTLY what I wanted and more, it looked like a fairytale, I literally could have cried. Our bouquets and the arrangements for the church were also stunning.
I cannot recommend this vendor enough and if I could give them ten stars I would! Do not hesitate for a moment and get your flowers from Nunan's!

I had a barn wedding with half floral center pieces and half lantern center pieces (with flowers and moss at the base). Everything looked beautiful and she went above and beyond carrying all my decorations in and setting everything up at a very reasonable cost. She is creative and so sweet. She has a calming effect during the craziness of planning a wedding.
My mom also got my flowers for my shower through her which I loved! White flowers, square vases, lemon slices on the sides of the vase. They looked amazing!

Courtney at Nunan Greenhouses was absolutely outstanding. My flowers for my wedding were exactly what I wanted. She made the whole process extremely stress-free , especially on the big day! Courtney set up my ceremony site and after transported everything back to our reception site with no issues or interruptions. I didn't even see her! I highly recommend her expertise and attention to detail for your big day or any other celebration!

Courtney was absolutely amazing. She did my centerpieces, bridesmaid bouquets, flower girl, groomsmen, and my bouquet for my wedding. She took exactly what I had in my mind and made it real. She listened so closely to details, gave me some great new advice, and was always there when I needed her. She also new I was nervous about seeing my pieces for the first time at my wedding, so she created my centerpiece BEFORE my wedding so I could see it. Everything came out more beautiful then I could have asked. She also knew we were paying ourselves and her price was perfect. Nunans will be my florist for ALL occasions!

Courtney was a joy to work with. We originally thought we would not be able to afford flowers for the wedding and only met with Nunan's at the suggestion of our venue. We are SO happy that we did!! I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted. I showed Courtney some pictures of things that I liked and gave her a list of colors and a general idea of the style of the arrangements. She could not have matched it more perfectly. I was blown away by the quality of the flowers and how perfectly they were put together, despite being so reasonably priced. I highly recommend Nunan's for wedding flowers. The Floral Manager is so great to work with, she is very pleasant and creative. She was very patient with me throughout the process and helped with getting the right look with flowers & containers. My wedding also included quite a bit of plant rentals and they have a whole greenhouse full of options. The flowers were amazing, some really different things and it was all fresh and beautiful. The guests were all hoping to take home centerpieces and even the other cocktail table pieces because everything was so amazing. They were thrilled when we gave them away!!

Courtney is the wedding consultant here and she is wonderful to work with! Very kind and has lots of good ideas if you are unsure of what you are looking for. The flowers are SOOOO gorgeous, excellent quality. Our wedding consisted mainly of red roses and they were BEAUTIFUL. They lasted for over a week after the wedding, even the flowers that were left out overnight without water still looked beautiful and perked right back up the next morning once we got them in water.

Courtney, the florist manager, was one of my favorite vendors to work with. She was so warm and accommodating, and created absolutely gorgeous pieces. Nunans was a much better value than all of the other local florists, and the flowers we got were BETTER than all of the arrangements I have seen. We were absolutely in good hands with Nunans and Courtney, and our flowers really looked beautiful in our photos.

OMG...Nunan's saved the day!! I had such a hard time picking a florist! I met with many, and they were the only one that made me feel confident in their skills! I wanted purple calla lillies, but other than thay had no idea what to use. Courtney (the manager) sat with me and helped get an idea of what I wanted and she was able to deliver. I had purchased some vases and centerpieces that she made look incredible!
The day of the wedding I was blown away. The fowers were beautiful and next to the bridesmaid's dresses were unbelieveable! The centerpieces were perfect (family were fighting over who could take them home!!).
Any other flower needs I'd have, Nunan's will be the first place I go!!

I loved working with Lisa--she was very flexible and open to my ideas and came up with an awesome way to keep things really cost-effective but also GORGEOUS! I got a million compliments on the flowers (everyone thought they must have been very expensive--they were NOT!) and she was just lovely to work with. Hands down, Lisa Greene and her team went above and beyond. The bouquets were outstanding, the centerpieces were amazing....I could go on and on. Lisa is very dedicated to her work, she also is a very recognized floral arranging teacher at all the major conferences for that sort of thing. She was very, very reasonable. I was even able to rent huge baskets of native grasses to add to the decor. My flowers were white hydrangeas, sunflowers, yellow roses, wildflowers and herbs. My grooms bout's had to be allergy free, she came through with flying colors. They looked awesome with berries, parsley (of all things!) and other herbs. Our centerpieces were patina watering cans overflowing with the flowers above. The gazebo was decorated with apples, peegee hydrangea and sunflower.
My bouquet was more stunning then I could have ever imagined. So glad I came across Lisa and Nunan's. She made all my dreams come true with my flowers for a price that fit with our budget.

The work that Lisa did was very beautiful. She was very easy to deal with and readily available. She made changes without question and made the experience very nice. We did have a couple of concerns in that when the final flowers arrived they were not really what we had talked about. Bridal bouquette was to be cascading and the cake was to have had more flowers - we provided pictures of both ideas to Lisa. Although those things were different the flowers and the quality of the work were wonderful! We would recommend her to anyone who was looking and we will continue to use Nunan's for all of our flower needs.

The flowers were absolutely beautiful! We met with our contact and he was able to take our ideas and create the perfect bouquets. The price was also very reasonable. My bouquet was placed in water after the ceremony and was still beautiful after we returned from our honeymoon 10 days later.

I LOVED working with Courtney to create the wedding party floral arrangements for our recent wedding (October 2017). Courtney took my general creative direction for the flowers and found a mix of flowers, gifted by my matron of honor, that she knew her team could find in season and on time for the ceremony. Out of 10 researched florists (including an online DIY company) and 5 that I physically got quotes from, Courtney and the Nunan's Florist team was the best value for the budget, was the most courteous and the most responsive to all of my questions about flower varieties and alternatives (e.g. "Are Japanese anemones in season in Massachusetts?" or "Is it possible to include Combo roses in the bouquet?"). Courtney and the entire Nunan's Florist team, thank you for understanding my notes and translating an idea into reality. I'd happily order from this company for any corporate event in the Greater North Shore area again.

I had NO clue what I really wanted for flowers and know nothing about flowers...just random ideas. She made me a sample and I fell in love with it. Their prices are awesome. I told her what I wanted to spend and I got my dream flowers. Other florist shops couldnt even come close to the price I recieved. Flowers looked georgous the day of the wedding. Nunans was a great choice for our flowers. Ron took very detailed notes during our consultation and I sent Pinterest images for inspiration as well. Everything came out beautifully and exactly how I hoped. The bouquets were the perfect size and the colors matched our theme wonderfully. We had originally asked for just greenery on the reception tables but Ron added a few spray roses which were the perfect touch! Everything was balanced and beautiful.

I loved the work that Nunan’s did for my wedding! They were extremely flexible and reliable! With so much else going of planning a wedding it was so nice to just tell them what I wanted and I knew I could trust that it would be done exactly the way I wanted! We used Nunans for our wedding at The Topsfield Commons on 10/24/09. Lisa was great to work with and was really great at answering any questions we had. We got lots of compliments on our flowers the day of our wedding, but I didn't give them a full 5.0 because a few things were forgotten or messed up the day of the wedding. Our boutineers were not exactly as I had requested, and our toss bouquet was completely forgotten. Also we were charged for missing vases after the wedding and it was not any of our fault. Honestly we don't know what happened to the vases as they were so large that nobody would have been able to bring them home in their car anyhow. But overall I was glad that I chose Nunans, they were a great value compared to many other florists in the area.

For our wedding we dealt with Chuck. He was fabulous to work with. He listened to our needs and wants and delivered superbly!! The only reason I didn't give them 5 out of 5 stars for Quality of Service is because my bouquet kept falling apart. My photographer and I had to keep putting the flowers back in. Don't get me wrong the flowers were gorgeous and just what I wanted. Couldn't have been happier!
